Out of all the catering companies we spoke with, Manny was the only one who always gave us quick and courteous service. It was so easy to set up meetings with Manny to talk about what we wanted. When my wife and I had our food tasting with Manny, we were blown away and excited. The food was so flavorful and tasty. We could tell Manny takes a lot of pride in his food. In November 2017, my daughter got engaged so the planning of the wedding started. I needed a caterer so I googled caterers in my area. I came across Basilico Italian Catering and I am so happy that I found them. I read their yelp reviews and decided to phone them. We arranged for a tasting. We were delighted with the food, the presentation, the utensils and it tasted great. Sarah and Manny were very easy to work with and the process went smoothly. I remember feeling relieved that we had found a caterer that knew what they were doing. We had decided on 3 appetizers for the cocktail hour. We had Bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms and the meatballs. Their staff served the appetizers to our guests during the cocktail hour. For our meal, we had the arugula berry salad, tri tip, white wine garlic chicken, penne pasta, creamy pesto tortellini, seasoned veggies, fruit tower and rolls. It was all yummy! Sarah came the day before to do a walk thru which was very helpful. They arrived early on the day of the wedding for set up. Their staff was very professional and helpful. There were 200 people at this wedding and all went well. The guests told us that they loved the meal. They cleaned everything up before they left. It was seamless. Basilico Italian Catering did an amazing job at my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary Luncheon on Saturday, April 27th at Napa, CA. From planning to the execution everything was top-notch. We had a wonderful food tasting experience at their Concord office where we sampled most items. Sarah provided banquet options and we were delighted with those suggestions. She has been responsive and flexible. She made the entire proposal, booking, and planning process painless and made sure they are met with exceeded expectations. I recently attended a wedding catered by this company and the food was outstanding! The chicken and beef were both delicious and moist. The pasta was also amazing tasting! I'm not a big pasta lover, but I happily ate every bite on my plate, wishing I had more. The vegetables tasted fresh and had a nice crispness. As a vegetable lover I often worry that the veggies will be overcooked and the salad will be soggy. However, this was thankfully not the case at this fabulous dinner. The food was delicious. My soon to be wife had found this cater by searching through here (yelp) as almost everyone does now. She viewed the pictures of the food that they had provided to others and liked what we saw. She booked a tasting and had the ball rolling. It did not disappoint, Sarah and her husband had provided an array of different salads, appetizers and main dish. After tasting what was provided, we decided to have Ceaser Salad, stuffed mushrooms and Ceviche for appetizers, tri tip, red pasta, steamed vegetables and chicken that was a split of red and white sauces. We also added a fruit tower. The day of our wedding it went without a problem. The food was loved by all of guest. I appreciate Sarah and her team for also assisting on placing our table numbers And uncorking our wine bottles for our guest.
