Shortly after arriving, I noticed a water bottle refill station inside the museum and refilled my water bottle there. While quietly viewing an exhibit with my family, we were suddenly approached in a very loud and confrontational manner by a female staff member who stated, "Ma'am, ma'am! There is no food or drink allowed in the museum. You either need to leave or throw your water bottle away." I was surprised by both the tone and the interaction, especially considering the museum itself provided the refill station inside the building. I explained that I had filled the bottle there, but was told that people are apparently expected to "refill their bottles and then leave the museum to drink from them," which honestly made very little sense. Because I am pregnant, I asked if I could simply keep the bottle closed while inside, rather than repeatedly separating from my family whenever I became thirsty. She reluctantly agreed, but after that interaction, staff members continuously followed my family throughout the museum for the remainder of our visit, seemingly monitoring whether I drank water. What should have been an enjoyable family outing became extremely uncomfortable and unenjoyable. Being closely followed from exhibit to exhibit over a closed water bottle felt excessive and unnecessary, especially under the circumstances. Unfortunately, the experience left my family and I not wanting to return. I truly hope future guests are treated with more kindness, professionalism, common sense, and dignity.

Who throws a birthday party for only one hour? If you want an additional hour it's an extra $150. Felt like a bait and switch -- I went back on the website to see if there was a disclaimer about parties being only 1 hour -- there is, but it's very discreet. It should definitely be more clear so there aren't any surprises. 2. The art project takes quite literally 5 minutes (no wonder only one hour is included...). While I'm sure the art is going to be beautiful, I would go as far as saying this was boring for a crew of 7 year old girls. After all of the instructions were given it was truly.. 5 minutes of fun... I quote the birthday girl.., "mom, we poured paint in a cup and then poured it in paper. That's it." I really wish there was something else to make the party a bit more fun and engaging. Play a game? Sing? Literally anything to extend the fun. The art itself is simply not enough to justify having a party there.

My daughter just had her wedding at this venue on 06-14-2026…read more We had many issues with support staff. Starting on June 12 for the rehearsal. After the rehearsal was completed the bridesmaids that didn't see the venue wanted to go look at the hall where the reception was being held. They just looked in the doorway to see the size of the room as it was a wedding being set up and someone approached him and said who are you and what are you doing here you need to leave. We did receive an apology from the wedding coordinator who was did an absolutely fabulous job, but the damage was done. The day of the wedding there is a bridal suite which is basically a converted closet or storage room for the bride to change and wait in prior to the beginning of the ceremony. The room was very hot and uncomfortable. There was no ventilation whatsoever.. After our initial photography session sessions, we requested the staff to turn on the AC. No AC was turned on in this particular room.. This happened no less than six times and then eventually my youngest daughter went again and the staff member threw her hands up and he said yes, we heard. Then another young lady got into it with my wife when my wife asked her for a fan numerous times .and my wife had asked for a fan several times. A staff member became upset and chastise my wife saying we were disrespecting them. Yes, we became upset because my daughter the bride was near fainting in this room.. they even suggested that we stay in the golf club, this was not what was planned. The bride was to be hidden. Their was guest everywhere. groomsmen that we're not supposed to see the bride prior to the event. The bride became faint and uncomfortable because of this awful room. So imagine being so hot you felt faint in the waiting room prior to you walking down the aisle. Not a good start.. So my daughter had an awful experience in the beginning of the wedding. The unfortunate part is the wedding coordinator was not helpful in anyway. Did not great the bride during arrival. The support staff seem bothered and annoyed ,not welcoming. This establishment should be ashamed of their staff for the way their staff treats their guests. Don't book here. Shameful

Where do I even begin!…read more Enchanted forest theme for a teen milestone birthday and how does one pull that off!! I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon Tasha's business IG page Savvy Chic Events. What caught my eye was some of the adjectives her reviewers used were 'sweet', 'warm', 'kind', 'patient', 'dedicated'. How do you have all that while putting together an event when anything could go off at the very last moment I thought. I reached out to Savvy Chic Events via phone, a couple text messages and an email ensued. It took just a phone call to know how invested Tasha is in knowing YOU to understand what you are and what your likes or interests, your thoughts or ideas on your event are. As a parent I was involved to the extent of picking the right people to make sure this celebration was eventful! Tasha politely asked if she could speak with my teen and have my teen involved in the creative process. From understanding the theme to picking a venue, touring the venue a couple or more times, working with the vendors, color schemes, accents (the silver colored moon is a story by itself), the decor, the activities, the favor picks & it's display, music arrangements, the food & the signature drinks, creating custom menu, drink, dessert boards , making sure everything worked into the given budget, communicating back and forth between the texts, phone calls, emails - I mean many many times just to make sure you have a PERFECT magical experience! I have often joked around and said Tasha has a soothing voice- you can't really say no to. She is utterly patient, very very giving into the process, has the sweetest voice and the kindest heart. She gives it her ALL- it almost seems like it is HER event with all the running around, the working tirelessly behind the scenes, the numerous trips she makes to see places or to meet people. She builds this beautiful kinship between her and clients. It is not only the event but the onset or the prelude to the event that Savvy Chic makes it memorable.
