Always friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection at competitive prices. Consignment items for those that are budget conscious.

I love buying local and they had the best price on my Sig Sauer P320 X5 Legion. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous.

The only place I buy guns. I shop everywhere and usually end up back at AGR. They usually have great consignment deals! Ask for Richard.

Walking up to this place makes you feel like saluting to the good ole Texas flag!…read more This spot absolutely became my heroes on the very first visit. After a horrific visit at a close by competitor that has USA in their name... this place stood out like a beacon in the night on a foggy night at sea. Upon entering we were immediately greated within 3 seconds. The gentlemen there welcomed us in as if we were familiar family. We approached the counter and I asked them if they did trades and he said yes but it depends on exactly what I was interested in trading. I went back to my vehicle to show them my trade and a little background and they were more than happy to give me close to what I purchased it for as it was only 2 days old from where I originally purchased it from. They happily gave us a small tour of their facilities and showed us some products of interest. They were extremely knowledgeable about every product there as they are also a gunsmith shop so can also do any type of modification allowable. I was extremely happy to hear that they have a 30 days return policy on anything you buy there. Their nearby competitor surely doesn't have that same policy. The customer service is excellent and I was able to make my trade as well as buy new hardware. I'm also happy to announce that they are adding a range early next year right next to them. I love that small shop feel of a place vs the corporate treatment where you're treated only as a number. In fact, whilst I was there another customer walked in complaining about that same nearby competitor and how bad they were with customer service. Clearly they have a reputation that Texas Underground doesn't have and have been the savior of many. This is my official spot going forward for Ammo and Armory. Be secure and Prosper.

I ordered I think it was a shotgun this was over a year ago and I have bought a 1/2 Dozen firearms since from a real dealer WARF arms but I still have the bad taste in my mouth from my experience. I called him several times but they never answered so I sent him a email because my purchase was online this clown called me back offended was rude & insolent and he sense I wasn't having none of his BS he refunded my purchase without me asking to avoid meeting an ultra alpha male like me in person which was a blessing in disguise. My combat veteran neighbor took me to his spot after I asked him if he knew any places so he personally took me and hooked me up with a person that a lot more mature and I have made several purchases with absolutely NO attitude at all David missed out on over 1k of purchases from me and he has know one to blame but himself and his attitude

Yeah--pretty much nailed my experience here. Didn't even make it to the range. The vibe said loud and clear: wrong place for you buddy. I hate to see all the bad reviews and want to say something. I've noticed a trend that…read more shooting ranges, especially indoor ones, have their share of vocal complainers. I'm not sure what they are expecting but gun ranges are not elegant, fancy or going to cater to your every need and whim. They are normally run by an old grumpy Veteran and w a staff that is normally very direct, stern and short bc they are dealing w life and death.. they can come across as rude, but it's not meant to normally. It's the fact they're often dealing with not smart people, not used to shooting firearms, and are casually holding things that kill people.. not your favorite martini. Keep all that in mind and don't expect them to baby you. First, this IS NOT the best range for first time shooters. Can you do it, sure, ideal- no. Second, I love this little range. It's a small, back of the neighborhood type of place. Only 18 yards or so. It's not fancy and only 5 or 6 lanes.. They expect you to know what you're doing; get in, do your thing, use standard firearm protocol for ranges, then get out. The owner has always been nice to me, as w the staff.

We even dealt with the OWNER, who was the rudest of them all. The second we arrived, they asked where we were from. We brushed it off as small talk, but looking back, it felt like judgment. We were a large bridal party with both experienced and new shooters. Since this is advertised as a TRAINING CENTER, we expected the staff to be welcoming toward beginners, review safety, and provide proper instruction. Especially since we had called ahead, explained it was for a bridal party, and were told they were "excited to have us." No mention was made about experience being an issue. Upon signing the liability waiver, the owner handed me a Ruger magazine (even after we said we were more familiar with Glock). He gave us five seconds to load it (even after we explained we usually use a tool because of our nails) before yanking it back, saying he had "seen enough," and accusing us of lying about our shooting experience. At that point, everyone was uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. When we told them, the owner yelled that he'd be happy to take our money but didn't want us shooting there anyway. As we walked out, he and his staff stood at the window and stared at us until we drove away. Truly, this was the most uncomfortable and unnerving experience I've ever had at a gun range and we are members at multiple ranges in our home state... I highly encourage. You read the one star reviews of people having ricochet bullets hit their hands and they begin bleeding and need to go to the ER and the owners didn't care. Or about the owner screaming at a seven-year-old. Please check the other reviews before coming here!!
