Chicken nuggets as usually are not as good as Canada but the worst thing was the special gold sauce. It was like honey mustard plus something but the whole flavoring of the dip was super light. After ordering breakfast and coffee from this airport McDonald's in Terminal B, my wife, who has an eye for efficient process, said, "That's the fastest McDonald's I've ever been to." Great airport McDonald's. They have an automated system to make ordering easy and they get you your order quickly. Only negative is there is no real area to sit and eat around here. Also the automated menu makes it hard to customize things like getting a milk shake with a value meal. Overall a great experience. read more

They're open again! In general, I avoid any McDonald's in Seattle - sorry, but they always seem to disappoint or have some major issues. The Seatac one is the only exception. They have figured it out a working system here. All orders are done via the kiosks, and the staff calls out your number within a few minutes of ordering (they even step out from the counter to hand over your food and make sure you don't miss your order getting called). The food here is thankfully decent quality. However, if you're thinking of getting the McCrispy, save your money and order something else, as shrinkflation is real. They also don't accept app coupons here, which doesn't shock me as I've noticed this across most airports. read more

I haven't been to a McDonald's since several years before the pandemic. I was pleasantly surprised by the crew working during my visit (8:51pm). They worked together like a team should. The female manager was directing and engaged in getting food out to customers quickly as many waited with hungry stomachs. This location also has several debit/credit only kiosks but since I had cash (which is rare), I ordered at the counter. Robert (with the man bun) was kind and my order was correct, no errors and good quality for the price. I asked him several questions and he answered each one with patience. Definitely recommend this McDonald's at the Seattle airport whenever you're hungry and waiting for a flight. This McD does not honor the rewards club and discounts offered on the app. They used to. This is the only McD I ever frequent because I work at the airport. But the prices are almost ridiculous compared to regular locations, and it feels like you're paying extra just because you're stuck past security. A McD's in an airport? What a surprise! Of course, they've been in SeaTac airport for years. I want to say there used to be more than one? But now the only one is towards the front of the B Concourse. I wasn't in the mood to try something new from a strange airport restaurant so sometimes the tried and true just makes like easier. At first it was a little confusing as they have computer screens to place your order, but I also saw people placing an order the old fashion way, with a person ringing you up. I couldn't tell the people were waiting in line to order at the computer screen or if they were simply waiting for food. Eventually, a nice young lady at the counter motioned for the next person to come over so she could help them. When no one moved, I jumped at the opportunity. Did that really confuse people that much? I placed my order, got a number, then waited over by the side where I checked in to Yelp and snapped the picture below. My number was called, and away I went with my food and drink. Pretty typical for an overpriced McD's at an airport. So now it's 4 days later and I'm heading towards my return flight at 7am. I want breakfast - and where else can I do for a quick morning meal? McD's!!! About the same amount of people were waiting as the previous visit, and again, I wasn't sure who was waiting to order and who was waiting for food. Only this time, the computer screens were frozen. A random person would go up and touch the screen to see if anything wouldn't happen, and it didn't. I didn't even see someone taking orders the old fashion way! Are we really that connected to computers we just stand around when they go down and no nothing? That's pretty much what I saw. Since I had 2 hours to kill, I left to look elsewhere. This reopened recently and wow the service is excellent. They were friendly, helpful, well dressed and put together very well. The establishment as a whole was clean and professional. I'm very impressed! Whoever runs this McDonalds could teach some fancy restaurants how to hire, train, and run a business/restaurant. Obviously, McDonald's is McDonald's....so I am writing this solely based on service, speed, and functionality. I tend to order off the app at airports because the line can be INSANE in the morning. I do it this way to jump the line since I know it's gonna be nuts. At SeaTac, they were on point. Not only was the food ready as I walked to the gate, but the people were Hella friendly (asked where I was coming from, going, etc) and then made sure to tell me that they offered free refills. I was at the airport for a while, so knowing that was crazy clutch (especially if you know the amount of Diet Coke I drink). The line moved swiftly, and Ashlee, my server was friendly, fast and efficient - thank you for your happiness and smile. Are the costs higher? Yes, people...we are in an AIRPORT. Just in for a quick breakfast. I have no complaints except for one, and as a frequent traveler (100+ flights a year), this is a BIGGIE. Not one outlet worked in the entire place. You want more money to do your job? Then act like it and do your job right. Your job handing out food is not difficult. Your job to ensure my order is correct and, at minimum, warm is not that hard. Being friendly by at least saying "Hi" when I pull up to the window or "Thank you. Come again" when I leave is not that hard. I ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget with honey mustard sauce and a sprite. The nuggets where barely warm and they gave me honey. Who the hell eats their nuggets with honey? That's just gross. I could overlook the barely warm nuggets and the disgusting honey if there had been any kind of customer service. The guy at the first window was friendly enough but the woman at the 2nd window was just rude. And don't give me the whole "Be understanding. They're on the front line and under stress because of Covid-19". And? I'm a front line employee as well in a different field and still manage to be polite to my customers.
