Fish in Sea Salt
Tansy W.

Updating only to add that we tried the Lavraki and absolutely loved it. My new favorite fish here!

After they served the fish, they gave us the head to eat meat from the cheeks of Desired
Greta S.

So, when I eat in NYC, I anticipate great meals. But I also realize that there stew so many restaurants that not all can really be superb. So we go out when visiting and find wonderful meals. But then I come to a place like this.. and all bets are off. This surpasses my expectations and I'm mesmerized by the food and the service. Coming here is a delightful experience because we were walked over to the fish area and got to choose the fish/seafood we wanted for each course. That in itself was fun. I can my say enough how wonderful the entire evening was due to the professional staff, good bar tenders, fresh fish, and wonderful chefs. This is at the top of my list for fish places in all of Manhattan

Went for a family lunch at Estiatorio Milos and had a lovely time! Service was super nice and informative on the menu as we selected the courses. The bread was also a special treat as it's a common starter but their bread was super warm and toasty, and I think the star of the show was the fresh oregano they literally cut in front of us into the olive oil. Was impressed because it actually elevates the flavor, and the oregano itself was fresh, earthy, and aromatic (it's the little things in life). I got the grilled octopus for my appetizer, which was so savory and tender - 10/10 would get again. For my main I tried the fish of the day which was the dorado, and it was definitely one of the softest cooked fish I've had in terms of texture, not too fishy at all and in fact maybe on the blander side. For dessert, I got the karydopita, which is soaked in syrup so can be a little too sweet depending on your preference but I liked the walnuts with the spices in the cake. Overall seemed to have a clean and simple style when it came to their dishes. The inside is bright and elegantly designed, and they also have a beautiful view of the Vessel and Hudson River!

Came in for a quick bite and the octopus was surprisingly delicious. The view was perfect and the fresh complimentary fruit at the end was such a nice touch.

The location is gorgeous. There is a clear view of the Vessel. The bartender was attentive and made high quality drinks. We just had drinks.

Exquisitely prepared food. Visually and palate-wise a treat. The fried dishes were rich but not oily. The seafood was savory but not super briny. The staff was attentive but not overly so. Gorgeous views of Hudson Yard's Vessel in a wide open space. The cocktails were only OK though. Interesting ingredient choices but the flavor was often muted. Also, prepare for it to be a little pricey and not a quiet dining experience. Still highly recommended.

Beautiful space with sleek design and stunning city views. Seafood is exceptional--fresh, simply prepared, and perfectly seasoned. Service polished and professional. Pricey, but worth it for quality and experience. Ideal for special occasions or business dinners.

Great dinner, venue and exceptional service at this Hudson Yards location. Came here for dinner after a show and it was lovely. Service was stellar, wait staff were super friendly and helpful selecting a nice wine and our fresh fish for the main course. The venue is beautiful and there is a nice buzz to the floor with customers and employees enjoying the experience. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner if you want a solid meal. It is NYC so the prices are sky high but a great experience for a birthday or other celebration.

Was there for dinner on a Wednesday night at Hudson Yards location. Spectacular view of sunset and had amazing food - lobster pasta and chocolate mousse cake, YUM. However, the noise level was so loud I couldn't hear my friend next to me. And be ready to pay a big bill!

Salmon Tartre

The ambiance is pleasenr. Service just ok. Honestly, they need to up their food presentation. Salmon Tartare looked & tasted poorly. The two croutons were just dropped in the Middle of the plate. Not a nice starter. Tasteless. Stay away. My main was filet mignon- well prepared but salty? The few broccoli bits were just right but the overuse Of olive oil drizzle was a mistake. Olive Oil was drizzled on the 2 baby romaine leaves, also bland. One would expect a tangy dressing to stimulate the palate given that salmon tartare was so bland. Not a good experience tonight. The 'homade walnut pie' was dry & bland.

Food was so fresh and of excellent quality. They have a 3 course lunch special for $45. Octopus, sashimi and salmon tartar were incredible. The restaurant has an amazing view- that's reason alone to go to this restaurant.

I've been to Milos now 4 times over the last 18 months. The location is great for my client. We have hosted many business meals there and everyone always requests we to back. The service is excellent, cocktails are great and food is extremely fresh. Generally speaking, it's lighter and fresh dishes. The fish market & open fire grills for cooking are a nice touch to the ambience. The zucchini stack is my favorite appetizer, lamb chops were also a hit. Fish. Way fresh. Greek yogurt/honey and baklava was everyone's favorite desert. Can't wait to go back .

I always enjoy visiting Milo's and they provide impeccable service and food. The vibe is relaxed and epic views of the harbor. This location is excellent in Hudson Yards. I highly recommend this place.

Where on the menu is the whole fish sashimi style? Can't find it on the menu photos just wondering it's price... TIA

It's not on the menu. You have to ask them what fish you can do it in that style and you pay by the pound.

Anyone knows the restaurant week menu?

I do not think they are participating. But they do have a 3 course business lunch on weekdays for $32 includes dessert, it's on their website. They have a 4 course weekend lunch for $57. Those menus are on their website

Is there dress code for lunch?

Business crowd. Business casual ok but sophisticated (not straight tourist attire or attitude)

Is prix-fixe lunch menu available on weekends as well?

Yes it is. I think $57 for 3 course meal.

The food was a bit mixed but overall enjoyable. The Aperol spritz was slightly lackluster, though still perfectly drinkable. The brizola had good flavor, but came out more cooked than the medium rare I ordered. The standout was definitely the dolmathes avgolemono, which had a really flavorful filling and a delicious sauce that brought the whole dish together.

Kiki's has been on my list since I moved to NYC ~5 years ago and it was finally time to try it out!…read moreI went with a group of 4 on a Friday around 6:45pm. Unsurprisingly, there was a long line to put down our names on that gloriously warm and sunny spring evening. We were told the wait time was 1-1.5 hours which honestly went by so fast because there are so many fun places around the area. We got our table at around 8pm in the restaurant area right across the street. I can definitely see the timeless appeal of this place-- the vibes are so fun, the energy is young and vibrant, lights are dim, the music is loud, the smell of sizzling grilled meats and fries fills the space -- all of this hidden behind the facade of a printshop in Chinatown. It's a one-of-a-kind place. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. We shared: - bottle of orange wine: very generously priced which we easily split amongst us 4. The wine was bright, refreshing and had a lot of body. - dips: we ordered the tzaitziki and the fava bean dip. They accidentally gave us the tirokafteri (or spicy feta) initially which was ironically my favorite dip out of the ones we tried, with the perfect creamy and spicy balance. The tzaitziki was also delicious, refreshing, and cool. The fava bean dip eventually came and it was a bit flat in flavor and texture compared to the other two. It tasted like blended fava beans with some capers on top and no other flavor elements. It was also a bit dry and I was expecting a texture more similar to hummus. The dips came with very delicious pita/regular bread and we also asked for cucumber slices for our gluten free friend (didn't know this was an option but cool!). - octopus: pretty small portion for 4 people but amazing! The octopus was super tender and flavorful. Considering how busy this place is, I was surprised at how well made this was. They have the dish mastered. Highly recommend! Would order again. - gigante beans: tomato bean stew, pretty good and filling! Good to share if you want something a bit more hearty and warm. Also gluten free! Perfect for colder months. - saganaki: I think I would come back exclusively for this alone. It's the perfect dish: the salty and melty cheese is packed inside layers of crispy, flaky, buttery phyllo, with sweet honey on top. This had the perfect balance of flavors and textures. I would order one for myself next time. Definitely a crowd favorite. - mixed grill: the menu said this was for 3 but it was actually a very generous portion for us 4. Delicious meats: it had lamb chops, some chicken and pork souvlaki, Greek sausage, and ground beef patties, all over a bed of well seasoned fries and pita. Truly a stellar dish. Perfect to share and super satisfying. - desserts: we tried the baklava and cheesecake. The baklava came completely without structure and was not that good (too heavy on the cinnamon for my taste and not enough filling), however the cheesecake was rich and creamy with a tangy flavor that perfectly balanced the sweet strawberries and delicious crust! Very well made. My major critique is that the service was quite disappointing. I felt like our waitress was not very kind/ helpful/ was annoyed at us perpetually for no good reason. Additionally, items in our order were messed up or came out too late (which is usually acceptable because we all make mistakes but flagging down anyone for help was virtually impossible). Ultimately, I would probably come again with a group of young people because the food was so good and affordable. The vibe is also pretty unique. However, Kiki's could certainly benefit from polishing its service a bit/ hiring more staff so there is enough attention to customers. While they understandably manage tremendous volumes of people, especially over weekends, that should not come at the expense of the customer experience.

The salad was very fresh and generously sprinkled with feta and beautiful cherry tomatoes. The spinach pie was delicious and the moussaka served in an individual crock was great. My favorite might have been the mussels: plump, tender and no grit in a savory sauce that was perfect for dipping even more bread in. Pricing was reasonable and service was wonderful. Everyone makes slips. $80+ got us 1) a chicken platter 2) two small soggy slices of halloumi 3) a salad with a single lukewarm chicken kebab on the side. The food was fatty, greasy, cold, and looked like it had been leftover and reheated from someone else's plate. Perhaps the delivery kitchen is different than the dine-in one?
