    We just got through holding our high school reunion there on Sept. 23 and can't say enough good things about Deja, Director of Weddings & Events as well as the staff that decorated tables, served the food and drinks! We met with Deja several times over the year in which we were planning and she was very helpful in making the reunion a success. I and all of the members of the reunion planning committee have attended some other events held there and everyone was a joy in part because of the friendly staff that prepare wonderful meals and serve great drinks! Which is why we chose them for our reunion and certainly would use them again!

    My hubby and I got married at Fairview 11.16 @ 4pm. WOW! Everything was perfect with Fairview from the beginning call with Kelley to the final goodbye on that magical night. Coordinator: Kelley - I can not brag on this amazing human enough. From our first talk, walk-through, emails, text, calls, multiple questions and meetings, she did an outstanding job!! Her advice, listening ear when everyone was getting on my nerves and calmness was greatly appreciated. Words can not express my gratitude. On the day of the wedding she took care of everything including me! Venue: Simple and gorgeous! The ceremony was right before sunset at 4:25 (I was late). No wind. A plane did go by but it's the airport next door and it wasn't super loud. I didn't do any of the gazebo decor but the background with the sparkling grass and white chairs, very elegant. The tent/reception was everything!! The reason I picked this venue was because of the tent. The drapery all around, with the spider lighting, twinkle lights and uplighting! Gorgeous! The place comes already decorated! Food: Even though I didn't eat any of appetizers, the food was good. Your typical wedding food but it was yummy. I don't recommend the veggie lasagna or the salmon. All the other salads, side dishes and main entrees were yummy. They have a really large menu. We had the food buffet style so there was so so much food. Everyone was able to eat twice. Bar: The drinks were great! The bartender Kathy was so friendly and made sure I had a drink all night. Our guest are still talking about how the drinks were great! Cake: I used their vendor, Mazzetti's for the cake. It was super moist, beautiful and yummy. The ladies at the bakery were very helpful and sent me pictures of cakes after I explained to them what I wanted. Fairview has affordable and flexible packages. They truly are a one stop shop, they have everything. I only used their vendor for the cake. We used our own DJ, who had the party going from the moment we stepped in the tent. I used Modish Events & Decor for my sweetheart table and wedding party tables. Go to one of their bridal fairs - you get prizes and discounts - which will pay off if you go with them. Thank you Kelley and Fairview for making our day spectacular.

    My husband and I had our wedding here just a few days ago and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We had an evening ceremony/reception so the sunset was perfect and so beautiful. The weather was great for the outdoor ceremony. For the reception, we added the extra spider drapery, twinkle lights, gazebo flowers, and backdrop which made the reception area look amazing. We also added the day of coordinator who was Myra. It was definitely needed. When she was there, things went smoothly. She left after dinner, which was not so great because it was much harder to coordinate things after that, but the night still went well. The DJ, bartenders, and staff were really nice. They also let us bring our own sparklers which was really nice. We had a guest count of 200 people. They all fit in the reception just fine with the photobooth, projector, and welcome table. It did not seem too crowded. The buffet was set up in a separate room which was fine. Our package included the floral centerpieces and we added the extra gazebo flowers. The flowers were actually not the colors we asked for. There was some miscommunication, but they were still beautiful so it was fine. Although there were some minor issues that could happen at any venue, our guests told us they really liked the venue and had a fun and amazing time (we did too!!) We would definitely recommend the venue!

    We held our parents' Celebration of Life at Fairview Metropolitan on July 30, 2021. Event planning is ultra stressful and the pandemic just added to the mix. However, Angela Muse (our event director) made the process so effortless. She had so many helpful suggestions and was a true joy to work with. Very professional and courteous. With her assistance, we were able to customize a package that truly honored our parents' memory. This reception was held right after the church and burial services. We decided on appetizers, bar service and buffet dinner for 150 guests. The funeral services took almost 3 hours. By the time we got to Fairview, everyone was pretty hungry. When we arrived, all the appetizers and the bar service were ready and our guests were able to enjoy them right away. Appetizers were fabulous (I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Tartar). The venue itself was beautifully set up. This was an afternoon event (no mood lighting) but it still had an elegant feel to it. We were also able to drop off the seating chart and pictures of our parents the day before our event (Fairview provided the easels). One less thing to do the day of the funeral. The buffet dinner was delicious and there was enough so that our guests could go for seconds if they wanted. Kudos to Kathy our bartender! Super friendly and kind. We felt so lucky to have her there. We had a video presentation and a Hula Show. We also had our brothers sing some songs and wanted to allot time for guests to pay tribute to our parents. DJ Andrew made all this happen. He provided the music, mikes, speakers and projection screen. The funeral ran long, and we arrived to the venue almost 45 minutes late. We were worried we'd go overtime with all we wanted to do, but DJ Andrew didn't let that happen. We were able to do all the presentations within our 4 hour time slot. He moved everything along so smoothly and didn't make it feel rushed. The dinner music was spot on for our family. We used the dance floor for the Hula Show and the singing which worked out perfectly. At the close of the event, he played 'Lovely Day'. That got everyone on the dance floor! He had mentioned to us that Celebrations of Life don't necessarily have to be sad occasions. He was right. Although we were sad to lose our parents, DJ Andrew made our event an unforgettable and true celebration of their lives. Many thanks to you DJ Andrew! Angela and the crew at Fairview Metropolitan really know their stuff. Our family is so grateful to them. This isn't the first time we've had an event with them. We held our daughter's wedding there in 2017. An equally flawless experience. Highly recommend this venue. Excellent, flexible and professional service. Oh and did I mention, plenty of free parking? Enough said.

    If you're looking for an elegant venue for your next event this is the place. They take out the stress of the small details and provide you with a great overall experience. We got many compliments on the food. I have zero complaints and am very thankful for Anavenessa who helped us along the way with all the details. She is very gracious and patient. All the staff day of were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended. You will not regret it and is the perfect place for any special event! Thank you for all your support and beautiful venue!

From the moment we met Jenni, we knew that she was the right planner for us, and going with her and her team was by far the most important decision we made. At first, we thought we could plan our wedding on our own, but as busy early-career professionals, we quickly realized we needed someone we could trust completely to carry out our vision without too much oversight. Jenni offered exactly that. From our first meeting, we felt listened to and could tell that she genuinely understood what we wanted out of the wedding and knew exactly how to handle the mountain of tasks necessary to make that vision a reality. Throughout the planning process, Jenni made it possible for us to plug into and out of planning as needed, and at every check-in, we were amazed by how much progress she made. It was not uncommon for us to raise questions or needs at these check-ins only for her to tell us that she had anticipated them and handled them exactly how we would've wanted. Without Jenni, we simply could not have had the wedding we had. Since Jenni is so experienced and beloved by vendors and venues she's worked with, she was able to curate a team that perfectly matched our taste. There's no way we would've found our venue--which was nothing short of magical--without Jenni, because the owners of the venue don't host many weddings but have a personal relationship to Jenni, so the venue is not something generic you would find on Google or wedding venue sites. Also, all of our vendors had worked with Jenni before and, as a result, had either worked with each other or at the venue before. This made the wedding that much better because the vendors were comfortable and familiar with each other and with the venue, so they could better focus on their work and have fun while doing so. If you want a wedding that uniquely reflects your relationship, choose Jenni, who has the connections to make that possible. If it's any indication, every vendor we worked with praised Jenni and told us how lucky we were to have the best wedding planner. Nothing phased Jenni. She is incredibly organized and a spreadsheet master. Having attended our share of weddings as guests, we have definitely come across planners that seemed stressed and overwhelmed. Jenni is the complete opposite of that. Jenni handled everything that came our way with grace, levity, and a smile. The day before our wedding, Jenni remarked that "Nothing scares me anymore," and that is 100% true from everything we observed. At no point throughout the planning process or the wedding did Jenni make us feel stressed. She only ever made us feel calmer because we knew that the wedding was in good hands and that we did not need to worry. What makes Jenni special is that she is also the loveliest person on top of being a master wedding planner. You can tell that she loves her work and genuinely cares for her clients. During the rehearsal and wedding, she made the effort to speak with our family members and friends, and everyone loved her instantly and could tell that the wedding was going to be incredible in her capable hands. Having her as a wedding planner often felt like having an old friend taking care of things for you. We sincerely cannot imagine a better wedding planner than Jenni. I was super appreciative and impressed by Saskia's ability to perfectly bustle my dress, despite the complicated French bustle.     Ann Saavedra was our day-of wedding coordinator. Our wedding was a great success. I felt that Ann…read morewas not adequately detail oriented for the size and complexity of our event, although ultimately everything turned out great. Pluses: 1. Ann is friendly and professional. She made me feel special during the planning process. 2. We technically had not paid her for wedding planning- only for the day of coordination - but she was happy to meet with me at length before the wedding and also met with the florist and my sister who was involved in the planning. She made a special site visit and made helpful suggestions to my sister. 3. Ann appears to be very experienced. She thought of issues to consider during the wedding planning which I never would have thought of including considering how to position readers in the ceremony seating arrangement, where parents most likely should sit, etc. She similarly gave helpful suggestions for the order of the procession. She recommended making lists of people to pick up centerpieces, leftover cake, and other equipment from the wedding so that the day of went more smoothly. I felt that her suggestions helped us feel more relaxed on the day of the event because many things were "taken care of." 4. When my sister discovered at the last minute that the chairs that arrived were incorrect, Ann spent time with the vendors and helped correct the problem. Behind the scenes, she took care of everything and I didn't even know about it. Minuses: 1. During the pre-wedding preparation periods, I started to notice that she failed to read most of the emails I sent her or CC'ed her on to update her on changes in plans. 2. At the rehearsal I was shocked to find that she had a beautiful timeline and outline of all the details of the wedding which she didn't seem familiar with (I heard her daughter puts the packet together for her). She was inefficient in conducting the rehearsal due to lack of familiarity with the details. 3. The day of the wedding she was often not present or readily available, even when we called her cell phone. 4. She failed to make sure corsages and bouquets were available for the photos even though we followed her timeline so she should have known when to bring them. 5. I heard afterward that she snapped at a family member who came to kindly ask why the candles for the ceremony had been removed. 6. When the time of the bouquet toss came I realized that she had not made the toss bouquet available to me and she was unavailable at that time. I ended up using my real bouquet which luckily i was ok with parting with. Overall, I will say this- my wedding turned out beautifully. I didn't feel that this was really because of Ann, but I think that she may have done some behind the scenes work that helped. There weren't any major disasters, but I wondered if she would have been able to handle it if there had been. A simpler and smaller wedding may make for a different story. In addition, her strengths may be more in helping with the planning process than in the hectic day of coordination.

    As a professional photographer and have worked with Ann I always thought how smooth things flowed…read morewith her taking care of details. Organized and and always on top of things. When my daughter was married in May 2013 we were lucky that Ann Saavedra was on board. Ann only wants it to be one of the most happiest days of your life. Details and getting things done so the bride wont worry why the salad is not there or when is the first dance. She is a lovely person and I highly recommend her to all my clients.
