To be 100% honest don't go here to play, the store is good and those employees are helpful and kind to customers and professional, but do N O T go there to actually play airsoft, the staff are a bunch of over grown children, and just straight up children, they definitely love to power trip people and make mountains out of mole hills, I'm not gonna go into detail cause I'd rather post this anonymously but seriously, the staff is incredible unprofessional and high and mighty in the part of the store you actually play airsoft in, go somewhere else, avoid the headache and likely fist fight you will have to avoid with the god awful staff read more

Store is awesome and people there are great. For the game play. Seems like friends of the refs can do what ever and however with no penalties. If you bring up an issue about a player and the ref calls that person by name its a waste of time. Even the Mgr will take the refs favorites side ever time. I've been coming here a long time, I've spent a lot of money at this place. Best field in the city, hands down. Myself, my kids, and my two best friends used to play at your field every sinday and Wednesday possible for atleast two years now. We watched y'all grow. But, just know, that is where the warm fuzzies on this experience ends. You now have the best field, but the worst hours, rules, and refs we've ever encountered. You let your employees run your business to the ground. Ok, heres the breakdown- We used to go play all day for $25.00. We would buy guns at 400+ whenever we would have a rifle failure, we purchased clothing, mags, bbs, face masks, lights, and everything else we ever needed. We always order food, drinks, and have a good time. Now.... holy cow, It's rough to say the least. Currently, you get 3 hours of play for $25.00. However, of those three hours you pay for, the refs fart around and waste an hour of it. These same rogue employees decide to end the session 30 minutes early. What?!?! Is this for real?!?! "First session" was supposed to go until 3pm but your refs stopped play at 2:30 and told no one. We all just sat there with our thumbs up our butts waiting. And not just us, a group of 10-15 players overall. We all left upset, unsatisfied, and we won't be back! I told my wife I'm done with you. You are losing your main base and it's sad to watch. Reality is, you may be the nicest place, but, you are not the ONLY place in town. My mates and I are going to switch to Tanks and utilize the Dallas fields. Y'all are running it to the ground! And, for the record, your biggest fan, seriously just told me he doesn't want to play at your field anymore - which is why I'm writing this review. Deep pockets just left the building! read more

So a lot of people really don't understand why airsoft hurts or why it is how it is. This field is by far one of the best indoor fields and the closest by far. The people who act like everyone is rude to them don't understand that most of the employees are trying to enforce the rules and it's mainly because of what happened at the old location. It's airsoft. It's gonna hurt and there will be cheaters. But that doesn't really ruin the experience. I've seen it that most of the time they catch cheaters real quick and will personally make sure they're either dealt with or asked to leave. Trust me I've seen it happen (not the ask to leave part). Other than that little speech, this place is the best. Great Players, great arena, really good safety before fun. I hope people who look at this review realize that cheaters will always exist in airsoft and many arenas. In fact it's mostly due to people not following the rules too. If you see a hand up. I've beeen going here for a while now and never ever have I ever been kicked out of an establishment, it was any usual Saturday, I brought my roommate with me because he wanted to give it a try. We got there and everything was fine up until all the refs friends and polar star users joined. Long story short we were winning and all the polar star players joined one team without the refs say! After I had been getting hit continuously even after calling my hits. Like any regular non cheating player I got fed up with it and left in mid match, after getting pretty heated in a big argument I was given the opportunity to speak on what happened and why I was upset............ Awesome shop with a ton of variety but the customer service needs a lot of work. Employee look like zombies and don't want to be there. We went in for some green gas and some parts we walked in and browsed around a little hoping someone would come and help us out but after walking around a over 10 minutes and passing eye to eye glances with the employees no one came until we heard over the intercom that we needed to sign in if we need any help... would've been nice to know as we walked in or even be greeted as we walked in but whatever. After we signed in we almost immediately got someone to help us out but the experience was not good the employee has a hard time finding the items we needed and didn't really know if they would work on my airsoft even tho it's and Evike EMG airsoft which literally comes from the company that has their name on this shop. I tell myself it is what it is it's a big store they probably don't know about everything they have on the shelves and maybe he would ask one of his fellow employees after minutes of him running around and unable to help me out I just said I would look it up online myself which I normally do because this location is a 45+min drive we even had to wait at the check out for someone to come check us out.... this visit was a complete waste of my time and gas i used to come to HGA when they first opened up in spring and man has this place really gone down. Section 1: Summary If I want to play airsoft, this is my go to. The staff are really respectful of you treat them the same, the refs who explain the games are very no-nonsense but it's all things you should have learned in school, like don't talk when they're talking, don't be obnoxious and don't cheat. Typically, there's little punishment for cheaters and you just have to trust people. My main issue is that there's only one arena and it's not necessarily huge but it's extremely fun for speedsoft. Another issue is the light bands... oh the light bands. Recently, they made these light bands mandatory to play and then they went out of stock. They've been out of stock for like 3 weeks and have had to give out Velcro bands to players who dont have the light bands. Obviously, if you don't have the light band, they're not gonna kick you out, it's just an inconvenience. Section 2: The Arena As a CS:GO player, call outs are very appreciated. Luckily, this place has very clear areas that has names that are easy to pickup, Main Street, Winchester, bistro, etc. and it's very convenient. The arena is laid out like a rectangle, blue starts in bravo and red starts in alpha, each on opposite sides of main street, the biggest most open area which players typically shoot at each other across from. It's no man's land. On each side of Main Street, there are two houses that connect the sides and their constant choke points, hard to cross if you don't have team mates with you. There's White House, on the far side of the entrance, and Green House, on the left. This leads to adrenaline pumping action as you make the valiant charge against the Main Street, trying to make each step faster than the crossfire flying from both teams just to get across enemy lines and blast up a bunch of those pesky players. If you can't tell, this is my sh*t. Section 2: The Community One review said the players were toxic? Sure, some get upset at small things but I've never seen an actual ANGRY player, and most people are really really cool, a lot are awesome. Im no beginner but I've seen several players who are much better than I help out the newbies, hell you see a load of children playing and they're not bullied or anything like that at all. If you're afraid to play here like I was because of fear of the community, don't be. Ever. None of us bite, I assure. And those who do, won't last long at a place like this. Section 3: The Shop What else can be said? This place is easily the biggest in person airsoft shop I have ever had the pleasure of being in. Not by size, no it's fairly small but their stock is awe inspiring. Compensators, tracer units, extended magazines, grenades, grenade skins, armor, stickers, patches, EVERYTHING. Section 4: The Workers The staff are really cool and chill! They won't put up with your bs if you're being "that guy" and they will treat you like your cool parent's side of the family. You know the ones. It's great and I don't have much else to say except everyone has been nice. In conclusion, there are flaws, sure but this is the best you'll find, likely in the greater Houston area. Its arena is fantastic, the staff are great, the shop is breathtaking, the food is surprisingly good, and the players are nearly the best thing about it. Go here. I have a love-hate relationship with this place. I have been playing airsoft for a while and this place is extremely fun but also extremely toxic. To start, there is a man who works in the store at the front who is extremely rude to his employees and to customers. The worst part of this place is some of the players. They bring there blinding flashlights and airpowered assult rifles and over shoot people like crazy. Most of the time I feel bad because a little kids birthday part is ruined becuase some teenager decided to shoot him 20 times from point blank. If you come here make sure to be prepared to get overshot and leave with scars. No amount of clothing can save you from those painful plastic pellets. read more

What a store! I have been to a few airsoft shops since my son got interested in it. Most have been in Dallas where we live and I thought we had it good there. Boy was I surprised when I visited Evike. If you know airsoft, you have probably seen the Evike web store and its wide selection. This store does a good job of showing off an extremely wide variety of just about everything you can think of. Want to see a sniper rifle? They've got 20 plus to choose from spanning all sorts of capabilities and price points. There is a section of vintage guns, shotguns, pistols etc. They also have a modest selection of clothes and web gear. Best part is the staff is friendly and was more than happy to pull the guns off the wall and let you get a feel for them. The store also has an indoor arena and an area where you can "test ride" a potential purchase. I unfortunately did not have time to try that out though. read more

Let me start off with I've been comming here for a while now and every time has been a great time but this time I went I had absolutely horrible service I bought a gun worth almost $700 and I got to use it for about one or two games and it stoped working and then when I was getting my money back the employee left out that it would take about a day or two to get my money back and I don't have another gun to use cause I bought one to play with and it would have been nice to know if that it would take a couple days cause if I would have know that I could have just traded that's gun for a different one honestly this was the worst experience ever and I don't think I will be coming back here again read more

Starting off, the location on the square is not very well defined. When i first went to the Evike Outpost, there were no signs telling you where to go and therefore, finding the location was difficult. Second, the staff within the building do not seem very professional and act more like your superiors than helpful staff. Another reason i gave this Yelp review a 3 star is simply due to the demo graph of the people that go there, which tend to lean toward young teenagers or older kids which act immature and sometimes do not call their hits. Other than these issues, the Outpost is very functional and although immature, the players are nice and everyone seems to get along. P.S. Food can get pricey. read more
