The best [art was the MANAGER was the best!!! I left some items on the plane when I went to pay and was fumbling and embarrassed and realized I had to go back to my plane & this manager made me feel SO taken care of. The rules here are very inconsistent. I asked if I could order a Cobb salad and remove the bacon and cheese and was told I would need to build my own. I ended up paying extra for the exact same salad even though I actually got less items and then the guy behind me was allowed to remove items and make substitutions on his menu listed salad. Airports often seem to be a wasteland of bad food choices. Evergreens, located in the main food court, is an exception to this rule. Specializing in bowls and wraps made with fresh ingredients and grains they also have breakfast offerings. When traveling I often have to catch to 5:55 am flight to SeaTac which means I have to find breakfast while I wait for my connecting flight. My favorite has become the steel cut oatmeal bowl. With your choice of a variety of berries, fruits, and nuts it makes a satisfying and reasonably healthy meal. Although I haven't tried them, the other breakfast bowls look really good as well. Because each meal is custom prepared, three is often a few minutes wait in line, though it is certainly not excessive. read more

None of you will believe this..... I had planned when I landed in Seattle to hit one of my favorite spots to eat EVERGREEN SALAD - it would be perfect I land at 9pm, get a healthy to go and have for when I get home and it's too late to make a production as a guest that I was hungry etc ..... however the flights were delayed. So i called and JOSHUA answered, he gave AMAZING customer service - WOW! He was so caring that I had an appetite for their SUPER YUMMY FRESH meals with AAAAMAZING DRESSINGS he said he would make the salad and have it ready for me AND STAY after closing time if I didn't make it. I love the concept, eating a gluten-free and vegan diet myself. But my first experience with them was less than stellar. They were out of tofu so I added avocado or extra protein and they charged me two dollars for it even though they didn't have all ingredients for the salad. Good place to go when in Seatac Airport. I got the Cobb Salad wrap and it is very good. Little pricey but you can eat it on the plane. They have lots of varieties that can be made into a wrap, bowl, or salad. They do have add ins but you need to ask. It is located in the huge seating area off the C gates. read more

Wishes so hard they were sweetgreen. Possibly the most disappointing salad I've ever eaten. Bread is meh too. I was not really a salad person but have been trying more and more. Noticed this new addition at the airport and wanting something light, decided to get a salad. The menu is the best part and the items look quite inviting. However the When Berry Met Salad was a bit on the soggy side. Ironically the service also seemed that way, with people rushing. I know it's the airport but this does not strike one as airport food, hence the draw. Overall the salad was good, but if the essential greens are not super fresh and crunchy it takes the shine off. I was relieved to find this place before catching my flight. It was challenging to find a place with gluten and dairy free options at this airport. The food was very fresh. I created my own grain bowl where I could pick whatever veggies and toppings I wanted. Quinoa and rice were the grain options, and while the quinoa was slightly undercooked and a little more al dente than I like, it was still quite edible. I ordered the cilantro lime dressing on top and could catch neither flavor in it. I'm not sure if I got the wrong dressing, or if it was supposed to taste like a sweetish ginger miso sauce. What a shock. The remodel of thr terminal at Sea-Tac involved the Food Court and imagine my surprise when I decided to breakdown and have a burger and Wendy's had been replaced by Evergreens. I had a wrap of my own design, super fresh, great selection with little between my food and the earth except for a washing in a sink. The people were extremely nice, I'd be happy too if I didn't have to sling burgers when what people rally wanted was something wholesome and well prepared. I've been eating at different Evergreens for years and love it. The SeaTac Airport Evergreens doesn't seem like the same restaurant. The girl I've had make my salad twice now doesn't let you add on any extra veggies. I asked for light dressing and she added so much it tasted awful. My bowl ends up only 3/4 full compared to other evergreens. If they are almost out of a lettuce, you just don't get any more unless someone took the time to get more. Wow. Wow. Wow. Had an hour layover at the airport and got lucky to find this place. The line was long but noticed how quickly it moved and due it being the only "heathy organic option" in the terminal, it was a no-brainer so we did the deed. Their Grain Bowls are amazing & pleasantly affordable ($10) and the portion is/was large. I went for the SuperBowl but made some alterations and it was fantastico! It was sooo good we hit it up again the following week with another layover. But this time I went with the SuperBowl Wrap with alterations and it was right up there with the best wrap I ever had. And get this - I didn't eat it until 4 hrs later when we got back home to LA...and it was still so fresh, you'd think it was just made! Los Angeles is aching for something like Evergreens. Don't get me wrong, there's places, but nothing comparable to the value & quality period. It's like a Chipotle style place but with salad bowls & wraps, with quick & friendly service.
