I had so much fun. I like this place is outdoors. Such a huge place as they had different sections for different types of shooting. You only pay for your annual membership of $5. Unless you shooting clays, then you have to buy theirs. You cannot bring your own. The staff was nice at both areas of check-in. They go over the rules and expectations if you are new. We even something wrong at one point, but they are respectful when correcting you. We plan to come back. I bet it's very nice in the fall.

Always an enjoyable time shooting here. Everyone I've met and spoken to have been very supportive and welcoming. I have learned there is a great deal of respect among gun owners and I believe practicing is not only necessary if you are a gun owner (and a novice like I am), but it can also be therapeutic. FYI: each year you must register for a new key card and it will cost $5.

$5 "membership" fee whether you want to or not. They say cheaper for future visits, man y'all starting off the wrong foot and making me not want to come back. 2 individuals who are unfriendly and only explain their "rules" once. Don't bother to tell you they charge for eye and ear protection so you'll see that charge. EVERY RANGE in the world comes with free eyes and ears when you pay a lane fee, cmon!! Your lane fee comes with 1 target but they will always say to get a few more. Little do you know they're $5 a piece when academy has a stack of 20 for the same price. $25 "pistol" range fee idk if it's different for AR since my friend checked that one in when we heard they charged per gun. Ridiculous. $10 steel charge to shoot it. If you don't have the bracelet you can't shoot steel. If there is people hogging the station you can't shoot steel. Good luck, first come first serve. Cease fire occurs every 30 min. 5 min break to put up new targets. Safety is number 1, and by far the best thing in this range. They over charged my friend for including me in his bill. Then blatantly went ahead and charged me right after him since I was in line behind him. Didn't bother to say hey man he's fine since I charged your friend. Everything in the shop Is insanely over priced. Not to mention the looks they give you if you ask to see something from the glass case. Absolute no rapid fire in premises which absolutely sucked when it's outdoor and you want to mag dump on a bad day. INSTEAD, go to TOP GUN in Houston and let yourself dump mags quickly. DONT EVER buy ammo there, man they're still stuck in 2020 prices or something. 1.Come prepared with targets since they only give you 1 and charge $5 / ea 2.Ammo 3.bring Eye + Ear protection. (They sell kits for under $25 that includes 2 of each at academy or Amazon) (Ear plugs are acceptable, glasses are acceptable) Not worth the drive unless you live nearby and not worth stepping on eggshells when all you want to do is bring your 5 rifles and 5 hand guns and they charge you for each one. Ridiculous.

Nice upgrade shooting benches and sheds. Well run, personable. Can be messy if it's rained a lot. But all in all well managed

Experienced seniors or military on site. Just mind the range officer and you'll be ok. Ask for rules it's quite already gut

Not a member but enjoyed the 119 photos, retired LE, don't know about membership. Seems like a well organized range.

The place looks like a hole in the wall from the outside. The parking space is really small. And the neighborhood looks like you may need to be armed. But trust me all of that is truly nitpicky after you get to meet the crew. I haven't fired a firearm in over 10 years and needed to finally get a Texas license. I was immediately welcomed as I came in and it wasn't a plastic "Welcome to WalMart" welcome. I walked around looking at their guns and accessories and their lanes. I was surprised on how many lanes they had. I was still a bit nervous when a female a manager started to talk to me. (Man I really feel like a dummy for not remembering her name. I think it was Sonia). She calmed my nerves and asked all the appropriate questions. She took her time and answered everyone to my satisfaction. I told her that I signed up for their Saturday class but once again told her I was nervous about the required time sequence for the shooting portion. She then told me that I could come back any time before Saturday and that their instructor Nelson would teach me and prepare me for the test. I came the next day and I met with Nelson. Remember that name: NELSON!! He took his time in giving me very clear instructions and told me that if I followed his instructions I could ace the shooting portion. He then tested me and I actually got a 100% score!! This guy is truly AMAZING!!! As I was leaving he reminded me that my lane rental, which included ear and eye protection, was available for the day. I went back with my two 9mm handguns and blew the bulls eye out. Mark my words: I will not go anywhere else but to Marksman Indoor Range. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Next step is that AR-15. That will be for another review.

Great service and decent variety of guns Friendly…read moreenvironment and cheat targets over tall great experience for my first time
