Love this place! It's ambience is very beautiful intimate and comfortable. I've been here twice and came here today for a quick birthday dinner. The food has been consistently tasty and fresh. Get the grilled octopus for sure, it had the best texture; it was buttery, tender, and very simply seasoned yet so delicious. Their drinks are very solid as well. I had a mojito during their happy hour and it was 10$, one of the best I've had. The server was very kind and attentive as well.

Horiatiki; always very good but tonight better than usual, probably because cukes & tomatoes are in prime season right now!

We've eaten here at least 4x, probably more, and it's spot on every time. Tonight's horiatiki was amazing, probably because cukes and tomatoes are in prime season right now. Thwn we shared Gigante beans, in their glorious tomato dill sauce, served with feta and pita; and the spanakopita. That comes as 3 small triangles, but trust me, this isn't your Trader Joe's or Costco spanakopita! Each small triangular pastry is stuffed with a delicious spinach-dill mixture. Definitely recommend this location.

The first 2 dishes are in $30 Lunch Restaurant week deal. I think the portion is huge for the price, and the food tastes good. First dish is like a paste/rice kinda thing. It's well-cooked, not soggy at all. I did add more salt and lime juice for more flavor. The 2nd one is croquettes filled with 3 types of cheese. The souvlaki pita is standard.

I came here with my friends to try some Greek food. It's a basement cafe-style Greek restaurant. You may miss it if you ignore the sign by the stairs. We had a lovely, cute table by the window. The window faces the stairs, but it has the feel of a charming hidden gem. We had the salmon hummus or pate that we ate with pita bread. Then, one friend ordered veggie Moussakas. Another had an octopus, which looked delicious. I had seafood that was served with orzo. I enjoyed my meal, although I didn't expect to see seafood swimming in Orzo. It was tasty. I couldn't finish my meal so i took half to go. George took care of our table. Maybe he's part of the family. He made sure we received everything we ordered and that we enjoyed our meals. I don't mind returning to the restaurant, but there are so many restaurants to try in the city, so I have to pay attention to the area in case I pass by and want some Greek food again. Excellent!

I get pick-up from here at least twice a week

How have I never written a review for this location before?? I moved to the neighborhood and fell in love with this for a very speedy, healthy and affordable lunch or dinner option quickly. I am obsessed - I get the same thing almost every time. Chicken souvlaki pita (no fries, add lettuce) and I pick it up and it's also SO fresh. My review has to count more than others because I've ordered from here weekly for the last year. Several times a week sometimes when in a pinch. So it proves they are VERY consistent with their quality. Epic service, freshness and please try!

Fantastic food in a casual enviornment. Been ordering from them for years but finally had dinner at the restaurant. The fresh pita is amazing and they give you so much with everything. I got the pita wrap and soup, and they were just fantastic. Fair prices also.

10/10. Always good. Always consistent. Started with three dips for the table and ended with the lamb pita. SO GOOD. The service is swift, but key to make a reservation if you're trying to grab an evening time slot. The food is authentic Greek food, and the interior is the closest you will get to feel like you are in Greece for only the price of a subway ride.

Absolutely amazing, everything was tender and juicy We started with the octopus for the appetizer. It was literally the best octopus I've had in a restaurant in the U.S. I then got the seafood pasta and my husband got the lemon chicken with roasted potatoes. The chicken was tender and juicy I was impressed because most of the time chicken in restaurants are at least a little dry. I am definitely coming here again. Please go 10/10, staff was friendly

One of my favorite go to restaurants before heading to City Center. Quick, inexpensive, and delicious. The lamb wrap and the fries with cheese along with a martini are my favorites.

I had the best lunch experience in this downstairs cozy Greek cafe in Midtown. They have daily specials, from which I ordered stuffed peppers which tasted just like those I made in a cooking class in Greece. The waiter was from Tripoli and loved to connect over all things Greek. I had quick service and plentiful food. Tiny details make a big difference: their pita was amazing and fresh. I would love to come back for their happy hour specials.

Felt like it would've been better if we were just standing the whole time. The patio furniture indoors is a nice idea but just impractical to eat more than one dish off of. I'm not sure how they've lasted so long with this layout. Food was okay, nothing outstanding. Not worth the pain of simply sitting in the space. Sad because I think it could be a lot better if the just sacrificed two tables and switched to more stable furniture. Enjoyed the time with my friends here but I would go elsewhere next time.

Unsurprisingly, there was a long line to put down our names on that gloriously warm and sunny spring evening. We were told the wait time was 1-1.5 hours which honestly went by so fast because there are so many fun places around the area. We got our table at around 8pm in the restaurant area right across the street. I can definitely see the timeless appeal of this place-- the vibes are so fun, the energy is young and vibrant, lights are dim, the music is loud, the smell of sizzling grilled meats and fries fills the space -- all of this hidden behind the facade of a printshop in Chinatown. It's a one-of-a-kind place. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. We shared: - bottle of orange wine: very generously priced which we easily split amongst us 4. The wine was bright, refreshing and had a lot of body. - dips: we ordered the tzaitziki and the fava bean dip. They accidentally gave us the tirokafteri (or spicy feta) initially which was ironically my favorite dip out of the ones we tried, with the perfect creamy and spicy balance. The tzaitziki was also delicious, refreshing, and cool. The fava bean dip eventually came and it was a bit flat in flavor and texture compared to the other two. It tasted like blended fava beans with some capers on top and no other flavor elements. It was also a bit dry and I was expecting a texture more similar to hummus. The dips came with very delicious pita/regular bread and we also asked for cucumber slices for our gluten free friend (didn't know this was an option but cool!). - octopus: pretty small portion for 4 people but amazing! The octopus was super tender and flavorful. Considering how busy this place is, I was surprised at how well made this was. They have the dish mastered. Highly recommend! Would order again. - gigante beans: tomato bean stew, pretty good and filling! Good to share if you want something a bit more hearty and warm. Also gluten free! Perfect for colder months. - saganaki: I think I would come back exclusively for this alone. It's the perfect dish: the salty and melty cheese is packed inside layers of crispy, flaky, buttery phyllo, with sweet honey on top. This had the perfect balance of flavors and textures. I would order one for myself next time. Definitely a crowd favorite. - mixed grill: the menu said this was for 3 but it was actually a very generous portion for us 4. Delicious meats: it had lamb chops, some chicken and pork souvlaki, Greek sausage, and ground beef patties, all over a bed of well seasoned fries and pita. Truly a stellar dish. Perfect to share and super satisfying. - desserts: we tried the baklava and cheesecake. The baklava came completely without structure and was not that good (too heavy on the cinnamon for my taste and not enough filling), however the cheesecake was rich and creamy with a tangy flavor that perfectly balanced the sweet strawberries and delicious crust! Very well made. My major critique is that the service was quite disappointing. I felt like our waitress was not very kind/ helpful/ was annoyed at us perpetually for no good reason. Additionally, items in our order were messed up or came out too late (which is usually acceptable because we all make mistakes but flagging down anyone for help was virtually impossible). Ultimately, I would probably come again with a group of young people because the food was so good and affordable. The vibe is also pretty unique. However, Kiki's could certainly benefit from polishing its service a bit/ hiring more staff so there is enough attention to customers. While they understandably manage tremendous volumes of people, especially over weekends, that should not come at the expense of the customer experience.
