We worked with Amazae from the moment we knew we wanted to get married (before we got engaged, technically. Ha). Both of us are extremely busy re: our jobs and knew that we wouldn't be able to dedicate enough time to truly planning an event of this scale. If you're on the fence, go with Amazae. My husband, before we hired Amazae, was on the fence of whether or not we needed planning services. I told him that if we did not hire someone that there would be no wedding. By the time we had finished our venue search, he knew that I was totally right re: the amount of help you get by leveraging someone else's expertise. You do this once (hopefully) in your life. Amazae does this all the time. Amazae knew all the ins and outs of every venue that we could possibly think of in the Bay Area, Carmel, and Napa. They were able to tell us who was beer and wine only, who had a 10pm end time because of noise ordinances, and who required you to use certain caterers that were $x per head. This will save you SO much time and save you visits to random places that don't meet your requirements. Vendor sourcing - they are super good at this re: figuring out (or making you figure out what you like) who matches your style for every vendor, then finding one that fits in your budget. Most importantly, they will make sure everyone shows up (join any wedding FB group and read some horror stories). They will help you with all of the contracting and the collection of COIs, etc. Again, this would have been IMPOSSIBLE for myself and my now husband. We literally do not have the hours in the day to do this. This team is on top of everything - they will chase you down if they need to for answers for pieces of your event. They can make anything happen - from the weirdest requests to the most mundane. They are so professional, and they really make your wedding super personal. Amazae designed and executed a beautiful event from beginning to end that felt so authentic to us. Day of, they were there to take care of everything, and it was truly a flawless day. We could not asked for a better planner re: Crystal, Kaila, and the rest of the team. We put full trust in them re: the design of this event and the day of. Example: I honestly did not know what florals were going to be there, but they were so stunning. The strength of the Amazae team is in their ability to bring you and your personality into an event that is mostly structured a certain way. They also make your day as stress-free as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about this team and their ability to make your wedding great. If you're down to hand things off to someone else, I would say hand it off to them. Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard, even a micro-wedding. You don't want to be cake tasting or menu tasting, so you rely on experts. That's why we decided to hire an event planner for our daughter's wedding in January 2021. Even though it was a small backyard wedding, we wanted it to be memorable and elegant. We interviewed 3 different event planners, and got 3 rough quotes, all around the same ballpark. Amazae's quote, however, was the most detailed, breaking down a high & low range for each item (food, florals, rentals, photography, etc.) It was an easy choice to contract with them. Crystal came onsite for our first meeting, and I really didn't have a lot for her to go on. My daughter isn't the Pinterest type, so I just told Crystal the wedding colors and showed her pictures of the wedding gown and bridesmaid gowns. The rest of the planning was all done via zoom, emails, and a few phone calls. We worked mostly with Caitlin, who is an amazing planner. Each step along the way, she gave us several options to choose from. For example, she provided a list of 4 photographers, their quote for the day, their profile, their gallery, etc. Once all of our choices were made, she put together a design deck that gave us a preview of the entire wedding. It was more gorgeous than I envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Lisa came out to set everything up. She even picked up the florals and wedding cake to save us the delivery fees. It was a little hectic when I met her, and I probably spent 5 minutes with her showing her where everything was before we left for the church ceremony. And when we came back, she was driving off, leaving behind a magical transformation of yard. Everyone was stunned. The catering crew then took over and prepared a "Top Chef" level meal. And when they left, my kitchen was as clean as when they arrived. My husband commented, "Whatever we paid for this wedding, it was worth every penny." Haha. True. With all of the graduation events going on, we just didn't have the energy to plan a party, yet we still wanted to celebrate our daughter so we hired Amazáe to help. After only 2 meetings with Amazae, they determined our needs and designed a party that turned out perfectly . On the day of the party , the Amazae team was absolutely amazing . We hired Crystal and team for our big wedding in the Bay Area - they planned and designed both our pre-wedding (Sangeet) and wedding events back in Oct 2019! From my very first consultation meeting, I knew Crystal was the perfect planner for our wedding events! She is incredibly professional, warm, and has lots of experience with Indian weddings. I interviewed a few planners in the Bay Area, but Crystal's professional nature, expertise, and creative eye really stood out. As any South Asian bride knows, planning a wedding for 300+ people is not an easy task. Crystal, Caitlin, and Nashley were always available to answer any last minute questions via text / call and were willing to problem-solve any issues along the way. They all go above and beyond to make sure the bride and groom are truly happy! For example, I mentioned early-on that I loved tulips; Crystal arranged to have tulips flown in from abroad to the wedding (which was such a nice surprise for me)!  3) Very organized and professional! Each meeting had a clear set of agenda topics and key questions. My fiance and I both had demanding schedules the year of the wedding, and Amazae kept us on track. Caitlin was great at always checking in to make sure we were on the right timeline - their team handled so many key projects (e.g., creating and mailing our save the dates, seating charts, working with all vendors, and handling any vendor issues). For example, we found out that our Sangeet venue did not allow outside caterers to use their kitchen only two months prior to the wedding! I know this is a long read, but worth it! This review has been a long time coming, and in the spirit of being grateful, I want to start with how grateful I am for the Amazae team. I honestly don't even know where to begin as so many positive experiences run through my mind when I look back at my experience with Crystal, Caitlin, & the team at Amazae. When my fiance and I got engaged, I knew that I needed the help of a talented team to help us execute our wedding weekend (We hired them for 3 events). We live in Sacramento and our wedding was in the bay area. On top of that, we had about 400 guests and I knew that having help was a necessity! My fiance let me take most of the reigns on the planning which I was very appreciative of (he had his 2 cents in the music and food, so everyone was happy). When I met with Amazae, there was an instant connection. And sure, part of that has to do with the chemistry of personalities, but more so, I felt heard, I was being asked the right questions, I saw that they understood my vision, and I could see that they were very able to execute. For someone like myself, who likes to have control over everything, feeling this comfortable to allow them to take the lead was a big deal. I also knew that in order for everything to be efficient, I had to be ok with them handling all the coordination, and I felt 100% secure with their team taking the planning into their own hands (though I'm sure I had a few "moments" of eagerness, they never made me feel like I was stepping on any toes). Everything during the planning process was such a breeze on my end. I think we met a total of 4 times from start to end with few emails in between. In that time, we were able to review decor (minute details included), food, timeline, budget, deal breakers, etc. They handled all of the correspondence with every vendor and I hardly had to, if even at all, need to have any interaction. They coordinated EVERYTHING! I honestly feel as though having the Amazae as my team was the best investment I made for that whole weekend, such a blessing! When it came to the wedding weekend. I was blown away with how smoothly everything went. If there was an issue, I never even knew about it. I wasn't stressed at all, which if you know me, you know how anxious I can get in these types of situations, so that was huge, and it's a testament to how comfortable I felt with their team. I was able to fully take in the day and that was very important to the whole experience (they even coordinated locations with my hair & make up team in the AM-- They're extra!). When I say they got my vision, that was the biggest understatement. The decor was UNBELIEVABLE it was so gorgeous. They even added some extra touches to detail that just amplified the space that much more. I literally cried when I walked into the ceremony and reception halls and couldn't believe how beautiful everything was. They literally made my wedding dreams come true, and the best part, was that they made it so easy, and so streamlined. Pure perfection. (Note: our wedding took place in February 2020, prior to the Covid shutdowns) My husband and I had a 2-year engagement and we both thought that was PLENTY of time to plan our wedding on our own. We were wrong. After attempting to juggle all the work of researching venues, communicating with vendors, scheduling meetings, dress shopping, etc., we were burnt out and overwhelmed. We even contemplated eloping. Finally, we made the decision to hire a wedding planner and we NEVER looked back. We did a ton of research on Bay Area event planners but with the recommendation of our venue, Casa Real, and our initial meeting with Amazae, we knew they were the one. The services they offered were EXACTLY what we were looking for: Event Design (to put our vision together) and Logistics/Coordination (to manage our vendors and coordinate on our wedding day). Most importantly, their team were total pros. They knew our venue inside and out, and had long-standing relationships with most of our vendors. We left our first meeting feeling SO relieved and also excited for what was to come. We worked with Crystal on Event Design and were so impressed with what she came up with! I shared my Pinterest board of all my wedding inspo and she drafted a booklet of what our ceremony and reception would look like. She gave options for things to sign off on, telling us how much they would cost us, and her recommendations. It was so good to have someone do this research and all we had to do was make the decisions! The execution on the day of the wedding was FLAWLESS. It was 100x better than anything we or Pinterest could have come up with! We held back tears during the first look of our reception because we couldn't believe how beautiful it turned out. It felt so romantic and elegant - everything we could have possibly dreamed of. Crystal is extremely talented and has an excellent eye for design. She is SO GOOD at what she does (words my husband and I said after every meeting!) and we couldn't be happier with how she brought our vision to life! For Logistics & Coordination, we worked with Caitlin and Amy. Prior to our wedding, Caitlin kept us on top of our deadlines and managed all of our vendors. This was a HUGE help because we no longer had to communicate with multiple vendors and remember payment dates - they took care of all of it! They were incredibly helpful during our final meetings with our venue and our rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, we had Caitlin, Amy, and Lisa as part of our day-of coordination team. Amy was with the bridal party and I for the entire day, and she had such a calming presence about her! Not once did I feel stressed or nervous. Her, Caitlin, and Lisa managed everything behind the scenes but kept it so calm, cool, and collected. They checked on us throughout our reception and made sure everything was flowing smoothly. At the end of the night, they handled packing everything up and let us enjoy celebrating with our family and friends. Without a doubt, they were the best team to have on our wedding day! If you are questioning whether or not you need a wedding planner, my answer is YES and to go with Amazae! It truly felt like a wedding gift that we gave ourselves. I have been a client of Crystal's since 2010 (the time of my first review), and she has never disappointed. Since then, I have engaged with her on 10+ events. Crystal and her team at Amazae Events go above and beyond to make sure your event turns out as flawless as possible and goes off without a hitch. The main point of a planner is to make your life easier the day of an event, and they do just that. I've hired them for corporate, social, as well as my sisters wedding since 2010, and have always been able to enjoy myself as a guest would versus feeling like a host. She has great relationships with all her vendors, streamlining communication so that everything stays in order. Crystal builds relationships with her clients the same way she has her vendors. Over the years Crystal has become a friend, but puts her heart in each event the same way even if its that of a new client. This review is to worn all of the innocent people out there just getting starting on who you are wanting as your wedding planners. Here is my story. When my daughter got engaged back in January we were not " shelter in place". We were on cloud 9. So happy she got engaged. We did the usually, interviewing different venders and so on. At that time the guest list was 110 people. We figured we needed a wedding planner. So we went and interview Caitlin at Amaza'e Events. Everything went well got that warm and fuzzy feeling. Paid the first installment. Things were moving right along. Had a couple meetings. Paid another payment, then Covid-19 hit. Hero Ranch, where we were going to have the wedding ceremony and reception cancelled on us, still haven't gotten a penny back from them. (that's another store for another time) The rules for gatherings were changing from month to month, but we knew we were not going to be able to have all 110 guests. We were aloud only 25 people total. It made no sense having a wedding planner. When we explained that to them, that warm and fuzzy feeling turned ice cold. They have yet to pay back any of the money we paid, not even half. We understand that we wouldn't get back all the money we paid them, but when we gave them $5,000.00 for a few emails and suggestions you would think we would have gotten back half. Let me start off by saying- If my husband and I could give more than 5 stars, we would! We just got married this past Saturday, 11/10/18, and I knew I needed to write a review ASAP. I have been fortunate enough to work with Amazae for about a year to plan my wedding. As soon as we walked in the door, we hit it off with Crystal in every way - her style, her personality, her thorough approach to things and the general way she made us feel like everything would be coordinated perfectly if we worked with her. And now that we've lived through planning our wedding with them, I couldn't imagine working with anyone else and we can confidently say that they were worth every single penny and then some! They did everything possible to make the wedding of our dreams come to life. Our wedding was 200+. It was VERY important to us for our wedding to meet our cultural (Mexican) needs as well. I was worried that our wedding planner wouldn't understand what we needed. Crystal knew EXACTLY what I wanted and made that happen! Amazae helped us with design, set up venue visits, reviewed vendor contracts, coordinated all the logistics with vendors and wedding party members, attended food tasting with us, held one last walk through of venue to review timeline, set everything up beautifully on the day of and kept everything on schedule, ran our rehearsal flawlessly, kept track of every single detail throughout the entirety of the process, and generally helped us with any and everything - all with smiles on their faces, high energy, and often our favorite drinks from Starbucks (or wine) in hand. I never thought that I needed a wedding coordinator, but looking back, there's no way I could have survived my wedding without Crystal. She was able to make my wedding as stress-free as possible, and that's no a small feat. She worked with all our vendors, making sure that all our contracts were in order and that all our vendors would be wherever they needed to be at the right time. She also planned out the entire wedding day starting from the time I woke up to when we were whisked off to our hotel after the reception. Some examples of her wonderful wedding coordinator skills: - She was able to corral my rowdy family and make them pay attention during the rehearsal at the church. - My then fianc spent months of hard work preparing our slide show. Thank goodness Crystal had backup copies since the first and second CD didn't work. I know that my hubby would have been so disappointed if we weren't able to show the slide show to our guests. - Crystal revealed to us (a year after the wedding) that our church was closed the morning on our wedding. Without Crystal there to chase down someone with a key, our wedding would have taken place at the St. John parking lot. I really can't imagine what my wedding day would have turned out to be if Crystal wasn't there working out the kinks and making sure that everything ran smoothly. I had never anticipated getting a Day of Coordinator for my wedding. I didn't think I needed one and I didn't think my wedding budget would allow for one, but after talking to several friends who had hired coordinators and me and the groom wanting to make sure we enjoyed our day (stress-free), we decided to splurge and hire Crystal, who was recommended by our photographer. Working with Crystal was easy which was a plus because planning the wedding for the West Coast, from the East Coast was hard enough. We emailed frequently, talked via Skype/phone and when I made visits to the Bay Area, we did meet face to face. Crystal was always organized, upbeat, friendly, professional and responded promptly to all forms of communication. Most importantly, she is on your side. She will do everything possible to ensure that you have a great day and she fights for you if something goes wrong with one of your vendors. She is in the business not for the money, but to make sure you have your dream wedding. In addition to hiring her for her "day of" skills, I also added to the package the Design Consultation because I had a lot of ideas what I did/didn't want and I wanted to make sure it all tied in together versus combining a whole bunch of random themes/ideas. Then from there, I was able to book the vendors I wanted (but I mostly booked the ones she recommended) and execute everything else, based on the vision that both she and I had for my wedding. She led the rehearsal and gave us adequate time for practice as well as asking questions and addressing concerns. For the day of, she was energetic, professional and a leader. Although there were a few hiccups that I learned about during the ceremony/reception, I didn't hear of it till much later that night and didn't notice anything at the time. Even my guests didn't notice anything out of place. For those wavering on the decision if they should hire a coordinator, from one budget-conscious person to another, hands down I would hire Crystal and have her work her magic so that your once in a lifetime, special day, is enjoyable for you and all your loved ones. read more

Now, after the second wedding I simply must ditto what I said in the first review. Obviously I was happy enough to hire them for not only one, but two weddings in four months and we could not have been happier! There were some decorative elements that I have never seen before, and were nothing short of stunning. Crystal LeQuang, Nashley Villalvazo, and Christina Tran are all wonderful event professionals! My daughter was married this past weekend in San Francisco. We consulted and contracted with Crystal, who clearly has years of experience and knows exactly what she is doing, and worked through the planning details with Nashley. Christina joined Nashley to assist on the wedding day. The ceremony was about a mile from the Reception. Each venue had the same start time for set-up, so they had one person at each location to ensure they were prepared and executed as planned. I was a nervous wreck going into the last month of planning. Even though we started planning a year in advance, the wedding was quickly upon us. No worries though, Nashley took over finalizing details with the timeline and vendors. And, it was seamless! I work in the wedding industry, and being on the other side of things is no cakewalk. However, I was able to truly enjoy the weekend, starting with the rehearsal and ending with the day after the wedding, when I had to follow up on an item a guest left behind at the venue (quickly found and returned, by the way). I was actually able to enjoy every single moment of the wedding and reception. Nashley came to find me when I was needed for a dance, or cake cutting, etc. All I had to do was be present and have the time of my life. I applaud this team for their professionalism, dedication, creativity, and general industry smarts. They are absolutely wonderful, and I am grateful beyond words to have had them on our side. Crystal Lequang and her team is pure awesomeness. After meeting with a few different coordinators, we decided on Crystal because of the professionalism as well as our comfortablilty with her. All great things have been said about Crystal already, but just to drill it in some more, Crystal has made a firm believer in me about wedding/party coordination and design. Planning a wedding was a really big project for us because we wanted it to be nice and we had a lot of guests. Crystal is highly organized and made the process as easy as possible. During our design meetings she had these amazing ideas that seem to pop out of nowhere. There would be no way for me to think of these details or vision. We felt so comfortable, we basically gave her free will to do her magic. She'd always confirm to make sure it was okay with us first though! There is a sort of calming aura from her as well. During stressful times of the planning process, an email or phone call from her would make us feel at ease. I think it's the professionalism and confidence. She won't allow things to falter and wants the event to be what you envision and more. I would recommend anyone to definately check out coordinators and try to fit it in your budget. It will make the process easier and cohesive. I've been to events where Crystal has setup a bunch of different vignettes and they can probably fit the vision you are looking for. Absolutely worth meeting Crystal face to face to see if she's a good fit for your event planning! I emailed with Crystal, and our wires crossed over what I was inquiring about. I got frustrated, and replied that I was frustrated and she sent back an EXQUISITELY empathetic and professional response. What was I confused and frustrated about? They don't do service menus or price ranges. They do every package (and price) customized to the couple's planning needs. This does NOT mean Crystal does not take on modestly budgeted weddings. If you're worried about that, contact her anyway. A big part of wedding planning is grace under fire and negotiation and problem solving, and Crystal gave every indication in our final exchange that she has those qualities in spades. When my wife originally told me she wanted a wedding planner/coordinator, I was a little reserved. I was referred to Amazae Events for our wedding through the event coordinator at Carmel Valley Ranch and cannot express how appreciative we are for their recommendation. Crystal and all of the Amazae team put on a FANTASTIC wedding for us. Having read the many raving reviews on Yelp I felt confident they would help us plan a beautiful wedding, but their professionalism and talent at event planning went above and beyond our expectations. WOW -they are great at what they do! There are so many reasons for giving this company a 5 star Yelp review! All in all we had a very tall order with our expectations, large bridal party and quick timeline to put together a 200+ person wedding, yet this team executed everything flawlessly! First the planning process with Crystal was extremely organized from start to finish. From our initial phone call (free consultation) I was impressed. This is clearly a well run business from their website, social media and overall planning presentation. They gave us everything we asked for including an absolutely stunning party tent that wowed us and our guests. Secondly, there is a great deal of client care that is evident with the entire Amazae team. Whether speaking with Crystal, Caitlin or Reena we always felt that we were in great hands. Lastly - and most importantly- their execution is terrific! All of the last minute details and questions were handled wonderfully by Crystal and her team. We even witnessed them fix 'problems' seamlessly being that I brought a faulty wedding arch that we discovered wouldn't work on the Rehearsal day. By the day of the wedding, Crystal and team surprised us with a stunning arch that fit into the style of the day and I never thought twice about it. So many people have commented on how beautiful it was and we loved how it was a surprise! This event planning team handles any issues and last minute surprises with such poise and grace. Crystal even drove us to our hotel suite at the end of the night realizing we needed a quick lift back. So I posted on 3/21/2015 regarding my planning experience with Crystal and her staff. My initial review ranked her at 4 stars with a caveat that since the actual event had not taken place yet, that I would revise my post following the event. Somehow, Amazae was able to remove my post from Yelp which motivated me to post again. In summary: My experience with Amazae was not great. From the rest of the reviews it appears that Amazae does large weddings really well. When I asked Crystal if they handle smaller events (70-100ppl) she assured me that they do but like the other reviewer (whose review was conveniently moved to the "do not recommend" reviews) it felt like my event was not just big/important enough. The cons: - Crystal was not willing to get her hands dirty, when i asked whether her people would be willing to pitch in and possibly pick up some plates, or pass our champagne Crystal indicated that I needed to hire staff to do that (i.e., her 3 staff people would not be able to pass drinks if the service people i had were tied up doing something else) -Crystal's people were in charge of getting ice refill at the 7-11 which is about half a block away from my home. My event ran for 2.5 hours; Crystal and one other of her staff LEFT my event for 53 MINUTES DURING MY EVENT (I know because I have her leaving and entering the premises on my video cam). I couldn't believe it - she left the event while it was on and it was very unprofessional. I was blown away that she would just bail like that. I expected her to send one of her staff to get ice and come back (10 min tops) and I just couldn't get over it. The pros: - To be fair the party went reasonably well, there were no disasters so that was good - Crystal brought an extra staff helper (1 person) to assist her at no charge Net - Net: I am sure Amazae excels at large events and weddings but if you have a smaller event - go with someone else. These guys are not the type to chip in and help out if needed (which is what a you need at a smaller event since you are spending $$$ on them!). Amazae focuses on delegating (and leaving!) - so my advice is pick someone else for your small event. read more

My now husband and I reached out to Crystal at Amazae after getting the run around from a destination wedding planner who specializes in weddings in Cozumel, Mexico. Our plan was ambitious. We wanted a customized wedding and reception on the beach in Cozumel for our 60 guests to enjoy after stepping off our cruise ship. Because our wedding was planned in port on the 3rd day of our 4 day/4 night cruise, we needed someone would be there to handle every last detail without us on hand. Initially, we contracted with another planner who could not deliver the personal touches we expected and whose attitude made us very uncomfortable. After calling Amazae to try to add their design experience to our wedding, we quickly realized that Crystal was the one for us and we broke our contract with our original planner, forfeiting $1K. I never knew how much I would need Crystal and her staff until I really needed them. We used Amazae for our romantic, rustic backyard wedding. It was a smaller garden wedding with 130 guests. I felt completely taken care of every step of the way - maybe it was that hug the first time we met with her. She made my family feel like Ohana. Crystal and her team had no problem not only meeting with myself and my now husband but also my parents which was extremely important to me prior to booking with them. My wedding is a day I wish I could relive every month. To this day people still tell me how much fun they had and how beautiful everything was. The decor, the ceremony, the flowers, our sparkler exit (our last name is Sparks ) and the overall romantic feel. It was dreamy. Her team helped with everything - gave me feedback and options. My family and friends didn't lift a finger. Everything was taken care of by the amazing staff. Our Wedding was in October 2016 and in February 2017 my father was diagnosed with ALS and this was the last time I was able to dance with him. He now is in a wheelchair and using a walker in the house, he has difficulty with getting around. I look back at the fun we had that day and cherish every moment. The memories from my wedding day are unforgettable and because of the exquisite work of Amazae I can truly say I loved every part of my wedding. Wow! We could not be happier with the experiences that we had with Amazae in planning our wedding. The number one question that we got on our wedding day was, "How do you feel? Are you stressed?" We proudly answered "We feel great!" every single time. This is due entirely to the amazing Amazae team. They had every single thing covered from start to finish. From our first meeting, Amazae made us feel at ease and that all of our wedding desires were going to be achieved. To be honest, we were quite a picky pair, always wanting to see additional ideas, quotes, images, etc... Not once did Amazae falter in their dedication to us .They provided us with countless options, advice, and did all of these things with a cheery disposition. Planning a wedding can be quite intimidating. There are timelines and checklists to be aware of. Amazae brilliantly kept us on schedule! We were given countless reminders and opportunities to make decisions ahead of time so we never felt like we were doing anything last minute. It was such a relief to be on track and to be able to monitor our progress through updated checklists that Amazae would send. During our planning, we had a few close friends also getting married at the same time. We would use each other as a sounding board in terms of what we had done and what was left to be done. After all of these conversations, we felt relieved at where we were at with Amazae. We would either be on par or way ahead of the planning game with our peers. Being prepared alleviated any potential stress that could have been lingering around. Now to the wedding day. This is where Amazae truly shined (not that they didn't shine leading up to the event... this is just where they kicked butt)! Given our venue and set up, Amazae was around in the days leading up to our big day. They worked around the clock meeting with vendors, checking in with the florist, coordinate with the church, etc... All of the minute details that we had worked on over the past year were magically before us. We were absolutely blown away at how GORGEOUS everything was. It is one thing to see your choices online or through designs but to see the real thing... it was truly breathtaking. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives! We did not have to worry about a single thing. We were kept on schedule, gently reminded about when to move things along, and had an overall sense of ease and peace throughout the day. While there are many examples of Amazae's prowess, this one story shows how truly blessed we were to have them by our sides. Being a nervous bride, I wanted to make sure that I had deodorant handy whenever I needed it throughout the big day...just in case :). I gave this to a team member the day before the wedding. This team member had it for me during the entire wedding day and once her night was done, she passed it along to another team member and made sure to let me know that I was still covered! While on the dance floor, close to midnight, I was able to call upon Amazae! Such a small but important example of the attentiveness that Amazae showed us throughout the entire process. We could go on and on about how Amazae was there for us in planning our wedding! But, to sum things up, deciding to work with Amazae was the best decision that we made. Not only are they a rockstar professional team, but they ensured that what we wanted for our special day came to fruition. Hiring Crystal turned out to be the best decision I made during the entire process. It was truly refreshing to work with someone who is so professional, organized, efficient, and thoughtful in her work. What I liked best about working with Crystal was that she is personally invested in each event she plans; she goes above and beyond to ensure that the event runs smoothly and beautifully and that everyone - including (and ESPECIALLY) the bride and groom - can enjoy the special day. I initially retained Crystal for day-of coordination services for my September 6, 2008 wedding, but she ended up being so much more than a day-of coordinator. Crystal helped me throughout the entire wedding planning process, from answering etiquette questions, to recommending vendors, to accompanying me and advising me during visits to linen rental companies, to independently meeting with lighting companies and designing the lighting for our event (which was spectacular), to providing design advice, and even creating our escort card board. She has fantastic vision and, through her creativity, was able to completely transform our reception venue from a very typical, somewhat unattractive dining room in a Chinese restaurant to an elegant, intimate space - our guests, many of whom had been to the restaurant before, were blown away by how amazing the room looked. I was very impressed and appreciative of how much work and attention Crystal devoted to our event - it truly reflects her investment in creating a beautiful event, no matter what the effort. Because of Crystal's help, I had no worries or concerns on my wedding day - I was able to enjoy every moment, confident that if anything came up, Crystal would take care of it. Our wedding and reception started and ended exactly on time (even our 10 course Chinese banquet came out according to schedule, which is AMAZING for a Chinese restaurant), and I was blown away by the site designs that she had helped create in coordination with our florist and lighting/linen rental companies.
