Most importantly, our guests loved the venue, food, and arrangements and gave us wonderful feedback throughout the event. A big thank you to Neerav Ji and the entire Oasis Palace team for helping make such a special occasion memorable for our family. Overall we had a good experience, we chose this venue after trying the food. We did debate other venues but the food didn't match up to here. On the day of the wedding, luckily since no other party was happening beside us we got a larger hall for free of charge. It made a big difference to the space. We also were able to add extra decor (Photo Booth, charger plate, etc) to meet the minimum.

This is a little gem in Newark. If you need a blank canvas of a space for too many people to fit…read morein your home and less than a big hall (capacity is 60), then this place is you! I emailed Mulakat Hall and received a response back that same night. The next day I called to setup a time to view the hall and Alka was kind enough to meet me at a time that worked for me. Booking & reserving the date was so simple and I had asked about decorations, food, drinks, music, etc and to all she said YES! Even better round and rectangle tables that fit about 6 to 8 people each (I would say 6 comfortably) and chairs are provided. You definitely get your bang for your buck: refundable deposit + affordable hourly rate with tables and chairs included = WINNING! Hall - The hall itself is a clean, open space, with 2 restrooms, and a tiny kitchen area with a sink & I believe there was a microwave & small refrigerator. Since we had ordered party trays of food, we didn't need to use the kitchen area. I would definitely suggest taking that into consideration if you plan to serve food. Decorating - Be creative with the space & I believe your options are limitless. We used the little stage with a DIY photo backdrop made of PVC piping and decorations for the gift area. We used another table for the cake, favors and candy bar by the back door. In the front (off to the left side after you walk into the hall) we used that area as a beverage bar. Now add some tablecloths + a simple centerpiece and this place comes to life. Clean Up - We put the tables and chairs back where we found them (storage room), took out our belongings, took out the trash (big trash in the parking lot) and swept. A man came to lock up the hall and asked how everything turned out - GREAT! I would recommend bringing the following: trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, painters tape, fishing wire, scissors, etc. It made the event run so much smoother by planning ahead for the unknown. Our original location was outside but with all the RAIN, we made a decision to change the location with only a 10 day notice. Alka soothed the stress away by making the process so simple - THANK YOU! Btw we received so many post event compliments! Good luck in your future event & planning!

The space is absolutely beautiful and a great blank canvas that doesn't need much decorating because it's got what some elders may call "good bones". The owners are really easy to work with and great at outlining all the details up front, so that you know what you are getting. And for the price, it's totally worth it! The space comes with tons of bells and whistles that you would normally pay extra for. That includes a sound system (for a DJ or you can use their Bluetooth and play your own music), light system, industrial fridge, microwave, a built-in selfie or Photo booth green wall, industrial trash cans, tables, and chairs galore. There's also free and plentiful parking located out back, which was a great built-in perk. There are so many things we loved about this space, including the barn door leading to a cute back patio. Great for creating indoor/outdoor space for guests. Ours used it to watch the trains going by, which was a big hit for the kids. The front of the venue is situated right near a loading dock/overhang area, which came decked out with lights and was perfect for our Piñata. There's also space adjacent the loading dock that worked perfectly for a jumper. We really enjoyed renting this space, and our guests absolutely loved it as well. It's the best space for any type of party or event, and worth every penny.

The ceremony area was very nice tucked away for privacy, and had a field (portion of the golf course? not sure) open to take pictures with the bride and groom. The reception was very pretty. I loved the usage of room space. They were able to accommodate about 18 tables, bride and groom table, DJ space, dance floor, 2 photo areas, projector space, cake space, bar, and the buffet station. Staff The staff here were very friendly and professional. The bar ladies made excellent drinks and kept them flowing. The buffet staff made sure food was brought out in a timely manner. The only thing I would change would be how they handled the cake and clean up. Apparently there were several types of cake flavor and we weren't asked which one we wanted. Also the staff were in such a rush to clean the tables they almost knocked over glasses on guests. Food The food was better than most weddings I've been to. It was flavorful, but not very warm. Some of the fruit and salad pieces looked a bit wilted and old. Cons If you are a techy signal isn't the best here. They do have complimentary wifi but it's a hit or miss for connection. I knock one star. For the most part this venue was fabulous. Might even consider for my nuptials.

His family and church hosted the Celebration of Life for the late Elder Eddie Walker. The venue is indeed an excellent one for any occasion - birthdays, bridal and baby showers, repasts, parties, etc. There is a stage area for bands to perform. For this occasion, the stage area was the pulpit. The Celebration of Life for my departed classmate was uplifting. Just hearing the praise and love by family members and friends, sharing memories of a man who was faithful, a mentor to his relatives and no matter where he was, the gospel was being preached. The ambiance is one of comfort. The catered food was quite enjoyable. Yummy delicious was the Southern green beans that accompanied the mac 'n cheese, bbq chicken and candied yams.
