spicy pork bulgogi takeout

This is an excellent small no frill Korean restaurant. I dined in solo once having beef bulgogi that was very good with the decent selection of traditional appetizers. Another time I ordered take out of spicy pork, same quality, appreciate that they packed all the regular appetizers. Service is fine, I saw Korean customers which is always a good sign. I look forward to more visits.

Reviewing again with photos. This business deserves boosting. Their banchan is the best. All the food is yummy.

Another delightful meal at Evergreen! We had just gotten happy hour and bites elsewhere but we needed something substantial and satisfying! We got to try the Naengmyeon for the first time and it was so so good! Light, flavorful, incredible flavor and very well balanced. Quick and efficient service, great prices, and seated immediately!

Date: April 12, 2025 We just finished taking Easter bunny photos when hubs was craving a bulgogi bowl. Yelped around and found this spot fairly close by. Located in a big plaza with a Korean market lays evergreen tucked into the back corner. The restaurant is very small with some tables outside. It seemed like only one ajumma was working as she was doing it all. We ordered a mackerel, and two cold noodle combos - one with galbi and one with bulgogi. Ajumma was so sweet and really loved seeing our kids. Brought us tongs and scissors to make sure we cut the food for the kids and always checked to make sure we were doing okay. All the food was average, imo, however the homey feel to it, gave it a 10/10 taste. It just felt like your Korean grandmother was cooking the meal for you. Tab was higher than expected, ringing out to 85$ for those three. But it was a great first experience. Thank you!

Good food and friendly service. I ordered the tofu stew and galbi combo, it's a bit pricey for lunch but will taste good. It's worth going back.

I will have to admit, the food here is fairly decent. The galbi was soft and had a good flavor. The reason why I'm not giving this a higher rating would be because the owner expects certain tip. For 2 lunch combo, it came out to be about $60. I tipped them $7 on the top of my head (I usually do the calculations on my phone, but today I just estimated). The owner called us back and said "that's all?" I have never had anyone stop me and make me tip them more. So, if you want decent Korean food and deal with an owner that is rude and expects you to tip to their likings, feel free to come here. Would not return again because the attitude from the owner was not worth decent Korean food. Galbi-3/5

Great scorched rice on the bottom! Delicious food. Not too much meat on the bibimbap though only complaint

ABC Tofu House is a legit, top-notch authentic Korean spot. My family and I essentially ordered the…read morewhole menu and everything was super delicious. Everything was fresh made and came out super timely. Of course, as a Korean spot, there was a substantial amount of banchan (side dishes) and they were refillable! My personal favorite is the fish cake; super delicate and perfect seasoning. Cucumber kimchi was also a hit! The overall menu is super expansive and has the capability of catering to those with different cravings. Aside from their impressive tofu soups and meat entrees, they have other entrees like cold noodles and kimchi fried rice. I personally got the spicy cold noodle and it was super refreshing. Perfect amount of spice and refreshing produce such as the radish and pear. Everyone running this place are super efficient and consistently ensure that the guests are enjoying and have everything they need. Always love the comfort of a Korean place as these aunts and grandmas genuinely care about what they're doing. The place is decently sized and is a great place to get together with friends, family, all of the above! Will come back soon!

The food came out at a decent rate too, not much wait. The food was great, all good quality and tasty stuff. The spicy beef tofu was perfect, it was super delicious and very satisfying. The grilled short ribs were very flavorful and well cooked too. Definitely loved coming here every time. Definitely recommended.

First time here, and it definitely won't be my last…read more The food was flavorful, freshly made, and hit the spot. My coworkers ordered the Chicken Gangjeong in both the Soy Garlic and Sweet & Spicy flavors. I only had a bite of each, but both were juicy and seemed to be made with dark meat chicken. The Soy Garlic was actually sweeter than the Sweet & Spicy, which caught me off guard, while the Sweet & Spicy had more of a mild heat than an overwhelming kick. I ordered the Grandma Tteokbokki at spice level 2 and added melted cheese and ramen. Those add-ons were absolutely worth it. The cheese made the sauce extra creamy, while the ramen soaked up all of the flavor and turned it into a hearty, comforting meal. Spice level 2 had a nice kick without overpowering the dish, making it easy to enjoy from start to finish. Overall, everything we tried was satisfying, and I'd happily come back to work my way through more of the menu. If you're ordering the tteokbokki, I definitely recommend adding the cheese and ramen--you won't regret it.

This is the best tteokbokki I've had since visiting Korea! We tried the gimmari, Rose Tteokbokki,…read moreJjajang Tteokbokki, and Grandma Tteokbokki. The Rose was really good, but it was a little too rich for me. I personally preferred the Grandma Tteokbokki. I also liked the larger tteok over the mini tteok because it was softer and chewier. Adding ramen and cheese is a must! The cashier was also really nice. Even though he was new, he was able to answer all of our questions and provided excellent service. The restaurant was super clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back the next time we make a trip to SoCal!
