Our wedding was more perfect than I could have ever imagined and that is all because of Amanda. She is incredibly organized, thoughtful and truly gifted at what she does. We gave Amanda quite the task as we decided to have a wedding of 250 people at my in-laws private home. We had no idea what we were getting into by having a backyard wedding and I can confidently say that without Amanda the day wouldn't have been possible. Amanda was an absolutely wonderful addition to our wedding day. I honestly do not know how we would have pulled off the day without her. Amanda came highly recommended from a friend who also worked with Amanda for her special day. Amanda stepped into our planning process right after a series of glitches, and helped with managing all of the negotiations with our vendors, and makings rue everything was in order in a timely fashion. My favorite highlight of Amanda keeping calm and making sure things went off without a hitch - the weather rather dramatically changed on our wedding day and got quite chilly. Amanda and her husband came to the rescue and went out and purchased blankets to keep our guests warm. This is one of the highlights that our family still laughs about, and appreciates from that day. The rest of the reception could have gone downhill if she hadn't taken the initiative to do that, and we so appreciated it. Amanda is amazing. My wedding is the most talked about wedding out of everyone in my family. Amanda helped from the initial planning stages, to the days right before the wedding. She truly cares about your vision and wants to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams. My husband and I are truly happy we hired her. Not a single thing went wrong or was questionable the day of the wedding. We had the wedding of our dreams envisioned, and when it came to life, it was so much more. She takes care of the small details that you may not think of. I am not a huge planner, in fact, I hate planning. Having Amanda as our wedding planner, was the absolute best thing we could have done. I have had the pleasure of attending several events put on by Amanda, including my very own engagement party, and she never ceases to amaze me with her creativity, thoughtfulness and passion. If there was such a thing as "Pinterest the Person," Amanda would be that person. I find myself looking forward to events she puts on because I know I'm going to enjoy all of the "little things." For example, before my engagement party Amanda asked what my, now, husband and I liked doing in our free time, what types of food we liked, etc. I had no idea what she was doing with this information and then upon our arrival I realized - from the gorgeous SF Giants coffee table book she turned into a guest book to the playing card party favors, she had personalized the party for us down to the very last detail. Our friends and family still talk about it. Amanda also coordinated my baby shower and I was impressed from the minute I received the beautifully designed shower invitation in my daughter's nursery colors to the time I left the party and took my favorite pregnancy craving home with me from the homemade flavored popcorn bar - she even made the popcorn herself! (Kettle Corn, Cheddar Jalapeno PopCorn, Chocolate Popcorn, mmm)! I also loved that she came up with a hilarious shower game that was not cheesy! ;-) I could go on and on. I've attended an 80th Birthday Party that literally brought tears to my eyes, as well as holiday and children's birthday parties put on by Amanda and they have all been fun, personalized for the guest of honor/guests and perfectly orchestrated. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience working with Amanda. Secondly, I need to thank the owner of our venue who recommended Amanda. Upon our first meeting with Amanda my daughter and i knew we were in good hands. Amanda did an amazing job with our wedding! I was living in Southern California but getting married in Northern California. She was very flexible to meet with me whenever I was up North. I was very busy leading up to the wedding and she did so much work preparing as well as helping me get organized and helping me make sure I had everything done! I did't give her much direction for how I wanted tables decorated, I pretty much just told her our colors and she did an excellent job making the cake table and all the other tables look amazing! It was as if she read my mind and new exactly how I would like it. On my wedding day I did not have to worry about a single thing! I knew I could trust Amanda and she did a fantastic job. My husband and I were so impressed by how she was non-stop throughout the night and was on top of the schedule perfectly! She has some great vendor connections too! Every couple should have someone like her to COMPLETELY take the stress and decision-making off their shoulders on the day of the wedding. It's been a month since my husband and I tied the knot, and I don't think I could've possibly created the dream wedding we had without Amanda. This review is long overdue. Amanda coordinated our large, complex, and intricate Indian Wedding back in October and knocked it out of the park! Our venue recommended her to us because she was familiar with the space and we are so happy they did. Amanda is patient, professional and caring but is not afraid to challenge you or ask tough questions. This is important especially when dealing with many different vendors as we did. Not only was our wedding complex, we had a freak wind/rain storm come through for our wedding weekend so Amanda literally had to flip all of our spaces a few days before and bring in additional tenting etc. She handled all the changes gracefully and with a smile on her face, and made sure that no one knew our gorgeous reception was not our Plan A.
