Mobofoto is amazing! I highly recommend them for any event, no matter how big or small. Great communication, friendly, accommodating, professional and smooth and safe transaction when paying. I was planning my 30th birthday and I was looking around for different services and I came across Mobofoto. I contacted the company and expressed what I was looking for and Founder-Joseph Sterling contacted me right away. He even met with me and we went over everything, provided suggestions and took the time to go over all the services that they offer and he even looked into other services that I wanted. Months leading up to the party he was in contact with me via email. Any questions I had, he responded right away. I hired them for a DJ/MC, photobooth, Door Greeter, Bartender, table and chair linens, slidehow protector, and a fog machine for my entrance. My birthday event was around 200 people and they did a wonderful job setting up and preparing. The day of the party, they arrived on time and began setting up. They were all friendly and great to not only work with, but enjoyable to party with as well. I would definitely hire Mobofoto again and I have been recommending them to all my friends and family. Thank you Joseph and Jacob, I look forward to working with you again in the future. -Christie read more

We hired Mobofoto Booths for a launch event. The good: -Their attendant was really nice and tried to be useful and get our brand out. Thumbs up. The bad: -We asked them to put our logo on the pictures for an additional $150 -- they didn't. -They delivered the photos over a week later, which in event time is an eternity. You use these for marketing materials and at that point it's almost useless. -They didn't deliver the photos in any sort of form that made sense to upload or share. The photo strips were doubled up (what?), so no one would share those. The other photos had no branding so the people could have been anywhere which defeats the purpose of a photo booth with branding. -We asked for a partial refund for their slowness and they refused citing that they were "prompt" in their responses. We called them two days after the event for our photos, which they ignored. We emailed them several times. One time they responded and said, "we'll get them to you soon" which was 3-days later. They were so slow and their format was so weird, that it was 100% not worth our money. I would never use them again. read more

DID NOT SHOW UP FOR MY EVENT!!! Sent me an email 20 mins before my event started, saying his employee called in sick! Totally unacceptable especially since they were supposed to arrive early. read more

Seriously Loved having them at my wedding on Friday October 10. I found their services on Thumbtack. I was able to get an awesome deal through that website. Definitely added some fun for our wedding guests. They conveniently had options to pay through PayPal. Their attendants were so helpful. I would definitely have them at another one of my functions. We used Mobofoto for the 75th Anniversary Open House for Millbrae Nursery School on Saturday, October 5th. What a success and it was so much fun!!! Jacob was there and he was so professional with his information and service. The photo booth was a really fun part of the celebration! It was a HUGE hit!! There is a great scrapbook with fun photos and signatures from those who attended the celebration for the school to keep. There was a lot of planning and research that went into this events details. The pricing is great compared to other photo booth companies. We are definitely using Mobofoto for the Millbrae Nursery School's 76th Casino Night Gala in March! Thank you Jacob! read more

Was a fantastic addition to our birthday celebration ! Lots of the adults loosened up after a drink and got into the booth with costumes on and had a great time !! The photos printed out (2 copies) right away. One set was used for a memory album of our event and the other was to keep! Great idea! read more

Mobofoto Booths - Two guests in the photo booth !! - Event Photography Near Me - Concord, California

We had a great experience with Jacob and Sterling. They kept it professional, at the same time they were enthusiastic and energetic. The props they brought were awesome (including the mustaches!! Thanks guys!) They went out of their way to get my daughters favorite color for the backdrop. They were so friendly and happy...everyone felt really comfortable with them. We even got my 90+ year old grandparents into the booth! On the business end....when we were corresponding prior to the day of the party, they answered all of my questions and emails promply via multiple emails and texts. They arrived to the party early and were set up quickly. At the end of the party, they cleaned up after themselves in a timely fashion...leaving no trace of themselves behind for me to clean. At the party, they actually have a scrapbook area set up so your guests can personalize their pictures that get put into the scrapbook. Great idea! And they post an online photo album for you to look at afterwards. We just looked at ours...they are all so funny! Thanks for the great time and the great service MoBoFoTo. Would definitely use again and recommend to all my friends. Kathryn Patricio read more

I hired Mobofoto to do a photo booth for my wedding on May 25th and it was a blast. My guests said that they had a great time with all the props and that Sterling & Jacob were awesome at the event. In preparation for the event I found that they were extremely professional. Couldn't have had a better experience. Thanks for being a part of my wedding and making the day even more awesome!! We also got a nice package afterwards that included all the digital copies of the pictures. Thanks again guys! read more

The pics were great, the props were great, and the scrapbook is awesome! I am still laughing at all of the photos and funny faces. It really allows everyone to be a goofy kid again, even if it's for a few seconds. Thanks a million, and I will definitely be renting the booth again and again!! read more

Thanks Jacob (and thank you other guy whom I didnt meet personally but he was assisting the whole time at the party) It was my daughter's baptismal party! It was weird at first at it is not an actual photo booth yet theirs stood out as they were there the whole time assisting our guests with questions and props! Thank you so much for the scrapbook! We love it! Thank you for also letting my guests know that they can keep coming back and take pictures. We will be using you guys again and will be referring to family and friends!!! We are so very pleased we made the decision to have Mobofoto Booths at our annual school carnival instead of trying to do it ourselves! It's obvious from all the pictures of the smiling faces that everyone enjoyed it tremendously! We'll definitely use them again, they made it so easy and fun! Loved all the pictures and props too! Awesome!! read more

We used Mobofoto for my daughters first birthday party (80 people) at our house. The planning process was great, Sterling and Jacob were who we dealt with and they were quick to respond and answer any questions we had. When it came time for the party, things were much different. They sent out a girl that didn't bother to introduce herself even though we were told Jacob would be there. She seemed very frazzled the entire time and wasn't the most friendly with our guests. We added the scrapbook onto our package and the quality of what was done was pretty low considering the price. Luckily our guests were happy (hence the 3 stars) but for us, for what we paid we were expecting a bit more in quality and a lot more in service. read more

We used Mobofoto this weekend for an event with 250 people - their service exceeded our expectations and my guests love it. Super entertaining!!! Thank you, Mobofoto, for taking great care of our guests at my daughters wedding on May 17, 2014. It was sooo much fun!! Our guests went wild for the photo booth. Jacob was absolutely great, and he made the evening just perfect!! Sterling was so great as well. When I first inquired about reserving Mobofoto for my daughters wedding, he was completely wonderful. Sterling was always very quick to respond to my emails and always very nice and a complete professional. Jacob brought alot of props and created a perfect wedding scrapbook keepsake on the spot as a gift for the newlyweds. And when Mobofoto's time was done, Jacob even brought the scrapbook and laid it on the gift table. It was awesome! My daughter and her new husband took the scrapbook with them on their honeymoon and they got to really enjoy all of the photos and relive the fun that everyone had at their wedding. I highly recommend Mobofoto. They were alot of fun. Thanks a million, Sterling and Jacob. I will be calling on you for our next event!! :) Sincerely, Leticia Shelley read more

Mobofoto Booths - Even the dog likes it! - Event Photography Near Me - Concord, California

I chaired the Pumpkin Walk for my elementary school and was under pressure to get a photo booth just a couple weeks before the event. Not only was it the best deal on Living Social compared to other companies, but they were available and extended it to 3 hours. Sterling was very helpful with suggestions for what we should charge for each session. We made our money back. We had such a great time and looking at all the happy faces on the pictures, our school will have them at all our future events. I am so pleased! read more

We loved their set up and the attendant. Props were awesome.... We had an awesome experience!!

I was organizing a Halloween Party for a local family homeless shelter. So our budget was limited. I found Motofoto through Thumbtack. They were very reasonably priced. The attendant arrived on time and was all set up and ready to go for the start of the party. She was extremely professional and worked with the space that we had available. The booth was a HUGE hit. The party was for about 60 adults and 60+ children. The attendant worked with them well. The families loved it. I would absolutely use them again and I would recommend to anyone who asked. read more

First of all if there was an option for 10 star I would go with it!!! I was really happy with the service. Over the phone Joseph was really patient and explain everything very clearly... Jacob was there and was very nice and kind to all in the event itself. We celebrate wedding to my brother and it was definitely one of the highlight of the evening! They showed up right on time and even stay 30 minutes after because of the action that goes around the booth. Everyone was so happy to take a great souvenir home and of course my brother and his new wife was thrilled from the memory album that they received at the end.. Overall it was amazing experience and we'll definitely use them for any event in the future!! Thank you so much for a great time!! read more

This photobooth rental was pretty horrible. All I wanted to do was take pictures, but button to start it wouldn't work & the man who ran the photobooth wasn't there to fix it b/c he went to Taco Bell. They also said I would get a photo album, but not all the pictures were put in. I really was only able to take one picture with my friends since it kept breaking down MULTIPLE times. read more

Hired Mobofoto as a last resort this past weekend and boy where do I start with Mobofoto? Let's start with the set up... If you are a professional photobooth provider you should not show up with a pop up tent and digital camera connected to a printer, extremely low budget and unappealing. Moving on to the prop selection: I am sure Mobofoto picked these up at a 99cent store a couple years ago and forgot the sanitizer, also extremely low budget. Their customer service, or lack thereof, was below desirable... If you're in the entertainment business a chair should not have more personality than your employees. Now for the issue that upset me the most: they refused to print an extra copy of the photos when requested by my guest (when multiple people were in the photo and wanted a copy). I am the PAYING customer and if I ask you to print a duplicate, you print the duplicate no questions asked. I have hired multiple photobooth providers and have never been denied additional copies of my photos. So overall I suggest you just go to Costco and pick up a pop up tent and some props at a party supply store and use your iPhone and a wireless printer. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau (let the investigation begin... I hope MoboFoto has a business license). Hire at your own risk, you've been warned! read more

I found Mobofoto through Thumbtack, and I am so glad that I did. Mobofoto provided a photobooth and a DJ for our wedding last weekend. The photobooth was a HUGE HIT!!! Everyone took a ton of pictures in there (even my older more reserved relatives.) We had an enclosed booth and the camera took great high quality HD photos and the onscreen instructions were really easy to follow (even for the non-tech savvy individuals like myself.) I loved the variety of props that they provided and the take home scrapbook is something I will cherish for many years. The DJ also did a fabulous job, especially considering that I didn't provide him with a playlist. He was professional (not cheesy like 99% of the wedding DJs out there.) The songs that he played kept everyone on the dance floor and were songs that all age groups could enjoy. He made all the necessary announcements that I requested without any prompts or reminders. The booking process was really simple and Sterling was always super prompt with his email correspondence. I would recommend these guys to anyone, and their prices CANNOT be beat... trust me I called almost every photobooth company and DJ in the tri-valley and they were by far the most reasonable. They even allowed me to book a service time period of 2.5 hours, versus the 4 hour minimum required by many other companies. read more
