Stepped in browse through their vinyl records collection , I was greeted upon entrance . This store is pretty cool, they have a lot of vintage items such as cassettes, vinyl records, vhs , tshirts, posters , etc. I love digging in crates looking for classic music on vinyl . They had really good records, top tier no doubt. Two things I didn't like was the prices on the records and the service. one record of Drake "Nothing Was The Same" album, that was $49 plus tax. Then the service was terrible. I said "happy holidays" to a worker and she didn't even say it back. Very upsetting. read more

Rusty had excellent service! Really good guy! Fun to chit chat with! However Alex's customer service was horrible. I was talking to my friend about vape products and he immediately asked me what my occupation was and assumed I worked at a smoke shop, and said it in a nasty way. I saw some handcuffs in there that didn't look very safe (they didn't have safety hatches) and I asked as a simple question (mainly out of curiosity) to Alex, "are these legal?" And he replied with a rude attitude "I don't really know or care it's not my business" and I replied, "don't you work here?" And he responded with a "yeah, I do" and left to the other side of the shop. I felt like he was glaring at me while my friend and I were talking to Rusty. Other than that, really cool shop! Lots of cool stuff! But, I wouldn't go back in their Because I felt very uncomfortable with that particular employee. read more

Went there for record store day and I was very impressed. The lady in the store was super sweet and helpful. They also had a very organized system for dealing with the large crowd (handed tickets out for Taylor swift vinyl and limited one per person so it wasn't an all our war ) Aside from record store day it looked like that had a very large selection for more modern artists, which can sometimes be difficult to find at a record store. Between the friendly staff and selection of records I will definitely be visiting this store more often for my record needs! read more

This place was awesome!! I was only looking for LPs, but it seemed like they had many other items in the store, including some awesome and rare Frank Kozik show posters! Great little music store for those that want the tangible music collection. The store staff were really helpful and friendly! Found a few good finds, one vintage and a few new all within 10 minutes. Very clean and organized store, selection isn't huge, but definitely worth looking through! I'm sure I'll be back frequently. read more

Pretty cool spot, staff is nice. This is the sister store, haven't checked out the original location yet. Been to many music stores in Houston and Austin. Everything is new even older albums are new,(so have money to spend) they have very very little used vinyls and CDs so if you're looking for savings, I'd go elsewhere. Came for vinyl, got two new records and they were both warped one was horrible the other was enough to annoy you, so it was a huge bummer. Went back and exchanged for some CDs since they didn't have any others in stocks, haven't listened to them yet so fingers crossed. I dislike how the store labels stuff. They have a few names then all the miscellaneous behind, it's kind of hard to find stuff here compared to other places in Houston. And the CDs, I'm sorry to tell you but every artist that happens to be black doesn't go in Hip-Hop and Rap... Earth, wind & fire, Michael Jackson, Badu (many more) are not hip hop or rap. The rock/emo/metal and other stuff seem to be in okay order but it's still annoying having to search for stuff and if you ask the staff they will ask you if there's any "over there". Also lots of smoking stuff, some backpacks, skating stuff, and pretty neat stickers (which I'll be back for) if that's your kind of thing. So if you head here make sure you're coming for something specific or have the time to search. read more

This place reminds me of the music shops I went to when I was younger: music and patchouli! (I doubt they're are a Ticketmaster outlet, though...) I went in looking for vinyl; the selection was decent across different genres: Alternative, Metal, Blues, Rap, Country, Classic Rock, and Classic Pop. I walked out with a little bit of everything, including items tagged for National Record Store Day. (I'm not sure if there's anything special about that, but I like the stickers!) The staff was friendly, and helpful. I'm sure I'll be back. My only complaint is pricing. I understand it's a small business.... But, when I buy vinyl on Amazon, I get a digital download with the purchase. The pricing in the store is comparable to Amazon nonetheless. read more

Been a huge fan of Alicia's Sound Revolution since the 1990s. Now, when all other record retailer are cutting back, Sound Revolution opens a second location off the Houston/College Station corridor (249) in Tomball. This location is much roomier and stocked well with the latest releases on CD and on the revived vinyl format! Looking for e-cigs or for advice on vapes, Sound Revolution's got that too! Great store for vinyl collectors friendly staff who treat you like life long friends and not customers, the wall decor was beautiful and I could just be in that store for weeks and still be finding something new. The only two problems I have are that the store doesn't have a big used vinyl collection and is mostly reissues of the album and the music isn't very welcoming but besides that I totally recommend this store read more

I absolutely love this place. The record selection is more than adequate, and their electronic cigarette collection is the best of any other ecig retailer I've been to. Their return policy sux. They will not back they products they sell. I spent 55 dollars at this place. Bought a vape device and oil. They device worked once and would not charge and the top would not come off when we tried to refill it. Took it back and they would not back this product. I guess the Chinese have them over a barrel. I will be looking for another vape store an or continue online shopping. Amazon backs what they sell so far for me. read more
