This is the airport QDOBA. It's fast, and consistent, and they've got their own little seating area, and generally, you can find a seat there if you're traveling alone, or you can carry your stuff to the bigger food-court style place. Like I said, the food is consistent - it tastes the same as every other QDOBA ever. It's reasonably clean and the people there are generally about as excited to be working at QDOBA as you would imagine they are. I don't blame them. If I worked at QDOBA I'd either be super fat or super annoyed. These people are neither, so they're doing something right. So 4-stars for being a QDOBA! I'm holding one star back because it's not an 'experience' in any sense of the word. Apparently it's been 7 years (and many, MANY flights) since I last reviewed this epic SEA QDOBA location. And, well, I still love it. And yes, I still get the chicken burrito with all the fixin's because, well, it's just the best. Since I seem to have a penchant for booking ridiculously early flights, I appreciate that this airport QDOBA serves all styles of their world famous offerings at all hours of the day. Yes, even at 7am you can get a traditional breakfast burrito with eggs and sausage...OR you can get a chicken burrito with rice, beans, and habanero sauce to enjoy on the plane. Do they look at you a little funny when you order this concoction before most people have even finished their morning coffee? Yes, sometimes. But that isn't enough to stop this Early Morning Burrito Lover. I'd probably give this spot 5 stars except that the tables always seem to be messy. I get it, they're busy. But also...ewwwwww. They may have good burritos, but it's not exactly a calming spot to sit and enjoy your layover. read more

Always an airport go-to! Love that this is the first thing outside of security because that's usually when I start thinking about what I want to eat. There is usually a line, but if moves quickly. I personally take mine togo and eat it somewhere else or on the plane since the eating area is a bit chaotic by the security. I LOVE their queso and chips. The chips always have a hint of lime. BUT the workers have no idea about any allergen info. They told me to google if the queso was gluten free which was...interesting. So go knowing what you can eat because they do not really have the time/patience to go above and beyond since it's such a high volume location. It's not glam, customer service is sub par, but the food quality is always great and they truly have a great system figured out. read more

Not a breakfast burrito, but a regular, plain old burrito: black beans and rice, lettuce and salsa. They were out of jalapenos, but it was 7am, so perhaps that can be excused? I customized it by adding cilantro lime rice, black beans, cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, and shredded romaine lettuce. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and delicious. I truly enjoyed the bowl. The price point was about $15, which wasn't too bad. The staff members were friendly and helpful. They were also quick to prepare my bowl. Life saving! My flight was delayed over an hour and my connecting flight ended up leaving without me. Stuck and stranded at SeaTac at midnight, I was exhausted, hungry, and frustrated I would have to sleep at another airport. Luckily, there's a little food court with a 24/7 cafe and Qdoba (similar to Chipotle) The friendly staff literally made my morning despite the insane morning/evening I've had. I ordered the small steak, eggs and potato breakfast bowl with a bottle of orange juice. My steak, eggs and potatoes were topped with pico, queso, and salsa verde. But it is uncomfortably rushed- like they are asking what you want in your bowl and you can't even see your options. I had never been so didn't know what to expect. The first time I got the 3-cheese nachos with chips on the side and the second time I got the nachos plus a chicken bowl. Both items were huge in portion size, had tons of ingredients and toppings and lots of flavor.
