It was hands down the best party we have had in many years. Amanda (Mandy) was our coordinator for the occasion. Usually I am in charge of setting up, decorating, hosting games, etc. and it can be stressful. This was the most stress free party all because of Amanda. She was GREAT! She helped me unload my car with gifts, set the gifts up on the tables, printed a sign for me for our Secret Santa gift table and even pulled out these show stopper Christmas center pieces to make the tables more festive. I joked and asked her if she had her own Michaels or Hobby Lobby hiding in the back somewhere. She even offered to cut the cake, that we bought outside, while we all played games. The food was top notch - the Salmon was delicious. Our director forgot to order appetizers ahead of time but Amanda was able to pull off fruit, cheese and cracker plates and buffalo wings. Definitely booking the venue for next year!

They also had security patrolling which I thought was great. My only complaint is that the dance floor was very small given the amount of space that was available. We locked in our contract a year and a half in advance, well before the recent remodel, and we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful the finished venue turned out. The entire team was so organized and supportive throughout the process. I had MANY questions over those 18 months, and they were always responsive, patient, and thorough. Because of their seamless process, the planning was nowhere near as stressful as I had imagined; they truly thought of every little detail so we didn't have to. For any couples worried about having a wedding at a golf course: don't be! The golfers were super understanding, and it had zero impact on our day. Our guests are still raving about the food, the drinks, and the music. The buffet provided so much food--in the best way possible--and no one went home hungry! We also opted for the dessert table through their partner bakery in Danville, which was absolutely amazing and left us with plenty of sweet treats to enjoy afterward. A massive shout-out to our florist, Dana Florals, who made my dreams come true. I changed my mind so many times throughout the process, but she handled every request with grace and executed perfectly; the florals were a huge hit with all of our guests. Most importantly, we have to talk about our coordinator, Jacoby--she is an absolute rockstar and we cannot recommend her enough! As a Type-A planner myself, I needed someone who 'got it,' and Jacoby truly does. She brought the most incredible, calming energy to both our rehearsal and our wedding day. Even with last-minute changes, I felt zero stress because I knew she had everything under control. She took such amazing care of us, making sure we actually ate and stayed hydrated throughout the night, and my parents couldn't stop raving about her. Our day truly would not have gone as smoothly without her; she is the reason everything felt so effortless! The team also handled all the setup and teardown, and even packed up our leftovers for us at the end of the night. We also loved their partner DJ, Brian, who truly listened to everything we wanted and kept the energy perfect. There's a large hall where you order food to go and the beef to grill along with indoor seating, stage with live music, bar and restrooms. Outside is a chapel, stage where they auction home baked goods and home grown baskets of fruit & veggies and lots of picnic tables. Call your family & friends, bring a picnic basket of sides to go with the grilled beef and enjoy each other's company. You can order sandwiches made on freshly baked bread or for the real star, you can purchase beef by the pound ($10/lb. on 6/25/22) and grill it on the provided skewers and open fire pit with sage wood. There's a seasoning area with provided salt because the meat is so good all you need is salt. Look like a pro and bring a pot to put your grilled meat into. HINT: To grill the Portuguese way, use a piece of fat to grease your skewer, pack the beef tightly on the skewer, liberally crust with salt from the seasoning area and grill meat. When done bang the skewer to expel excess salt. Avoid overcooking as the meat will continue to cook after placed in your pot. Cover & allow the meat to rest 10-min before eating! We break bread, eat, drink, dance to the live music and be merry!
