They have a pistol on display I really like but after they refused to honor the quoted price for my transfer it made it really difficult to want to do any further business with them. I'll find that pistol I saw elsewhere. I'm a business owner and don't understand why a business would jeopardize future business and poor reviews over a few bucks. It's not about the money, it's about integrity and doing the right thing by honoring your word.

We could have ordered it on line and paid shipping and put it together ourselves (I do not recommend that!), but we wanted to see and touch the rack we had selected before committing. We found RFTR and visited with the owner, Ryan. He showed us the model we wanted, we discussed options, and he showed us other cheaper models as well. I was impressed that he didn't try to up sell us or just immediately sell us the top of the line model we came in for. Ryan is very customer service focused. He answered all of our questions and gave us hands on instruction on how to place the rack on my Subaru. I even took my bike in and he showed us how to properly load and unload it. After a horrific visit at a close by competitor that has USA in their name... this place stood out like a beacon in the night on a foggy night at sea. Upon entering we were immediately greated within 3 seconds. The gentlemen there welcomed us in as if we were familiar family. We approached the counter and I asked them if they did trades and he said yes but it depends on exactly what I was interested in trading. I went back to my vehicle to show them my trade and a little background and they were more than happy to give me close to what I purchased it for as it was only 2 days old from where I originally purchased it from. They happily gave us a small tour of their facilities and showed us some products of interest. They were extremely knowledgeable about every product there as they are also a gunsmith shop so can also do any type of modification allowable. I was extremely happy to hear that they have a 30 days return policy on anything you buy there. Their nearby competitor surely doesn't have that same policy. The customer service is excellent and I was able to make my trade as well as buy new hardware. I'm also happy to announce that they are adding a range early next year right next to them. I love that small shop feel of a place vs the corporate treatment where you're treated only as a number. In fact, whilst I was there another customer walked in complaining about that same nearby competitor and how bad they were with customer service. My brother in law is a collector of guns, he calls it his hobby. So while I was visiting he asked if I wanted to go shooting at the range and of course I am a lover of guns as well ( but not to the extent of him ). But I haven't been to the gun range in quite some time so it was great to blow off some weapons. The gun laws in the state of Texas are a lot different then than the ones in Virginia and the licenses are as well. For instance his permits are valid in a lot more states than mine. Texas concealed weapons permit is honored by most states other than NY and NJ. ( I am from NYC, born and raised there and I know how strict the hun laws are there) and a couple of others where my concealed carry wis not valid in quite a few states..But enough of that because I could go on and on about the difference in gun laws between Texas are Virginia. Let's get back to this review!. My brother in law and I pulled up in the parking lot and walked in. There was a large selection of guns and ammunition to purchase to the right and also the line to wait for the gun range. To the left of the store when you walk in was a vending machine and the restrooms. The restroom was clean. My brother in law mentioned that this location was newly built and it showed. We stood in line, I had to fill out a waiver because it was my first time here. When we got to the register I just had to show my identification. My brother in law had his own weapons and gun chart papers so we didn't have to purchase theirs. We waited until they called his name and which stall was ready to use for practice!. I believe you pay by the hour, we were able and had enough time to use all the ammunition and new magazines he brought to try out at the range.
