    If you're on the fence about investing in a wedding coordinator, this is your sign to go ahead and do it - especially Hanna. Even if you think you're a type A bride like me (you know, the type that is extremely particular and has color-coded spreadsheets), you NEED Hanna in your wedding planning process. Whilst I already had all of my wedding vendors booked and my own version of the wedding timeline, Hanna was absolutely instrumental in refining details that I hadn't even thought of. For example, she took care of storing our gift cards during the reception, post-ceremony waste disposal - and other simple things like reminding me to bring a steamer to our hotel. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Hanna called to check up on us and calmed us down in moments where we felt overwhelmed with our to-do list. Hanna's soft and soothing demeanor really helped us (particularly me!) to de-stress and take peace in the fact that she'd have everything under control. Prior to the wedding, Hanna also individually contacted all our vendors and shared the master timeline to ensure everyone was on the same page. Even our parents and bridal parties had great things to say about Hanna - which tells you a lot about her personality and management style. Other examples of how she went over and above for our special day include: testing our DIY champagne tower to ensure it worked, repurposing our ceremony flowers for the reception, getting me fuzzy slippers when my feet hurt from dancing in heels, attending our final on-site venue meeting in person, setting up over 100 candles and storing our equipment in our cars at the end of the night. Hanna managed the logistics of our 14 hour wedding day so seamlessly and ensured everyone was in the right place at the right time. She was able to navigate our 200 person Indian wedding and did it with a genuine interest in learning about the cultural details. Before the wedding, she asked all the right questions about the key religious components of our ceremony so she knew exactly what was supposed to happen - and she ensured that it all ran smoothly. If something goes wrong on your wedding day, sometimes you just don't want to be the point of contact for questions about the issue. This is where Hanna was also extremely useful - she was thoroughly prepared enough to know exactly how to deal with the situation. She allowed myself and my husband to really let go of the "planning" reins and enjoy the moments of our day. My husband and I can truthfully say that hiring Hanna was the best investment we made for our wedding in July!

    First off, Hanna is amazing! She thought of all the details I didn't. She brought everything to life for my wedding day. She took the time to understand what we really wanted out of our day. When my friends and I were deep in conversations, I forgot we were in a closed room and it felt like we were sitting at a table in a forest instead! We loved all the fun and pretty details in the woodland room. We loved the other rooms too and appreciate how we were able to walk through all of them, take pics, and play around! We loved all of the food and drinks that were served. We had blueberry scones, tea, lemonade, various finger sandwiches, salad, cheesecake, and sparkling cider. We were able to take home the leftover food and we had plenty to eat between the 6 of us. Denise is friendly and easy to communicate with both via email and in person. I'm so glad I reserved her woodland room for my bridal shower. She made the day feel so special and fun! I would recommend Pretty Tea Parties for anyone interested in doing an unforgettable get together! I hope to book with Denise again for future celebrations! :)

The teas themselves are fairly basic, and I recommend letting them know about any allergies ahead of time otherwise they can get a bit ruffled. That said, they do offer gluten-free options, and their gluten-free scone was fabulous!

Jessica is a GODSEND and even our close friends and family kept calling her Superwoman. We hired her for day-of wedding coordination services, but really starting from a couple months out, Jessica was such a vital part of our wedding preparation process. Working with her you can always expect enthusiasm, preparedness, professionalism, and organization. I am incredibly type A as I used to work in event planning as well, and she gave me the space to be detail-oriented and specific while still offering so much support, advice, and flexibility. I didn't have to worry about the tiniest things because Jessica was already there solving it or picking up the pieces (literally - during our wedding someone dropped and shattered glass on the dance floor and within 2 seconds Jessica was sprinting towards it with a broom & dustpan). Every Zoom meeting we had left us feeling calm, peaceful, and confident in our wedding planning process.  Our actual wedding day was executed perfectly. When hiccups or delays inevitably occur, she handles them with calm and immediate problem-solving that literally no one can tell there was a hiccup at all. Her timelines are impeccable. I didn't have to worry about a single thing and still am in awe with how perfectly everything looked and ran. She communicated with all our vendors and guests with clarity and respect and was the glue that made all the components of our day come together cohesively. All our decorations were placed perfectly. We had a complicated wedding that required a complete flip of the room from ceremony to reception -- and it was all done seamlessly. Aside from her immense skill, poise, and grace as a master planner, I also cannot stress enough how GREAT of a person Jessica is - trust me when I say that your wedding day is so much more satisfying and memorable when the vendors you work with are good human beings who are genuinely excited for you - and that's exactly what Jessica is. She was very COVID-conscious and made us feel extra safe every time we met in person as well. She went above and beyond for us and she will always be such a positive memory from our day. :) Also, you're not going to find more reasonably priced wedding coordinators/planners in the Bay Area with the skill level Jessica has. She is so fair with her pricing and doesn't hike up what she charges just because everything in the wedding industry is crazy expensive (although to be fair, she could, probably should, and definitely deserves all the raises in the world). Forever a fan of superwoman Jessica Harris - thank you for everything, we love you!!!
