I've known Anna Seymour for over 6 years and have used her services several times with complete satisfaction. Her food is farm fresh using only organic ingredients. She is very reliable and her menu is just so amazing. She will customize to your taste as well. If strawberries are in season. My daughter and her fiancé wanted Asian food to celebrate the fact that they spent 2 years working in SE Asia, and Anna devised the most delicious assortment of tidbits, both passed and buffet-style. I have used fresh catering for several occasions at work and can highly recommend those girls. They are a team of two, they love their food, make an awesome presentation and the food is excellent. They usually bring their own utensils and ovens - so even if you don't have a real kitchen, you can get a great warm lunch buffet. read more

We're still getting compliments on Fresh Catering's food and service a month after our wedding reception (doesn't anyone remember the wedding itself??!). Anna Seymour, the owner, gave us a lot of choices and plenty of personal attention to help us with the final menu, room layout, rentals, and timing. She was extremely flexible and allowed us to hire our own bartenders, and then offered to have her staff help with drinks during the peak times. This is the short, Yelp, version. In person we would go on for an hour, singing praises to her as a warm, wonderful, low-key person to work with, to her aesthetic sense, to her culinary skills, and to her excellent staff. We had no idea what we were getting into when we planned our wedding and reception. Thank goodness Anna knew how to arrange an amazing feast. I have nothing but good things to say about Anna, her great food, and her wonderful staff. I recently had a cocktail wedding party, and served a wonderful variety of hors d'oeuvres. From the very getgo, Anna communicated with me and answered all my questions. I was so glad we had a trial run of the food because I didn't even get to taste anything the night of my wedding (all my nerves left me with no appetite). The event could not have been successful without Anna Seymour's catering service. Her food was not only delicious, but the presentation was outstanding! She is very organized and stayed in contact with me and offered suggestions from her extensive menu selections. We used her catering service again on 5/14 and was equally impressed, as was our guests, with her scrumptious appetizers. She has a wide selection to choose from and everything is done with great quality ingredients. Anna is a gem and skilled at her profession. Amazing nouveau cuisine! Fresh and delicious! My guests were bowled over with the GREAT FOOD from start to finish! Anna, the owner and head chef was amazing and very accommodating. We hired Fresh Catering for our Backyard Wedding this June. We had 115 guests and Anna did an amazing job of serving everyone hot and fresh food with minimal space! The week before the wedding I had to call Anna and tell her that the oven in the the house was broken and would not heat higher than 300. She calmly replied don't worry about that I will make it work. She hauled in her own ovens, and I heard nothing more about it. I am sure it was not an easy task! We have heard nothing but good feedback from our guests about the amazingly fresh food. I will definitely be using Anna for future catering events. read more

Very possibly the best decision I ever made about anything in in my entire life!!!!! I hired Anna and her team to cater, serve and arrange a bartender for a large "milestone" birthday party where approximately 80 people attended, on a Saturday evening in a private home. The food was flat out OUTSTANDING! Quite honestly, better then can be found at most restaurants in San Francisco - and I have dinner in San Francisco all the time - for a very fair price given the lever of service and quality Fresh Catering provides. Ultimately, I let Anna pick the final menu of "heavy appetizer" hot and cold items, some passed and some left staged for people to self serve on small plates. Once establishing any dietary restrictions or concerns with Anna, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS! Everything was locally sourced, super fresh, outstandingly and consistently prepared and served - AMAZING! Anna is great. Anna's staff is very professional, very attentive and very friendly. perfect. Used Fresh Catering recently for an event with about 100. The appetizers (that is all we served) were amazing, and we received so many compliments on the wonderful flavors and presentation. We were concerned about using so much of our kitchen space for a caterer, but Anna brought in her own ovens, set up on tables in the garage, and we had all the space we needed. Our garage has never smelled so good! They have an amazing assortment of items to choose from, and work witih you to create new ones. Highly recommend!!! read more

The food was delicious and fresh, just as their name suggested, hence my leaving of one star. Past that the experience was pretty bad. The guests were locked out in the heat after the ceremony. I finally let them in to the air conditionef building myself; elderly, men dressed in hot suits, etc. Anna said they would put water on tables, there was none. I (the groom) asked one of their staff for water and she brought me a glass of very warm tap water. One of my invited guests ended up jumping in to give guests water. My daughters fiance said their staff opened gifts by mistake. Half way through the reception Anna interrupted the start of our first dance to make me go out into the yard to find our supply truck driver. As I walked out to let him know that she wanted to load the truck, I saw the dishes in a pile, not boxed and not ready to be loaded anyway. The day after the wedding I was blasted with a nasty email demanding extra money One complaint that I overheard was that we brought too many things to set up in the allotted time. I gave her an inventory list a week in advance. If it was more than they could handle, I would've expected them, the professionals to let me know more people would be needed. After the wedding, they sent some linens to the wrong companies and I was expected to drive around to make things right. They deserve a star for the food, but past that felt they couldn't or just wouldn't work cohesively with my team. Yes the situation was difficult and it was hot out, but I don't believe it justifies bad behavior or lack of professionalism. read more

I was not a fan of the caterer that our venue recommended so after hours of online searching (not on company time of course) I came across Fresh Catering. Anna promptly returned my email and we set up a time later that evening to talk. My husband and I wanted to include some of our favorite comfort foods but present them in a more upscale fashion. Anna immediately was a whirlwind of ideas, including miniature mac & cheese tarts for appetizers! Need I say more! I used Fresh Catering for an intimate party at my home recently and was extremely happy with the service, professionalism and quality of food. Anna coordinated the event with me over a few weeks, sending me sample menus and coordinating linens, dishes, colors and preferences. Susan showed up an hour and a half prior to the event to prepare, she was friendly and professional and even offered to make me young daughter a sandwich. The timing of the different courses was perfect. The food was excellent and I had a "foodie" guest who is generally very critical that mentioned more than once how delicious everything was. Susan also hoped with drinks, uncorking my wine and offering to help every step along the way. Susan spent time at the end of the evening cleaning up and left my kitchen cleaner than it was when she arrived. I will definitely use Fresh Catering for future parties. Thanks ladies! read more
