We were…read morerecommended Two Perfect Events by our venue, Mister Jiu's, given their prior collaboration and experience with them. We were kindly welcomed by Leah and introduced to our planner, Yoko, who was amazing, carefully guiding and making our vision a reality, accommodating our preferences and budget, and helping us with the design and layout of the big day with all of our vendors. She provided multiple vendor options, communicated closely with them and us throughout the bidding and hiring process, and ensured we were all on the same page from planning through the walkthrough and up to the day of the event. One of the greatest things about this process was the clear, concise communication and organization that made planning, payments, and decision-making understandable, step by step, rather than a labyrinth of crossed wires and deadlines.  The day of our wedding was as effortless as could be. It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers.  We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day.  Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. Thanks again to our wonderful planner, Yoko, and Two Perfect Events! We couldn't have done this without you.

There was clear communication before the event, and on the day of, Leah was able to show us where to go and was available for any questions that came up, so we were able to set up seamlessly. The night was a success, and the guests loved our claw machine. They also took it a step further to help capture some of the memorable moments from the night to share with us. We didn't ask for it, but it was such an awesome gesture, and we really appreciated that! Good planners are everywhere, but GREAT planners, like Two Perfect Events, make sure that all needs are met (whether it's for the couple or all the vendors) and thensome!

As a perfectionist myself, it made me nervous to relinquish all control of the wedding day to someone else, and at the end of the day, I'm glad I did. They went above and beyond our expectations and truly made us feel at ease throughout the day, following the schedule and giving their professional opinions on spur of the moment things that needed to be done sooner rather than later. I am forever in debt to this wonderful pair for making sure our special day went according to plan and I would definitely recommend Love by Leah for any couple looking for help with their wedding. We worked with Amazae from the moment we knew we wanted to get married (before we got engaged,…read moretechnically. Ha). Both of us are extremely busy re: our jobs and knew that we wouldn't be able to dedicate enough time to truly planning an event of this scale. If you're on the fence, go with Amazae. My husband, before we hired Amazae, was on the fence of whether or not we needed planning services. I told him that if we did not hire someone that there would be no wedding. By the time we had finished our venue search, he knew that I was totally right re: the amount of help you get by leveraging someone else's expertise. You do this once (hopefully) in your life. Amazae does this all the time. Amazae knew all the ins and outs of every venue that we could possibly think of in the Bay Area, Carmel, and Napa. They were able to tell us who was beer and wine only, who had a 10pm end time because of noise ordinances, and who required you to use certain caterers that were $x per head. This will save you SO much time and save you visits to random places that don't meet your requirements. Vendor sourcing - they are super good at this re: figuring out (or making you figure out what you like) who matches your style for every vendor, then finding one that fits in your budget. Most importantly, they will make sure everyone shows up (join any wedding FB group and read some horror stories). They will help you with all of the contracting and the collection of COIs, etc. Again, this would have been IMPOSSIBLE for myself and my now husband. We literally do not have the hours in the day to do this. This team is on top of everything - they will chase you down if they need to for answers for pieces of your event. They can make anything happen - from the weirdest requests to the most mundane. They are so professional, and they really make your wedding super personal. Amazae designed and executed a beautiful event from beginning to end that felt so authentic to us. Day of, they were there to take care of everything, and it was truly a flawless day. We could not asked for a better planner re: Crystal, Kaila, and the rest of the team. We put full trust in them re: the design of this event and the day of. Example: I honestly did not know what florals were going to be there, but they were so stunning. The strength of the Amazae team is in their ability to bring you and your personality into an event that is mostly structured a certain way. They also make your day as stress-free as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about this team and their ability to make your wedding great. If you're down to hand things off to someone else, I would say hand it off to them. It will be better than what you could have come up with yourself.

That's why we decided to hire an event planner for our daughter's wedding in January 2021. Even though it was a small backyard wedding, we wanted it to be memorable and elegant. We interviewed 3 different event planners, and got 3 rough quotes, all around the same ballpark. Amazae's quote, however, was the most detailed, breaking down a high & low range for each item (food, florals, rentals, photography, etc.) It was an easy choice to contract with them. Crystal came onsite for our first meeting, and I really didn't have a lot for her to go on. My daughter isn't the Pinterest type, so I just told Crystal the wedding colors and showed her pictures of the wedding gown and bridesmaid gowns. The rest of the planning was all done via zoom, emails, and a few phone calls. We worked mostly with Caitlin, who is an amazing planner. Each step along the way, she gave us several options to choose from. For example, she provided a list of 4 photographers, their quote for the day, their profile, their gallery, etc. Once all of our choices were made, she put together a design deck that gave us a preview of the entire wedding. It was more gorgeous than I envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Lisa came out to set everything up. She even picked up the florals and wedding cake to save us the delivery fees. It was a little hectic when I met her, and I probably spent 5 minutes with her showing her where everything was before we left for the church ceremony. And when we came back, she was driving off, leaving behind a magical transformation of yard. Everyone was stunned. The catering crew then took over and prepared a "Top Chef" level meal. And when they left, my kitchen was as clean as when they arrived. My husband commented, "Whatever we paid for this wedding, it was worth every penny." Haha. True. NOTE: the photos on this review are from my phone. The professional photos are not available yet.

I genuinely cannot…read moreimagine planning our wedding without her, and I am forever grateful that Blanco Urban referred me to her. From our very first conversation, I immediately knew I wanted to work with her. Sushie is SO easy to talk to and connect with. She makes you feel completely comfortable asking her anything, no matter how big or small the question is. And when I say she is responsive, I mean RESPONSIVE. We have literally had wedding planning conversations past 1 AM. She was always there when I needed her and somehow never made me feel like I was bothering her. She is also incredibly knowledgeable and gives you her honest opinion, which I appreciated so much. She doesn't just tell you what you want to hear--she tells you what she genuinely thinks will work best. Every single vendor she recommended to us was AMAZING, and I quickly learned that when Sushie recommended someone, I could trust her. The craziest part is that I truly did not feel stressed planning my wedding. People would constantly ask me, "How's wedding planning? Are you stressed?" and my answer was always that it was honestly a breeze. We had basically finished planning our wedding almost a YEAR early, and that is completely because of Sushie. And our wedding was NOT simple. We had a lot going on--tons of decor, multiple vendors, entertainment, lighting, lasers, a photo booth, and so many different elements that all needed to fit and work together in one space. Sushie figured out ALL of it. Blanco Urban is essentially a blank canvas, and she completely transformed it. She figured out the floor plan, where all of our vendors and installations would go, how guests would move through the space, and how everything would transition throughout the night. Even when we kept adding things, she somehow found a way to make everything work without the venue ever feeling crowded or chaotic. That was one of the things I appreciated most about having her. I could tell her an idea, and I didn't have to worry about figuring out HOW to execute it. She would take it, think through all the logistics, coordinate with the right people, and make it happen. She took so many separate ideas in my head and turned them into one beautiful, cohesive wedding. She also handled all of our vendor coordination. We had so many people involved in making our wedding happen, but I never felt like I was the one managing them. I honestly don't even know what problems or questions probably came up behind the scenes because Sushie handled everything before it ever reached me--which is EXACTLY what you want from your wedding planner. She understood my vision perfectly. I wanted something beautiful and elegant that would completely transform once the lights went down into a lit, euphoric party--and she absolutely NAILED IT. Everything from the decor and layout to the music, lighting, vendors, and overall flow of the night came together perfectly. On our wedding day, I didn't have to think about setup, timelines, vendors, or what was supposed to happen next. I got to focus on myself, my husband, our friends and family, and actually ENJOY the day. I wasn't a bride AND a wedding planner that day. I was just the bride. I cannot thank Sushie enough for giving us the BEST day of our lives. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful and fun our wedding was, and so much of that is because of everything she did behind the scenes to make it happen. If you're debating whether you need a wedding planner: YOU DO. And you need Sushie. Sushie, thank you for taking every random idea I had and turning a blank canvas into the wedding of my dreams. You are truly the BEST, and I am forever grateful for you.

We didn't want to buy a bunch of stuff that we would only use once and then have to worry about storing later. This was definitely a plus! The game changer was that Sushie and her team handled the setup, decorations, and takedown/cleanup. What a relief to know that we didn't have to hire additional help or assign friends/family or do it ourselves, to setup and take down (clean up) the venue. She was 100% professional and outlined exactly what she felt her job was: she wanted to help us create, plan, and execute our perfect day. She finally won me over when I told her of my plan to walk down the isle to the Imperial March (think Darth Vader's music) and said how great it would be! Sold! Even though we were utilizing Rekha's talents only on the day of the event, she put a lot of time into the time line, site map and other things. We easily used up 20+ hours of her time just in phone calls. We primarily reached out to Michele to get her help with day-of wedding coordination but she continuously reached out to me throughout the whole process to see how things were going and if she could help in any way. She always listened well to understand what I needed and responded very quickly to any requests. I found her to be extremely reliable and always read to offer her help which I really appreciated. She was also critical to making sure things went smoothly the day of our wedding. Believe it or not, there was a county-wide powercut in Santa Cruz the day of our wedding which was definitely not part of the plan. Michele stayed really calm through it all though and helped us managed through what could have otherwise been a painful situation. She helped to shuttle our whole bridal party to our wedding venue to get ready (instead of staying at the hotel since the venue had electricity) and helped to transport everything from our hotel rooms very seamlessly. She also made sure that we all stayed calm through it all which was really great. She was very thoughtful throughout the day in terms of running out to get us all food, bringing a small hand-held motorized fan that she held next to me while I was getting dressed, and writing us a really sweet wedding card. When you add this to having great organizational skills (she pretty much had the plan for the day memorized), she is really a great choice for a wedding planner and I think offers quality serves at an affordable price point.
