Satvir did the mandap and florals for my wedding in San Francisco, CA Satvir is an incredible decorator and has a great vision and eye for quality. As a designer myself, I had a good idea of what I wanted my wedding mandap to look like. I also knew I wanted a larger mandap, which is sometimes hard to come by. Satvir was open to feedback and had a large rustic 10x12 mandap her team had built. It had nice large wooden beams and worked perfectly with our venue. I wanted bright florals that felt full and satvir delivered. I was very happy with how the final product turned out. She also dealt with all the crazy SF rules including zip tying all the chairs together and getting the fire permit which was required by the city. This was such a stress relief for us since we didn't know how to handle all the rules and regulations. In addition, something I really value about Satvir's approach is how she reuses florals. It pains me to see how much flowers are wasted at weddings, and I wanted a more sustainable approach. The florals from our mandap were reused for our reception and satvir touched them up and made them look beautiful. None of our guests even noticed they were the same florals. I loved the fact that we didn't waste flowers and everything was gorgeous. She also managed to do this in a very tight timeline and killed it!! Highly recommend satvir, you will not regret it. read more

SB Arts - Our mandap and florals by satvir!! - Party & Event Planning Near Me

My spouse and I worked with Satvir and SB Arts for our wedding day ceremony and reception decor in December 2023 in Berkeley. From the start, Satvir was great about offering creative options for maximizing what we could do with our budget, by reusing much of the ceremony florals in the reception. We found that having the ability to go in person to her studio and see samples of what would be used for our wedding very helpful and appreciated that Satvir even went so far as to buy new side tables for our reception stage to match our vision. We were incredibly impressed by the final products. Many of our guests and family members had highly complementary things to say about the decor for our event. read more

We worked with Satvir to decorate our ceremony venue (lobby / mandap / seating and lunch hall) and everything was beautiful! She also helped with decor that same evening at a different venue for our reception, even using some stuff from our ceremony so that we could repurpose flowers. We had a couple of meetings in person, plenty of emails, and calls when needed so communication was definitely easy, even with how many changes I requested. Highly recommended! read more

I hired Bobby as my day of coordinator for my wedding / reception on March 11th based on Yelp reviews. The reasons for my 2 star rating are the following: 1) I had scheduled a walk through with my reception venue around her schedule. The night before the appointment she emailed me letting me know she could no longer. I tried to reschedule but given the time I ended up going to that walk through alone. She did her own walk through but the fact that she emailed me (instead of called me) so last minute with a venue she knew I was having issues with really bothered me. 2) The contract mentions she will bring an assistant during the day. That assistant is her daughter (wish I was told before I signed). 3) On the day of, she was constantly in a hurry in getting to the next thing. I understand there is a timeline but I was told by friends that she was very bossy in telling them to hurry up and eat breakfast even though the ceremony wasn't supposed to start for another 30 minutes. 4) Both the ceremony and reception started later than they were supposed to. Because of that, there were certain activities which were shortened and / or eliminated completely which we realized after the fact. We were especially specific on the reception time as our venue had a view and we wanted everyone to see the sunset but it still started later than it was supposed to. 5) During the ceremony, she had girls sit behind myself (the bride) and the groom for some reason. I only wanted my sister and dad behind me but by the time I had seen what was happening and said something, the ceremony was starting and there were too many people who had already sat down. Had I known she was going to do this I would have asked for close relatives and friends ahead of time to make sure to sit behind me, instead, my wedding photographs now have random people I do not know directly behind me and were shown on the projectors throughout the ceremony. 6) During the reception, right after the speeches, she was about to grab us to go eat but luckily our photographer mentioned that we had couple shots to do. We were also supposed to do group shots with each table which was in our original timeline but for some reason was eliminated in the final version. My husband and I remembered right after the speeches but Bobby had stopped the couple shoot saying it was time for us to eat dinner and then it completely slipped our minds. It was very unfortunate as we now have no group pictures with everyone that came and we spent the most time on that backdrop. 7) We had bought a cake stand and our cake vendor had matched the color / design of our cake to that stand. We had given that stand to Bobby to put our cake on but when we entered the venue, there was another stand being used (ugly and gold rather than the bronze gold making the cake layers looking completely random and the design not how we envisioned). We had asked her after the event why our stand was not used and she said it was wobbly and she had texted someone to let them know. After asking around, we realized she hadn't texted any of us so that was a very unpleasant surprise and the stand seemed stable to us - we would have preferred to make that decision. 8) She kept telling our DJ the wrong time of when our event ended (10 pm instead of 10:30 pm), as such, the father daughter dance and first dance were done early and then the DJ played the "last song" at 10 pm until my sister had to go tell him again that we had the venue till 10:30 pm. Luckily, he made an excuse saying he was trying to get my husband on the dance floor. 9) While I was eating dinner she came up to me and told me she couldn't find my dad for the father daughter dance and I started freaking out not realizing the time and how early it was. I finally found my dad, stopped him from eating dessert since I thought we were running late. Afterwards I had asked for the time and realized we started the dance floor much earlier than we were supposed to making the older crowd leaving earlier than expected. 10) She started asking for her remaining payment at 8 pm to me, then my sister, then my dad. This continued till my dad said she would give her the check once the event is over which he did. 11) Our card box was in separate room which she was sitting in but there were times my sister and I went in that room to get water that she was not there and the card box was left unattended. The next day we found there were 6 envelopes that were missing cash. 12) She spent a good amount of time chatting with our vendors in the cocktail lounge during the dance floor portion instead of making sure things were getting done. All in all, Bobby is a nice person, she helped make sure our things were in our car by the end of the event and that the vendors came on time hence the 2 stars but if I could do it all over again I would have saved myself the $2K. read more

My wife and I worked with Satvir at SB Arts as our decorator for our Hindu wedding ceremony. Leading up to the wedding, Satvir was pleasant to work with. Her pricing was clear and transparent, which we noticed was not always the case with other decorators. She under-quoted us on one wedding item in our contract, but she honored the lower pricing upon realizing this mistake, which we appreciated. That said, the mandap that her team constructed collapsed on me (the groom) in front of all of our guests as my wife was about to walk down the aisle. Our family and a few staff members from our venue rushed up to help rebuild it, during which some of the piping hit one of our cousins on the head. Several family members then had to sit in the hot sun in chairs around the mandap for the rest of the ceremony to make sure it stayed up. Our understanding is that Satvir dispatched some team members to help, but they did not show up until after our wedding ceremony was over. She apologized by email after saying that there must have been extraordinary wind, but there was not - it was a sunny day in early September in San Jose. She told us she had worked at our venue before and she was there on the morning of our wedding for setup, so we expected everything would be appropriately constructed. Needless to say, we were quite disappointed. Satvir also told us by email afterward that "if we were doing the Reception décor as well we would have stayed on site and been able to catch the problem earlier." We felt it was unfair of her to blame the collapsing mandap on us not booking her for more events. Overall, we felt that Satvir was a nice person and was pleasant to work with leading up to our wedding, but we did not have a positive experience with her team's decor on the day of the wedding. read more

2 Part Review (SB Arts + Bobby's Wedding Day Coordinator Service) Satvir is 5 stars OBVIOUSLY Because Satvir was so freakin AMAGING during my engagement, it was a no brainer that I hire her for my wedding. I hired Satvir for my henna night (home décor), my ceremony decor, and my reception décor (hotel décor). Since I had worked with her previously - I really trusted her judgment and taste. We met to discuss the look I was going for my wedding and then she did her magic. It was seriously as easy as that. Anyone who is debating or trying to compare with other décor vendors - don't waste your time. I thought she was very detailed, does not beat around the bush, and for everything she did - she was affordable. I wouldn't have settled for anything but the best for my wedding and Satvir is the BEST! On to the next Bobby's Wedding Coordinator Service 5+ and BEYOND I hired her for my 2 day wedding and seriously without Bobby my wedding would've been a disaster. From dealing with my caterers, to getting our groomsmen to behave, our performances in order, our seating arrangements, our baarat, our photogs/video people, our vendors... Basically she did everything little thing to make my wedding such a beautiful, stress-free event for myself, my hubby and my family. When I first hired Bobby - I got so much heat from my in-laws and friends saying how it was unnecessary to have a coordinator, but I'm so glad I didn't listen to anyone and hired her because my wedding was a success because of her. I'm sure I had a million issues on my wedding and reception but I knew about none of them. She kept things on time and made sure everyone was entertained and had a blast. Honestly one of the BEST decisions I made ever! Thank you, Bobby & Satvir - you guys are THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BEST! read more

We were sold the minute we saw Satvir's decors she had on her website. We immediately made an appointment and we realized that her site was just the tip of an iceberg. She has really good taste with a very very good price. I was a little disappointed I met her late. Her prices are reasonable and direct to the point. I was just planning to meet her for 15 mins. to get a feel of how much will the decors cost, but boy I stayed there for almost a couple of hours as if I am speaking with a wedding coordinator for free. And that was just the consultation! She provided us with a lot of ideas for the wedding, gave us a centerpiece sample, and most importantly, she saved us a lot of money. I met her 3 more times and I sometimes felt guilty for taking too much of her time, when all I do was cut our expenses. I was not as organized as I should have but Satvir filled up the hole and helped me out. 1 week before the wedding, it came to our attention that some decors are not permitted. I communicated this to Satvir, and she took the initiative to deal the hall manager. I already prepared myself to let go of some decors, but to my surprise, Satvir and Lal was able to deliver without compromising our hall rental contract . The decors turned out awesome, my centerpieces looked great, and the whole ceremony and reception area had a classy feel. All this I had, minus the headache. read more

Its actually 4.5 stars! Satvir definitely delivers! She is to the point, practical and very reasonable. She set up our wedding mandap and did lighting, center pieces and couples table for the reception. It was hard to imagine how everything was going to look put together but we were really impressed on the day of. Why the 0.5 star off? She was a little hard to communicate with. There was many misunderstandings, wrong color schemes, wrong center table pieces..it def got frustrating. We didn't care too much about decoration so we didn't let it get too us too much. In the end I spent a couple hours with her the week of the wedding and made sure we were both on the same page. Once everything is correct on the contract you have nothing to worry about! read more

Satvir is a no-nonsense, straight to the point kind of person. She takes your wishy-washiness and tries to pin down concrete ideas and concepts from you as much as she can. Her experience dealing with large weddings and vague/indecisive couples really shows. My now husband loved that about her, especially after talking with vendors who didn't sound sure of what they could do because I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, lol. On the day of our wedding, Satvir really delivered!! The draping, decor, and lighting she did were absolutely gorgeous. The draping along the edge of the ceiling was different from what I had imagined, but what Satvir and her team did was incredible - I would have never thought of draping it that way, and it worked beautifully. Even a staff member mentioned to me how she had never seen the ceiling edge decorated that way through the many weddings she had worked at at the venue, and it looked amazing (she was telling me this before I had seen how it looked). Everyone at our wedding talked about how beautiful the reception hall looked. She was already there setting up by the time I got to the venue to get ready, and was right on time for clean up when the reception ended. Highly, highly recommended vendor :) read more

Without Satvir, I would not have been able to have a successful wedding weekend! In addition to handling all the beautiful decoration after understanding my needs and budget (and incorporating a custom carafe I wanted used for some centerpieces), she also connected me to most of the other vendors I used for our wedding. Her sister Bobby was my day of coordinator, and is amazingly efficient. She and her team made sure out big day was timely and smooth! Bobby can even help with reasonably priced pretty escort / place cards and programs for your event. Because of the help and support from SB Arts, I did not need a wedding planner. Satvir's decoration ideas, execution and communication with other vendors around decoration details (lighting, cake, hotel) went a long way, and I didn't have to worry about anything during our wedding weekend. If you are looking for a reliable, friendly, resourceful, honest, and competitively priced decorator for any of your events, SB Arts will not disappoint. read more

Planning my wedding in California, while I live in Michigan and with my mom working 24/7 was going to be a challenge, so we researched wedding planners, and came across Satvir from SB Arts. From start to finish, the wedding planning went smoothly! Of course there are stressful parts to planning any major event like a wedding, but Shalini (the wedding planner), was so amazing and helpful. She took care of the nitty gritty details and coordination that I didn't have time to deal with, such as decorations, coordinating vendors, and the small details (table numbers, seating chart, custom drinks, etc) that are usually a huge source of stress for any bride planning a wedding. Satvir did the decorations and everyone was so impressed by how everything looked! All we had to do was sit down and tell her our color scheme and the kind of decor we wanted, and she put together everything so wonderfully. Honestly, I cannot recommend Satvir and Shalini enough. My wedding weekend was amazing. We even had to do a last minute venue change for the Mehndi (literally 5 days before the event), and they made it happen without a hitch! If you need someone to take care of your wedding planning and significantly lower yours and your family's stress, go to SB Arts. :) read more

We hired SB Arts (decorator) and Bobby (wedding coordinator) for our wedding ceremony at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga as well as our reception the next day at Paradise Ballrooms in Fremont. It was great that they are both sisters and have worked together many times before, which made them a great pair to work with! Bobby: I still cannot imagine how we would have planned this wedding without her. And definitely cannot imagine how the actual events would have gone down had she not been there each step of the way. We met her about 3 times prior to our wedding, and each meeting was very productive and she gave us a good understanding of what all needed to be done. She walked through the entire events minute by minute. She was very realistic and honest with what aspects of our planning were possible and what weren't. She did her best to incorporate all our wishes. Bobby was very flexible and easy to work with - there were several times during the wedding planning process that things just seemed to be falling apart (our wedding venue cancelling 8 weeks before our wedding) or us realizing that we had forgotten something important - and she and Satvir were always there to help us and figure out a solution. She would immediately respond over text and would always have a solution to all our problems. During the day of the wedding/ceremony, she gave us food, kept us hydrated, made sure everything was going smoothly. Both events went perfectly! Highly recommend everyone looking for a coordinator to hire Bobby! SB Arts: We are very very happy with our choice as she made both the venues look gorgeous. The mandap and the seating arrangement for our ceremony was perfect. We were anticipating 200 guests in this tiny space, and she somehow made it work! Her work at Paradise Ballroom's was phenomenal as well, the lighting and the candles, the colors were on point. She was very aware of our budget and helped us stay within. She walked through both events with us and made sure all the necessities were taken care of. My husband and I were pretty clueless as to what needed to be done, and she helped us out tremendously. She is very professional and did the job well. I would highly recommend SB arts for your wedding. Thanks Satvir!! read more

This review is mostly for Bobby (my day-of coordinator). Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to work with SB Arts/Satvir for my wedding because she was booked, but my experience prior was very positive. She does not have a fancy website or marketing, but her pricing is very fair and she seemed flexible in changes and add-ons. She also provided me with recommendations for what would/would not work with my venue. I did work with Bobby and would highly recommend her for any couple that is more hands off or does not have experience planning a wedding (probably most couples and families). Her work goes beyond day-of coordination because she helped me decide on all of my vendors and provided recommendations for what would and would not work. She has worked with almost all South Asian vendors in the Bay Area and will handle vendor coordination. In terms of day-of coordination, she ensured everything ran ON TIME! This is extremely rare for Indian weddings and can become expensive if not run on time. Our wedding had an extremely tight timeline (my reception immediately followed my ceremony) and Bobby ensured that I had an extra 45 minutes (in addition to one hour) to change and take 2nd look pictures. Thanks to her time management, I had about 20 minutes to relax, eat and drink water before my reception. She style is assertive but respectful, so she works will with parents and older family members. All in all, because of her work I got to enjoy my wedding and everything ran smoothly. read more

Satvir did an amazing job with decorating for all my wedding events- mendhi, sangeet, and wedding. She did a great job of learning what I wanted and had a great vision on how to execute it. For the mendhi, she provided a decorated swing and it was a perfect backdrop for our pictures from the day. For the sangeet, she did an outstanding job transforming the courtyard of the San Mateo Marriott. She brought a decorated rickshaw that was a great hit at the event that everyone took photos with. She put together amazing food booths and decorated the tables with so much color. She also created a beautiful backdrop for the dance floor which looked great for all the performances. For the wedding day, she had decorated the gazebo very elegantly. She also had mason jars with flowers in them down the aisle. She transformed the ballroom we used for the reception so beautifully. She made an amazing backdrop for the stage and great floral centerpieces. We received a lot of compliments on how beautiful and colorful the wedding was and this was due to the great work done by SB Arts. I would highly recommend SB Arts for your wedding events decor. read more

Satvir did my brother's wedding this past week, I loved the decorations. Very nice, my brother thinks I overpaid but I really don't care, it was a beautiful turnout. Cake table was lovely. SB Arts did the decorations for our Sangeet, Ceremony, and Reception a couple weeks ago and I absolutely LOVED their work. Satvir and her sister Bobby were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! From the moment we contacted them, they were incredibly helpful and professional. Satvir's work is beautiful, first and foremost. We were in awe when we saw the decorations at our wedding and reception! Everybody remarked on how beautiful the mandap/ceremony and the reception hall were. She provides lots of examples of both ceremony decorations and reception decorations, so you can get an idea of different styles. We didn't really know exactly what we wanted but she gave us suggestions to help guide us. She also provided suggestions to keep costs down without sacrificing the looks we wanted. She's very reasonably priced and was on time for every single thing (meetings, walkthroughs, and day of). She is also communicative, responsive, and friendly. Absolutely no complaints! Bobby's coordination made our wedding day run smoother than we could have imagined. Leading up to the wedding, she contacted all of our vendors with a detailed schedule and even found and resolved some discrepancies with one of them. She was by far the most responsive person, almost always responding within minutes. She's super friendly and very accommodating, while also providing suggestions on how to make a wedding run smoother. During the actual day, she was around to make sure that everything was on time and we got anything we needed (food!). She and her daughter ran around accommodating all of our requests, even last minute ones! Overall Satvir and Bobby are a perfect pair and I would recommend them to anybody wanting a beautiful and well-run wedding! :) read more

Satvir was excellent to work with! She communicated quickly and clearly from the beginning to end. Even when she was traveling internationally, she notified us beforehand so we were prepared. We shared some inspiration photos with her and explained our vision and she 100% followed through. She was flexible in making adjustments to the original plan and provided updated contracts for us to keep track. The decor was better than we could have imagined. Overall, I definitely recommend Satvir. Her communication was excellent (which is so important with the stress of wedding planning), her pricing is reasonable, and her work is beautiful! read more

Satvir and her sister Bobby (who was our event and on-site coordinator) are a fantastic team that my husband and I highly recommend without reservation. We hired Satvir and Bobby for the complete event production, décor and of our wedding and sangeet a couple of weeks ago in Palo Alto at the Lucie Stern Community Center. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of the wedding. Here we will highlight a few reasons why we believe Satvir and Bobby are an outstanding team: Contract and rates: Prior to hiring Satvir, we priced out many vendors (i.e. furniture, flowers, food, and cake) and quickly discovered that SB Arts' rates for our full wedding package are fair and quite competitive. Satvir broke down the entire contract for us early on in the process. We were a little nervous about the contract because we weren't sure how much flexibility there would be with various items as things changed closer to the wedding date. However, this turned out to not be an issue. Satvir was creative and flexible in helping out with various changes and last-minute requests while keeping our budget in check. High quality vendors Satvir's vendors are extremely high quality. For example, our guests left raving about the food. The caterer she contracted was our first choice even prior to signing on with Satvir. It turned out that Satvir has an inside connection with them and was able to ensure a smooth process. Also, we loved our DJ - he had a great sense of humor and did a great job. Flexibility I've already spoken about Satvir's flexibility and willingness to help regarding the contract and extras. I must also mention Satvir's flexibility regarding dealing with inclement weather: there was a potential rain fiasco waiting to happen for our Sangeet night. Neither my husband nor I were able to commit to moving our Sangeet indoors till the day of the Sangeet, and Satvir was at the ready to move it inside at a moment's notice. We called her up literally 4 hours before our event to request her to move it inside. I was really floored with how grandly she decorated our Sangeet indoors last minute, and in the end I believe the event was much better than if we had had it outdoors. Hard work Satvir and Bobby were on their feet throughout our wedding events. Satvir worked extremely diligently and professionally - there were absolutely no excuses made and everything went off exactly according to plan (actually better than we could have ever imagined). Bobby was with our family the entire day, never leaving our side and making sure every single detail was paid attention to. Our guests all commented on how well organized and fun our wedding was. Experience Satvir and Bobby have seen 100s of weddings (maybe 1000s?). They really know what they are talking about when they make a suggestion. Bobby also walked us through very practical tips such as the kind of cake to get without throwing away money and offered us the life-saving advice to visit a western wedding tailor for help with altering my lehenga just two weeks before the big day. Also, they know the inside scoop on which mehendi lady to hire (stunning artistry) and the most affordable-yet-amazing photographers to hire. We were completely happy with every suggestion they made while also knowing that they had taken into account our preferences. Artistry Satvir is an artist - you need not worry about any aspect of the décor! Just take a look at her photos. SB Arts' fantastic reviews on Yelp are completely accurate! read more

Satvir was recommended to us by our wedding venue, and in hindsight, I'm so glad we worked with her for our wedding and reception decor. She took the time to show us options in her office, work with what I had as a vision, and also suggest things based on her event experience. With just 2.5 months to plan my wedding, Satvir was accommodating and easy to work with. She left us with no worries on the big day, and everything was handled and organized in a professional manner. She has a great selection of linen colors, a variety of furniture pieces, and great ideas and solutions to develop the wedding of your dreams. I must say that her reception centerpiece collection is a bit slim and wasn't really to my liking. However, let her know if there's something else that you have in mind, because most likely she can pull it together to make your day that much more perfect. read more

Professional and efficient with very reasonable prices. Especially liked that she took my wishy-washy pinterest ideas and made them into something "real" for the big day! She isn't pushy at all, and open to many ideas. My mom was keen on making the centerpieces and getting the flowers, so Satvir structured the other decor around these and it looked seamless. Only minor complaint is that we hired servers and bartenders through her (I think she outsourced them) and while the servers were fine, the bartenders did not seem to know what they were doing! Maybe get the wait/bartending staff from somewhere else or ask more detailed questions about them before hiring. Other than that, I would highly recommend SB Arts for your wedding decor! read more

Pinterest can be a wondrous thing. Not long after we got engaged, I spent hours upon hours on Pinterest, pinning photos of the most creative ideas. I was hooked on Pinterest and I had well over a dozen different boards, teeming with ideas, colors and designs. We had less than 6 months to plan our wedding and for all the events I have planned in years past for both work and for home, I had NO idea how to execute on my beloved Pinterest wedding ideas. It was overwhelming enough to think about everything else (e.g. the guest list, the venue, the dress, etc, etc), let alone how the day of event would actually go. To the rescue came Satvir. She came highly recommended by close friends of ours (she had helped design their beautiful Mountain Winery Indian wedding) and we jumped in with both feet. Can I say, what a lifesaver? From the plan of events, logistics, design and execution, Satvir and her team were on top of everything. We hired her as our day of coordinator but got to spend plenty of time with her in planning meetings beforehand to share great ideas with us and to help us whittle down and define our vision and wishes for the wedding. To be able to see everything come to life was a dream come true. Far better than just a collage of photos online, she made our beautiful wedding a wonderful celebration which we truly enjoyed and will treasure always. read more

She was very accessible - we met several times before the big day and she always had new, creative ideas and was impeccably organized. I cannot say enough about how awesome Satvir made my wedding look! On coordination - Bobby made everything run efficiently and on time. Every single person in my family commented on how amazed they were on how well the day ran. As the bride, I was worried I might be stressed during the day - but not with Bobby around! She took care of every last detail so that my husband and I could enjoy the day to the max. She also has great vendor connections and recommendations that really saved us. I contacted Satvir in Jan for my wedding coming up in April 2010. Right from day 1, it has been a pleasure working with her. She comes across as someone very professional, at the same time personal. She is not only decorating ceremony and reception area, but also the wedding coordinator for our big day. I will come back and update my review after the wedding day. Update - Post Wedding review- 1) Firstly, Satvir is a great person, very comfortable to work with and flexible. 2) Her work is creative, stylish, and comes with a lot of taste 3) Apart from decorations, Satvir is a superb coordinator, who will make sure your wedding goes smoothly 4) She is super fast, efficient and someone you can trust on your big day. It isn't often that you come across someone who is so into giving their client the best experience, putting all their heart into their work. She did an excellent job of coordinating the caterer, deejay, and multiple entertainers and executing a program she helped us put together. It was a great help to have Satvir for our event. We also worked with her previously for a reception for which she provided beautiful decorating and transformed a country club hall to an elegant reception hall. I can't imagine trying to throw a party with multiple vendors without having Satvir there to execute the program, and more importantly, to maintain my sanity. Definitely, would work with her again! read more

Bobby & Satvir made my wedding awesome, and saved the day by discovering something that was missing/overlooked with the caterer. All I did was tell her my wedding colors, and she came up with exactly what I was picturing for the decor for the ceremony and reception! Bobby the coordinator is incredible. Everything about the wedding went smoothly. Everything was on time and I was stress-free on my big day thanks to them!!!! They are both extremely nice, organized, professional, talented, and awesome to work with!!! read more

My wedding decor was stunning and vibrant- and it was all due to this lovely lady! Satvir has such classy taste and really listens to what the customer wants. Consultation: She never asked me what my budget was... which I loved. I hate when people try to gauge how much you are willing to spend on a particular item for your wedding, Hello, its a wedding and things change, You may be able to upsell me if you have something so spectacular that I just *have* to have! This is what I love about Satvir. I walked into our free consultation with only one look in mind- the ceremony cite (we had a gorgeous gazebo we transformed into a mandap). I told her what I had envisioned and she made suggestions having done weddings at the SMM. I told her everything I wanted and she took note of it all. We moved onto the reception decor, which I hadn't given much thought, and went through her books full of decor/place settings/centerpieces, etc. She has prices on her pictures and her centerpiece collections come with a beautiful overlay in the color of your choice! I told her everything I wanted and came up with a final count. I really thought I was going to spend over $10k on my fresh flowers and decor, but to my surprise, the estimate came out to be about 1/4 of that for both ceremony and reception! Holy shit! I was able to keep everything I wanted!! Delivery: Home: My mom really wanted our home decorated for my mehndi night. Satvir came a month or so before the wedding to evaluate the house and the look I wanted. I wanted a really classic looking mehndi night, so we had a beautiful backdrop, throw pillows on the floor, I mean, people who saw pictures of my house thought I was doing my mehndi somewhere else and not my own home! Talk about a transformation! Mandap- I was so anxious to see my mandap and to see how Satvir transformed my vision into reality. I basically had her string large strings of carnations (as tall as me) from the gazebo as my backdrop. My family and friends kept commenting how gorgeous the mandap was while I was getting dressed! I wanted to see it so bad, I had my mom snap a pic of it while I was getting my hair done! The picture did not do it justice. As I walked down the isle, the only thing I noticed other than my soon to be hubby was how beautiful my mandap was! My photographer even commented on how vibrant all the colors were! Satvir did a fantastic job! Reception- The hotel made a snafu and gave Satvir limited time to set up the reception area... but, Satvir being amazing as she is, hauled ass and got my recpetion cite setup in basically an hour and half. The decor looks amazing. The lighting Satvir did around the ballroom made it have such a romantic setting! I had orchids immersed in water with candles floating atop as my centerpieces, I mean, the room looked spectacular. Overall: I had so many friends and family comment that I probably spent over $10,000 on my decor alone! I, of course, nodded and smiled because this is what Satvir does! Everything looks like a million bucks - the taste and quality Satvir has is high class. She can make pretty much anything look good! I would recommend her to anyone! I have recommended her to friends and family already, two of whom have already contracted with Satvir. Guys, she is amazing! I wouldn't hesitate going in for a consultation with Satvir! indian or not, she can make your day turn into an event people will talk about for months to come! read more

I'm not much for writing yelp reviews, but if there is ever a person that needs some kudos its Satvir. 1. Her work is amazing, literally amazing. Our wedding decor blew eveyrone away. 2. You will not find a better priced decorator. Period. We had a 500 person wedding and spent roughly $7000. Quotes that we got from other "fair priced" decorators landed us in the $15,000 range. IT wasn't even close. You want to keep it resonable yet classy, she is your lady. 3. She was very professional and everything was done on time. She isn't the most bubbly lady in the word but you deal with enough bubbly people who don't get $hit done in the wedding industry. I would take her hustle and price any day over those chumps. read more

We hired Bobby for our wedding this past May in Monterey/Pebble Beach. She was one of the best decisions we made - Bobby sees you through the whole wedding planning process, and goes beyond the day-of-coordination duties. She has amazing vendor recommendations and you can't go wrong with her picks. We had to move our outdoor wedding indoors due to rain, and Bobby was there every step of the way. She makes it a point to understand your vision from the beginning and sees you through the end. I didn't expect to feel so calm through it all. I felt that I had a friend in Bobby more than anything and am grateful that we chose her. read more

Great service. It is always a pleasure working with Satbir and team. Very professional to the core and they serve with a smile. The team they use to do the bussing, assembly of equipment and service are beyond par. Of all the decorators that we have used, she is one who takes the least time to set up decorations and to take them down. This saves in rental charges especially when one hall rental is on an hourly basis. read more

Highly professional and a pleasure to work with. Satvir made it easy for my husband and I to have our dream wedding without ripping a new hole in our bank account. She will work with your budget and over deliver. She even threw in a few extra decorations on the day of the wedding. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend using SB arts for your events read more

I wish Yelp had an option to give bazillion stars because SB arts deserves it!! Satvir did an amazing job for our wedding!! We told her our budget and she definitely delivered for the budget we gave her. She was understanding, flexible and accommodating of my DIYs :) we all loved her work. Decor selection was the most stressful part of our wedding plan because we had barely any time to research and select a decorator but I'm so glad we went her in the end:) read more

Long overdue review... Overall our wedding and reception decor was a masterpiece. Wedding on 5/23/14 and Reception 5/24/14 with 650+ people. I wanted Elegant and classy and Satvir did exactely that. Satvir and her sister, Bobbi, are amazing as a team. Bobbi was my Day of coordinator. She really was nice to work with. I appreciate her fistiness when you are dealing with so many guests. But she remained graceful. Definitly get these two for your event. Thanks again Satvir and Bobbi! read more

Just want to give a huge huge shoutout and very big thank you for Satvir (SB arts) and my wedding coordinator (Shalini) who basically teamed up to make my wedding day just absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, it was quite easy to meet with Satvir and she had it all at her place a one stop shop for everything you can need/want for the big day. From just meeting with her a couple of times to doing a walk through she took in every single detail that I had in mind and made it more amazing than i could have imagined. Everybody commented on how beautiful the mandap/ceremony and the reception set up was. Room was completely flipped and both just made it such a magical night. Satvir you were very easy and kind to work with and glad that you were super quick with all emails and responses to make my planning go smoothly as well. Thank you Satvir for everything you did to make it look wonderful and above and beyond what i could have imagined! Shalini and I hit the ground running quickly and she really helped keep me on track for the big day. She was extremely friendly and easy to work with to help assure me that the day of coordination would go smoothly. That it did and just glad I ended up going with a combo of people and vendors who had worked together because it made it that much easier to coordinate and make sure everything was perfect for the big day. Thank you both so much for making our wedding so memorable and would recommend all to work with both Satvir and Shalini! read more
