Derrick showed up on time and fully equipped to get to work, and he had my three central AC units (poorly installed by someone else) up and running in record time, at a fair price, despite it being the first hot spell of the summer season. When I called to make the appointment yesterday, the lady who answered the phone told me that they could show up today. What really surprised me was that the first hour cost $350, and a subsequent hours cost only $300 an hour. When the two guys showed up at 9:30 AM, I told them that I was interested in a check of the coolant levels in both of our yards. I followed the guys downstairs to open up one of our two units, and it took both of them just over 20 minutes to open up a side panel while using a 7 inch straight drill bit. Based on that pretty unimpressive performance, I told them not to check the coils on the second unit, but rather told them that again I wanted the coolant levels checked. One of the guys told me that he refused to put the coolant in, that was required, because he did not physically inspect the coils of the second unit. He lobbied for the two of them to open the second unit. I asked them to leave. If you're gonna charge $350 an hour, you need to be pretty amazing at what you do. I paid $390 for 2 guys to clean one set of coils and put in a filter that I provided; no 'Freon.' They were anything but helpful and I won't use Iceberg again.

We just wanted our issue resolved and we needed our heat. After reaching out to lighthouse I was able to secure an appointment that same day. They didn't charge me extra while everyone else was trying to add a surcharge for emergency service. All in all my the issue had to do with a low voltage problem. I was really glad we finally had heat and the unit has been working fine for 2 weeks now. Thanks for honest and amazing service.

However, now two units are not functioning properly and they do not respond to messages to set up a service call. Concerned that they do not seem to stand by their work. They promptly sent the estimate that evening! We set up our date a couple weeks later and they never changed or cancelled our appt (which I thought was amazing!) Johnathan arrive promptly at the time he said and the guys started the install. The 2 men who did the install were great! I think they actually work for Ice age and not contracted out. The 2 guys who did the repair did a very nice job and everything looks great. My only complaint would be the plumber who came to cap the gas, I feel as though there should be more communication with the client and vendors and more explanation on exactly what needs to happen. The plumber did not turn our gas back on so now we are having to spend additional money to have the gas put back on for our tenant. We called him, texted him and sent email to Ice Age and no help yet! Overall I would recommend ice age,but I would be hesitant to trust the contracted plumber they use. I have this plumbers info if anyone wants to reach out to me to check if it's the same company ice age is planning on using for your future job. I also have lots of before and after pics of the nice work that was done.
