    The flowers and food were perfect

    I am so glad that we hired Crystal, Kaila, Jenn and the Amazae Events team to help plan my 60th birthday bash. I loved their ideas and they took my vision and made it a reality. All our guests were blown away by the food, decor, flowers, staff, music and all the extras that made the evening magical and spectacular. They really did make it all so easy, we got to just show up and enjoy our guests! Thanks to Crystal and the whole team- it really was a once-in-a-lifetime event and experience.

    We hired Amazáe to help plan our daughter's high school graduation party . With all of the graduation events going on, we just didn't have the energy to plan a party, yet we still wanted to celebrate our daughter so we hired Amazáe to help. After only 2 meetings with Amazae, they determined our needs and designed a party that turned out perfectly . On the day of the party , the Amazae team was absolutely amazing . They were all professional, friendly, helpful, and most importantly self directed. Everything stayed clean and replenished. The guests had a great time - they loved the food ,the ambiance and the details - truly a well done party. Our daughter was thrilled which was really special. For once we were able to mingle ,talk and take photos- it was a completely different experience. I don't think We will ever be able to throw another party without Amazae.

    If you're looking for an amazing team of professionals who can seamlessly pull off a beautiful wedding, Amazae Events is the team! As a past bride, I wanted to share this review to help future brides stressed about wedding planning. I highly recommend Amazae for your wedding - they were one of the best vendors we chose for our events! We hired Crystal and team for our big wedding in the Bay Area - they planned and designed both our pre-wedding (Sangeet) and wedding events back in Oct 2019! From my very first consultation meeting, I knew Crystal was the perfect planner for our wedding events! She is incredibly professional, warm, and has lots of experience with Indian weddings. I interviewed a few planners in the Bay Area, but Crystal's professional nature, expertise, and creative eye really stood out. A wedding planner does so much behind the scenes, and I honestly did not know the different flavors / types of wedding planning services. I had a couple other friends getting married during the same time as me (with different wedding planners) and it was obvious we were getting a truly unique experience with Amazae! It's hard for me to summarize all the wonderful things the team did for us, but see below for the key highlights of our experience: 1) Truly amazing at design! Crystal has such a creative eye, and I enjoyed all our design sessions with her. The team always prepped with beautiful ideas / sketches to help us bring our dream events to life. They produced a very unique Sangeet "bazaar" theme. We got married at Casa Real Winery and they designed the wedding / reception so beautifully! Our guests still tell us it's the most beautiful wedding they've been to. I still look back at the images and am so happy about how every detail turned out! I would say Amazae's greatest strength is their creativity and design. 2) The team would always prioritize client satisfaction! As any South Asian bride knows, planning a wedding for 300+ people is not an easy task. Crystal, Caitlin, and Nashley were always available to answer any last minute questions via text / call and were willing to problem-solve any issues along the way. They all go above and beyond to make sure the bride and groom are truly happy! For example, I mentioned early-on that I loved tulips; Crystal arranged to have tulips flown in from abroad to the wedding (which was such a nice surprise for me)!  3) Very organized and professional! Each meeting had a clear set of agenda topics and key questions. My fiance and I both had demanding schedules the year of the wedding, and Amazae kept us on track. Caitlin was great at always checking in to make sure we were on the right timeline - their team handled so many key projects (e.g., creating and mailing our save the dates, seating charts, working with all vendors, and handling any vendor issues). For example, we found out that our Sangeet venue did not allow outside caterers to use their kitchen only two months prior to the wedding! Crystal swiftly and efficiently handled this issue (without stressing us out) - it was such a relief to know all problems were always handled behind the scenes. During the actual events, the team worked so seamlessly to help me and my family remain stress free. They were so great at coordinating and communicating, so we could all enjoy! I am so happy we picked Amazae - they are a wonderful group of individuals who honestly put their clients above all else! Thank you Crystal and team for giving us a great wedding experience!

    We worked with Amazae for our July 2021 wedding. I highly recommend the Amazae team for weddings and all your events! We had the most seamless planning experience, and that includes a year long postponement during the pandemic. Our wedding was an absolute perfect DREAM and Crystal and Caitlin and their team made all that possible. The Amazae team are the sweetest, most attentive and kind group of women!     I know this is a long read, but worth it! This review has been a long time coming, and in the spirit of being grateful, I want to start with how grateful I am for the Amazae team. I honestly don't even know where to begin as so many positive experiences run through my mind when I look back at my experience with Crystal, Caitlin, & the team at Amazae. When my fiance and I got engaged, I knew that I needed the help of a talented team to help us execute our wedding weekend (We hired them for 3 events). We live in Sacramento and our wedding was in the bay area. On top of that, we had about 400 guests and I knew that having help was a necessity! My fiance let me take most of the reigns on the planning which I was very appreciative of (he had his 2 cents in the music and food, so everyone was happy). When I met with Amazae, there was an instant connection. And sure, part of that has to do with the chemistry of personalities, but more so, I felt heard, I was being asked the right questions, I saw that they understood my vision, and I could see that they were very able to execute. For someone like myself, who likes to have control over everything, feeling this comfortable to allow them to take the lead was a big deal. I also knew that in order for everything to be efficient, I had to be ok with them handling all the coordination, and I felt 100% secure with their team taking the planning into their own hands (though I'm sure I had a few "moments" of eagerness, they never made me feel like I was stepping on any toes). Everything during the planning process was such a breeze on my end. I think we met a total of 4 times from start to end with few emails in between. In that time, we were able to review decor (minute details included), food, timeline, budget, deal breakers, etc. They handled all of the correspondence with every vendor and I hardly had to, if even at all, need to have any interaction. They coordinated EVERYTHING! I honestly feel as though having the Amazae as my team was the best investment I made for that whole weekend, such a blessing! When it came to the wedding weekend. I was blown away with how smoothly everything went. If there was an issue, I never even knew about it. I wasn't stressed at all, which if you know me, you know how anxious I can get in these types of situations, so that was huge, and it's a testament to how comfortable I felt with their team. I was able to fully take in the day and that was very important to the whole experience (they even coordinated locations with my hair & make up team in the AM-- They're extra!). When I say they got my vision, that was the biggest understatement. The decor was UNBELIEVABLE it was so gorgeous. They even added some extra touches to detail that just amplified the space that much more. I literally cried when I walked into the ceremony and reception halls and couldn't believe how beautiful everything was. They literally made my wedding dreams come true, and the best part, was that they made it so easy, and so streamlined. Pure perfection. These images don't do justice to the space, however, everything about my experience with Crystal, Caitlin, and the rest of the team was effortless, breathtaking, and memorable. For the next several weeks until the photo session, Kenneth responded amiably to my planning questions and was helpful in advising what might work better. He took the initiative to reach-out as the date approached. On the day-of, he arrived punctually and listened to my requests. He was unintrusive at the party and made people feel comfortable having their pictures taken. He took time to wish my father a happy birthday, which I thought was a lovely gesture. The photo results started rolling-in the very next morning. I was very happy with the results. The photo journal of what happened at the party was more perfect than what I had even expected. The gallery website was very easy to use. I had the full delivery just 1.5 days later. This review is not to…read moreslander Queen Bridals in any way, but to offer honest feedback that may encourage some reflection. Like many couples, we approached our wedding with excitement. A friend referred us to Vicky, and we didn't think twice. In hindsight, perhaps we should have done more research, but we are easygoing people. We communicated our vision, gave Vicky creative freedom, and trusted her as a professional. We weren't difficult. We asked for something simple, elegant, and meaningful. Instead, we experienced stress, embarrassment, and disappointment. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Vicky voiced concerns that our venue, Koi Palace, was too small. We reassured her we had attended several beautiful weddings there ourselves, space doesn't seem to be an issue. While she eventually said she'd make it work, her lingering doubt was noticeable. On the day of the wedding, I arrived at the venue at 5:20 PM and found our guests waiting outside due to the venue not being ready. Inside, I observed Vicky and her team still working and did not wrap up until 6:00 PM, the scheduled start time of our reception. Later, Vicky insisted she had finished by 5:30 PM and had time to mingle with our vendors, but that version didn't align with what I witnessed or what our vendors shared. The most heartbreaking part came when my wife and I stood before the photo backdrop to take pictures with our guests. Instead of our correct monogram, the backdrop displayed the letters "V & A," despite my wife's name starting with a "J". Our guests noticed and pointed it out. We were stunned. To us, this wasn't a minor mistake, it was a glaring and deeply embarrassing moment. We ended up removing the initials ourselves. Even then, we didn't lash out. We waited, hoping Vicky might follow up to ask how the day went. She didn't. Two days later, I reached out and met with Vicky in person. I calmly asked how she thought the event went. She indicated everything went great and didn't recall any issues. When I showed her a photo of the incorrect initials, she looked at it without immediately recognizing the mistake. Only after I pointed it out did she acknowledged it and offered to Photoshop the images as a solution. That moment was disheartening. It showed a lack of understanding of what her role meant to us. This wasn't about a photo, it was about how we felt in a moment that can't be edited. It was about getting the basics right on a day that only happens once. After expressing our disappointment, we asked Vicky for a 30 percent refund. Not out of spite or anger, but because we truly felt the value of the service fell short of what was promised. The emotional weight of her error left an unsavory impact throughout our evening. We didn't demand the refund on the spot. I encouraged her to sleep on it and consider our perspective, to put herself in our shoes. She appreciated how non-confrontational we were and ultimately verbally agreed to the refund via Zelle. Three days went by. Nothing. I followed up with a message. No response. Eventually, Vicky replied and asked to speak. During our conversation, she reversed course and said she no longer felt the refund was warranted. She maintained the decor had been finished well before 6:00 PM and sent us a video of guests taking their seats at 6:01 PM, which only confirmed she or her team were still at the venue at that time. Technically, she completed the decor by the start time, which falls within the contract, and while we shared our plans for pre-reception desserts and snacks, we cannot fault her for that aspect. As for the wrong initials, to her credit, Vicky was apologetic to some degree and acknowledged the error, but indicated a 30 percent refund was unrealistic. I explained again this wasn't about a backdrop, it was about my wife being displayed by the wrong name, in front of everyone, on her wedding day. It was about the emotional toll and the lapse in attention to detail, especially when Vicky had worked almost exclusively with my wife during planning. How that mistake happened is still beyond me. Candidly, Vicky admitted to mixing up my wife's name with another bride. In the end, Vicky refunded 7.5 percent, stating since we removed the initials, it didn't technically ruin the wedding. No, it didn't ruin the wedding. But it undoubtedly affected how we felt. It cast a shadow over the night. It made us feel discounted, dismissed, and ultimately shorted of a service we were counting on. I believe Vicky put effort into her work. I believe she cares to a point. But her unwillingness to follow through on her word or genuinely consider the emotional impact of her mistake left us deeply disappointed. Mistakes happen, but how you respond to them matters just as much as the service you provide.

He definitely is more of a carefree guy but wanted to make the moment special for me and she did all the heavy lifting and cared so much about the overall experience for us, she added in extra details he wouldn't have even thought of and provided additional tips for him. I couldn't have been happier with my proposal and I'm so grateful Vicky was able to be there to help execute my fiancé's vision! Now onto the wedding ;)

We got started with lists and details three months out and she gradually took more pieces off my plate as we got closer to the day. We meshed well with our love of google sheets for organization and she was always willing to answer my questions about different random things. I loved that she took over the communication and timing pieces with all of my vendors and that we could do a walkthrough of the space together before the event. The day of, though...that's where she really shines! Along with her assistant, Kristine truly was the boss of the event. Keeping us on time, organizing the final touches for our escort cards, getting my husband I where we needed to be and managing all our guests (including a couple of unexpected extra additions). But even beyond that, whenever I needed help or had questions, she was always responsive. Having Kristine on our team allowed me to not have to worry about forgetting or missing anything. In our communications leading up to the wedding, we tackled every detail relating to the day, including items that never even occurred to me. Then on the day-of, I just sat back, relaxed, and enjoyed every second of the day, because Kristine and her team made sure that I was completely taken care of. Kristine's rates are incredibly competitive. She's detail-oriented, professional, and knowledgeable. But I would say the thing that makes her the perfect wedding coordinator is her honest enthusiasm for planning and weddings. Pair that with her sweet and friendly personality, it made me feel like I had a trusted friend helping me run the event, rather than a professional (but stranger) just doing a job. She was by far one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding day at the Rengstorff House…read more Her package included unlimited guidance via email, a few consultations, an on site meeting, as well as timeline creation and vendor communication etc. This was the perfect package for us because we wanted to plan some of our wedding day but did not want to hire a full planner. Prices are very reasonable and in my opinion worth every penny!! On our wedding day she set up all our decor and flowers! She even brought us our dinner and made sure we were taken care of the whole night. At the end of the night she gave me our car keys and it was loaded with all of our stuff. It was so nice to not have to worry about anything the day of and enjoy our special day. Please hire her if you are able to you will not regret it!

From our very first phone call through the whole wedding she was professional, efficient, and receptive to everything we imagined for our big day. She helped me create several timelines and ran communication with all of my vendors. Additionally, she helped me ask questions I didn't know that I needed to ask. She ran our rehearsal and ensured we stayed on task. She took all of my decorations for set up and was able to set everything up in the hour and a half our venue gave us. If you hire anyone for your wedding, hire Blanca as your wedding coordinator!
