Having our wedding at Casa Bella was the best decision we could have ever made. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, it met all our non-negotiables (ceremony & reception in one area and close to airports/hotels) to make it as easy as possible for our guests. We worked with Leann and Yoselin and they are absolutely lovely throughout the entire process. The entire staff also did such an wonderful job making sure all our guests were well-fed - I didn't hear a single complaint the entire night. If you're looking for an inclusive venue, Casa Bella is a must. We went with their hors d'oeuvres, 3 course meal, open bar (I was overjoyed when they allowed bloody mary's as a signature drink and it was DELICIOUS) and late night snacks and everything was amazing. They also provided us with an outdoor ceremony tent to help us with the heat. Oh, and they have decorations you can rent at a cost or for FREE! We used Weddings with Athena as our coordinator, Celestial Petals as our florist, Ditto Dianto as our photographer, Benji Films (La Venus Studio) as our videographer, and DJ TN with Twin Spin Entertainment as our DJ/MC. Affordability: Overall, Sunol's Casa Bella packages and F&B minimus were affordable, and competitive. They will work with you and your budget. It was cozy and delightfully decorated. Great Service & Staff: the few months leading to our wedding, we had multiple detailed meetings. During these meetings, we had the opportunity to meet multiple members of their staff, from the wedding coordinator to the chef and the owner. Throughout the whole time, the service was top-notch. On the day of, the staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Marie was also amazing in guiding us through the planning with great enthusiasm and setting all of our decor up on wedding day. In-House Supplies/Decor: The selection of in-house supplies and decor was amazing. We had everything we needed to create a beautiful and personalized setting without the hassle of sourcing items from multiple vendors or buying a lot of single use items. This included linens/drapery, welcome sign mirror, easels, heaters, tent, dessert trays, signage, etc. Lastly, my fiancé and I toured 10+ venues and we are very happy with our choice. My husband and I just got married this past weekend and everyone loved our venue! We received so many compliments and we're so happy to hear everyone tell us how much fun they had and how beautiful it was! Scouting process: Casa Bella was maybe around the 10th venue we toured. My husband and I were getting a little bummed because we wanted an indoor space that could accommodate all our guests comfortably. The pricing of many places were astronomical, and then we were often told that they couldn't even accommodate to that many of our guests in an indoor space. We felt Casa Bella had a pretty indoor hall and outdoor patio and were pleasantly surprised at the total! Food: part of the reason we picked this place was because we saw the good reviews about food! Casa Bella did not disappoint! Our guests told us how delicious the food was afterwards, we got the filet mignon, salmon and chicken! The guests even really complimented the salad! Dinner: They fit all of our guests without packing us like sardines but also without feeling too spaced out! My husband and I really appreciated the space because we felt it was just perfect for everyone to interact. We even had enough space for lion dancers to walk through and to install a LED light dance floor at the center, also a backdrop for the sweetheart table and to keep the photobooth inside! (There's also ample parking) Coordinator: Marie was our coordinator and it was so lovely working with her. She was flexible and friendly. I also had some guests compliment her in particular! They said she was so helpful without being hovering! (I heard one of my guest was feeling unwell and Marie knew exactly what to do!) Thank you Marie! Highlight: THE TRAIN. We got to book the train across the streets for our guests as a private event. It came with charcuterie boxes and iirc my husband & I decided to shorten it to a 1 hour ride as a meet & greet -- but there is another shorter or longer option. There was a full bar inside, indoor and outdoor carts. Everyone loved it so much! The volunteer staff were incredibly nice and really made our day! We loved that we got to add this unique activity for our guests and it'll be a nostalgic memory for us! Bridal Suite: Surprisingly, not many of the spaces I toured had a pretty AND convenient bridal suite. Casa Bella's is conveniently located upstairs and has a living room and a bedroom! My friends recently had their wedding here and the scenery definitely gave me wine country vibes. The place itself is so cute and has all the small town feels. It's right across from the Sunol train station parking lot, which we were allowed to park at for the occasion. The ceremony took place outdoors under a wooden frame structure with removal plastic tarp "windows" and both chandeliers + Parisian style string lights floating overhead. There's a large LOVE wall decor to the left with mini plaques engraved with couple names that were married on-site. I was amazed at the plentiful Cocktail Hour eats & drinks! Much needed sustenance in the form of refilled fruit, veggie, and cheese platters with crackers & baguette slices. What surprised me was the warm artichoke dip and wait staff walked around offering stuffed mushrooms, crab cakes, and bruschetta to the guests! Staff was so sweet, especially the Latina mama with a smile on her face the whole event. The bride & groom treated us to an open bar so my friend and I got some Moscow Mules to sip on. Outside the reception area is so cute with a few swing seats to sit on! The reception was held indoors with a full hardwood floor for dancing, plus room for the bar, dessert staging, and even photo booth option to the left. The fresh focaccia slices and scoop of butter at each place setting was soo good! Caesar salad came around shortly after being seated. Dinner was a choice of steak, chicken, salmon, or veggie patty on a bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus. I had the steak, which seemed like a prime rib cut. Mighty tender and tasty. We just hosted a wedding at Casa Bella for our daughter and it was extremely well done. We were very happy with everything! My husband and I got married on 9/7/2024 at Casa Bella and we could not be more happy with how our wedding day went! When we first started looking at venues in January, we thought we were planning for a 2025 wedding. Then after touring a number of different all inclusive venues, we started realizing that a 2024 wedding would be possible. We had initially envisioned getting married at a golf course type of venue, but visiting Casa Bella changed everything from having a Sept 2024 date available to charming us with the beautiful decor and outdoor tent (which helped alleviate any weather related anxiety). As someone obsessed with the color purple, it also made me overjoyed to see the room lit up with the additional purple lighting (at no extra cost!) We had a wonderful experience working with our event manager, Leann. The planning process was smooth and easy throughout, and Leann made sure to answer any questions we had while guiding us through all the little details. We were also glad that there were group tastings offered so we could try out the food before finalizing our menu. Everything was great but we highly recommend the filet mignon. We were so happy to hear from our guests that the food was really good! People tend not to expect much from buffets, but Casa Bella did not disappoint, and it meant a lot to get compliments on the food and see people go for seconds. We were so thankful that the bridal suite was included in our rental as it was the perfect space to hangout with our wedding party. In addition, we rented The Galleria for our getting ready space to do hair and makeup and it was such a worthwhile decision - the place is gorgeous and we got some beautiful pictures from it including the first look with my dad. On the day of, Leann and Selenia helped make sure everything ran smoothly and helped bring our vision (with all our table games, welcome table photos/decor, extra details) come to life! They also made sure we were fed by bringing us food and drinks. The staff were so efficient with cleanup/breakdown and were so kind to box up the extra food and desserts that we did not get a chance to eat. So so appreciated! I got married at Casa Bella a week ago and highly recommend the venue for other prospective couples. To start, the communication with Selenia leading up the big day was great - she was always responsive to my emails whenever a question popped up in my head. I appreciated that it was a "one stop shop" with a bridal getting ready space available to rent just down the street (The Galleria), a bridal suite upstairs, ceremony site, reception space, plenty of guest parking, and in-house catering. We got so many compliments on the food as well as the incredibly attentive staff. The venue already looks really nice as is (as opposed to other spaces I toured that were bare bones) and had a selection of complimentary items for us to use as well so we had to bring in very minimal additional decor. Wow! Veena and her team are amazing. We had a last minute request for a 40 person graduation party at our home. She mobilized quickly and set us up with a great meal. The smashed potatoes were heavenly! They were mixed with sour cream and garlic and just absolutely melted in your mouth. In addition, they also prepared some ravioli in a red pepper cream sauce that was sinfully delightful. I actually grilled my own meat, but they set up a carving station to serve tot he guests as they walked through. The device at the buffet was impeccable. I also forgot to mention their appetizer station with a beautiful charcuterie platter, fresh fruit, artichoke dip and assorted bread and crackers. It was the perfect start to what was a delightful evening. Then, after we were done with dinner, Veena and her chef cleaned everything and put it away. They were so helpful and engaging. Ok not a wedding event review...but rather Mother's Day Brunch buffet. Wow...just wow. Had never been to this venue before, but the facilities, indoors and out, were just lovely. Staff was very wonderfully attentive and helpful. And, OMG, the FOOD! Every item on the buffet line was delicious. Even things I dont normally go for were irresistable. The bread pudding (the owners recipe) was on par with some of the best versions New Orleans has to offer. This place is excellence top to bottom. Whole family was over the moon about the experience. Casa Bella was one of our last venue to tour out of 5 and we're so happy with our choice. My husband and I loved the place! And it was within our budget. It was perfect to accommodate 130 guest. I feel like anything more would be too crowded. We loved the brightness of the room, the decor inside and outdoor, and overall the venue suited our theme. We've had communications were a few coordinators, but Leanne and Marie were the main individuals. They were both great and accommodating. In addition, the food was amazing!! The Casa Bella team was so incredible from start to finish with our wedding! They were flexible with our tight schedules in availability for planning meetings, and incredibly accommodating in providing food adjustments for myself (Bride) who has many dietary restrictions. Even the food taste testing with a set menu that had little adjustments available, they found a way to let me try at least one thing that would be on our menu that would work with my dietary restrictions. The planning meetings were smooth, and everything explained in detail so that each decision was easy and clear. The only hiccups in planning were on our part, but even with those moments the Casa Bella team was quick to respond with adjustments, accommodation suggestions, and planning updates. The venue is absolutely beautiful and it was a dream location both for the ceremony and reception (and the bridal suite also). The available signage, décor, lighting, and easy collaboration with our baker, floral designer, filmography crew and photographers made it so that there was little day-of to worry about except the timing of the event and the locations for pictures as guests were arriving. The pictures we have are phenomenal, with the venue spaces and the road on the other side of the train station (taken around golden hour) providing us with lovely shots to remember our beautiful day. My (now) husband and I have so many great things to say about Casa Bella and their amazing staff, we don't even know where to start! From the beginning, Veena was communicative and helpful and went through all the details together with us. She was very accommodating with all our requests, including some last minute ones to include snacks on the chairs and some other decor to set up. What we loved the most is that she helped us stick to our budget and kept things realistic, being honest about what we should spend our money on and what we didn't need to add on. Casa Bella also had a ton of free decor, glasses, dessert stands, and more to use during our wedding, which helped us tremendously. And the fact that we could use both the bridal suite and could rent the Galleria as an extra place to get ready also helped a lot because an Indian wedding meant a lot of people had outfit changes. They also already work with an Indian caterer, which was important because we wanted Indian food for our reception.  What helped us the MOST was the Veena was so professional and calm even as our events were getting delayed that day, and though it must have been stressful on their end, she never let us feel that stress. She just made sure to get us to move onto the next thing, and was beyond sweet even with small hiccups, like when I got nervous and messed up the cake cutting after she specifically told us what to do.  The train we had used for our cocktail hour was also a huge hit with our guests, and we're so glad we were able to utilize it! It definitely gave our wedding that special and unique touch I was looking for. The tent was gorgeous too, and put us at ease in case it was too sunny that day.  We would highly recommend this venue to everyone getting married or hosting events, as the customer service here is well above par. Our guests have still been telling us how amazed they are that we planned this wedding by ourselves and pulled it off so well, but a majority of this credit really goes to Veena and her crew. September 2022 Wedding. I wish I could give 10 stars for Casa Bella! I wanted a venue that matched my rustic theme where everything was going to be handled. I found Casa Bella and booked it right away because I just loved it so much. The communication that I constantly had with the Casa Bella team was amazing! Wedding planning is stressful enough now to factor in pandemic and mother nature's surprises. The way 2020 was going I didn't think our wedding was even going to happen. We could not have gotten to our big day without the support of Veena, Marie, and their team. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception. They took our vision and went above and beyond with it. The attention to detail was impeccable. From the table settings to the many special details we brought along with us including our in-memory table which was set up with such thought and love. The bistro lights at sunset were so lovely and romantic. We could not have asked for a better set up. Both Veena and Marie knew how special the train was to us and by miracle chance, it was back up and running that day. As the train arrived, both my husband and I, Veena, Marie, our videographer and photographer all ran to get the most magical photos and video I've ever seen. We can't thank Veena and Marie enough. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day extra special. I definitely recommend Casa Bella if you are looking for a rustic glam wedding like we were. My husband Nick & I got married at Sunol's Casa Bella on July 22, 2022. When we came across this venue, we instantly fell in love with it & knew it was the one. We are so very happy we hosted our wedding reception here. The owner Veena and staff are absolutely wonderful. We got the chance to work closely with Leann as she was our events coordinator for our special day. From the first day we had our meeting & so on, she was always so helpful in answering all of our questions and making sure of every detail we wanted was there. We appreciate her hard work! Also, the food was so delicious! We can't get over how amazing everything here was. Definitely worth every penny. In the beginning of our engagement, we researched venues in the Bay Area and Casa Bella was our top choice so it was the first one we scheduled a tour with. It was pretty much love at first sight and the other venues just couldn't compare. The best wedding venue in the Tri-Valley area, I swear. This was our wedding reception (second wedding) that we held here, and we couldn't have imagined it going any better. From start to finish, Casa Bella was attentive and responsive to all my questions, requests, and needs. They worked with us on the perfect layout (since we didn't have a ceremony, we had our cocktail reception outside in the tent, which was so gorgeous and perfect for folks to chat and mingle, grab a bite and a drink, and enjoy the beautiful Sunol sunset), and adhered almost exactly to the timeline of the evening. We loved that there are several different spaces (indoor and outdoor) within the venue for people to be, or for different parts of the evening. And the FOOD. It's so nice to hear your guests actually enjoying the food that you pay top dollar for, but Casa Bella knows how to do it right. Instead of other venues who pre-cook most food, this venue truly cooks to order, and boy does it make a huge difference in taste. This does make the food come out a little slower (especially for a full house of 150 people), but you can definitely plan around that. Attended a wedding at the quaint beautiful Casa Bella in Sunol, CA last Sunday The venue was so very beautiful, with the ceremony outside, gorgeous pergola with drapes n flowers n the beautiful chandelier in the center with a beautiful water fountain in the background. Absolutely beautiful setting Appetizers in the veranda n on to the inside. You could hear the gasp when people entered the ball room It was sparkling. Stunning. Veena, Leann, Marie & the rest of the team are the BEST!! We had nothing but the greatest care from beginning to end. They love what they do and love to make sure their clients are completely happy & satisfied. They were attentive, helpful, detailed, understanding, super kind, and very fun to work with! Theh are also very accommodating. Whatever your vision is, they will make sure to make it all happen for you. The venue is BEAUTIFUL inside and out! Once we arrived, to check the Center out, I immediately fell in love. It is so spacious, the details of the place is really indescribable. Nothing compares to how beautiful the place is. & the FOOD! We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Casa Bella on October 12, 2019 and it was the most perfect day. We had looked at numerous venues and found something we did not like with all of them, until we found Casa Bella. I sent an email inquiry and received a response extremely fast. Within a week, we had toured the venue and reserved our date (we reserved our wedding date in August of 2018 and got married in October 2019). The venue itself has so many items included, we barely had to decorate! Our ceremony and reception ran so smoothly, and all of our guests had a wonderful time. We met with our day of coordinator twice before our wedding to go over details. We also attended their wedding fair and got to taste some of the food options which was very helpful. The food was delicious, and we received numerous compliments after our wedding. They even let us bring a taco truck in for a late night snack, which our guests loved! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in the Bay Area. This was the best day of our lives and we could not picture celebrating at any other venue! read more
