My husband and I received countless compliments on how smooth, organized, and beautiful our wedding was. Thanks to the incredible TDE team, I was able to enjoy the most perfect wedding day. Jessica: Jessica was our main point of contact throughout the planning process, and she was truly amazing. Whether we had questions or requests for the decorators, MC, DJ, day-of coordinator, photographers, videographers, or HMUA, she was always there to help. She was patient, kind, incredibly organized, and never made me feel like my questions were too much. Our Service Instruction worksheet was so detailed that every vendor knew exactly what to expect, which made the entire day run seamlessly. Decoration Team: The décor for both our ceremony and reception was absolutely stunning. Just two weeks before the wedding, I made a major change to our reception backdrop, and the team worked hard to bring my new vision to life. Jessica even arranged for me to see digital mockups after we discussed how important they were to me. Because of that, I was able to completely refresh the design from the inspiration I had shared over a year earlier. My advice: be as specific as possible about what you like and don't like--it really helps the decorators create your vision. Everything was executed beautifully. MC Eric: Eric was phenomenal! We specifically wanted a bilingual English/Vietnamese MC, and he exceeded every expectation. Even our hard-to-impress Vietnamese aunties and uncles couldn't stop complimenting him. He was charismatic, organized, and handled last-minute changes effortlessly. We had to adjust our timeline during the reception, including pausing photos and adding speeches, and he kept everything flowing naturally without awkward downtime. He also perfectly coordinated our unique sequence of dances with the DJ, making every transition feel seamless. DJ Otis: We didn't know who our DJ would be until the wedding day, and we were thrilled it was Otis! He absolutely nailed the music all night. The dance floor stayed packed until 11 PM because he knew exactly how to read the crowd. He mixed current hits with 70s-90s favorites that kept both younger guests and the older Vietnamese crowd dancing. The glow sticks and light-up glasses were a huge hit, and the energy never dropped. Day-of Coordinator Carina: Carina was incredible. She was warm, personable, and unbelievably organized. I thought my planning documents were detailed, but hers were even more thorough! She made me feel completely at ease leading up to the wedding and even drove to Pleasanton to run our rehearsal (an add-on that was absolutely worth it). Multiple vendors and family members commented on how efficient and organized she was. Photography & Videography: Our package included an engagement shoot plus two photographers and two videographers. Sam photographed both our engagement session and wedding, and his work was beautiful. We chose his light and airy editing style, and our engagement photos turned out amazing. On the wedding day, Sam and Christine were fantastic. They captured every moment while making us feel comfortable. One thing I'll never forget was how Sam noticed we hadn't had a moment to ourselves because of nonstop photos. He quietly pulled us away under the guise of a private reception reveal so we could enjoy a few peaceful minutes together. It was such a thoughtful gesture. I had a very positive experience working with TDE. It was easy to schedule a free consultation, where we first spoke with Otis, and could ask many questions up front before deciding to move forward. Otis was kind with great attention to detail from the start. Ultimately, we decided with the glam package and our contract was very clear to understand with cost breakdown for removal of specific services / add-ons. I updated it many times with Jessica, our planner, as we made changes throughout the months, and she was always so patient and clear. Our MC Otis did a wonderful job with maintaining flow of the program. Otis was also working as DJ for a good portion of the evening, so props to him! We had closer to an hour compared to 1.5 hours of open dancing because we were behind schedule, but everybody was on the dance floor and he kept the party going seamlessly. Weddings are hectic and there are so many moving parts; we did get behind schedule but we were still able to do everything we wanted to do. Our photo & video services were set to end, but Otis was very professional in discussing with us if we wanted to extend our video services, communicative on additional cost, at the moment. Our photographer, Ben, along with the team Stanford and videographer, Christina, were so fun to work with. Ben was great at providing direction, which is especially helpful since we were not used to posing. I have not received photo & video yet as it has only been a week, but from an experience standpoint, they were attentive to detail, communicative, and glided effortlessly through the event. My makeup artist, Vivi, is the sweetest person. She was super attentive to detail and my particular skin type. I was worried about makeup because I don't wear heavy makeup often. I ended up paying for a make-up trial, and I was so happy working with Vivi that I had no worries for the wedding day. We also added-on make up for our mothers, which Vivi did the morning of. The reception decor turned out so pretty! Everything was set-up as scheduled. I was really happy with the welcome backdrop and name sign. It was also great to take pictures with guests with the backdrop since we had time during cocktail hour. We asked TDE to incorporate a large screen as the backdrop of our sweetheart table, so we found an example from a previous wedding they did, and it turned out exactly as expected. We added the photo-booth, which was so popular with the guests! There were so many cool props and our guests were having tons of fun with it. I also sent TDE a custom drawing that I wanted for the photo strips- and it turned out just like I imagined. We chose Grand Dynasty as our reception venue, and TDE communicated set-up details with our restaurant event manager, Esmond, in the days leading up to the event. We had the pleasure of having TDE for our wedding services. We're absolutely thrilled with how are big day turned out, thanks to the TDE team member's superb communication and coordination process. Our taskmaster Jessica was super helpful and responsive to our questions and she did a good communicating our vision with the rest of the TDE team. Otis was our officiant and MC and he did a good job facilitating the ceremony and reception. We had a minor hiccup with the boutonniere mix ups and he reassured us they will make things right and got the right boutonnieres for us during the reception. Carina was our day of coordinator and she was stellar on our wedding day, everything was executed exactly the way we envisioned, we didn't have to worry about a thing on our big day. Sam and his photography team did an amazing job, we really like how our photos turned out, they're certainly memories that will last for a life time. When discussing the different options and plans, we ended up choosing the Al La Carte services for their photographer, videographer, DJ, and Emcee. We had our wedding in late May and went with the Glam all-inclusive package with a few add-ons. Overall, it was a pleasure working with the entire team. Jessica managed our emails and did majority of the planning, Otis was our MC, Stuart was our DJ, Carina was our day-of coordinator, Francis did my makeup, Ben was our photographer, and Tango was our videographer. This was a few months ago so I hope I got all the names right. We also had a photo booth and an attendant from TDE, who was great to work with. Jessica was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. The templates and resources that TDE provided, including examples for design, photobooth photo layouts, and more, were very useful and helped guide a lot of our decisions. I really enjoyed working with Jessica. She was kind and communicative, even though we changed our minds a lot during the months leading up to the wedding. TDE also made our welcome sign and seating chart and customized it to our specifications. Wanted to note that we loved our decorations! Otis, our MC, was clear and easy to work with. He kept the evening flowing well and brought great energy to the event. He also speaks multiple languages, and although most of our wedding was in English, our parents and other guests appreciated the Chinese translations. Got some compliments on Otis from guests as well. Stuart, our DJ, met with us in advance to go over music clips and played our curated dinner playlist exactly as we had discussed. The entrance songs for our family and wedding party were timed well and went off without a hitch. Carina kept everything on track the day of the wedding. She helped print custom mini-menus for guests with dietary restrictions and made sure we were fed, calm, and mostly on schedule. Her support behind the scenes made a big difference. Francis was easily the best makeup artist I've ever worked with. I've been a bridesmaid eight times and no one else has come close. She has a great eye for enhancing Asian features and created two beautiful looks for me, one for the tea ceremony and another for the reception. I felt amazing and received so many compliments on both my hair and makeup. I also did a makeup trial with her about a half year before the wedding and she gave me options and advice which was very helpful so that I knew I was in good hands for the big day. Ben, our photographer, was great at giving direction and made us feel comfortable, especially during the tea ceremony when we weren't entirely sure what to do. The photos turned out beautifully, especially the outdoor shots. We did notice we were edited to look a little pale, but that's just one style and we still really enjoyed our photos. Tango, our videographer, delivered both a highlight reel and a longer documentary-style video. The quality was excellent and exceeded our expectations. I was very happy with how everything was edited and presented, especially considering some videographers charge twice the price for less impressive results. We received our photos about six weeks after the wedding and the video around two months later. We were happy with this timeline during their super busy wedding season. Our photobooth photos were ready about a day after the wedding. Our florals were also spot on for what we wanted, fresh, and very well done. Why not five stars? There were a couple disappointments on the dance floor. We spent a lot of time putting together a playlist for dancing, but most of the songs we included were not played. There's a note in the planning template that the DJ may not play all songs and will match the tempo for the playlist, but I still figured if we made a 2 hour playlist, at least half of the songs (especially if cut) will be played during the 1.5 hours. Instead, we heard a lot of mainstream tracks not on the playlist played in full. I later heard that there were a number of song requests from guests, and it seemed like Otis and Stuart were accepting them. The final song of the night was unfamiliar to me (later found out from Otis it was a request from early in the night) and when I asked to skip it, they did not right away. They eventually played one more final song and gave us a personal apology in person and by email, which I appreciated. I'm also grateful they asked for feedback after the wedding and met to discuss and improve based on it. Overall, I would totally recommend TDE to be your full service wedding provider! I'm super happy we got the package with TDE for our big day; saved us a lot of trouble for finding individual vendors and the quality of everything was very worth the price. read more

Overall, amazing experience with TDE and highly recommend! We needed a Cantonese-English bilingual day-of-coordinator and MC for our wedding in Sacramento, and we decided to go with Carina (coordinator) and Jackson (MC). Although we did not purchase a full package from TDE, Carina and Jackson worked seamlessly with the rest of our chosen vendors. They (and the TDE team) were extremely organized, communicative, and supportive. One thing I really appreciated was that my husband was cc'd on every single email so that I wouldn't have to play middle man to relay every message to him as well. My makeup artist was Francis, who is incredibly talented at what she does. I learned that she previously owned a beauty school in her home country, where she taught others the art of makeup. She is very easygoing, loves to have fun, and isn't afraid to try new looks. Although her portfolio may not be extensive, she truly made me feel like a beautiful bride on my big day! All of my bridesmaids loved their makeup as well! Sam and his amazing team, along with CG and Christina, went above and beyond as our photographers and videographers. To this day, my husband and I can't stop complimenting how amazing they all were. We are not naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but Sam's guidance and humorous personality made the experience smooth and enjoyable. On the wedding day, we fell behind schedule and didn't have time to go to the Palace of Fine Arts for photos. Sam and his team immediately came up with a backup plan. Their positivity and great energy truly stood out. Even when things didn't go as planned, they handled everything with smiles on their faces. We just had our wedding and purchased the lite package with TDE with additional add-ons like the MC and extra hours for photographer and videographer. I would say TDE is the most reasonably priced compared to other vendors and their service on our wedding day exceeded our expectations. Weddings are very, very complicated to handle and the TDE team and our main contact Jessica was so organized and helpful to remind me on every small detail needed. Otis was also a great and hilarious MC for our wedding and our family and friends had a wonderful time. What I wish I did was hire their wedding coordinator because it definitely would've relieved a lot of stress from us and they are so well organized! Our florals were beautiful and in line with our theme and my bouquet looked just like the ones I had saved from Pinterest, down to the exact florals I requested. The decorating team on our wedding day did an excellent job setting up our arch, sweetheart table, cake table, sign in table, etc, and we received so many compliments from our guests. I am also extremely grateful to have Francis as my makeup artist. I did the makeup trial with her and I knew right away during the trial that I made the right choice. I don't typically wear a lot of makeup and Francis worked with me to help me discover the most flattering makeup styles based on my facial features. We had to do hair and makeup for 8 of us, and Francis along with two of her assistants did an excellent job making everyone look and feel their best on our wedding day. There were no issues with timing and everyone was done on time without any part of the process being rushed. Francis made me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day and she went above and beyond as a hair/makeup artist because she also helped me with my outfit changes, fixed my train, and held my veil as I was walking around the venue for photos. My now husband and I begin working with TDE early February 2023 for our wedding day on January 6, 2024. The early stages of my wedding planning experience prior to working with TDE was extremely chaotic. I would receive multiple emails a day and quite frankly, I lost track of who I was speaking with. My husband began looking for all inclusive packages and came across TDE. We had our introductory call with Otis and we were immediately drawn to the organization of the wedding planning style. SF Bay Area is extremely diverse and Otis learned about our Asian versus Westernized approach to the wedding. All staff had such a rich and thorough understanding of Chinese wedding traditions, which is extremely helpful for ABC's in the Bay Area. For example, I told Francis many times that I want a half updo with my qipao, but she was persistent that Chinese brides have updos for the best look. I was anxious about time management, but she assured me that she will work with me so we have the best photos. I had my make up trial with her in March and she provided skin care advice for me to prepare for our big day! We also had the pleasure of working with Jackson, our MC who was able to cater towards my English and Cantonese speaking guests. Jackson was very flexible with our timeline, extremely approachable, and kept my guests entertained. We never met Jessica, but she plays such an important role in wedding planning! She is extremely prompt with email responses and thorough with all of your inquiries. She has strong communication skills within her team and keeps you on track of your wedding timeline. We did not meet our photographers and videographers until the day of. They were all extremely punctual and utilize their expertise to adapt to the environment and accessories I had available. Overall, I also appreciate that TDE staff are open to sharing their opinions. I had a circular backdrop but they advised us towards a different design when they realized there were high ceilings at my venue. TDE made wedding planning extremely smooth. I took a week off of work before my big day, but ended up going to work since it was fairly stress-free days before the event. I'm the first one my generation within my family to host a wedding reception and everybody had a wonderful time. I was really excited to work with TDE, but if I could do it again, I would choose another company. They do have some amazing assets such as Jessica who will answer all of your emails and coordinate with different teams, and Otis who is an incredible incredible MC. Received lots of compliments about Otis from my guests! It always feels strange to ask someone you don't know to MC your wedding, but I wanted all my guests to enjoy themselves, and Otis really brought the party to life and kept everything very organized. If you're looking for an MC, 100% book Otis! I'm glad I at least got a great MC from TDE, because I booked them mainly for the elegant decor I saw online, which ended up being disappointing. TDE unfortunately lacks an eye for design and attention to detail. I was unable to be present for the reception set up because our photos ran late, and I trusted the team to carry out my vision, but there were a lot of details that were off, which ended up ruining the majority of the photos we took that night. I'm writing this review 7 months later because I get upset every time I look through my wedding photos, and we paid a lot for TDE. 1) The theme was all white so I paid $1000 extra for an extended all white backdrop for behind the sweetheart table to cover almost the whole wall, but the team placed two black speakers and a light right in front of the backdrop. So instead of having the glamorous all white wall we paid extra for, jarring black speakers were in all of our first dance photos, and right in between us while we were cutting the cake. Big yikes. They could have at least moved it forward to have distance from the backdrop or covered the bottoms with white. If this was the only way, it should have been brought up during planning. It still bothers me months after, and is the main reason why I'm writing this review because the equipment in all of the photos makes me cringe. I'm working on photoshopping them out. 2) The photo backdrop we rented from TDE was not centered with the wall that had our names on it, so our names were cut off in all the photos. I shared this plan with them beforehand, but they dropped the ball ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 3) Despite the all white theme, I walked in to all of the clear patron bottles we bought for each table still in their bright green boxes because the decorators thought it would "look nicer". I told them to please remove all of the boxes. 4) My husband's boutonnière was gigantic. Like huge. Wouldn't have been a good fit on anyone. Everyone noticed. My bridesmaids had to pluck the petals to make it more tasteful. I wish I could have better things to say about TDE because I was excited based on their yelp reviews and their familiarity with the venue I chose. I also really enjoyed working with Otis and Jessica, so I'm disappointed with this result. I didn't think I needed to be there to direct TDE on how to decorate since that's what I paid them to deliver. We hired TDE to set up a floor to ceiling drapes for a pretty large and tall wall at Grand Palace Seafood Restaurant for our New Year's Eve wedding. They also added led candles and a table skirt for our head table. They handled all communication with the restaurant to ensure setup and cleanup went smoothly. The drapes really brought the space to the next level. Their styling of the drapes and their communication through the entire planning process were impeccable. We wanted tear down to happen after midnight to enjoy the countdown, and they were able to make it happen. Very professional company! read more

I'm so grateful for the TDE team and their services for our wedding in January. It literally would not have been possible without them. My husband and I planned a 180 person intercultural wedding in 6 months' time and was only able to execute because of TDE. Special thanks to Jessica (our account manager), Jackson (our MC), Carina (our day-of-coordinator), Francis (our hair & MUA). We went with the glam package so alot of services were already included, such as photobooth, photo, video, DJ, lighting, some florals, and decor. The ceremony & reception backdrops were amazing - we got so many compliments about it. I also loved the lighting, it made everything feel so special. I love Francis, she was so patient during our trial & she arrived early for the day-of and stayed sooo many hours. Everything turned out beautifully. Jackson was fantastic as an MC - we did a few "nontraditional" reception concepts and he was very engaging with the audience. Some things to note: - pay attention to what's included in your contract as anything that's not on there will be extra (e.g. speakers, centerpieces, backdrops) - we had some minor issues with the photobooth print outs (colors were off) but they were able to remedy - our digital photos & videos turned out nicely (very "classic" style), though some of our photos ended up a bit green hue for some reason - this is not a full planning service, unless you select that as an option! read more

I initially booked them for the bilingual emcee, but grew to appreciate how this company did everything else as well! -Wedding planning (Jessica): 5/5 There must have been more than 200 email interactions between me and Jessica as we planned this wedding for a year. She is quick to respond and has a lot of insight since she's done so many. She is the only contact for all TDE vendors. -Photo (Sam/Danielle) / Video (Christina/George): 4.5/5 When you book with TDE, they assign a photo and video team immediately. I didn't book a pre-wedding photo session with them so I didn't get to meet or talk to them until the morning of my wedding. They were very professional and hard-working. I almost gave up on sunset photos because I was running a bit late but they convinced me to do it and I am grateful for that. Some photos were angled weirdly and it had the speakers and lights in the photos/videos. Lastly, although they never said they would, they didn't send me any sneak peek photos or video clips. I was told the final photos and videos would take about 6-8 weeks, but with so many other friends getting sneak peek photos after 1-2 days, I was hoping they would do this. I did ask for a few photos ahead of time for my thank you cards and that only took them 3 days to deliver five photos. -HMU (Francis and two assistants): 5/5 Francis is top-notch. I paid for all of my bridesmaids and the mothers, so it was 7 additional people but she was flexible in getting us all done on time. She also had hair pieces and jewelry that she let me borrow for the day. Her assistants aren't as good as her, but Francis was able to fix it upon request. -Emcee (Jackson): 5/5 We booked TDE for a Chinese/English emcee and Jackson nailed it. We met him a few weeks before the wedding. My family said he was entertaining and made some funny talking points. -DJ (Stuart): 5/5 everyone complimented our DJ. My husband and I kept shortening our first dance song even up until 2-3 days before the wedding, and Stuart was flexible with this. -Photobooth (Ku): 4/5 I extended to 4.5 hours to allow for the entire reception. At some point, it ran out of paper so this caused the photobooth to not work for some time. But while refilling the paper, they didn't tell anyone that they could continue to take photos. It wasn't until I asked when it would be back up, that they said "oh you can continue taking photos and it'll print once the new paper is in." But when you see people working on the system, you assume it isn't working. I wish they let the guests know this when it went down earlier so the guests can continue with it. -Decor: 5/5 they decorated my sweetheart backdrop, ceremony backdrop, tea ceremony backdrop, seating chart mirror, and welcome table. Everything looked beautiful and I got a lot of compliments. -Florals: 4.5/5 they did my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, cake florals, and family boutonnières. The boutonnières were harder to pin on. I also wanted anemones but they could never definitively tell me yes or no about the anemones until the week of, and I ended up not being able to get them so that was a bit disappointing. They were still pretty though. In the end, I am glad I went with TDE. There are a few things that could have improved, but these are minor and could happen with any other vendor. TDE was hands down one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding planning process. From their professionalism to always going above and beyond, each and every single member of the TDE staff contributed in helping me have a perfect wedding. The process was very straightforward. My husband and I chose the Glam Package and we were set up with Jessica as our event coordinator. We worked with Jessica on the scheduling, deciding at what time certain staff members would show up, and for the timing of the event. The most convenient part about this process was we only had to coordinate with Jessica and she would then coordinate with the TDE staff. Instead of figuring out what is the best time for the decorators, photographer, makeup artist, etc should show up or confirm with multiple vendors on their availability, we just had to confirm with one person. Jessica was extremely flexible with all of our requests and was always willing to let us substitute items or change our schedule around (we had a lot of changes, we're indecisive people). Jessica would always be on top of it and make sure that everything was done. On the day of the wedding, the setup crew arrived on time and did a great job with the wedding decoration. My husband and I and all of our guests were blown away by the job TDE did. Francis, our makeup artist for the day, truly went above and beyond. She did a great job with my makeup, and even assisted my husband with putting on his bowtie, cufflinks and corsage. Sam, our photographer, went above and beyond with all of the picture requests we had. We took so many pictures that by the end of the day I was "pictured out." I didn't even think that was possible. He brought his own equipment, lighting, and had all the tools needed for a professional photoshoot. It definitely was worth it. Despite it being super early (it was still dark outside at 5am) and my living room not being very big, Francis and her two assistants arrived early and was able to set up three makeup stations in my small living room. Her team worked quickly and effectively to finish the hair and makeup for ten girls in 4-5 hours and everyone was very happy with their looks. The artists were very easy going because my mom felt very comfortable getting her hair and makeup done professionally for the very first time in her life. Francis was super prepared with variety of fun accessories to match my hair and makeup looks and I loved that! I feel very fortunate to have Francis at my wedding because it was super hot at the venue location and Francis worked very quickly to refresh my look for each of my three outfit changes. Last but not least, the decor team at TDE delivered beautifully on the details that we discussed with Jessica in our planning worksheet. We were very pleased to see that the whole organization has great communication in order to carry out our visions into reality. One of the major highlights was that I had a specific vision for how I wanted the arch design to be. I took reference photos from the Internet and shared with Jessica, who worked with the decor team to create mockups and share the iterations with me. I would give ten stars to TDE Wedding if I could for creating the wedding of our dreams. From the moment of our first intake call, TDE stripped away all the intimidating, stressful aspects of our wedding so that the planning phase was as easy as possible. We chose the Glam package and opted to add on a couple of a la carte services (such as engagement photos and engagement hair/make up). All in all, I feel like we had an excellent deal for the amount of services we received from TDE. First of all, Jessica was amazing - I probably had hundreds of emails spanning the months we worked together. Her responses were always prompt and it was clear that she spent a lot of time organizing all the little details and coordinating all of our services. The TDE decorating team did an absolutely flawless job with the decorations and florals for our wedding. We were stunned by our sweetheart table decorations. Our photography and videography team were also incredible. They totally captured the style we wanted for our wedding photos. We worked with Sam both for our engagement photoshoot and at the wedding and he did a great job of putting us in poses, finding the perfect backdrops for our photos, and putting us at ease when we felt nervous about getting photographed. A HUGE shout out to Carol and her make up team. Carol was absolutely spectacular, and my family and I regularly call her the "MVP" of our wedding day. Not only did she do my hair and make up along with my mother's hair and make up (and my mom got many compliments throughout the wedding day that she looked years younger than she actually was hehe), but she also did many touch up's even outside of the scheduled windows when she was supposed to do touch up's. She even made sure I had a beer in hand immediately after our ceremony and assisted the photography team in rounding up all our relatives for photos so we could blast through family portraits so my husband and I could head off for our golden hour photos. She also let me borrow the hair pieces I wore throughout the wedding day. Seriously, I cannot praise her enough and I think she was the most valuable asset to our wedding day. Jessica has been helping my husband and I plan our 6/18 for about a year. We've exchanged emails daily, if not multiple times a day. After attending multiple bridal fairs, we just didn't find any vendors that really stuck out to us so at a dead end, we decided to ask our reception venue manager for recommendations & TDE was one of them. We were already considering another one stop shop vendor but they weren't very good at responding and many times the emails were full of typos and bad grammar. We set up a meeting with TDE and after some consideration and trying to reach the other vendor with no avail, we went with TDE as our sole vendor for our wedding. The other driving point was that they do so many weddings at our reception venue, that it was pretty much a no brainer to go with them. TDE did everything from our engagement photos, wedding photos/videography, ceremony decor, DJ, MC, photobooth, makeup & hair, etc. I love how organized they are and everything for the wedding is documented on the word doc. That word doc aka SI to them was my bible and I referred back to it everyday before the wedding to see what action items was I still missing and what has already been done. We picked the diamond package, it was pricy but it was worth it because they streamlined everything for us and made sure we are always on the same page. Sam and Ben are awesome photographers and we felt very comfortable with them. They're very personable people who have great eyes for shots. I especially liked Sam because he was funny and always remained calm and went with the flow even when there are stressful and crazy stuff happening. For an example, I was trying to figure out where the easel was to hold up my canvas photo and do other stuff at the same time and I ended up handing over the canvas to Sam to hold for a "second". A second probably turned into a good 10 minutes but he didn't complain and instead said, "it's okay I'll model it for you like this" haha what a great guy! Alice was my makeup artist and she was very sweet and very patient. I liked working with her a lot. She even babysat my puppy for me during the whole reception! She was very fast and would get me in and out of my outfits really quickly and fix my hair and makeup. I really applaud her for all the hard work she did! I'd ask for her to be your MUA if you go with TDE. Jessica is awesome at her job and she was top of her shizz! I probably emailed her like a million times and she would be quick to answer, she even answered me on her day off! She's an extremely hard worker who handled everything logistic wise for us and without her, we probably wouldn't have be able to do our wedding in such a short amount of time! She always had updates for me, whether it was if my flowers were in stock or if the timeline is not realistic. She'd give me her honest opinion and suggestions and they were really helpful. Otis was our MC and he was amazing. We went off the agenda so much but he was calm and was really good about getting us back on time or trimming something to make up for lost time. He's fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese so he was perfect for our Chinese wedding. He was great with his composure and adaptability to our crazy amount of tea ceremonies and family member names to be named off. He was on top of it and helped moved everything fast fast fast one after the other. In midst of all the chaos, he was always sweet even to ask if we are okay and if we need a break or need anything else. After the wedding, he also chased us down to give us our custom gobo disc! The decor for our wedding was amazing! Our guests were talking about how nice everything looked! The photobooth was cute, I didn't have time to play with it but my guests had tons of fun! TDE provided lots of props. I wasn't really digging the gray background as you could see the wrinkles in the back. Go with the black curtain instead. You can pay an additional amount to customize your photostrips, my husband and I decided to go with 2 different designs, which were two of our favorite photos from our engagement session. Both strips were superrrrr cute!!! I was just bummed I couldn't get a photo when the new template changed. Def go with customizing your strips because it's basically your wedding favor and it makes it much more memorable for your guests! I highly recommend using TDE as your vendor for your wedding! Wedding planning is stressful as hell, make it easier on yourself and book professionals who knows what they're doing! They do everything under one roof so you don't even have to deal with the headache of managing multiple vendors and making sure every one of them gets there at the same time. During these tough COVID times to try to plan anything like a wedding, TDE actually had to deal with us cancelling not once, but two times before finally getting our special evening planned out and ready to go. TDE provided a complete package that included the MC/DJ, decorations and photography!
