Etcetera Wine Bar... One of the most beautiful bars in La Misión! Amazing wines, delicious tapas, and a super cozy vibe with live music that makes the experience even better. Service is friendly and attentive. Perfect spot for a relaxing night out. Highly recommend!

their stuffed mushroom and Flammkuchen (thin breaded pizza) were amazing!!

Etcetera Wine Bar is one of the most underrated wine bar in SF. I was looking for a dinner place after coworking nearby at lans. The people were patient and gave me the best recommendations - their stuffed mushroom and Flammkuchen are my favorites. Live jazz everyday from 6-9pm, great for date nights, girls night out, and even solo nights with a good book. It's one of my favorite hidden gems in SF - this is where you can get a taste of Paris!

I've been here plenty of times and it's a good wine bar in my neighborhood. My favorite thing about this spot is the daily live music. It's a mixture of different music- live jazz, funky djs, Latin music. They have good options for wine and they serve food. But I've never loved anything on the food menu. I wouldn't suggest the food. The space is nice but the indoor chairs don't have any back support so it's not the most comfortable. The service is usually good. Michelle has helped me a few time and she was always lovely and attentive. But I went in last night and sat outside but no one ever came out after 10 mins of waiting. I've sat outside plenty of times and have always had a server come out to hand me a menu and check up on me. After waiting 10 minutes, I went inside to order. The exchange I had with a male bartender was a little awkward. He didn't really greet me. He just kind of stared at me and I wasn't sure if he was too busy to help but after maybe five seconds of staring at each other I asked for an orange wine and he asked me if I was sitting somewhere and I said yes I've been sitting outside. I was hoping to order my wine and close out right then and there but he told me he would bring it out. He never brought it out so after waiting another 10 minutes I just left.

Came to Etcetera with a few friends. We ordered two bottles of wine and they were both delicious. They have an extensive list of wines and the staff was friendly and very helpful. What I liked the most though was the vibe. They had live music playing, and it felt very cozy and relaxed. . Can't wait to come back and try the food next time!

I absolutely love this place! It is one of my favorite wine bars, if not my favorite, in sf! The food, the ambience, the wine, all of it is fantastic! I definitely recommend trying the farmers market pizza, the selection of toppings they pick are always great and well thought out. The brussel sprouts are also great Would totally recommend this place to everyone!

Service? 5/5 Vibes? 5/5 Wine? Can't go wrong. Food? Solidly mediocre. My Spanish tortilla was glorified latke at best and the Brie pastry had no umph. Tldr: Go here for the vibes, not the food.

Etcetera is my go-to spot whether I'm hosting visitors or relaxing with friends. The wine selection takes you all around the globe and they even have a nice beer list for those in the group who may prefer it. What really makes this place stand out are the delicious vegan options on the menu. This is fresh, quality food served beautifully by knowledgable, energetic and friendly staff. I am absolutely in love with the stuffed mushrooms. Addicted really. Pair that with a tastefully lush interior, comfortable outdoor seating, local art and live music ... it's easily my favorite spot in The City.

Awesome atmosphere. Weak pours on the wine. A glass is more like a tasting sit. Average service.

What time does the kitchen close?

Hi Jennifer! Depends on the day. Week days kitchen closes by about 10pm and on Friday and Saturday by 11pm. We look forward to your visit! :)

Hello there! Do you recommend reservations? I left a vm but haven't heard back. Hope to see you this weekend!

Located in the legendary Mission District of San Francisco, this wine bar is a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy small bites and yummy crafted cocktails. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. There is no bad shot as the design artist made sure every section of this cute wine bar was picture perfect. Loved all my photos and videos. I look forward to returning to this exquisite wine bar!

Charging the $10 event fee on discretion before the posted event start time seems... shady? illegal? My two friends got in a few minutes before with no cover. I was dealing with a bike lock while they went in. We were not there for the event but rather as volunteers from the weekly cleanup refuse crew in the Mission. You get perks as a thank-you for doing your part in making the City a cleaner place. We had just had a lovely time at another participating business (Beehive) and planned on Arcana being our final stop. Thankfully I was able to use the restroom without a fee, with my gear held up outside by the security team. While waiting in the restroom line, I told a staff member about all this, and the worker seemingly went up to the front to find out what's going on. The line took a few minutes, my friends also bumped into me, and I told them I'd likely wait for them outside the business post-restroom while they finished their wine. Already reported to the Mayor's Office. Maybe I'll add BBB. Should be honest and equitable! Four out of 200+ reviews by me have been one star, so I rarely share negativity. It's all rather unfortunate as other visits here went off without an issue. I warned a group of four about all this while I waited out front, and after talking to the front door folks, they left and thanked me for the advice. Please be careful if you visit here. . . .

The people were laughing, the drinks were flowing. It smelled really good, which we would later find out was from the food especially that Mac and cheese. We started off with different wines, some that Tom recommended based on what we told him we didn't like or did like. He apologized for our previous experience and was genuinely a nice guy. Honestly it's very admirable for a business owner to take feedback to heart and want to incorporate it. Plus he's a really cool guy when you get to know him. The staff was busy running around but still made time to come check on us. Our final verdict is we came on a bad day. This time we got the actual Waystone experience. We finally got to try the chicken bites with a creamy aioli, fries with yogurt sauce, and the star of the show was the Mac and cheese. Tik tok did live up to the hype and we will have to come back for one of their jazz nights. Be warned this place gets busy! But it's worth it.

The energy is vibrant without feeling overwhelming, and the noise level is just right. It's quiet enough to have a conversation and get lost in your own thoughts, but not so quiet that you feel awkward sitting in silence. Plus, the people watching was pretty entertaining, which definitely added to the experience. The three of us only tried two different wines. My friend ordered a glass of Masha, while my other friend and I both ordered the Los Chuchaquis. The verdict: Masha was really good. Good enough that a second glass was ordered! As for the Los Chuchaquis, I personally didn't love it. I found it a little too tannic and bitter for my taste. If you have a low tolerance for bitterness, this might not be the wine for you. That said, my friend, who ordered the same wine, absolutely loved it and thought it was delicious. So maybe I just ordered the wrong wine for my palate? ‍ Either way, the wine is only part of the experience. The energy here is fantastic, the bartender was welcoming and friendly, and the crowd was cheerful without being obnoxious, which I really appreciate. I'm not usually much of a night person, but I genuinely had a great time. It was one of those evenings that reminded me how nice it is to get out, enjoy good company, and simply soak in the atmosphere. I'm really glad I took my friends up on their offer to go out. Definitely a 5 star experience for the atmosphere, the energy, and the overall vibe. This seems to be such an interesting neighborhood. I'd love to come back and wander around, explore more, and discover what else this part of the city has to offer.
