Everdry has been the best investment that we have ever made. We had a substantial water issue in our basement about 8 years ago. They fixed it and continue to stand by their work. They just recently replaced their sump pump for free and dug up an area that had settled a bit. This was all covered under warranty. read more

LIES, LIES, LIES. I SERIOUSLY REGRET USING THIS COMPANY. You will be charged a fortune for, at best a useless system and at worst, one that will exacerbate your problem and/or create a new one. The salesman who came to my house used scare tactics and lies to sell their solution. He assured me their system would eliminate any possibility of mold, any potential dry rot and all my yard drainage issues would be solved. As a newly single woman, he knew he could take advantage. Unfortunately, I believed all his lies and hired Everdry. They tell me for their solution to work all openings to my crawlspace needed to be sealed. They spent time in there addressing any openings and told me they finished that portion of the work. Then they finished the rest of the project and 5 months later, my crawlspace is growing mold. I called Everdry and when they came back out, the technician tells me the mold is due to the humidity coming in from the 5 foot section of my crawlspace that is still open to the outside. THEY NEGLECTED TO SEAL THIS ENTIRE SECTION during the enclosure phase, basically ensuring this outrageously expensive system ($25,000) had no chance of working. With this admission from him it is very clear that the mold issue, I now have, is due to their negligence. Fast forward a week and I've got 3 mold remediation quotes ranging from $8,000 - $14,000. With guidance from my general contractor Everdry appropriately enclosed the area, but I am still left with extremely high mold remediation expenses, the cost of buying and adding a dehumidifier and a musty, smelly, damp crawlspace. After reaching out them. Someone called me back stating that they needed my spouse to be present for the entire inspection. We found this response to be annoying and insulting. In my experience any company that approaches the customer in this manner tends to try to overcharge. This sales tactic is done to appeal to the general emotional feelings of a female versus the general logic of a male. My wife expects me and I intend to be the one to deal with these affairs especially since I am a licensed General Contractor. My wife has her own career and has no time sitting through foundation inspections. Either you are coming to do your inspection, provide your estimate and do your work or your not! While I was at work some lady named Nori stopped over and offered an inspection of our new house that we purchased this year. This lady was going door to door asking neighbors if they would like their basement inspected. Two days later one of their inspectors did come over and would not inspect until I came home from work. This guy named Rick did a brief inspection of our house outside in the pitch dark and when he came into our basement to look at our crawl space Rick DID NOT EVEN have a SCREWDRIVER or DRILL and asked for mine. Seriously? What inspector does not carry their own tools? The house we purchased has two sump pumps and a French drain that goes around the entire crawl space. The previous owners spent over $15,000 having this put in and the inspector says that it looks low-grade and that he could not warranty it and would have to re-do it. The cost would only be $17,268. Seriously? But don't worry, he said he would talk to his boss and get a few hundred dollars taken off. The funny thing is when the guy was doing the inspection of our crawl space he put on his knee pads, yet never stepped one foot inside of it. He just turned on his flash light. How do you quote $17,268 on basement work but really never truly inspect it? That is like a car mechanic who looks at your car without opening the hood and tells you that it needs a new engine, even though it might be a new one. I'm one year into falling for one of their high pressure sales "complete systems" and my hardwood floors have been completely ruined due to ongoing water in the basement and crawlspace. I'm a first time home owner who got completely suckered by their ridiculous sales tactics. They oversell and under-perform. They will be coming out for the fifth time to fix the sump pump system which has failed twice within the first couple of months. Their "easy breathe" systems are a glorified fan they charge a thousand dollars for that sucks air from inside to outside but does nothing for filtration or humidity. They install them right after signing a contract to lock you in to the job before you can get a second opinion. Sure they come out and do the work, but once they've don't the initial work, that's all they are gonna do for you, problem fixed or not. They quoted me over $16,000 to fix the moisture problems in my basement, and like a schmuck, I signed the paperwork. After the work was done, the forman that led the crew doing the work told me to leave the dehumidifier off for about 2 weeks. Well during that two weeks, mold infested my basement. They had someone come out after that, they said the Forman shouldn't have said that, but it's on them so they said they would help me out again, free of charge. They didn't follow through. WARNING! PREDATORY LENDING TRAP. These folks will try to STEAL YOUR HOUSE with a high interest second mortgage disguised as a loan! We chose Everdry to do our waterproofing for our basement. The job they did was very expensive, but worked. Although they did far less work than they said needed to be done, we were told the high cost of the job was because of their incredible guarantee. They have come out twice since then, to fix things that were not done right or at all since then. They refuse to service the dehumidifier they installed or replace the filters, which is something they said was included in the price. Most importantly, BEWARE OF THEIR PREDATORY CREDIT SCHEME. We used their recommended financing, which had a VERY HIGH INTEREST rate instead of taking out a line of credit on our house. Big mistake. Recently, when we went to refinance our house, our lender asked about our other mortgage. Yep, Everdry's financial partners had somehow listed our HOUSE as collateral for a $14,000 loan with sky high interest rate, and provisions allowing them to foreclose on our house if we so much as missed a few payments. This was after the Everydry "salesman" encouraged us to use their financing instead of going to our bank so they could get started right away "because we have so many customers, if you don't sign up right now, we won't be able to stop your basement from leaking for another year" So, to be more concise - Everdry will try to hustle you into a hidden second mortgage with draconian terms and very high interest with high pressure sales tactics for a service I believe is barely adequate, and they do not service the equipment they install no matter how much you remind them. We are taking out financing to pay off these vampires before a slip up costs us our nearly paid off house. We are very happy with the work that Everdry did to help us with our water intrusion issue in the basement. They installed a system that addressed the problem outside of the house as well as inside the basement. Warranty renewal is fair, cost-effective, and helps to alleviate worry if something requires fixing/adjusting. When Everdry installed our system a few years ago, we were happy with the company's professionalism and willingness to take care of some extra unforeseen problems. These people do not want your business. Called and had to answer long list of questions read from a script. Was told BOTH homeowners had to be present at the appointment and that I had to send them pictures. Then they would call me right back. I sent the pictures and they never called. Like an idiot, I called them back and they set an appointment for Saturday 2/8/20 at 2:00. At 2:30 I called them and was put on hold. I called back at the dimwit I spoke with said 'Paisley' the scheduler should have sent a supervisor to our 2:00 appointment, but since none was available, nobody showed up and nobody called us. Thank God we did not let this group of knuckle draggers actually work on our home. Happy we only lost part of our Saturday instead of the integrity of our foundation. read more

I'll give you the decent stuff first: -they came back twice after the initial install of their system to try to fix water issues we were still having, and did not charge us for these repairs (ie- they honored their contract) -the workers who have come have been nice and worked hard But here's the bad stuff -so far they've had to come back twice to fix water issues which their initial install was supposed to handle. This is especially bad since we can't make our basement livable (putting down flooring, fixing walls, etc) until we know there are no more water issues so we've been without the use of 1/4 of our house for over half a year now and a good chunk of the rest of the house has the basement stuff crowded into it. This has made living difficult- especially with sheltering in place and virtual school! -getting them to come is extremely difficult. Numerous times they've scheduled a time only to cancel last minute. And if having to adjust your family's schedules to accommodate their appointment only to have to adjust again last minute on multiple occasions isn't bad enough, each time it's weeks or even months before they have an opening on their calendar. What should have taken two or three weeks max has taken over six months -their system is extremely expensive- tens of thousands of dollars! read more

1. Booklet stated there would be a filtration system during the work to minimize concrete dust. Instead, our fire alarm was going off for hours and our basement is covered in dust. It has been very challenging to clean and get our house back in order. 2. We were told that things would be taken down and put back up after. Instead, a built in work bench appears to have been taken down with force and won't be able to be reinstalled easily. New parts will be needed. 3. The pipe leading out of the house from our garage was crooked. When tested by the person with Everdry that follows up on our experience, it was leaking. Had to be replaced and new concrete put in. Curious if the new one will leak or not because there is still a bend in it. 4. It was my understanding that someone one come out a couple of weeks before to do an initial walkthrough to plan out exactly what they would do. This wasn't formally set up, so I could have been mistaken. On the morning of the scheduled work, two foremen and crew came to do a quick walkthrough and came across as being in a rush to get started with little patience for helping us feel comfortable with the details. 5. Three months after installation, we found water in our walls again. It took four days to get someone on the phone and over a week before they can come out to look at it. You know, I hate to just pile it on, but... this company is terrible. We recently moved into a new house in the area which has an unfinished basement. It has had some work done before and has a sump pump, and it's also an older house. When we ran into Everdry at a home show, it seemed like a reasonable idea to have them come by, especially since they offered a free inspection. My first clue that it was a bad idea was when they insisted both homeowners (my wife and I) both be home. There is no real reason why this should be the case unless it's something about their sales pitch trying to prey on concerns of one individual. The day of the inspection, the inspector, shows up on time and begins to do the inspection. This is when it starts to feel like a bad date. He's poking around in our basement, taking pictures and whatever, and then, I swear, he started to NEG our house. Like seriously, pick up artist level BS. "Someone was clearly trying to fix up this basement but they did a terrible job. None of this is right." "Why would you even do this at all if you weren't going to do it the way it should be done?" "Are you using the humidifier a lot? That's really bad for the basement. You shouldn't be using a humidifier." "There is some black mold here. We can send it off to the CDC for testing to see if it's toxic if you want." Uh, ok. I should tell you that we have an nice house in a nice area, and the basement is among the nicest I've seen. We do perhaps need some plastic replaced and a few windows changed out. The guy was a mess too. He kept calling himself a "structural engineer", even using the term "professional engineer", even though I can find no evidence that he is licensed as an engineer in Georgia. Once we got upstairs, we sat at my dining room table and he launched into his pitch, which was the biggest red flag of all. All he did was look at a table which had the measurements of our basement to give us a price for installing an internal drainage system (incidentally, that is what we already have, which he was negging) and what is essentially a huge humidifier. $20,000. Shouldn't this quote account for the work that has already been done down there, we asked? "Well, we wouldn't really warranty someone else's work, so no." Ok, so you neg our house, then give us a quote for work the amount of a midsize car that doesn't account for the existing condition of the basement. Yeah, ok, we're not interested. To add insult to injury, I get a call a few days later from one of their office people. "Our manager has reviewed your estimate and we've found some changes, we think we can really get you a better price." Uh, no thanks. This is a high pressure sales company that is attempting to prey on the fears of people having water and mold in their basement, then offering a one size fits all and extremely expensive solution to a problem that doesn't exist. So i have gotten quotes from 3 of their competitors in the time I been waiting for them to get to my house. And the day they were coming (today) I just happened to get called out on an emergency for my job this morning. So estimator shows up and my wife calls me and says guy wont do the estimate without me there. My wife called me and put me on speakerphone and the salesman was talking in circles like some sort of high pressure sales tactic where both spouses have to be home so they can pressure you with a sale. I said, "can you just look at the basement and tell me what it will cost???" He said, "No I can not". Think how stupid that is. The guy takes the time to drive out there and then says he wont go in the basement because both spouses are not home. What total BS. Their ulterior motive isnt a good one and I know a scam when I see one. Stay far away. If a Rep from Everydry reads this......"Thanks for wasting 5 weeks of my time". I'm a civil engineer and a house flipper myself who deals with people in this industry regularly, almost on a monthly basis if not weekly. I came across this company on Thumbtack for a moisturized crawl space I'm currently dealing with. Called them 2.5 weeks ago and they scheduled me an appointment to send out their technician for inspecting and providing me with an estimate. Someone even called me yesterday confirming that I'll be presented today at the time of appointment since "it's considered to be a liability" for them to be at the property w/o the owner being presented. So, I showed up today right on time for the appointment; after waiting several minutes and not seeing anyone from Everdry Basement Waterproofing I called the company to see why they didn't send a technician per appointment I've scheduled 2.5 weeks ago!! Eventually after waiting on the line and being transferred couple times, someone grabbed my call and apologized, simply saying "our technician was tied up with the previous job and couldn't make it to my appointment"!! As simply as that! When I mentioned that I do not live here and it took me 40 min to drive all the way down to this property and you all just wasted my time, she simply said she can schedule me another appointment for tomorrow or for later today at 6 or 7 pm (my original appointment was at 4:30 pm) which I refused to accept and mentioned that I need to talk with a manager. Long story short, she transferred me to the GM and he assured me that it's not gonna happen again! I WILL NOT give them my business as I found them very unprofessional, and irresponsible regarding my time as today I just wasted almost two hours of my time going back and forth to my property w/o getting any results just because "their technician was tied up with the previous job and couldn't make it to my appointment" read more

We asked them to come out to give us a estimate to fix our basement. Some guy came to our house for the estimate. He sits down with us to discuss what Ever Dry offers. I make it clear we are only in the estimate getting stage. They were the first estimate we were getting. The guy never even went to the basement to look at what needed fixing. He never looked anywhere around the outside of the house either. He keeps talking about what Ever Dry offers. I said So what about my estimate. He quotes me a price of 15,000 to 25,000$. That was after not looking at anything. We scratched Ever Dry off our list of possible contractors to do the work. To find out later on. The people Ever Dry sends out aren't even foundation specialists. They are sales people to sell the product. They know nothing about foundations. read more

Had a problem in the basement, called about having them come out to check it out. I'm 68 years old, lived in my house over 40 years and have no mortage, yet they couldn't come unless everyone on the deed was present when they came to do the estimate. My mother in law, who's 88, has dimensia, and lives in an assisted living place in another state could not come for the estimate, therefore they couldn't come out to check it out. Anyway, turned out to be a minor problem and had a real company fix it for about $300. I'm sure Everdry would have been a lot more, they did check out one of our rental properties several years ago and wanted $28,000 to fix the problem, our handyman fixed it for about $400. High pressure for sure but I don't fall for that stuff. read more

Their lifetime, tranferrible warranty is also much appreciated and gives us a sense of security for any issues that may arise. A gentleman went to my parents house to give an estimate and do an inspection and what an embarrassment to this company. My father has early onset dementia and this FOOL says "he's a little...." and then circles his head with his finger indicating my father is crazy. YOU FOOL!!! YOU FOOL!!!! In speaking with the owner, they were shocked and horrified that someone, let alone someone they employed, would be so insensitive. I do not recommend Everdry Waterproofing! We hired them to waterproof our basement, and it has seeped water 5-7 times, damaging the floor and baseboards inside. Initially they added 3 drains on 3 walls inside the basement. The Everdry team added a fourth drain to connect to the other 3 last year, and the leaking has stopped. However, they would not repair any of the damage done to our flooring or baseboards. We now have black mold! We have had to hire a lawyer to try to get money to repair the damage that was caused by a faulty installation. read more

The crew did come the day before to prep for the coming days of work, but they left more expense for me to deal with. The project itself is thousands of dollars and now that i have to put another set of floors in the basement as they jacked up for the floors that more money coming out of my pocket. I was trying to see if i can salvage the floors, but it appeared that their JACK fell fue to a GASH on the floor near where they were jacking the floors. They left cement in my grass and back patio. And i notice leaving my subdivision. A BIG chuck of cement that was leftovers, thrown in the bushes. Needless to say they did a poor job in cleaning up their work after my project. Last thing i notice is the pipe they put through my walls in basement was not fitted to the hole, so ONCE AGAIN another expense, to cover the gap. AGAIN, this project is not cheap and have to come out of pocket on additional expense is stressful as it is, and as i just lost my job, things couldn't come any worse than this.. I had this company come out to inspect my property and provide a quote. It was very clear their business model is to up-sell. Obviously I understand they are a company and are out to make money. However, when the inspector went to his car to "put together a quote," what he was actually doing was putting together a strange PowerPoint presentation designed to instill fear in a customer. They didn't listen to my concerns and instead tried to convince me that what I need is (of course) the most expensive and comprehensive plan. I own my house. I researched a TON. I reached out to other waterproofing companies. Did y'all really think you were going to come in and "mansplain" to me what is wrong with my basement. I happened to have a friend with me that night as I didn't want to be alone in my house with 2 strangers and the inspector solely spoke to him - including calling him "Mr. (my last name)". When he concluded his spiel with a quote of $18k, he told me that he could knock off $2k if I signed a contract tonight. I politely asked him to leave. Then, for the next week, this company called me at least 4 times A DAY to try and schedule an appointment??? They finally emailed me and copied the many managers they have lamenting they "keep trying to schedule an appointment to give me a quote" so I responded they ALREADY DID. With egg on their face, they apologized. They started with the excessive calls again this week to come back out and see if they could lower their price. I asked them to remove my number as I have zero intentions of doing business with their shoddy company. I will say, aside from the customer service nightmare, a coworker actually bought their show and had Everdry waterproof their basement. After reading some other reviews and my own personal experience, I would suggest avoiding this company. Guy was going door to door offering a few inspection. I agreed and set up an appointment for noon on a Friday Even talked to a guy on the phone to verify the information and appointment time. Friday comes and goes and not a peep from anyone. They also insisted that my mother be there for the inspection since the house is in her name. I assured them that I was the decision maker and that she lived over an hour away. They said she had to be there. I said ok. Thankfully, mom didn't waste her time coming because they never showed up. I am sure there are plenty of other outfits out there that don't have to go door to door to get new customers because their work speaks for itself. Called this company to do a free estimate for a potential water issue in my crawlspace. Guy shows up and goes into straight sales mode without even knowing what problem I had and insisted that my wife be there too. He wouldn't proceed unless she was there and I explained in this situation that she didn't need to be there since I was getting several quotes and wouldn't be making a decision until after all quotes came in. I don't need to be sold a "system" unless I need it. I should have known when they told me it would take an hour and a half to give me a simple estimate.
