We used Jenny & Chad for our August 2017 wedding and couldn't be happier! We instantly felt at ease with them during the process of interviewing photographers and not to mention their prices were competitive compared to other photographers so the choice was an easy one. During the wedding planning process, Jenny and Chad were so easy to get in touch with, knowledgeable, and definitely provided some good insights for the big day. On our wedding day, not only did we love having Jenny and Chad apart of it but our wedding party loved them as well!! They were fun and lighthearted and made for a wonderful experience getting all of our photos in before the ceremony. Chad was great at getting everyone to laugh at the right moment and Jenny was awesome at capturing all the photos we wanted (family/friends/details) and keeping us on time to boot! We highly recommend them for your wedding day! Thank you Jenny & Chad for a wonderful wedding experience and some pretty awesome photos that we will cherish forever. read more

We consider ourselves very lucky to have been able to book Chad and Jenny for our August 2018 wedding in Napa - they did an amazing job! We got their name through a personal recommendation, and after looking at a few other websites I could tell that their style fit exactly what we were looking for - natural, effortless, and photos that just make you feel happy. Their prices were in line with other photographers we were looking at, including travel to Napa... all around a great process to work with them both. We really don't consider ourselves photogenic and I was suuuuuper nervous about wedding photos, but Chad and Jenny are so sweet and made us feel comfortable to be ourselves! We couldn't be happier with all of our photos :) Thank you Custock crew - we love you guys!!! read more

This is a long overdue review. Jenny and Chad are truly talented photographers and we could not recommend them more highly! They photographed both our engagement session and our wedding last summer. We actually did not interview any other photographers during our search. We fell in love with the work that they displayed on their website, and they were so friendly and knowledgeable when we video-chatted that we didn't feel like there was a need to interview anyone else! For most people, it's not easy being in front of a camera. Jenny and Chad are so personable that they make you feel very comfortable. Our engagement session was so much fun! It was definitely good practice for our wedding day. We still to this day get compliments from friends and family on how great our wedding photos turned out. We are so happy with our decision and we hope to be able to work with Jenny and Chad again in the future! read more

Chad and Jenny are the BEST! I might as well get right to the point, because its true! They photographed both our engagement and wedding pictures and they are above and beyond everything that we could have ever wanted. My husband and I were both a little camera shy before our first session with them. They made us feel so comfortable and knew what to do when we didn't. By the end of it, it felt like we had known them forever. We feel like they are good friends and we are so thankful for their time, talent, and for capturing all the special moments that we want to remember forever. read more

Custock Photography - Wedding at Shelley's Country Garden - May 29, 2015 - Event Photography Near Me

We absolutely love Chad & Jenny and are so glad that we found them. When we met it was so easy to chat and we loved their work so we were very set on working with them for our engagement & wedding photos. It was really important to us to have the image files for print, so they were a perfect fit for us. One piece of advice I got when searching for our photographer was to pick someone you can hang out with all day - coz you do! Chad & Jenny are some of the nicest, most genuine people we have ever met! We had so much fun on our engagement shoot and it really helped to get to know them and learn how to have pictures taken of ourselves - which is not easy! We got those photos back super quick and we were so grateful - I wanted photos on our save-the-dates, and I was cutting it close, timeline-wise. We LOVED our photos and the whole experience. The candid shots are so gorgeous and they really have a way of making you feel comfortable. On our wedding day we had such a blast shooting with them. Chad is so enthusiastic about getting amazing shots and the right lighting. Jenny pays attention to detail and keeps us on time and everyone in line! They make an amazing team, and we feel really lucky to have had them as our photographers. Looking back on the ceremony, I couldn't remember seeing them at all until we were walking down the aisle, married! I knew they got all the shots and was impressed with their ability to blend! When we got our photos I was beyond ecstatic! They are gorgeous. I love the lighting, I loved every single shot. They captured so many amazing moments and I felt like I was there on our big day, all over again, reliving this very special day in our lives. It was an amazing experience, just to look through the photos. We didn't get a videographer, so at the end of the day, the photos are what we have to remind us of that day and I couldn't be happier with what we have. I couldn't see myself ever using another photographer for future special moments, and hope that we get to work together in the near future. read more

We we're looking for a photographer to capture our May wedding in a more journalistic perspective, ya know, instead of the posey look... We wanted the photos to bring out the real moments we were experiencing and record the memories we we're making. We had already seen their work and after speaking with Chad and Jenny, we knew they totally just got us! Meeting with them just confirmed that we wanted to use them. They are fun but professional. My husband and I had never taken photos together and we were kinda shy. Chad and Jenny talk you through it and have a way of making you feel so comfortable. Our photos turned out amazing. They can take an area where you might not see all of its beauty and turn it into the most beautiful scene within a photo. True talent. When your planning a wedding, there's a lot of hard work that you don't want to be overlooked; They stay connected the entire time so that they don't miss any of the details. We will definitely be using them again in our future. They are awesome. :] read more

Chad and Jenny have quickly become two of my favorite people, so much so that I am trying to convince my husband to move so they can take photos of every aspect of our lives. We used Chad & Jenny for our wedding in early October 2014. They were everything we wanted and more, they are extremely talented, the nicest people you'd ever meet and so easy to work with. I am not used to being in front of the camera, nor is my husband and they made us feel right at home. They staged the perfect first look and site for our photos and made sure we were comfortable in every aspect. They gave us tips, made us laugh and I cannot imagine spending my wedding day with any other people. Looking at the photos they took, we are in awe. We chose not to get a videographer and I don't miss it at all, because these beautiful photos fully captured our day. They were so flexible with our time, and also helped keep us on schedule. We loved them, want them to be our best friends and are so lucky we were introduced to them. I would recommend them for any event in your life. read more

I don't even know where to begin. Jenny and Chad are simply THE BEST in the industry. We are so incredibly happy we chose them to photograph our engagement and wedding, and went above and beyond with what we wanted. When we met with them, we instantly knew we wanted them to be our photographers. First, they are a husband and wife duo, dream team basically, that make you feel completely at ease and comfortable! They are incredibly easy going and HILARIOUS which makes awkward lovely dovey photos a piece of cake. They truly become your friends throughout the entire wedding process. On my wedding day, we had a couple stressful, meltdown moments, and I am forever grateful for Jenny & Chad and their constant support and humor that was able to calm me down in both in my engagement and wedding day. I loved having them there the hours before the ceremony started because they didn't feel like strangers taking photos in the bridal suite, but good friends sharing the moment and laughing with my bridesmaids and family. There is nothing better than that ;) They are so easy to chat with and discuss ideas, they know and execute exactly what your vision is and takes it beyond anything you were thinking. They are truly professional and incredible photographers. Simply put, their work and their vibe is unmatched to anything else I've seen on Facebook/yelp/Theknot, you name it! I am completely blown away by our wedding photos we just received and have received countless calls/texts about the quality and breathtaking moments they captured. We HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Chad & Jenny for any couple looking for outstanding photographers. We will most definitely be using them in the future for any professional photos needed. We love you guys so so so much and can't get over how lucky we are that you guys were our photographers!!! See you the future for some pregger photos ;) read more

Chad and Jenny photographed our wedding this past May, and we cannot stop saying enough good things about the pair. Not only are the photographs absolutely stunning, they both did an excellent job making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. In fact, we were so happy to have them at the wedding, they felt more like good friends with a camera in hand. They are the best! They worked the crowd, interacted and engaged our guests, everyone had an amazing time with them. The day of, the two of them were extremely calm and went with the flow of everything. One of their great qualities is that they are incredibly adaptable, so if things change, they always find a solution to make it work, and make it the best for the final outcome of the photographs. Leading up to the big day, they did an excellent job of communicating and staying in touch. Which was great because it allowed us to discuss the importance of specific photos and really fine tune what we wanted. Overall, we highly recommend the pair, you'll have a one of a kind experience and your photos will turn out beautiful, we can't thank them enough! We're so happy to have these beautiful images for the rest of our lives. read more

We could not recommend Jenny and Chad more highly! Amazing, wonderful experience - seriously as good as it gets. Throughout the craziness of wedding planning, do yourself a favor and have the Custocks in your corner! From start to finish, this lovely, welcoming duo not only provided a warm and fun atmosphere for our engagement photos and wedding, they also brought incredibly valuable professional expertise and industry insights to all aspects of the event. They were in frequent contact with us, making sure we had all details covered and ensuring everything we wanted captured on the big day was. They even suggested schedule tweaks based on the number of shots wanted, the light in the area at the exact times, etc. We were so thankful to have made these changes - the day went much more smoothly. It was also so great to have both of them shooting for the entire day, and have the opportunity to get 'getting ready' shots of both me and my husband, despite being in different locations the day of the wedding. Most importantly, these two are a blast to hang out with and made the day that much more fun and special! THANK YOU Jenny and Chad! read more

The Custock's portfolio speaks for itself, they are incredible photographers through and through. On top of producing great work, they are quick to deliver your photos, and meticulously detailed in everything they do. But the best part about working with Chad & Jenny is that they are two incredible humans who will make your day that much more special. They are kind, patient, and have a presence that will put any bride and groom at ease. I cannot say enough good things about the Custock's and can say 100% they are the best decision I made when it came to my wedding (besides marrying my husband)! read more

Jenny & Chad are truly as good as it gets! They are the dream team when it comes to photographers!! Before even getting engaged, I knew that I wanted Jenny & Chad to be our photographers. I had seen some of their work on Facebook and on their website and was blown away by their photos. Their pictures truly seemed to capture the day/moment without the photos feeling "staged" or overproduced. They all have a really natural feel to them. So.. literally the day that I got engaged, I emailed Jenny to find out what weekends they would be available for our wedding. Yes, I chose the day of my wedding around their schedule! That's how much I loved their work! Not only do Jenny & Chad deliver stunning photos, but they are also the nicest people to work with. They are extremely professional and yet at the same time are so personable. During our engagement shoot, they made it a point to really get to know my husband and I so they could understand what we were looking for in our pictures. And as a result, they really understood exactly what we were looking for in our photos and our style. Jenny & Chad were not just our wedding photographers, they are our "life-long" photographers. I will use them again and again. read more

Using Jenny and Chad to take our family portraits was unlike any photo shoot experience I've ever had. Let's be real- photo shoots can be uncomfortable and stressful. Our experience with Jenny and Chad was completely the opposite. They have an eye for shots and keep it light. They took the reigns on positioning us in flattering ways and helping us to feel natural in front of the camera. I would use them for any occasion. They not only can take quality pictures, but they have an eye for beauty and capturing the magic :) Highly, highly recommend. read more

I recently worked with Jenny and Chad at a Wedding in May. I do wedding planning and they actually referred me to their client after I helped them with their wedding a few years back. They were great to work with then and just as wonderful this time around, too. They were both very professional and knowledgeable, helping the bride and groom capture the best moments of the day, as well as wrangling all the family and friends without even breaking a sweat. It is always a pleasure for me to work with photographers that can hold their own and have a great disposition as well. They kept everyone on time (my biggest challenge as a day-of coordinator) and the pictures came out AMAZING! I will definitely recommend them to my future clients and hope to work with them again. read more

Chad and Jenny have done newborn shoots for both of my kiddos. Not only did the pictures turn out beautifully, but it was also a really fun and special time. I like how they have great ideas and vision while keeping a very natural and calm environment. We couldn't be more happy with Custock Photography and look forward to the next newborn photo shoot. read more

I saw a friend's wedding that Chad and Jenny photographed and I booked them IMMEDIATELY! Just by their work, I was convinced. They were the very first vendor that I booked for my wedding. Their photos spoke for themselves, but once we met Jenny and Chad and got to talk about the day a little bit, I realized we had hired the Dream Team! They are truly the kindest people and care a lot about their clients and what is important to them. I didn't have a specific place in mind where I wanted to take pictures, so I gave Jenny and Chad the creative freedom to take us anywhere! They chose Fort Baker near the GG Bridge, and it was absolutely perfect! It was exactly what we had in mind. Taking pictures can be awkward sometimes, but we did not feel that at all with Jenny and Chad. They made us feel so comfortable and helped us take in each moment while they captured it. I could not be happier with how our photos turned out. I can't stop looking at them! Thank you Jenny and Chad!!! read more
