I was referred to Chrissy by another coordinator who was booked for my wedding day, and oh my gosh I can't put into words how great she is. Chrissy is absolutely amazing.  With a few months away, Travis (now husband!) and I finally decided to cave in and get a planner for our October 5th wedding. I was in complete denial that I needed help- we didn't want to have a big extravagant wedding so we made the assumption that planning would be easy and laid back. I was totally wrong. The amount of coordination in the last couple months was way more than I expected, and Chrissy was a LIFESAVER. Both Travis and I have hectic work schedules, so we were already limited on time that we could dedicate to wedding planning. Honestly, even if I had all the free time in the world, I would have still made the decision to work with Chrissy. Chrissy immediately put us at ease, understood our vision, and helped support us in every step of the way, including big tasks and tiny details. She was patient, super quick to respond, and genuinely cared about everything. I booked Chrissy and team after reading the glowing reviews. And boy, were we impressed! I had a covid wedding. Any normal wedding is stressful ours was even more so because of the uncertainties due to covid. Without Chrissy, we would have been lost. She is the most helpful and thoughtful planner we have met. At one point we had a difference of opinion about the layout of the wedding venue. We were really confused but in the end we went with Chrissy's choice and we were so glad we trusted her. She truly made the wedding magical and added her own finer touches that we truly appreciated and enjoyed. Her eye for beauty and detail is unmatched. We had an outdoor wedding and there was a rain scare in the forecast. Thankfully we had Chrissy who really managed to think of all possible alternatives and pulled it off beautifully. I've known Chrissy as a fellow wedding industry partner for many years. As a wedding photographer I get the opportunity to work with countless of wedding vendors, and I can tell you that few are as fantastic to work with as Chrissy is. Our wedding was beyond perfect and we owe so much to Chrissy and the PTBW team! Chrissy is the best and was 1000% the right choice! She was incredibly organized throughout the process and was able to suggest solutions and review our contracts for anything we might have missed. Chrissy is extremely professional and organized and her timelines and checklists were extremely helpful to keep us on track. Chrissy kept me calm throughout the process and was always there to listen and provide solutions like when our linens were not available at the last minute or plans needed to be adapted for weather. She was always available to answer random questions at all hours of the day which I really appreciated. I trust her with my life, and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Let me just start off by saying, Chrissy is absolutely phenomenal! Words can't describe how easy she made mine as well as my husbands lives! We booked Chrissy to plan our wedding and she did things for us I never knew we could even do. We had few ideas about colors, where we wanted our wedding, we knew how much we wanted to spend, but we just couldn't settle on a place to have our wedding at. My husband wanted an open bar and honestly I didn't believe that we could afford it. Chrissy found a number of different venues for us, made a spreadsheet of the costs of each and we narrowed it down to three. She broke each one down and did a cost analysis for all three and surprisingly if we booked on a Friday we would get a 25% discount. The open bar was now affordable... I had no idea. She had done a bunch of research and we ended up booking Boundary Oak Golf Course for the 25% off and she even asked them to throw in a number of things. (without her, we would have never known we could ask for). We also hadn't quite decided on a DJ or a photographer, and she gave us wonderful recommendations for both. We ended up booking with Bella Photography, which is a well-known photography company that we thought for sure would be expensive. They were super reasonable and we even were able to get all of our digital negatives as well as a photo book for less than what other photographers base prices were. When it came to linens, I had no idea that most venues offer linens but they don't reach the floor, and this would have been an issue if Chrissy hadn't told us. She was able to find us a great deal and got a huge discount at Danny Thomas Party Rentals in San Jose, the linens were the perfect color. When it came closer to the wedding Chrissy had helped me with a bunch of ideas and even printing, if it wasn't for her, I don't know if I would have ever finished all the printing. She helped us not only save a lot of money but helped make different things for the wedding. She helped me put together boxes for the favors, create menus for each of the tables, and create table names. She kept in direct contact with Lindsey Healy, the Events Coordinator at Boundary Oak to make sure everything was scheduled correctly, she got us our food tasting appointment, made sure we were scheduled for a rehearsal and did a walk through. We ended up needing a riser and Chrissy was able to get Boundary Oak to throw this in for free. Such a big help, since we had no idea we had to schedule all these things and make sure that we weren't getting overcharged, ect. The week of the Wedding Chrissy made an amazing timeline (12 pages long), Now I know you're thinking this is crazy a 12 page long timeline of events, but this included the day before the wedding and was so detailed there was no reason why anyone should have any questions. Chrissy was sure to send our timeline to everyone involved in the wedding; photographer, videographer, dj/mc, boundary oak, officiant, florist, husband, MOH, ect. It was an amazing timeline! The day of was so flawless, I had no idea it could be so easy. Chrissy took care of everything, set up, making sure people were where they were supposed to be, she came to the hotel and checked in on everyone to make sure we were good. I was never nervous because I wasn't sure if everything would turn out, that I knew would be wonderful because Chrissy was always sure to have everything in order. The only thing I was nervous about was walking down the aisle, as any bride should be. Chrissy and her husband worked side by side on the day of and even her mom was there to help! They all were such a great team, while Chrissy was making sure that the ceremony was set, her husband was there to directing people when to walk down the aisle.The reception was absolutely flawless and the set up was above and beyond what I had expected. Chrissy even made our day even more special by personalizing our Bride and Groom chair. She also made a sign that said just married for our scooter that we had at the wedding. Overall, I don't know what we would've done without Chrissy. She made mine and my husbands life so much easier! read more
