Her package included unlimited guidance via email, a few consultations, an on site meeting, as well as timeline creation and vendor communication etc. This was the perfect package for us because we wanted to plan some of our wedding day but did not want to hire a full planner. Prices are very reasonable and in my opinion worth every penny!! On our wedding day she set up all our decor and flowers! First off , let me just say that there's no such thing as a perfect wedding....but Blanca and her team sure made my wedding look flawless. Never was I interrupted by any of my vendors on my wedding day for silly questions, or concerns -- Blanca made sure of this and she made sure they all did their roles & duties to the fullest. If I could list all the things that she for me on my wedding day that was over and beyond - I would run out of space on yelp, but briefly I will say that by the end of the night I had SOOOO MUCH FUN, I danced my butt off, I lost my jimmy choo shoes somewhere in the venue, my bridal party and I brought a TONS of stuff to the venue that we needed to collect, and we were given an hour to practically collect everything and get off the venue premises. I turned to Blanca and with a snap of her finger she said " Everything is already done!" She escorted me to the limo and gave me a hug and told me that everything has been collected, she found my missing shoe, and reassured me that if I find anything missing the next day -that she will drive to the venue and look for it herself. In addition, she was even nice enough to offer to take my dog to the doggy hotel after his appearance in the ceremony. Luckily with some sweet talk and convincing, I was allowed to keep my dog on the venue for the entire reception. She made sure that he was well hydrated and fed, and even took him out for bathroom breaks. Blanca services is very affordable compared to other companies. She takes great pride in what she does and you definitely get a high level of Professionalism, Service, and Knowledge from her. She has great vendor contacts, and in fact I was able to get a huge discount on my linen rentals through Blanca. Blanca is worth every penny. Just remember ----You can not put a price tag on a night full of precious memories that you can cherish forever. Our first meeting with Blanca went really well. When I was initially looking for a coordinator, I didn't want anyone who would try to add too much of "their touch" to my wedding, but I also wanted someone who had some input to contribute. During my wedding planning, I didn't know what I was doing and my fiancé at the time knew that I needed to hire someone to help with the day-of so I wouldn't worry about anything on the day of the wedding. I am extremely happy that I did. We clicked with Blanca right away, but we did notice that her approach was fast and meetings were short. Blanca was one of our FAVORITE vendors from our wedding. She really did an amazing job from start to finish. First of all, we had a hard time finding linens for our colors because our color scheme is not a very common one... With our teal and silver colors, we were very specific about the shade of teal that we wanted. Blanca went out of her way to find a color that we would be happy with. She set up our linens well before we got there (she wasn't able to enter the room until 3pm and we arrived around 4pm--the room was done and she had already cleaned up and taken off). BEFORE/DURING INITIAL CONSULTATION: I was a bit wary about meeting Blanca since I see that a majority of her 5+ star yelp reviews are about her chair cover/linen businesses. A good friend hired Blanca for as their Day-Of Coordinator for a large Chinese wedding and couldn't be happier. We met for a complimentary consultation where she walked us through what her Day-Of service (which is capped at 20 hours) entails. Upon our request, she showed sample timeline, seating chart, and email communications that are involved for her Day-Of customers. She also gave us explicit example as to what her and her assistant will take care of on the day of the wedding. She does charge a mileage/travel fee for non-South Bay weddings. But she was very flexible in honoring the same quote that my friend had a year ago. Also, her quote was a rare WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) fee in which includes of tax. Best decision I made for my wedding. Working with Blanca was amazing! She is responsive, professional, and really cares about you and your big day. She went above and beyond on many occasions, taking the lead on managing the vendors and making sure all the small details were right, as well as creating a minute-by-minute timeline of all the events so everything went smoothly. What she did: consultation, reviewed vendor contracts, contacted all the vendors before the wedding to make sure everything was on track and managed payments, managed the rehearsal the day before, was available over phone and email for all random questions, created an event timeline and venue diagram as well as a detailed schedule, handled final payment distribution, finalized major details before the wedding, oversaw the ceremony and reception set up as well as helped set up the gifts, tables numbers, table arrangements (chargers, decor, floral, etc.) and reception area: gift area, escort cards, set up our pictures and guest book, etc., and was just there for us for whatever we needed on the actual day. We also had an awesome wedding coordinator from our venue but at the end of the day, you want someone to look out for your interests (not the venue). Blanca did just that- she was hired to make sure they day went off without a hitch and it was just great knowing that someone had your back, no matter what. When I first contacted Blanca through email. She had answered me right away. I already knew what I needed interms of linen/sash colors. I asked her if she can send me pictures, and she did right away. Since it was very short notice, she required a 50% deposit, the rest of the payment wil be given the end of the day of the event. The ribbon was the EXACT shade of purple I was looking for and no wrinkles on the chair covers! Blanca is a dream vendor. I did not have to worry about a thing. I don't know if I can put into words how amazing Blanca is. We hired her as our Day of Coordinator because we just wanted someone to deal with our vendors and set up our decorations so that we could relax on the big day, but Blanca gave us so much more than that. AMAZING! Blanca and her staff have been a pleasure to work with. I got married last month and I need to find someone to help out the day of my wedding. I am a super detailed person and I wanted my vision to come to life. After receiving a referral from another bride about Blanca (and a touch of elegance) I decided to give her a call. I could tell I was talking to a professional from our first conversation. She answered all my questions and was truly passionate about making my vision come to life. We worked on a timeline (many drafts) until it was perfect. Blanca even allowed me to drop off 5 large bins of decorations at her home (a week before the wedding) because I was afraid to leave them with the reception site. She went above and beyond my expectations. I went up to her a few times during our wedding with questions and she made things happen. I ask her to keep an eye out for our dessert bar table because we were afraid guests would get sticky fingers and start dessert without us. Blanca was the best coordinator a bride could ask for. For a detail oriented girl like myself, Blanca was the perfect fit for me. Upon our first meeting she was very organized and easy going which definitely helped me feel at ease. After expressing my concerns about her fees, she tailored the package to fit my budget. I used Touch of Elegance's Day-Of services which meant Blanca was pretty hands-off when it came to the planning of things which was perfect because by the time I met her 85% of the planning was complete. Regardless of the extent of our package, Blanca treated me and my vendors with the same amount of attention and care as I'm sure she would with any other client. She offered to call vendors and made sure to introduce herself and touch base with them all prior to the day. When it came to pre-wedding meetings she was very flexible with meeting with me and even drove the 2 hour journey just to visit the venue and walk through things with me to ease my worried mind.
