Nice little breakfast cafe. Got a donut for the kids, baked, not fried which is nice. We also tried the breakfast burrito and a working man panini, both very tasty. The banana blue smoothie was tasty as well. We were able to dine in which was great. They have a little book shelf for kids which was very helpful with the kiddos. Really enjoyed this place and will be back to try other stuff.

A great cafe and bakery in adorable Kennett Square! I stopped in early on a Sunday--the first weekend they were open--and there was a steady flow of business. They handled it really well, like they'd been open for weeks! I had a cold brew and a croissant. They also had a good selection of juices and healthy snacks, like açaí bowls. The cold brew was delicious, and the croissant was heavenly. It was the right amount of sweet and perfectly crispy. I will be back. I hope they add some picnic tables or outside seating on the grassy area next to the restaurant. What a great addition to Kennett!

Came in for the first time for Mother's Day lunch and omg it was amazing. I've lived in the Kennett area since 2015 and have never realized that this great spot has been here since 2019. Their cold brew is unbeatable and their paninis are like no other! The staff is extremely friendly and kindhearted as well as super fast with getting food out. I will definitely be making this a regular spot for my friends and I this summer!

This is a cute spot for breakfast or brunch. We had a great time eating here. The seating is a bit limited, there are probably five tables inside and two picnic tables outside. Thankfully, we got there a bit after 10 on a Saturday and didn't have trouble getting a table outside although as mentioned, there are only two out there. There is a good spread of food and drink choices. I enjoyed my pancake platter (came with side of fruit - strawberries and blueberries - a protein, and two eggs, all for 10 bucks). The only drawback I saw apart from the limited seating is I felt like we had to ask for everything, from water to pancake syrup to napkins. There was one girl manning the counter and bringing out food and the aforementioned pancake syrup and napkins so I felt bad asking for things. I would have liked some ketchup with my eggs but as mentioned, I didn't want to ask too much since the one girl was doing a lot of the work. There's got to be a way to streamline the process so guests can access the water, condiments, cutlery, napkins etc they need. Maybe have those available somewhere inside? This place is only a 10-15 min drive from Longwood Gardens so it's a great place to grab a bite before going to the gardens.

Best yogurt you will ever have topped with strawberries, blueberries, granola and honey - oh that honey! I added walnuts but honestly, this alone would be a perfect start to any day. Avocado toast gets an upgrade with a modest schmear of cream cheese (I've got to try this at home!) and some everything bagel seasoning on top of the egg. Milo's featured a super light frittata/crepe of egg. And that Greek coffee! Super amusing and charming waiter. Great ambiance. We'll be back!

There are some touch-ups that are needed some of the cushions from the booths maybe fraying a little bit, but overall nice job with the interior design. Very well done. I started drinking the cacao banana smoothie and I added peanut butter which is a must-do, it is so good. I love the creamy feeling of it not too thin not too thick just right. The next thing that I ordered was the Greek chili style soup, unfortunately they kind of were slim on filling it up to the top it's just about 2/3 of the way filled up. They could have at least given me a little bit more. Especially for the price of it. I had some Rosemary and Olive chips with it, the chili was really good they added some onions feta cheese and cilantro which really is a game changer. Must have if you are a soup person, so good! Nice kick to it. Had the potatoes with feta...seems like I was going Feta crazy when ordering haha but the potatoes were delicious as well. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Great job chef! Well ...when I went to visit Athens I remember ordering a Gyro and this cafe tastes just like the one from Greece, I died and went to Greece for a second. Great place to visit! I gave a 4 star because of the soup, I think it should definitely be filled to the top especially if you're paying that much for it. Overall, great job Emis!

Cafe Emis - Recommend filling to the top, but this was a good soup so if you had it too you would probably be like...why isn't it filled up.

Two of us had the mushroom quiche, which was outstanding -- a perfect balance of egg and cream, with delicious, hearty mushrooms. The Chardonnay was wonderful, and judging by the wine case, they seem to have a thoughtfully curated selection from France. My partner arrived a bit later and ended up bringing home what may have been the best pizza either one of us has ever had. As if that weren't enough, we were back in the area again today and had our third straight meal here. I had the turkey baguette sandwich and, yes, another glass of the same delicious Chardonnay. My partner had the deviled eggs and a fresh mozzarella, tomato, and pesto sandwich. Everything was excellent, and we're so glad we found this place!

And they have pizza and BBQ on the weekends to take home. Think of it as a mini DiBruno's or Carlino's and you get the idea. Being lazy and hungry we decided to try the newly renovated cafe for a take out lunch last Saturday. My wife enjoyed a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich with apples that was pretty good. I decided to try the signature grilled rib eye steak sandwich. It's not like a steak sandwich but a big, sliced steak in a sandwich. I ordered it rare (of course) and it's served on a steak roll with lettuce, tomato, and basil mayo and a side of French fries. It was delicious and cooked perfectly and I would get it every time. At $19 it's not cheap (and it's messy to eat with stuff dripping and slipping everywhere) but it's like having an actual steak and a sandwich all in one. I would gladly eat this every time I go there. You can eat inside the cafe or they have a couple of (rusty) tables outside where you can nibble (and in my case dribble). We also took home a mini frozen Shepards pie (just ok) and some big type of big beans (pretty good) from the charcuterie. It's a great option for some meats, eats, and cheeses if you want to save yourself a trip to West Chester, Ardmore, or Philly.
