Erin was truly a godsend to my husband and I during the wedding process. Three months before the wedding we were majorly behind in planning. My sister was my bridesmaid and wedding planner and when she passed away I literally stopped doing all planning. When my husband and I contacted Erin in January for our March wedding at Ruby Hill, she told us about her teams Ruby Hill wedding package we knew Erin was the one for us. After meeting with us and figuring out where we were in planning she made a checklist of everything we needed to do to catch up and then made another one of important deadlines to make sure we were on track without feeling overwhelmed. We had 4 meetings on zoom to go over the checklist to see where we were at and also to go over the seating chart and wedding venue forms. Whenever we had questions we would email or text and get a response within minutes. Erin is the real deal!! We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding from 2021 to 2022, and Erin offered her insight and immediately managed the communication with all of our vendors to ensure a smooth transition. During the planning itself, Erin was genuinely happy to offer her honest opinions on what works well and what does not without being intrusive when we had to make a final decision. Erin is also very well connected with all sorts of local vendors such as rentals, cake/dessert, and entertainment. This means, we had monthly check-in, an hour phone call/via zoom, and on the side unlimited text messages/phone calls/emails exchange (if the Bride or Groom) had any questions throughout wedding planning process. TL/DR - Erin is a fantastic planner and coordinator! You'd be in excellent hands partnering with her for your wedding (or other event). My husband and I are two professionals in tech with a COVID puppy. After getting engaged, our priority was to minimize the stresses of planning a wedding during a pandemic, in less than 12 months. That meant hiring a planner! We interviewed 4 planners and landed on Erin because she was professional and fun, provided value to us during our consultation with ideas she thought would work well for our wedding, and her overall personality was a fit to work with us through the ups and downs of COVID wedding planning. --Side note: We went with her middle package (more than day-of, but not full planning). In retrospect, we wish we'd paid for full planning! She's that good and it would've taken more off our plate. If your budget allows, we recommend this to all our friends now. Erin really proved to be a great hire! One very important contribution was vendor recommendations. There are SO MANY professionals out there it can be overwhelming on your own, but Erin has a great idea of which vendors suited our particular vision. Our contract included contract reviews and some vendor management, which also helped us a lot! Towards the end, we were able to tell her changes we wanted (example extra linens) and she'd work with our rental company for us, saving us extra calls. She has some good organization tools to support you (i.e. lists and trackers). I was really impressed when it came to the day-of coordination stuff as she uses good software to manage this important information. When it came to weekend of coordination, she really outdid herself. My maid of honor said it was the most organized and tightly run rehearsal she'd ever been to! And on the day of the wedding, we trusted her and her team to handle any of the things that pop up. In fact, the wind picked up as I walked down the aisle and my veil got caught on my shoe. With my procrastination issues, I think it was just about 7-8 weeks before our wedding reception date (November 2019) that we met and hired Erin. In that amount of time, she was able to gather the ideas from my head and put them into actual progress of vendors to hire and deadlines to meet. (And, yes, my husband enjoyed everything too) I also want to add that there was a happy caveat to our reception... and Erin was the first to know the reason: I wouldn't be drinking alcohol because we had just found out I was pregnant. Erin was such an elemental part of our wedding planning process. She knew that I could own part of the planning responsibility but still needed guidance, references, someone with an eye for decor, a listening ear, and so many more things! Erin understood my needs and was a great partner. She made great recommendations that she knew I'd love and was also great at explaining why some of my ideas may not work - which is exactly what I asked for, her honesty. She's the expert, not me! Erin was the planner for our wedding and was absolutely amazing. We met her at a venue open house and really liked how nice and down to earth she was. I knew that getting help on planning our big day was probably the right way to go. So once we nailed down our date and booked our venue, we looked at wedding planners. We talked with a number of planners and Erin stood out as someone that was super easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and very responsive and helpful. Even though we live in different parts of the Bay Area, she was happy to meet with us to go over her services and what we envisioned for our wedding. We decided to book her for partial planning. Your planner is the person that you will spend the most time with in the months coming up to your wedding, and we are so glad that we picked Erin. She was always super supportive of what we wanted, very organized, had great advice, and was realistic with us about what would and wouldn't work well.. She went the extra mile meeting with us one-on-one as well as with some key vendors. She set up regular calls with us to go over how we were progressing and what our milestones should be. She helped make sure we were staying on track and encouraging us every step of the way. Her advice and recommendations aided us when making final decisions for other vendors. Erin ran our rehearsal and was the coordinator for our wedding day. She led the rehearsal smoothly, answering everyone's questions, and making sure we all knew what would happen. And she handled our wedding day with an unmatched professionalism, running everything smoothly behind the scenes and checking in with us to make the night go smoothly and according to plan. Our ceremony was outside and dinner inside--and while we planned to have cocktail hour and cake cutting outside, she wisely suggested we move those parts of the night inside and made it happen with minimal interruptions to us. Erin and her team are the best!! My partner and I are so immensely grateful to have worked with Erin on the later stages of our wedding planning. We got married on 9/15 and already miss our regular calls and emails with Erin! We found Erin and her team through our venue, Rengstorff House, after we had finished most of the large tasks (e.g., venue, DJ, lighting, rentals, catering) of our planning. We were hoping to find someone who could help us pull everything together and ensure that the actual wedding day went smoothly. Erin not only helped us with month-of and day-of coordination, but fielded to our questions and weird ideas from the minute we started working together in April. She was professional, personable, kind, friendly, trustworthy, and knowledgeable; she made us feel comfortable right away. Another huge bonus was that Erin personally knew many of the vendors that we were working with at Rengstorff House, and also had thorough knowledge of the layout of the venue. We had so many logistical questions ("where does this thing go??") that Erin answered in minutes, saving us a ton of time and stress. Throughout the planning process, Erin was open-minded and eager to hear our ideas. We always felt that we had the ultimate say in our decisions, and Erin would remind us that the wedding day was our (!) day, regardless of what certain traditions suggest. My partner and I planned our Bay Area wedding almost entirely from New York City, and Erin was wonderful to work with remotely. She was always responsive, flexible, and available by phone and email, even on days where we knew her schedule was hectic. Although we only met in person 2 days before the wedding, my partner and I felt like we had known her for years! Our families were also so impressed with her professionalism and timeliness during the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. Just as I thought, Erin and her team really delivered on our wedding day! There were a few logistical hiccups that arose when my hair and makeup took 1.5 hours longer than anticipated(!!!!!!!) Amazing! Erin is the real deal when it comes to wedding planner. My mother is a type A and also does events but for my wedding wanted to relax. Erin let her to just that. I never had a doubt or stress over how my wedding would turn out. I knew from the start I was in good hands. I can say Erin made my wedding the best!! I gave her the details of what I wanted and wow did she deliver. She had a timeline of the day and night and everything was on time from 7am-12am. That's when you know you got a great planner. If you're on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator to help with your rehearsal and day-of planning and logistics, my wife and I highly recommend doing so and choosing Erin. We got married in June 2012 at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio. Erin did an excellent job coordinating all our vendors during the months leading up to our wedding and during the crucial days right before. Erin made sure all our vendors were on time and handled all the last minute confirmations and details. My wife and I didn't have to think once about those details on our wedding day and were able to enjoy every bit of the celebration. She even happily handled a last minute request from one of our family members to have bubbles for after the ceremony.
