I have had 3 different stylists do my hair - both color and cut from this salon over the past 3 or so years I have been in this area - and I'm definitely not one to commit to a stylist usually. I was religiously going to a curly hair cut specialist in Sunnyvale (yes I'm local so it is a long drive) for years and after going through 2 stylists with the salon, I had the trust to try another stylist as far as cuts since honestly the salon has never done me wrong. In short, I recommend Bo for color and I have had one cut with Danielle I liked! In long... I will list my different experiences since I have been there awhile - I believe my first stylist I had was named Lily? She works at Ash and Willow in Salinas now but she was great - I am a vivids/non-natural hair color type of person - with dark dark brown Hispanic/Asian hair and I remember my first appointment I just told her my struggles of wanting low maintenance but drama - I was blonde at the time via my own dye job and she gave me a lovely two chunky white statement pieces that I still to this day miss the placement of - it was so good and perfect for the way I always part my hair. The first session she also didn't get my pieces as light as she would have liked and scheduled me for a second appointment without much fuss, very kind of her. I definitely changed my hair to 3 different colors after (red, pink and purple) but then came back to the place and color she had for a year after - which for me is a while. I then made the horrible mistake to go to a different stylist outside of this salon - she had made me a good blonde previously but when she was attempting to change my hair to a plain balayage from previous bleach jobs, she put permanent color in my hair without telling me and I ended up hating the look and bleaching my hair with 40 volume 3 times and two toning sessions in one day. My hair was not in a good state, needless to say. I called Euphoria and they were very empathetic and got me a consultation at least within a week or so - I believe that is when I met Bo - July 2024 ish. Bo was/is great! She has always been very direct and detailed in telling me what she thinks about doing to my hair, what's being put on it etc - I would say I'm a fair relaxed client (outside of scheduling) but given I like to change my hair, it's always good to know what's happening. She gave me a haircut during the consult and got my fried orange hair to a purple/black look. I will insert a refresh look and a fade. I am still to this day growing out the hair that I bleached so horribly but she's been keeping my purple and brown toner ever since. I recently was interested in doing some fun colors in my back section and I think it looks great. Anyone that can lift my type of hair, I think is a skilled colorist. Based on her, I decided to try Danielle, another stylist for a curly cut and have no regrets at all - she did a tiny curtain bang for me and get my wavy hair a cut both for blowouts and curly styling. I can't think of a time a stylist here has wronged me personally. I will say they book fast so I book really in advanced. As for vibes, as a 30 year old woman, fairly modern music - I do feel more on the younger side of their clients though it might just be the times I have my appointments (weekday afternoons) - other clients are more like moms or older folks from Carmel. Never had a bad experience with them either though, just a warning if you care about that kind of thing. read more

I've been here twice now and honestly I'm really disappointed with my cut. It's very uneven and for the price of their cuts you would expect it to look like a professional did it. Beautiful salon... Very clean and airy. My stylist took her time explaining everything and gave me a cut I absolutely love. I had my 1st appointment with Kaitlin as a new client. She is wonderful! She brightened up My red color and introduced me to some new products and showed me how to use them. Edit: The owner's response below should tell you all you need to know about her PETTY, passive aggressive attitude and refusal to acknowledge the irreparable damage her stylist did to my hair. Please note how she continues to gloss over photo evidence of the cut. "Best of luck" to you if you end up with an unfixable situation like mine by going to this salon and dealing with their high school attitude owner. I added a bonus photo of the back since Victoria wants to double down. You be the judge on whether Angie had the skills to do my hair. My stylist was Angie. This isn't an attack on her character or conduct. She was kind and calm. This is about the cut and the owner, Victoria. I asked Angie for a layered haircut. I provided several reference photos. At the end she showed me the cut and said she opted not to do shelved layers but gave me pocket layers instead for my hair texture. It was nothing at all like the photos and not what I asked for. She changed course without consulting or asking me. I went to the bathroom and saw there was a chunk of missing hair next to my face visible even with my hair curled. She attempted to make corrections and then she tried convincing me it looked off because my hair was curled and then switched to saying it was because my hair is thinner on my temple on that side of my head. 15 minutes prior, she told me I have soooo much hair. What? She opted not to charge me for the service. It was nice of her to take the initiative on that. She asked me to contact her the next day if I found anything wrong. I had no choice but to go home and deal with it. I straightened my hair and found that yes, there's a hole of missing hair directly next to my face. I called and asked to speak to the owner, Victoria. Victoria proceeded to defend Angie and touted all her experience in cutting hair. She essentially said "what do you want me to do about it" in more polite wording. I was venting to her about my experience and her response was that most people call and have an idea of how they want her (Victoria) to fix it which felt dismissive. I told her I'm not a stylist so I don't know and it's not like she can put the hair back on my head. I called because I wanted her to give me options. To put it lightly, I don't appreciate the way Victoria handled it. I have every right to be upset. I don't care about other people's experience with Angie, I care about mine. I'll live, it's not the end of the world, but Victoria could learn a lot from Angie on how to empathize and speak to people when they are unhappy. I understand that every stylist is an independent contractor but they are a direct representation of you and your business. You can't vigorously defend Angie as one of YOUR stylists and then distance yourself from the situation by saying you're not her boss and that the only option you can offer is letting the same stylist who botched my haircut go back and fix it. If Angie isn't your employee, why are you defending her up and down for botching my hair? If you can't do anything to make it right (you can't "fix" a missing chunk of hair), you can at least display empathy and take some accountability instead of hitting me with the "sorry you feel that way" and trying to gaslight me and act like you don't see a difference between the right and left sides of my hair in photos. read more

I requested a Friday the 13th tattoo from Abby through the online reservation system. While it took a minute to get situated, the waiting accommodations were very comfortable and the wait was acknowledged and made up for. The entire place is beautiful. When I got to the back I had requested a design that was not already on the flash sheet and Abby not only drew one, but TWO, new designs for me. She was friendly and the space was calm and clean. I've been getting DMK enzyme treatments from her and my skin is gorgeous. I get compliments on it all the time. I needed to get in for a hair cut before my wedding and the team helped to coordinate a last minute visit. The downstairs is bright, airy and chill for hair; up-stiars is very relaxed with soft light, which is perfect for facials. I got a facial somewhere else which was not as detailed-more just a facial and did not do enough to open up my pores. After I got my first facial from Christine, my partner kept asking if I was wearing new makeup, but it was just my glowing skin. Was recommended to this salon by my husbands barber. Called to make an appt for a cut. The stylist I wanted (my hair is down to my butt) it says that particular stylist does long layers. When I called "that stylist doesn't do cuts without color, I can schedule you with someone who does just cuts" I said "ok what is available for this Saturday?"
