This is an overdue post, but I really want to thank Aggie, her team, and the external vendors that help my husband and I plan our wedding day! My wedding day wouldn't have been a success without their help! A while back, my friend told me that she used One Plus One Wedding Services (OPOWS) for her wedding in 2019. She had good things to say about them. My SIL's friend also used OPOWS, so I figured that if a few of my mutual connections have used this vendor, then I should work with them as well. Since I didn't have a wedding planner, going with a one-stop shop wedding services package was definitely a big help. It made my wedding execution seamless! I reached out to OPOWs about a year before my wedding date. Aggie is the main person who runs OPOWS. Aggie was super responsive with our conversations. She informed me about the wedding service package options. I decided to go with the Plus Package option which includes: photographer, videographer, wedding dresses (which I didn't use), Emcee, DJ (I gave the DJ our custom playlist since my husband and I wanted to pick our songs), hair and make-up artist, reception decorations, and chair covers. We scheduled to meet a few times before my wedding. Aggie was super helpful with providing recommendations and tips. I could tell that she really cares about her clients and wants to leave a good impression. Nearing my wedding date, she provided me with a run down schedule so that I could coordinate with her team and the external vendors that she partnered with. We made sure that my wedding day itinerary made sense. On the day of my wedding, I met most of my vendors in person. I was definitely stressed out because I always have this fear that something will go wrong. But to my surprise, all of my vendors did an excellent job on my wedding day. I could tell that they really enjoyed their job and tried to help me make the most out of my wedding day. Throughout the wedding and after the wedding, I received so many compliments from my guests in regards to the wedding decorations, the vendors we used, and etc. I made sure to advertise OPOWS to my guests in case they want to work with a one-stop shop vendor haha. Thank you again Aggie and team! My wedding day was very memorable and filled with happy memories! NOTE: If you're Chinese and can speak some Cantonese, this would make communicating a lot easier. There was a slight language barrier when communicating with Aggie and the external vendors since my Chinese isn't that great haha. One Plus One did an amazing job planning and executing our wedding! We booked the highest package since I was really interested in a package that included engagement photos and OPO had the most competitive prices. We paid extra for our photographer (Tang) and my MUA (Hera) was amazing. Hera was my main point of contact regarding any upgrades, questions, or changes to our package. While Hera was on vacation, I worked with Aggie to discuss and finalize the decorations of the venue. I picked out my potential dresses months in advance and Hera put them on hold for me as another bride was interested in one of the dresses I picked out. The MC and DJ were assigned a month before the actual wedding to discuss a song list and anything the MC needed to confirm and know in advance. Our MC was Jason and he was very lively and made the night more fun with his enthusiasm. The entire team was very patient and worked with me throughout the whole planning process as I had many questions and requests. I'm really glad I booked OPO because I didn't need to deal with additional vendors and could focus on what I really wanted for my wedding that OPO didn't cover. One Plus One Wedding Services had done an awesome, beyond our expectation, and very professional. We both live in the East coast and having a wedding in SF is difficult for us from planning to execute the plan. We had a full package for our wedding and i think that was the best decision ever. Our team consists of Ken (photographer), Hera (MUA), Aggie (wedding decor). Ken was our photographer for both pre-wedding and wedding photo. However, he gave us lots of advices during the planning as the point i thought he was our wedding planner. He did an exceptional job, very creative, very patient and diligent until he is satisfied with the pictures. He is always on time for communication. My wife was very pleased with Hera. She did an amazing job for both pre-wedding and wedding day for my wife. She truly listened to your need. Aggie was phenomenal with the decoration. She transformed the venue into a fairytale for us. One Plus One is the wedding service you want. From Makeup to Decorations to Photography to Emcee/DJ, everything was perfect! Because of my job, I'm so busy to take care of all these things and I just wanted to find a wedding service where I can completely trust them and be hands off. After looking at almost all the one-stop services in the bay area, I ended up with OPO after looking at their yelp, website, and meeting them. Coordinator (Fay) - My initial meeting was with Fay and after meeting him, I felt very comfortable. He was not like other coordinators I met where they just kept pushing you to sign the paper and pay deposit. He was very chill and laid back and was very accommodating to what kind of service we wanted. Also, thank you for being so patient with me as I made you change the contract 5x. ^__^ Makeup (Hera) - she was the makeup artist for me and she is so sweet and nice. I was very pleased with the makeup and hair she did for me for both the engagement photoshoot and wedding banquet. She really listens to you and tries her best to give you the makeup style you want. I told her I didn't want the usual asian wedding makeup because my skin was more tanned so she purposely spent nights testing out how to do the makeup I wanted on me. I was very pleased with it and received many compliments! Decorations (Aggie) - I love her style! I didn't really have anything in mind in terms of how I wanted to decorate the place so Aggie was very patient with me in trying to come up with something that I would like. I gave her a very hard task as I was not like other brides. Most brides had all these requests and well, I had none except a theme color in mind which was sky blue and white and that I wanted a simple, elegant design. In the end, I got so busy that I just gave her the theme color and general idea of what I wanted and got the best surprise on my wedding day. Everyone loved the decorations, especially the backdrop. My guests couldn't stop admiring it and taking pictures in front of it. Photography (Tang) - Tang goes above and beyond for photos. I remember for the engagement photoshoot, he was on his knees or laying flat on the ground just to help us take the photos. I felt really bad as his white T-shirt was completely filled with dirt at the end of it. The photos were just so wonderful and I was very pleased with it. He was very kind, very efficient and really knows how to capture the moment. I received the photos very quickly after the photoshoot. Emcee (Johnny) - I couldn't have asked for a better Emcee. I kept telling him, if I was to award the best Emcee ever, he would be the one. I've been to many chinese weddings before in my life, but never had such an amazing one like Johnny before. He really knows how to entertain and make my wedding lively, fun and joyous. I really want to thank One Plus One for the awesome job! During the last few weeks, we had a couple of changes and needed an extra make-up artist and DJ for a morning ceremony. They were easily able to accommodate, find the right people, and everything went on as planned. I can't wait to share my experience with you! We only planed our wedding for half year. We compared all the other wedding service, explored their website, watching their videos and engagement photos, we decided to try one plus one out. I still remembered the first day we met Fay. He is so kind and patient with us. The company opened for less then a year, all the dresses are new and the decorations are new. No matter how late I contact Fay, Hera and Aggie, they always answered my questions quick and helpful! My husband decided to take a set of engagement photos with them. Tang and Hera spent a whole day with us traveling around the city and took a lot of great pictures! I highly recommended photographer Tang, he is so professional and he catches all the natural, sweet moments for us! We love all the pictures so much! Due to my grandmother's health, my fiance (now husband) and I decided to plan our wedding in 6 weeks. We couldn't have done it with OPOWS. They were SO SO helpful in getting us ready for our wedding. Fai and his team did great. Through OPOWS, we were able to get our photography (by Tang), video (by Camri), makeup (by Hera), and emcee/DJ (KenKen) for the banquet. They also helped us print out/enlarge a photo for the entrance of our banquet, and our sign-in canvas as well. Although it's a one-stop shop, each service provided was in a league of its own. Even though the shop was established less than a year by the time we had our wedding in Sept. 16, the service was impressive and professional. It did an AWESOME job for my wedding! We walked in with skepticism as they are just open and new, but their willingness to help us and answer all the questions to keep us comfortable. The photographer is very dedicated to making every photo and moment the best they can have. We took the photo on a rainy day as kind of a theme, the photographer coordinated with us on it and he even get sick because of this and they are still have professionally handle it. They help answer all of the question with us even at very late night and response back promptly. All the crew members take full force and work hard on the wedding date to decorate and transform the restaurant inside into a very warm and complete different site and scene as it is like a complete place with huge backdrop, lighting, and projection light and sound.
