Before meeting her, we had spoken with several planners and were getting the sense that a Filoli wedding might not be possible within our price range. Before we were about to give up on our dream venue, Elise thankfully took our call. From our very first conversation, she immediately put us at ease and reassured us that we could absolutely create something beautiful within our budget. She was intentional from the beginning, taking the time to genuinely get to know us--our personalities and preferences--before diving into the planning process. Because of that, every idea she presented felt thoughtful, personal, and curated to who we are as a couple. Throughout the year of planning, Elise was attentive, patient, and a joy to collaborate with. There were many times when she'd proactively suggest ways to stay within budget, even when it meant prioritizing us over her own bottom line. That level of integrity and care speaks volumes about her character. On the day of the wedding, I was stressed and anxious (as many brides are!), but having Elise at my side helped me find a sense of calm. She has this grounding presence that lets you know that everything is under control. Somehow, she managed to greet guests as they arrived, oversee every moving part of the event, and still remain by my side whenever I needed her. There were countless "save-the-day" moments. One that stands out: minutes before walking down the aisle, I was frantically trying to handwrite my typed vows onto notecards, hands shaking and overwhelmed. Out of nowhere, Elise stepped in and told us there was a printer on the property and promptly took care of the situation, thoughtfully printing my vows in index-card format so I didn't have to hold a big piece of paper at the altar. It wasn't until the wedding day itself that I fully realized just how much coordination she and her team had handled behind the scenes. She had even thought of small but meaningful touches, like IV hydration packets for our guests. Throughout the evening, I kept thinking, "Wow, Elise really pulled all of this off." Friends and family told us that it was the most beautifully organized and seamlessly executed wedding they had ever attended. Many also commented how stressful it must have been for my husband and me to plan a wedding of such scale and beauty, and I'd laugh and say, "Not at all--that was all Elise!". We gave her a vision, and she handled the rest! Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives, filled with joy and memories we'll cherish forever. And it was largely due to Elise and her team, whose kindness, foresight, and meticulous preparation were evident throughout the entire day.     Hiring Courtney was easily the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. "Above and…read morebeyond" does not begin to cover Courtney's level of service, care, and thoughtfulness. Throughout the months we worked together, Courtney always made us feel like a priority, though she was no doubt juggling so much. On our wedding day, every detail we worked on was executed flawlessly, and we were truly able to breathe and be present because we knew Courtney had it all under control. We got many compliments from our guests on how smooth and relaxed the day felt, and that is a testament to Courtney's incredibly hard work. I would also note that Courtney was completely respectful of our budget and priorities. She puts in the time to learn what is important to you, and keeps that in mind as she offers excellent, candid advice. Courtney also went out of her way to save us money in ways we simply would not have thought of on our own. A final note to anyone on the fence about hiring a coordinator: Do it! (Specifically, Courtney!) I consider myself a fairly organized and detail-oriented person, so when I started planning, I wasn't sure that I needed a coordinator. But I now believe that the more organized you are, the more you appreciate and value a partner at (or, in Courtney's case, way above) your level. Weddings are truly their own category of event, and there is no substitute for a coordinator's guidance and experience--especially someone as amazing as Courtney!

My daughter was dealing with a lot of stress because of her job at the FDA/politics. Also, the three did not like the extra cost of the Wedding Planner & viewing it as a needless expense. Her wedding plans was not her main priority even thought she wanted a 100 person wedding. One thing her and her fiancé agreed on is they wanted to invite pretty much everyone. That of course scared the living daylights out of me since I knew the couple was not rich. I think at one point I even threatened her that I was going to bring 100 McDonald's hamburgers for the reception if she didn't get on the planning. I asked a good friend who is a successful caterer in her own right (40yr +); who could she recommend. I might add that she has worked with many Wedding Planners through out her career. She instantly said without hesitation that Courtney really impressed her. My friend went on to explain about the wedding planning world. It is expensive and items can be recommended pushing the wedding easily out of budget. She liked that Courtney stayed within the wedding budgets. They did spend a little more but it was reasonable. All I knew was Sarah had to schedule/confirm many different moving parts in advance and she was not doing that. Another thing was to not go into debt or have a wedding beyond her means. I first called Courtney and immediately knew she was exactly what my daughter needed. Courtney and my daughter have the same temperament and easy to get along attitude. She gently gave the bride and groom a reality check about the cost of weddings. I called Courtney and immediately found her professional but with a very warm personality; much like my daughter. Also, I liked her enthusiasm about the project. I felt very comfortable confiding sensitive details regarding the wedding. This was a major plus. I set up a three-way call with Courtney, myself and my daughter, Sarah. I introduced them and ended my part of the call. My daughter immediately hired her. My daughter is pretty darn smart. I loved that I could stop pulling my hair out and gnashing my teeth. Courtney would take care of my daughter and I could just have normal stress free conversations again with Sarah. And the most important thing; Eric and Sarah could have the wedding of their dreams close to budget too! I usually talk to my daughter once a week just to chat. She would tell me that Courtney had assignments she and Eric had to accomplish monthly/weekly. Did I mention Courtney is brilliant! It was so amazing that Courtney orchestrated/worked with the venue, the menu and bar, music, fresh flowers and photography. Each one was performed beautifully. Courtney made it so easy because she did all the work. I think the only thing I was asked to do was to provide about 30 songs to the song list, attend the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Of course my wonderful daughter ask for a mother/daughter dance which include a snippet of MJ, Thriller & George Michael, Careless Whisper. Warning: be careful what you tell your 4 yr old; they might remember. Really that was it. I don't know how to describe this absolutely gorgeous & fun wedding. Everyone in the wedding party was stress-free, which is exactly what you wish for. I loved how Courtney would listen to input. We could trust her to tell us the truth on whether it was appropriate or not and we listened to her suggestions. One thing I insisted on was that the bride & groom give her a generous tip. It was obvious that Courtney worked very hard on this wedding and presented an absolute gorgeous event a little over budget. BTW, the tip is non-negotiable but the amount is. I insisted that the tips were good because the wedding was that great. My daughter later told me I was right to insist on a Wedding Planner. I'm still laughing. The bride and groom, the wedding party will remember a perfect & relaxing event. The chamborg bong was an event in it self and everyone should have a very well behaved coyote attending. She took the time to understand my vision fully and provided invaluable insight throughout the process. She worked seamlessly with our other vendors, taking the weight of all the logistics so we could enjoy the weeks leading up to the wedding. When we got to wedding weekend she brought a calm and competent energy to the rehearsal and day-of that really set the tone and allowed us to relax and enjoy.     My partner and I were looking for guidance and help in planning our wedding celebration. We were kindly welcomed by Leah and introduced to our planner, Yoko, who was amazing, carefully guiding and making our vision a reality, accommodating our preferences and budget, and helping us with the design and layout of the big day with all of our vendors. She provided multiple vendor options, communicated closely with them and us throughout the bidding and hiring process, and ensured we were all on the same page from planning through the walkthrough and up to the day of the event. One of the greatest things about this process was the clear, concise communication and organization that made planning, payments, and decision-making understandable, step by step, rather than a labyrinth of crossed wires and deadlines.  The day of our wedding was as effortless as could be. It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers.  We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day.  Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. From the very beginning, she worked seamlessly alongside Kendra and her team to coordinate every single detail to perfection. The entire day felt effortless on our end because Rene had everything completely under control. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking--our lakefront ceremony on-site was stunning and set the tone for the entire celebration. Guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful and serene it was. From there, the night just kept getting better. We had an incredible violinist (who even performed with Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl!) which added such a unique and elevated touch. Our grand entrance with cold sparklers was unforgettable and felt like something straight out of a movie. And then--our Glambot moment! It truly felt like we were at the Oscars, and our guests had an absolute blast with it. To make things even more unforgettable, our Frenchie was our flower girl and made a grand entrance in a Porsche kids ride-on car, completely stealing the show. And as if that wasn't enough, our 100lb Sulcata tortoise was our ring bearer--yes, really! Rene handled all of these unique details flawlessly like it was just another day at the office. Dinner was elegant and delicious, perfectly plated and timed, and the cocktails were amazing--our guests loved that the bar stayed open all night. Rene also did an incredible job keeping the energy up and guests engaged from start to finish. There was never a dull moment. We've had countless guests tell us it was "the wedding of the century," and we owe so much of that to Rene.     My husband and I decided to renew our vowels after 25 years. Such an occasion deserved the best…read morelandscape for perfect pictures and a grande bar nestled under an outside space under majestic trees that could set any person into a romantic frenzie. The staff under the direction of 2 generations of strong women coordinators made sure that nothing was overlooked. Being a bride again can be difficult sometimes due to many different personalities in the bridal team, however Renee and her fabulous and inspiring mother made sure my glass was always full with my favorite beverage.
