The barista told me it was 12 oz and mentioned it might just be a different cup, then walked away without really addressing the concern. I checked my receipt and confirmed I was charged for a 16 oz. I went back to the counter and explained that I simply wanted the correct size. Initially, I was told I would need to pay more, which was frustrating. After explaining again, she finally offered to remake it. For clarity, the drink hadn't been touched at all--I returned it exactly as it was. I really like this place and will continue to support it, but I hope the team can improve on order accuracy and customer service, especially when concerns are raised politely. A little more attentiveness and willingness to resolve issues would go a long way.

Looking up to the second floor is eerie and uncomfortable. Maybe I felt that way because my friend just told me that the ghosts known to inhibit the Kottinger Barn can be heard walking up and down these very steps. **Shivers** Ohhh ghost stories give me the willys but I love them! The way the owners set up the back yard is cute. It's ambiance is old and used and also kind of sad and lonely for it looked like it was abandoned for years. Plus, the food at Castlewood is phenomenal. Sandy was an absolute joy to work with while we were planning our event. I got there a little early and got a nice pour of bourbon before the rest of my family got there. There was also a professional photographer on the premises to get pictures from the holiday. We first worked with Nicole during the initial planning process, and then things were handed off to our coordinator Makenna. She was excellent to work with when we had questions and changes as we got closer to our date. Our coordinator Makenna was sick last minute so we worked with Melissa on the day of the wedding. Despite coming in last minute, she took great care of us and everything went smoothly! The ceremony package with wedding coordinator was a great value for how smoothly everything went. We definitely recommend working with preferred vendors whenever possible to make things even easier, as they have good relations with the venue and paperwork is easier.
