Caveat Emptor: I am a pretty nerdy guy who does not know all the ins and outs of cars. Having said that, I think this place is very professional. I met the insurance rep Dan and Sergio who were both very professional. I had grazed my car while taking a sharp turn and this happened a few months back. Now the car looks as good as new. I did not have to wait too long or anything like that while dropping my car. In fact, the next day I had to travel outside state for work. They were gracious enough to hold the car when I came back to town 2 weeks later. Right after dropping the car, I also realized that I had left my GPS and some stuff in the car. Well.. it was all there when I picked it up. They also managed to somehow put the inside of my car back in shape (translation - it was not the cleanest interior). I am VERY happy for the service I received. By the way, I drive a Nissan and while picking up the car I realized that there were some smudge and (what looked like) scratches on the right side passenger mirror. These guys helped me with clean and polish there, on the spot ! No charge. This was my first time at a body shop, and if there is better service possible, then I am not aware of it. I recently took my car to Euro Collision on S. Wabash Ave. for a non-collision type issue with my car. I recently moved to Chicago from Northern Virginia and I live right around the corner from the place. Since I haven't established any relationships with any auto service providers yet, I thought I'd give it a shot to see if they could help me. To my surprise, they could and did! From the moment I walked in the place I was greeted with a warm, friendy, and helpful attitude. I spoke to Raul C. who was honest in giving me "best case" and "worst case" scenarios and assured me that he and his team would shoot for "best case." Had crap-marks on my front bumper(not certain how) and a long scratch on the passages door from a fallen sharp object. I visited 4 establishment for a quote in the south loop & Pilsen neighborhood( two detail/hand car wash and two auto body shops). The quotes ranged from 150-$75 (some suggested I may have to leave the car the entire day). Spontaneously I decided to call Euro Collision for a quote. I was able to get an appointment within the hour, a technician examined the damage, and shared the work was minor and no charge was necessary. Within 10-15mins, my car was returned and the damage was repaired. I have to admit, I've always been suspicious of the auto body industry but Euro Collision proved me wrong. I now can claim I know 1 HONEST Auto Body Shop in the city. I will certainly be going back if I need any auto body in the future and referring family and friends. read more

So my car was hit while I was parked, luckily the driver who hit me was kind enough to leave his information and insurance, his insurance(geiko) sent me to Euro collision. Not only do they have geico staff right on site they also have enterprise right there so it was a one stop shop! All the staff at euro collision were very professional and excellent! One in particular John, went over everything they were gonna do for me and broke it down so it was easy to understand especially for someone who knows nothing about cars! He was super friendly, very professional and he even came through on his promise of getting it done faster for me, since I need my truck for work. I brought in my car to get a quote for some body work. Everything was smooth and I got a quote in under 15 minutes. Since everything looked fair, I decided to drop my car at the store (Nick was my contact). This was Saturday and I was told that my car will be ready by Thursday. Between Saturday and Thursday, Nick called me twice, on Monday evening and then on Thursday morning for a quick 1 minute update about what's going on with the car. He informed me on Thursday that the car is ready for pickup. The job was perfect and car is as good as new. No complaints at all. I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Euro Collision! Their customer service and quality of work was second to none! I had a front end accident in my BMW X1, and you would never know it! They maintained an open line of communication with me throughout the repair process... even better than my Insurance Company!! I knew everything that was happening every step of the way, and they didn't cut corners on their work. I even had my service engine light come on a few days after I picked up my car. I took it into them, and even though the issue was a recall part that had nothing to do with the accident repair they took my car into the dealership and made sure it was taken care of themselves AND put me in rental for a couple days !!!! I worked with Mariana to get some body damage fixed on our BMW. This place seems to work like a well oiled machine. Estimate took only a few minutes. Made an appointment a couple weeks out, parts were ordered in advance so it was actually ready faster than she originally said. Car was super clean when we picked it up. The only issue was that we had to come back because there were several dash lights on that were likely due to the battery having been disconnected. Wish they would have checked that before we left but I'm assuming it will get resolved (I'm here now). Would come back here. Also we got 3 estimates and this was the least expensive one. read more

I have had to use Euro Auto Collision twice due to car accidents. Neither accident was my fault, so I was very frustrated that my new car was damaged, and even more frustrated that I then had to deal with insurance, rental cars, and everything else that comes along with getting into an accident. Euro auto collision is excellent in repairing vehicles to look just like they were brand new! They kept me updated with the progress toward repairs and were so polite every time I interacted with them. They are extremely skilled in their ability to repair vehicles, no matter how badly it may have been damaged. If you are looking for a trusted work with absolute no hidden reasons to charge you an arm and a leg to get your car out of the shop after the work is done LOOK NO MORE!!! The receptionist are more then friendly and helpful in every way. I had an insurance claim; and for me it was a one stop shop. I was offered shuttle to my rental and was offered to leave my rental at the body shop at absolute no inconvenience. I own a rather hard color to match vehicle and even to my picky eye, the work done is as good if not better then the original condition. As expected, when ever any of the interior panels are removed there was some added rattle noise in the cabin, but all I had to do is take it back and it was fixed before I finished my coffee (at absolute no charge). This is my second time visiting them. My first visit was with an Euro-Machine and this time around I brought in my Domestic-Beast, I could not be happier with the results. They even detailed my car, it literally looked shinier then when I drove it off the lot. One thing that needs to be noted is that the "insurance adjuster" on board with Euro Collision is not their employee. Thus for any claim further then what you have been adjusted, I STRONGLY recommend that you make sure Euro-Collision is aware of it. Simply because they can make sure it gets added to your claim or they can work something out for you. My insurance adjuster was very "visual" and was not concern about the rattle and "check engine" etc lights on my dash board. A quick little talk with the shop manager got it all included (since it did originated from the accident) to my claim payoff. This is the shop that you can refer as "go to my place, they will take care of it" !!! Dont be afraid to tell them any of your concerns. Unlike the most (the rest) body shops, I felt as they were making sure I was happy and not trying to look good for the insurance agency's claim total. read more

They will argue with you about the damage to your vehicle and say it is not related to an accident even when it is. In what way is it acceptable to call a customer a liar? If you have an insurance claim go anywhere but here. Also as far as the mechanical issues caused in a crash their knowledge was limited at best. read more

Truly some of the best customer service I've received!!!! I went in for minor repairs from a hit-and-run accident on a Monday afternoon. They said the repairs would take around a week. I asked if they could expedite the repairs and they did. One of the repairmen gave me a car Wednesday that week saying that my car was ready to be picked up. I was very satisfied and my car looked brand new when I picked it up. The office staff were very professional and accommodating throughout the process. During the two-day turnaround they sent me contact updates via text and email. Where do I even begin with them? I took my car to them for hail damage last year because my insurance co. referred me here. I decided to give this place a try because based on the good reviews on Yelp (it was 4 1/2 stars then). I took my car here for an estimate and the shop was clean and everyone here seemed friendly. My estimator was very nice as well and gave me a complete summary of parts and labor to be done. They were able to accommodate my request about certain aftermarket parts I wanted. No complaints yet. Amanda was very nice and explained to me how everything was going to work. She gave me the date to drop off my car and told me it would take about 2 weeks to fix, which I am definitely fine with that considering how much of my car needed to be worked on. The day comes and I dropped off my car. Again, Amanda assured me it will take about 2 weeks to finish everything. I ordered an aftermarket hood and dropped it off to them about a week later and Amanda told me my car is coming along great, the PDR guy fixed all the dents already and they just needed to replace the hood and roof still. She again assured me that my car will still be completed during the promised time I was originally given. However, one week passed from when I dropped off my hood (2 weeks total) and I still have not received a call. It was on a Saturday, so I decided to wait a few more days and I called them on Monday. Everything went downhill from here because it was basically not ready and I asked them to please update me on my car. Days turned into weeks and I still didn't get any phone calls. I called some more and got more crap. Finally after almost 2 months, my car was ready. I went to pick up my car the next day because Amanda told me it will be ready at 1pm on Saturday. I had to call them once again on Saturday to make sure it was ready for pickup because they again didn't call me. Amanda told me everything is done and that I can go pick it up. I went there and everything seemed good and I left. However, when I got back home I noticed my front bumper was loose and the passenger side was hanging off. I took it back to them and they fixed it. I then go home and a few days later my driver side part of the bumper became loose and I decided to just fix it myself. I also noticed my driver side fender, the paint had a 2 inch long "burned" on the fresh paint, which is probably from buffering it too long on that spot. I begin to worry that a body shop that had my car for almost 2 months can't even do a simple task of putting my front bumper back properly; yet alone buffer without burning the paint. I know they offer a lifetime guarantee on their work, but I am really hesitant about bringing it back to them. Horrible customer service and don't expect them to ever call and update you. This place boasts professionalism above all else, but somehow they miss the simple things like communication. I had a pretty frustrating experience here. Someone smashed my driver side window and I needed to replace the glass. I decided to go through my insurance company's suggestion, thinking that I might get charged a little more but it would be a hassle-free experience. WRONG. First, my car was towed to the shop. I called the next day to confirm that they received my car. That's when they told me that I had to sign paperwork before anyone could work on the car. No one told me that but the polite receptionist said she would send me the forms and I could email them back. I never got the forms so just decided to show up and sign in person. Not sure if anyone would have contacted me to let me know about the paperwork or if I'd end up waiting thinking my car was being serviced when it wasn't. In the walk through I noted that in addition to the glass, my hubcaps were missing and he wrote it on the paperwork. I also gave him the number I wanted to be reached at. Then I was told that the car would be done in a day. It was a holiday weekend and I dropped the car off on a Saturday, so I patiently waited until Tuesday. I called and was told the car would be done that day. No one called me by the end of the day so I waited until midday Wednesday. No call, no update still. I finally called Wednesday evening and was told the car would be done by Thursday, not sure of the time. I was assured someone would call me. Thursday, I did receive a call towards at the end of the day, so I rushed to pick up the car. Except that my car was at their express location and I wasn't told that. The place was down the street-about a 1/2 mile away- but I took an Uber there and the receptionist apologized and told me I had to walk down the street. Why couldn't someone have just told me which location to go to? The window was fixed; they also made a bunch of smaller repairs that they said were necessary.. But there were no hubcaps on the car. They said they had no knowledge of the car needing hubcaps. I was pretty frustrated- I waited far longer than the 1 day estimate I was told and the car wasn't completely serviced. But I decided to stick with them while they ordered hubcaps for me. It wasn't even easy for me to get them to order the hubcaps. I had to call the insurance adjuster on site a couple of times before finally reaching him. Then the order was placed. I was told I would get a phone call when the hubcaps arrived. I waited nearly a week and received a phone call that I could come get the hubcaps. I called back the next day to say I could make it on Saturday. The person on the phone was snarky, telling me I needed to come get the hubcaps because he didn't want them sitting there for like a month. Um what? You called me yesterday, and I called you the next day to tell you I could make it on the weekend. He told me I was supposed to have received a call days ago. So your employee calls me days after my hubcaps arrive, and you snap at me for waiting too long to get them? What? He did apologize. But it was irritating to know that the hubcaps were sitting there for a few days and I didn't know about it. Anyway, 2 weeks after my car was vandalized everything was completely done to my liking. As others have said, the staff here is mostly polite and professional and the place is nice. But 2 weeks to get my glass fixed and hubcaps replaced, and me calling/hunting people down instead of being called with status updates about my car- this was just an unnecessarily frustrating experience for me. I paid a hefty amount knowing I could get the work done cheaper, but I was willing because I would have peace of mind and a smooth experience. Was wrong about that. read more
