I went here on my birthday for a massage with one of my best friends. I had not been here since it was a different spa probably 15 years ago. It's changed quite a bit over the years. Here are some of the good and could be better Points: Good! - discount for locals! - nice sauna and steam room - facilities are very nice and relaxing - service from all staff was outstanding! - massage was pure heaven! I'll be back for sure. Could be better... - because it's a hotel (I guess) you need a key to get in the building. Then you need a key to get in the locker room. OR you press a buzzer or call the number on the door. Makes for a bit of an awkward first impression / not easy to go back and forth from treatment area upstairs to locker room with sauna and steam room downstairs. - there are no alcoholic beverages available. When we inquired about having a birthday toast they suggested we could bring our own bubbly and sit outside in the hammocks/swings. We did this and it was very nice! But see the point above about getting back in. Bit challenging! - Here's an easy one to fix: there is no cold water in the locker room so if you go in the sauna you'll need to go back upstairs to refill your cup or water bottle then have someone let you back into the locker room. A simple water station in the locker room would solve this issue, - Toiletries are available (a plus!) but on demand (not convenient). Adam is very knowledable and was able to get me out of pain. I have been getting massages for over 40 years and he is one of the very best I have ever used. I made a reservation for a spa treatment at 11 AM today, using the Quail Lodge website, which directed me to their site for booking. I was unaware that the spa is managed by a third-party provider with multiple locations, and as a result, my appointment was booked at the wrong location. I had intended to book at the Quail Lodge location specifically. Unfortunately, they were unable to accommodate me for any appointments today, and I was also refused a refund despite receiving no service. My experience at the Adeline Spa was relaxing and rejuvenating. The customer service was exceptional and all the staff was welcoming and courteous. Claire gave me a perfect Swedish massage. Jessica gave me the best facial of my freaking life. My face was glowing and felt smooth as a board after. The entire spa area is beautifully decorated with green plants everywhere, a plush sitting area to relax in, complimentary chocolate chip cookies, and I loved the badass green wall at the reception area. I went to the spa two times on my holiday to the Hyatt Regency. For the cherry there's even an adult outdoor pool next to the hotel spa and the ladies spa locker room is huge and kept immaculately clean. So many wonderful amenities at this spa for guests. Mackenzie at the front desk was as professional and respectful and helpful as anyone could be. The spa was beautiful, peaceful and clean, with tasty snacks and refreshments. The lovely receptionist was kind and patient enough to walk me through all of the services they offer and kindly booked me for a massage as well as a facial. Going into the date of my appointment the first faces of the spa were the front desk, they were all well presentable and beyond hospitable, they offered snacks and refreshments for me while waiting in the cozy lounge area for my services. Again being a first-timer at the spa I was unsure of everything but the deep therapeutic massage followed by the luxury facial was the icing on the cake!! I work as a Registered Nurse specifically as a travel nurse. I take 13 week contracts at hospitals so I rely heavily on yelp for recommendations.After reading the yelp reviews of this spa I was excited to check it out. In Monterey parking can be an issue. Not at this spa located in the hotel resort. There is plenty of free parking right by the front door. Upon arrival for my spa services I was greeted by professional, polite, knowledgeable & accommodating attendants. I was given a robe and my size slippers then walked to the woman's locker room. I was provided a locker and shown how to lock my locker with a 4 digit code of my choosing. After a tour an information about the amenities of the locker room, I got undressed & sat in the sauna for 10 minutes. (FYI in the woman's locker room you are provided with all kinds of amenities if you choose to use them. Such as hair styling products, natural spray deodorant, lotion & hair dryer etc etc.) After my sauna I headed upstairs, I sat in the seating area where there was a variety of different complimentary snacks and infused water to choose from. So I relaxed, hydrated and snacked. When my room was ready I went in and enjoyed an aromatherapy bubble bath in a big soaking tub. You can control the water flow if you want hotter water which I added to my tub. The aromatherapy tub bath was so relaxing to my entire body and left my skin feeling nourished and soft. There were cookies & cranberry juice provided to enjoy while I soaked if I choose to partake. They also supply you with a dish of body scrub to use while you soak. The soaking is private so you can peacefully relax and they will knock on the privacy window when you have 10 minutes left. That was delightful because it gives you plenty of time to dry off & get under the covers of the heated massage table. I then enjoyed a 60 minute Swedish massage from a spectacular therapist. She could tell exactly what parts of my body needed extra attention due to the physical demands of my job. I wish I could remember her name because wowsa is she an asset to the spa. She had me so relaxed after my massage I couldn't even remember to ask what her name was again. She melted all my knots and stress away. I hydrated like I was instructed to do so after my massage. The next day zero soreness still completely tension free. I definitely plan on revisiting this establishment before my contract is over. I highly suggest if you are in this area to go in for spa services. You definitely deserve it & will be glad you did. I'm not going to claim to be a spa expert however I do go to a spa once a month to keep my body & mind aligned. Therefore I would say I'm a highly qualified to recommend Spa's. In closing as an RN I'm skilled at noticing hygienic environments. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean it smelled and how clean it looked. There wasn't a spec of unsanitary conditions at this spa. When I was done using the locker room an attendant walked in with cleaning supplies and completely cleaned the area I used. The attendant did this for each guest after they used an area. The spa while I was there was fairly busy but unless you looked around you would not know. The spa maintains a quiet environment which is extremely relaxing and I was thankful to be able to relax in a clean, quiet, comfortable environment. Happy yelping. read more

This spa really is something special. Each locker room has a sauna and steam room which was so delightful before receiving our massages. I had Donna for my massage and she was excellent! She spent extra time on my shoulders even stating "you sleep with your arm under your pillow." She was right and only someone truly experienced would be able to recognize that. My friend said she had extra attention spent on her hips which are her tight spot. We both relaxed in the lounge reading magazines. Unreal. I traveled 12 hours the previous day and needed a pick me up. My esthetician Jessica gave me the best facial ever had, and I get them regularly so that says a lot. Each touch was so intentional and purposeful. Kaleo did my targeted massage and I don't have words... Like I don't know where I was or what he did but my body felt brand new after only 30 minutes. My husband and I had an INCREDIBLE experience at Spa Adeline. Our couples massage was one that we will remember (and will come back for!). Would definitely recommend getting pumpkin spice oil, I smelled delicious afterwards. We were especially grateful to front desk staff, MacKenzie & Deburah. Our pet suite at the Hyatt was not ready for check-in in time for our 4pm massage, and we were afraid we would have to cancel our massage because we were vacationing with our pug. Tried to book a half-hour bath soak and a 30-min massage, but couldn't find a spot online. Called in to book, couldn't reach for 3 times. Had to walk in to make a reservation. ended up only get the 30-min bath soak at an inconvenient time. I arrived 10 mins early but they started 4 min late, and made sure to kick me out on the dot, which means my session was cut short. There was heavy rain the previous day, so the fire sprinkler was leaking a bit. The bath water was super hot, like can fast cook steak hot. After 10-min the bubbles were all gone, and I got charged for $72. Save some money and do it at home, they say! read more

I was brought into the waiting area and had about 10 minutes before it was time for my facial. There was a fire, super comfy recliners. and the sound of water fountains.
