I come here regularly and it's honestly one of my favorite spots for coffee and food. Everything is…read moreusually great, which is why today's experience stood out in a disappointing way. I ordered a 16 oz (large) coffee, but was served a 12 oz. When it was brought to our table, I politely asked about the size since it looked smaller than what I usually get. The barista told me it was 12 oz and mentioned it might just be a different cup, then walked away without really addressing the concern. I checked my receipt and confirmed I was charged for a 16 oz. I went back to the counter and explained that I simply wanted the correct size. Initially, I was told I would need to pay more, which was frustrating. After explaining again, she finally offered to remake it. For clarity, the drink hadn't been touched at all--I returned it exactly as it was. I really like this place and will continue to support it, but I hope the team can improve on order accuracy and customer service, especially when concerns are raised politely. A little more attentiveness and willingness to resolve issues would go a long way.

It also has an old-timey study or library or at least a literary vibe to this place. There's multiple rooms, including a stage in the back room. I think they have events here. Service is friendly and they have classic drinks as well as some festive ones. I was here on St. Patrick's Day so I got something festive even though it was overly sugary lol. I ordered the Lucky Charms White Mocha. It was tasty, but definitely a drink I wouldn't be able to order on the regular. I was able to set up my computer and one of the side rooms and get some work done. This place seems to be a very popular place for studying and doing some work. Just a great place in a great area. They have a large lot and there's also plenty of street parking in the area, especially during the day.

There are cracks on the walls and the shackles and rooftop is very old-fashioned but that just adds to its charm. The owners of the shop were so sweet. They offered water and snacks and are just plain genuine. They didn't put any pressure on us to buy or to leave, even though they were closing up. They seemed more content with people just visiting and gawking at the historical site. This place is also part of the ghost tour held during Halloween. Yup, there have been many incidents here. Like footsteps on the second floor, objects being moved, stuff like that. The staircase within the shop gave me a creepy vibe. It is made of old wood and it is narrow. Looking up to the second floor is eerie and uncomfortable. Maybe I felt that way because my friend just told me that the ghosts known to inhibit the Kottinger Barn can be heard walking up and down these very steps. **Shivers** Ohhh ghost stories give me the willys but I love them! The way the owners set up the back yard is cute. It's ambiance is old and used and also kind of sad and lonely for it looked like it was abandoned for years. I can imagine the ghost sitting on one of the chairs, looking out of the yard at the changed world...(there goes my imagination again)

The staff was professional and incredibly helpful throughout the process. We really appreciate how we were able to use some of their complimentary items too! We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend Casa Bella to any couple planning their wedding in the Bay Area that prefers a ceremony and reception all in one place, which makes it super convenient for all the guests. We loved our wedding here so much, that we also came back for Casa Bella's Mother's Day Brunch event too!

We worked with Leann and Yoselin and they are absolutely lovely throughout the entire process. The entire staff also did such an wonderful job making sure all our guests were well-fed - I didn't hear a single complaint the entire night. If you're looking for an inclusive venue, Casa Bella is a must. We went with their hors d'oeuvres, 3 course meal, open bar (I was overjoyed when they allowed bloody mary's as a signature drink and it was DELICIOUS) and late night snacks and everything was amazing. They also provided us with an outdoor ceremony tent to help us with the heat. Oh, and they have decorations you can rent at a cost or for FREE! We used Weddings with Athena as our coordinator, Celestial Petals as our florist, Ditto Dianto as our photographer, Benji Films (La Venus Studio) as our videographer, and DJ TN with Twin Spin Entertainment as our DJ/MC. All vendors were already familiar with the venue which made the entire planning a breeze. I hope to visit again as a guest as I will be recommending this venue to all future brides & grooms. Thank you so much Casa Bella!

Our Castlewood wedding was absolutely perfect! I cannot recommend this venue enough :)…read more For one, it's a gorgeous venue with incredible views and spaces. Our photographer had no trouble finding stunning backdrops to use for photos. It ended up raining on our wedding day, so we weren't able to get married in front of the oak tree on the ceremony lawn, but the indoor option ended up working perfectly! Plus, the food at Castlewood is phenomenal. Sandy was an absolute joy to work with while we were planning our event. She was very responsive, patient, and kind while we were navigating the planning process and asking a thousand questions. It's clear that she's very good at what she does and cares about helping people create their dream event. Thank you, Sandy, for helping us celebrate our wedding at Castlewood!

This was pretty much the first/only Thanksgiving that my family didn't cook at home... like ever. A family member of mine is a member here and suggested, as long as everyone one is on board, that we just pay a nominal amount and do our Thanksgiving meal here. The price felt really reasonable ($75 in 2025) especially since no one was stressing about cooking and clean up etc. We had a pretty large group that included my family, in laws, etc. so the convenience was really appreciated. The food was good too. It was served buffet style and they had seafood, salad, plenty of sides, and some carving stations... oh and a dessert area. There were also beverages to purchase. I got there a little early and got a nice pour of bourbon before the rest of my family got there. There was also a professional photographer on the premises to get pictures from the holiday. Definitely a great option to spend this holiday for sure! Parking was very easy - as they have lots of accessible lots and I think the rest of the club was closed that day.

From start to finish, we truly felt so supported and guided throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the venue tour, to navigating contracts, to nailing down details and logistics (menu tasting, coordinating with vendors, etc.), to the actual day of the wedding - the Palm's team was so incredibly professional and efficient, while also being understanding and reassuring during such a stressful time. The Palm's team is clearly a well-oiled machine and executed the entire wedding day without a hitch. We have to give a special shout out to our venue coordinator, Melissa, who is absolutely exceptional! Her attention to detail, kindness, and ability to simply get things done smoothly is unmatched. We were so grateful to have had her as our coordinator and highly recommend her! On top of the wonderful team (this includes all staff!), the venue is absolutely stunning and the in-house catering is amazing! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food, and we can confidently say that no guest left hungry! My husband and I highly recommend The Palm Event Center for your special day!

We reserved our date quite in advance but had a lot of support in the planning. We first worked with Nicole during the initial planning process, and then things were handed off to our coordinator Makenna. She was excellent to work with when we had questions and changes as we got closer to our date. Palm was also very flexible with us viewing the venue with family in advance and scheduling a rehearsal the week of. Our coordinator Makenna was sick last minute so we worked with Melissa on the day of the wedding. Despite coming in last minute, she took great care of us and everything went smoothly! The ceremony package with wedding coordinator was a great value for how smoothly everything went. We definitely recommend working with preferred vendors whenever possible to make things even easier, as they have good relations with the venue and paperwork is easier. We are so glad we got married here and can't wait to visit the winery again in the future! Thanks so much to Makenna and Melissa for making our special day so memorable!
