So this is in two parts: the range and guns. The range - I've shot here twice in the past few months. Super efficient at getting in and shooting. If you do the on line checking as far as paperwork required, process goes fast. Pricing is fair. The times I've been there, the range masters were observant but not invasive - I felt comfortable. The guns for sale - so Ive bought 3 from them in the last few months. All new and all ordered from their online site. They have a huge selection to choose from and the prices are great. Better than Academy and anyone the gun auction sites. This works great if you know what you want. So find what you want anywhere, other store or fun show and then check their prices. Delivery on all three was 3 days from date of order. No back order - if it says in stock, it's in stock. Also, watch for promo codes. I've saved 10% on two and another $25.00 off. Very friends and knowledgeable staff. There feeling here is real welcoming to all levels of shooters. The range is clean and gives you the ability to shoot from 5 to 25 yards. It's not a tactical range so don't think you'll be doing any of that. Still, it's a great place to shoot with a bunch of chill shooters, improve your skills and with a great staff. I started shooting here about a year ago because I wanted to improve my overall defense skills in Houston. To be honest, in any city you owe it to yourself to be aware of dangers and also the options you have to defend yourself especially as a woman against larger targets. I took personal classes with Collin and he did a fantastic job of educating me and helping me avoid any bad habits that a lot of times can happen without a lot of experience. Fast forward to now and I have my CCW, own several firearms and have become proficient in a lot of things that I never thought I would have been able to do just a year ago. The staff here are fantastic. They are friendly, they get to know who you are and actually show a caring side while also never, ever making you feel like you are new or less than someone who has been here for years. That matters. I also shoot with the ladies group once a month and that's great. Richard is another fantastic instructor who also supervised my CCW test. I can't give this place more than 5 stars or I would. If you ever have had even a passing interest in learning more about firearms and shooting, just stop by here and ask some questions. You won't regret it. Highly recommended. read more

It is a absolute shame that I have to do a Google review on a place that I've been member with for over two years.TO BE HIT WITH A TOOL IS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!!! Ill start in the beginning from the jump. I believe Mr. James L the manager I believe that's his name had a horrible attitude since the moment I walked in, he was yelling at employees being very aggressive towards other employees, but that wasn't any of my business. My business was to come in and shoot and have a good time to make a long story short I was stopped in the middle of shooting for shooting too fast. During this time, I am recording instead of the Lady,( short lady, very muscular and i think tattoos very distinct looking lady you can't miss her) working in the range, tapping me on my shoulder. She proceeds to take the utensil that scoops the bullets And hit me with it yes I said correctly hit!!! all of this is recorded!! and I can't wait for corporate to see the recording! The story does not end there She tells me to stop shooting so fast I stopped. I tell her that I'm recording and she says that doesn't matter please stop shooting so fast. I said OK cool I turned around and the manager Mr. James comes in and says hey if we have to tell you again You're gonna be removed I said OK. I proceed to set up my camera at A better angle And I continue to shoot At a pace that was acceptable considering the manager just gave me instructions to shoot 1 to 2 seconds in between shots. Not even two minutes later, the manager To come in in the middle of my shooting and scream to the top of his lungs right behind my head Cease-fire. The first issue is he's yelling in my ear. The second issue is cease-fire means everyone is supposed to stop shooting. The only person who was required to stop shooting with me.... Again everything is recorded every single detail of this post is recorded.... He tells me to get out, fast and to leave. I tell him hey I'm currently recording. There's no way that you just warned me two minutes ago, I turned on a video recording and I proceed to violate what you just asked me and I'm a member!! of two years!!! that doesn't make any sense, sir can we please review the video before you decide to kick me out out of a place that I'm a member of? He says no get out right now. So I said OK cool. I proceeded to grab my things. There are a lot of other details to the story, he continued to yell at me on the way out. He did not consider the fact that I was actually recording. He did not care that I was a member , and I don't remember anything of any business!!!! where it's OK to pick up a utensil used to clean. And use it on a customer!!! I am at the floor. I am not a window. I am not a shelf. I am not a roof. I am a human!!!! and like I said before everything is recorded. So please, before you enter this range Consider that this is how they run their establishment. Like I said clearly I've been a member for two years and this is the first time I've ever experienced anything bad at range Usa! My son and I shoot here weekly and appreciate the level of safety and professionalism everyone has shown over the past 6-months that we've been members. Also the daily deals and firearm selection, in store and online is very good. Really appreciate how everyone is respectful and friendly. Regarding in the negative experience reported about Canadians, here's what I was able to dig up. Me and my son got turned away. We filled out the waiver. Everything was passed and they claim that there's a new law that Canadians and Mexicans with such ID's are not allowed to shoot in their franchise. It's a new law. Apparently they say from the government six months ago, but yet they had no room to explain their situation but yet they banned us from coming in there because my son was from Canada and out of Canadian ID. I've been a member for a couple of months now and am happy to have joined. The staff is always friendly and professional. Safety is always there but not oppressive. Everyone is welcomed. While most of the line is filled with middle aged white guys (like myself), I've seen women in burkas next to a father speaking Spanish teaching his kid how to shoot. read more
