    Erin was absolutely incredible from start to finish. My daughter Katie (the bride) found Erin--though I'm still not quite sure how--and we are so thankful she did. Having not planned a wedding in nearly 40 years, we quickly realized we needed help, and Erin was the best decision we made. She was our calm in the chaos, our steady voice of reason, and the light guiding us through every step of the planning process. Erin connected us with amazing vendors, gave Katie monthly "homework" to keep her and her fiancé on track, and held regular Zoom check-ins that kept everyone in the loop. She always reminded Katie she could call her anytime with questions or concerns--which gave us so much peace of mind. On the day of the wedding, Erin was everywhere--handling every detail so we didn't have to worry about a thing. She made sure the dresses were fluffed, candles were lit, and even took my purse to my table just before I walked down the aisle. I'm sure there are countless other things she did that I'll never even know about--but I felt completely taken care of. Because of Erin, I was able to focus on being the mother of the bride, and my daughter got to fully enjoy being the bride. I truly can't imagine doing it without her--and now, I feel like I've gained a friend, too. Hiring Erin and her team was hands-down the best money we spent. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

    Erin was truly a godsend to my husband and I during the wedding process. Three months before the wedding we were majorly behind in planning. My sister was my bridesmaid and wedding planner and when she passed away I literally stopped doing all planning. When my husband and I contacted Erin in January for our March wedding at Ruby Hill, she told us about her teams Ruby Hill wedding package we knew Erin was the one for us. After meeting with us and figuring out where we were in planning she made a checklist of everything we needed to do to catch up and then made another one of important deadlines to make sure we were on track without feeling overwhelmed. We had 4 meetings on zoom to go over the checklist to see where we were at and also to go over the seating chart and wedding venue forms. Whenever we had questions we would email or text and get a response within minutes. In terms of vendors she knew each and every one by first name including the people in Ruby Hill and was in contact with all of them for show times, etc so we didn't have to. Day of we didn't have to worry about anything. Her and her team showed up at the venue 30 min before us setting up decor all around the venue based off the boxes of things I gave them. She found my flower girl and ring bearer before the wedding and showed them how to walk down the aisle. And coordinated with all the other vendors to make sure everything was on time. While everyone was eating she was stealthily hiding easter eggs around the venue for my nieces and nephews to find. She went above and beyond and we cannot thank her enough! I have family and friends tell me how smooth the wedding was and it was all because of Erin. People who are getting married at Ruby Hill Country Club stop looking for wedding coordinators and pick Erin and her team, it'll be the best wedding decision!

    Hiring Erin was one of the best decision we've made in regards to our wedding! Just the idea of planning a wedding started to stress me out. Erin made it all easy. I originally came to her wanting to ask her to be a Day of Coordinator...and I'm so glad she turned that idea down. She made us understand that as a wedding planner, you work behind the scenes and it'll just make more sense to walk through the planning together. She's just so friendly, we felt that our monthly meetings was just a hang out with one of our friends to talk wedding deets.  She's very organized and really made sure our vision came to life. I get a little emotional thinking about it, but Erin really did that. Our vendors, wedding decor, wedding party, logistics... ALL of it were all taken care of and we owe Erin so much for making sure of it.  There are not enough thank you's to be given to even come close to letting you know how much we appreciate you, Erin!! We're so thankful for all of the hard work she did before and during the wedding. Come wedding day, we had nothing to worry about, because we were able to wholeheartedly trust that Erin would take care of everything. At one point, she brought me eyelash glue during the reception (it wasn't mine).  I honestly could go on and on about how amazing Erin is, so before I type a 5 page paper... This is all just to say, you will not regret choosing Allora Events as your wedding planner. They'll take care of you :) WE MISS YOU ERIN!

    I couldn't possibly recommend a vendor more highly than Erin and her team. She was a dream to work with, and I'll miss her check-ins now that the wedding is over! Coming from a self admittedly very Type A customer, she is ON IT, and has an answer to everything. She also has been doing this forever and has a ton of helpful suggestions and best practices to make your day run smoothly. She is well connected to the other vendors you'll need, and works with them seamlessly. I felt like her answer to everything was "yes, we can do that / we can make that happen!", which was exactly what I needed to ensure my day was completely stress free. We got married at Ruby Hill, where Erin has worked manyyy times, and is practically part of their crew. She will be the best decision you make to get your planning process going.

    Erin Russo was wonderful to work with. We decided to go with the 'wedding day coordination'. This means, we had monthly check-in, an hour phone call/via zoom, and on the side unlimited text messages/phone calls/emails exchange (if the Bride or Groom) had any questions throughout wedding planning process. This was so great because we were able to reach Erin ANYTIME of the day. Erin was so lovely to work with and listen to her clients. We had so much fun in our meetings, sometimes we would all get sidetrack, talk about random things and joke and laughed the whole time, but was able to get things done in our hour meetings zoom. We got married at the Club at Rubyhill, the staff was so pleasing to work with. So, every couple has a budget and flowers are the top most expensive in weddings. We went through many meetings with Florist, couldn't find the right Florist for us and they also had very high minimum. This is why you have you a wedding planner, Erin found a prefect florist for us. We had a great Team. Three weeks before our wedding, we did had troubles with our tight timeline. We did have to cut a few things out; therefore, Erin helped executive a plan of direction for us. We didn't feel stressed. If you are looking for a wedding planner and feeling indecisive, we promise you Erin Russo and her Allora Team will make your wedding dream come true.

A lot of tears were shed the weekend before when I realized the entire event would be moved indoors. I was a wreck. But ARIANA was my event coordinator and she made me feel so reassured it would be beautiful and she was right. Our planning had gone well the whole year leading up to our wedding week and then I thought it was all falling apart. But she was amazing. She pulled it together and it was stunning!! The Monday before the wedding, she calmed me down and walked me through how it would all be setup inside the cocktail reception area. Our guests said it was better than if it had been outside!! It was cozy, by the fireplace while it was raining outside. Had so many compliments on the ceremony. We attended one of the bridal events to try some food and nothing blew us away then but the food on the wedding day was amazing. Again, so so many compliments from our guests on how good the food stations were. It was seriously really good! My family friends and I joked that all the craziness was the "storm before the calm". Once I had to be in place, ceremony was starting etc..it was the calm. Everything was perfection. Dj Chris was amazing too. I felt so special and everyone there really makes you feel like you are all VIP. Ariana was amazing at the rehearsal too! It's like corralling cats! Everyone is everywhere and talking and walking off. She got to the important stuff and was so patient. And kind. She was also so good and keeping track of all the details (I had a LOT OF DETAILS). Many vendors I hired, timelines, decor and she had it all down. Very capable. And also, what's really nice is although she was my main coordinator she's not there every day (obviously!) but anytime I called whoever answered the phone was able to make notes and she would always follow up too. Can't say enough about the experience!! Only that I want to do it again!!!! lol

Lots of varieties of salads, good choice and well cooked protein and always running on time and filled properly, never waiting for food or for service or clean up. This particular location isn't too far off the freeway, plenty of parking and friendly staff. The ceremony area is really close to the venue so if it's too cold or hot outside it's easy to go in and take pics. I liked how the sound with the venue DJ can be used and heard outside without being seen during the ceremony.

They have a preferred vendor list that was super helpful in guiding us with vendor selection, and the ones we selected from their list ended up being solid fits for us.

We decided to use Direct My Day, and let me tell you all - I could not have imagined having my wedding without them! We only used them for the reception portion of our wedding since we had our ceremony offsite. Saneta was amazing as the point of contact leading up to a month prior to our wedding. After that, Courtney A. was our main contact. She handled all the vendors and made sure everything was being taken care of. She was even a great person to go to when I needed to vent about anything! She would tell me that everything would run smooth and not to worry about other things and to relax. She was like my wedding BFF! Anytime I needed anything she was so quick to respond. If she missed my call she returned it within minutes. Things got hectic leading up to our wedding day, and we couldn't get all the minor details to her. She reassured me she would make everything look great, and that's exactly what she did! There was also another Courtney helping her the day of, and she was amazing too! My son wanted to sit with his cousins, but of course that day he changed his mind and wanted to sit with us at our sweetheart table. Courtney took care of it within minutes, and brought his plate of food. Both Courtney's treated us like VIP's and we didn't have to do a thing! They had to switch an item in the timeline because the sun was setting and BAM it was all taken care of. I can't thank Saneta, Courtney A., and Courtney enough for their hardwork and attention to detail. Joseph and I are so grateful for you 3 and love you so much for making our day perftect. Really all we had to do was tell Jackie what we wanted, drop off all of our materials 2 days before, and leave it all up to her. She was professional, communicative, and caring. The one thing I REALLY appreciated out of Jackie, was that she was so lax on the day of our wedding. She ran things along so smoothly but also didn't keep us to a super tight schedule and let things run it's course naturally. Even though the reception seems long, it's a lot to fit in in a short amount of time but Jackie didn't rush us or make us feel like we needed to do things at the exact moment the timeline was laid out. I didn't once feel wound up and she made me feel super relaxed. She also decorated all of the tables beautifully and really put together what I had envisioned and planned for for months. It was executed perfectly and all of our guests kept complimenting the venue and decorations. She also packed up all of our stuff at the end of the night so we just had to hop into the limo. Jackie always checked in with me and made sure I was ok, hydrated and atleast ate something. She kept checking in on me like a big sister and it was so sincere. My husband and I are VERY grateful to Jackie, Saneta, and the direct my day team. Big thanks to a business that deserves all the stars they deserve.

With every wedding there will always be some type of issue that arrives and with the bumps we faced, it was as if SLE worked magic and made everything better. Leading up to the wedding, Lindsay was so thorough and detailed and made sure to cover everything I did not know even needed to be covered - from placing our custome table numbers (also giving advice on what to use in case of strong winds), lighting our candles, tying the rose petal cones to the chairs, and tons of reception layout drafts. She asked many questions to make sure she understood what we were envisioning and had the most detailed notes I had ever seen! At the same time, she continued answering my 1000000 questions with lots of reassurance that everything will be more than OKAY. Even when we got scammed by a vendor, she was so empathetic and assisted us in what actions to take and other vendors we can look into! You can tell Lindsay is so passionate about her job and it shows with how loving and understanding she is towards the bride and groom, everyone that was a part of the wedding as well as our guests! Even my guests called out how organized and perfect everything looked - it was as if nothing at all went wrong. Lastly, I was also one of the brides who wasn't as organized towards the end of the process and started to be indecisive.. Lindsay was a hero and all my last minute wants/changes and requests were all answered and executed with excellence. We only had a few meetings with Lindsay over the last year leading up to the big day, but everything executed flawlessly. Lindsay was so patient, kind, and understanding throughout the entire process. Indian weddings can be very involved, and although we pared it down a lot, there were still many steps and details that needed to be discussed. She had great suggestions anytime we needed advice and was very responsive to any last minute changes. She was such a bright and lovely person to work with. The set up on the lawn had a few short and tall tables for people to sit and visit. A local Mexican restaurant catered the event. Little Hills provides the PA system for family and friends to give little speeches about their friend who passed. We really liked the large wooden deck with the patio cover. This is where the photos of our friend were on display. Our friends mom was able to set up a laptop that displayed a movie projected on a large screen. It was a sad occasion but the location was very nice.

    I'm simply going to state what happened and try to leave my feelings on this venue/coordinator out…read more We booked a tour 2 weeks in an advance, they have a strict policy where you must show up 10 minutes early or they cancel (we were early), and we had to wait until some childcare issue was resolved so she got there a bit late. We didn't know there was this issue, we called and texted without a response back, so we decided to walk around to see if we could find anyone. The best way to describe this place was that it looked suddenly abandoned mid-activity weeks ago. Doors were open all over the place, cars parked, items from previous events still out, dead leaves in the offices from the doors being open. No one was on site. The nature here is absolutely beautiful and was the main reason we decided to tour here. She gets there, explains why she was late, all is fine. The problem began when she immediately started downselling the place. First, it's that they don't really do 30 person events, more like 150-200, but then proceeds to show us pictures of a small 30ish person wedding. That we would need to pay for the minimum of 50 people even for 30 with the caterer, which was not a cost issue for us. We hadn't discussed any budget or other details besides it was a 30 person wedding and general dates. Then, our preferred dates in Oct/September may not be possible due to construction happening and it "should be posted all over her website". Yall, I checked after the fact and it was nowhere. We were still flexible on dates so again, not an issue. Mind you, this is maybe 5 minutes into the interaction. She reluctantly gave us a tour with minimum details. We had to inquire about most things meanwhile she stated she's been an event coordinator for like 7 years. She barely asked us any questions. She did ask what kind of food we wanted after we declined the Mediterranean option. We said Mexican and she said the minimum would depend on the caterer. She didn't really start to perk up and take the tour a bit more seriously until we mentioned we were from a wealthier area. And even then, she kept asking "really?". At the end of the short tour, she asked if we had received a proposal and we had not. She was somehow convinced we booked a tour last minute. She sounded so shocked no one ever got us anything in the 2 weeks we had booked the tour and said they would get a real proposal with our specific guest count. Even threw in a comment regarding food and how a taco truck would work (we didn't say taco truck). Two weeks later and we never got any sort of proposal or communication. This was such a deeply unprofessional meeting. We were ready to book, we didn't really have too much of a budget, and would have been happy to meet the irrelevant 50 person minimum for food. However, we couldn't even get a proposal out of this venue/team or a full tour based on the pictures of areas we didn't see. Avoid.

My wedding day wouldn't have been a success without their help! A while back, my friend told me that she used One Plus One Wedding Services (OPOWS) for her wedding in 2019. She had good things to say about them. My SIL's friend also used OPOWS, so I figured that if a few of my mutual connections have used this vendor, then I should work with them as well. Since I didn't have a wedding planner, going with a one-stop shop wedding services package was definitely a big help. It made my wedding execution seamless! I reached out to OPOWs about a year before my wedding date. Aggie is the main person who runs OPOWS. Aggie was super responsive with our conversations. She informed me about the wedding service package options. I decided to go with the Plus Package option which includes: photographer, videographer, wedding dresses (which I didn't use), Emcee, DJ (I gave the DJ our custom playlist since my husband and I wanted to pick our songs), hair and make-up artist, reception decorations, and chair covers. We scheduled to meet a few times before my wedding. Aggie was super helpful with providing recommendations and tips. I could tell that she really cares about her clients and wants to leave a good impression. Nearing my wedding date, she provided me with a run down schedule so that I could coordinate with her team and the external vendors that she partnered with. We made sure that my wedding day itinerary made sense. On the day of my wedding, I met most of my vendors in person. I was definitely stressed out because I always have this fear that something will go wrong. But to my surprise, all of my vendors did an excellent job on my wedding day. I could tell that they really enjoyed their job and tried to help me make the most out of my wedding day. Throughout the wedding and after the wedding, I received so many compliments from my guests in regards to the wedding decorations, the vendors we used, and etc. I made sure to advertise OPOWS to my guests in case they want to work with a one-stop shop vendor haha. Thank you again Aggie and team! My wedding day was very memorable and filled with happy memories! NOTE: If you're Chinese and can speak some Cantonese, this would make communicating a lot easier. Aggie, her team, and the external vendors that she works with are Chinese. There was a slight language barrier when communicating with Aggie and the external vendors since my Chinese isn't that great haha. But overall, we were able to communicate and get through the wedding planning!

We paid extra for our photographer (Tang) and my MUA (Hera) was amazing. Hera was my main point of contact regarding any upgrades, questions, or changes to our package. While Hera was on vacation, I worked with Aggie to discuss and finalize the decorations of the venue. I picked out my potential dresses months in advance and Hera put them on hold for me as another bride was interested in one of the dresses I picked out. The MC and DJ were assigned a month before the actual wedding to discuss a song list and anything the MC needed to confirm and know in advance. Our MC was Jason and he was very lively and made the night more fun with his enthusiasm. The entire team was very patient and worked with me throughout the whole planning process as I had many questions and requests. I'm really glad I booked OPO because I didn't need to deal with additional vendors and could focus on what I really wanted for my wedding that OPO didn't cover. Everything came out amazing and I would highly highly recommend their service for anyone debating on booking a package for their wedding.

My husband and I had already found a venue prior to hiring Justina. After we found the venue, we were completely at a loss with where to start with the planning as it was overwhelming. But Justina removed this burden completely and she was so patient with us. One trait of Justina that we greatly appreciate is her transparency. Before we signed a contract with her, she was straightforward with us about her giving birth in the middle of the wedding planning process. Despite having to give labor in the middle of planning, Justina's continued to impress us with her clear communication on timelines and expectations. She only stepped away from about 2 weeks after labor and resumed with us; just WOW, we wanted to tell her that she should rest more. During the planing process, Justina handles all of the timelines, organization, and paperwork; which saved my husband and I so much time! Justina was especially a godsend for me, as I was working full-time and wrapping up my master's degree in the same year. We loved how she is prepared with templates for us to follow and takes notes of our every meeting. She is also extremely efficient and was conscious of our budget, and tries her best to help us stay within the budget range we specified. Justina has a lot of connections, so her recommendations were helpful and often helped us save time on researching more vendors. Furthermore, Justina is always willing to come out to meet in person when necessary, and she enjoys choosing fabrics and equipment for the wedding with you -- which we thought was so nice. One thing we also noticed is that all the vendors we worked with also had endless praises for Justina. When it came to actual wedding day, we were surprised by how smooth our wedding event ran. We were prepared to yolo things if things got out of handle, since we have heard a lot of stories from friends about how some of their weddings did not go as planned. Our wedding was a more complicated one as we crammed a lot of events during reception. As the bride, I had one outfit change, we had 7 toast speeches from family/friends, we played the shoe game, and had 3 musical performances prior to opening up the dance floor. Honestly, we did not expect to be able to go through with everything, but Justina made sure we were good on time and we were able to do everything we planned! We were so happy with our wedding and it was everything we expected. Thanks to Justina, we did not feel nearly as stressed out as we initially thought. Due to Justina's immense experience and professionalism, a daunting planning turned into a piece of cake. I would HIGHLY recommend Justina to everyone to plan their events. This review is seriously long overdue as our wedding was way back in October 2022 at Casa Real (my apologies for the delay!) Early on in our engagement, my husband and I were ambivalent on the idea of hiring a wedding planner. We had already chosen several of our main vendors and thought we could save money and handle planning our wedding on our own but we were mistaken.  We were soon overwhelmed with all the details and started to have decision-making fatigue so we decided to look for a wedding planner. After quite a bit of research we chose Justina/JL Events and we are so grateful we did! Her services were definitely worth the investment. We highly recommend Justina for wedding planning and coordination. She is professional but personable, trustworthy, and very easy to work with. She had great communication from the start and all throughout the preparation for our big day; her responsiveness was amazing. During our first meeting, Justina quickly identified our needs and vision and created a detailed timeline for our wedding planning. She helped us narrow down design choices and accompanied us to meetings with vendors. We were impressed by her organization and proactive approach! Having Justina as our planner helped alleviate much of the stress that comes with planning a large wedding (we had about 260 guests.) There were several instances in which we were frustrated dealing with unresponsive vendors but Justina was great at facilitating communication and even helped us find better companies to work with. Justina helped us stay on track during rehearsal day and was an expert problem-solver. She coordinated with our vendors and the staff at Casa Real with ease and was patient with us and our large wedding entourage. On the day of our wedding, Justina and her assistant Dana took such great care of us and we were able to enjoy our wedding celebration! Justina truly demonstrated her expertise with event coordination. We really appreciated her taking so many behind-the-scenes photos and videos, too!
