Debbie and Deserrie were simply fabulous! They are smart, intuitive, and hard-working. They arrived 30 minutes before our party for 60 began. With very few instructions, they took over finishing touches on the buffet, putting out hot items from the oven, replenishing the buffet, drinks, ice. They passed food around, defrosted dessert, created a beautiful dessert tray, and passed that around, too. Throughout all of this, they were circulating the party clearing abandoned plates and cups, keeping surfaces clean and tidy. They took out all bags of trash, put away all the buffet food in containers,and left the kitchen clean with all trays, dishes, and serving items washed and dried. Our most recent server, Tarrah, was excellent. We were having a small business dinner party and my husband cooks so we didn't need much help there, but Tarrah always found things to do. I was a crazy bride who laid awake at night worrying about who was going to help my guests and replenish the bar, ice, and whatever needed to be done at our wedding that was supposed to be "just a casual party" not a wedding "haha". I found Christine which helped me sleep nights again. She came and accessed the rented venue, and gave me suggestions with setting up the tables and whatever. She told me with the number of guests, we needed two bartenders and servers for all to run smoothly. I cringed because it was over my bar budget. Last Saturday, I had my retirement party and Jessica and Leonard came to my home at the designated time, dressed professionally, and immediately took charge. The efficiency with which they navigated my kitchen, the dining area, and the backyard was wonderful. I was so impressed by Jessica's handling of everything. Chris and Christine worked efficiently, creatively and tirelessly, and always in wonderful spirit, to make our memorial service a success. They were faced with tasks far in excess of what they originally were lead to believe were to be expected of them and, without complaint, they took charge, made good decisions and, working in the background, made the proverbial lemonade out of the lemons they found themselves faced with. I didn't have a wedding planner, so I spoke and corresponded with Christine myself leading up to our wedding and she was not only incredibly kind and sweet, but helped me to determine the quantities of products needed for our cocktail hour cheese plates and she was right on point - she helped me to save money too, which is always helpful when planning a big party! My mom and I went to Costco and picked out all of the cheeses, fruit, etc., (under our planned budget, might I add) and Chris and Christine arranged it in a way that made it look so bountiful, beautiful, and elegant! Their talent, style, skills, resourcefulness, kindness, willingness to accommodate, and professionalism exceeded our expectations by miles. They were just so wonderful! They even brought fig leaves, greenery, and other details with them to add class and interest to our cheese boards. Seeing the tables take shape seriously made my heart flutter! My husband and I are all about food and the presentation was just beyond delightful. So many of our guests mentioned how beautiful the cheese boards were, and our families keep mentioning to us what a pleasure Chris and Christine were to have around, and we agree! They also arranged our dessert table beautifully (tons of comments from guests on that as well!), packed up the leftovers, made coffee and arranged that station, and effortlessly navigated the craziness of our event with calm and kind energy...
