What a welcome addition to Sutton Place! There's been a hole in my heart since Coco Pazzeria closed...went to La Terra last night about 8:15, which is late for the area. It's a decent sized space with a bar and a front and back seating area. The restaurant still had ppl eating which is unusual for the area/time of night, but took this as a very good sign. We ordered a round- wine and a lemon drop martini which was very good. As much as I loved Coco, it wasn't for their drinks. Our meal was delish- my friend ordered the linguine with clams and I had the eggplant with cheese (very similar to eggplant parm) and a side of broccoli rabe. Was very impressed with the quality of food, and that it was reasonably priced. Service was good too...Will be back!

Celebratory lunch, new restaurant - perfect opportunity. First impression is clean, welcoming, and tables set decently apart. Our friendly knowledgeable server alerted us both to her faves and diners'. Standard bread, silky olive oil. Meatball appetizer just right, rich tomato sauce. I should have ordered orichetti with sausage and broccolini...next time. In-house lasagna was deeply flavored. Ethereal fried zucchini, could not stop eating it. Our server pointed out desserts created inhouse- we chose tiramisu (perfectly classic, not too sweet) and pistachio creme brûlée (exceptionally silky and luscious, truthfully I couldn't discern pistachio but it was fabulous anyway). Great addition to the block!

Update to 5 stars. Even in a couple of weeks they've made it even better. They still don't have liquor license so it's BYOB. We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and accommodating. We arrived around 6pm on a Wednesday and by 7pm, the place was full. We split the watermelon salad, grilled octopus and they accommodated our request for a primavera even though it's not on the menu. The stand out was the octopus but the other dishes were very good.

Amazing food with excellent prices. Everyone is so attentive and the space is so nice, I wanted to stay all night. Definitely get the almond cake!

What a great neighborhood place. Great bar to have dinner and the staff is so friendly and on top of everything. The fried calamari w shrimp and zucchini was a huge portion with a huge bowl of red sauce for dipping. The orrichetti with sausage and broccoli rabe fed 2 of us. Will be back sooner than later

As expected, quick service, flavorful food, and surprisingly quiet ambiance. The place was at 90% occupancy when we were there. Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen ($20), and Spicy shrimp ($23) is what we got. Very flavorful and good portion size. Highly recommended if you enjoy a hot bowl of Ramen!

We tried the spicy shrimp (coconut based broth), spicy tonkatsu, and salmon miso ramen. The tonkatsu and salmon were both cooked well - tender and moist. Ramen noodles were thin and well cooked - more al dente. We also tried the karaage which had a thick crispy batter and a sweet glaze, with an optional spicy side sauce for dipping. They had a variety of sake and beer options. The inside is small but turnaround is fairly quick. Lots of two seaters and a large table that we were able to snag after just a few minutes of waiting. There was also bar seating. Pretty dark inside to add to the ambiance for a quick date or catch up with friends. Checked in to the waitlist via Resy because we didn't have a reservation, and it was a short wait. Service was prompt.

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

I hadn't been to EDH in a while and was happy to see they do have later hours (with a smaller late night menu). The place was pretty busy at 10:00 PM last Saturday, with a wide range of diners, which is good for business. The food though, at least that night, was really disappointing. My friend had the chicken dumplings. He said they were okay. I thought they were overcooked. My steamed shrimp shumai were fine, but steamed, they didn't have much flavour. The edamame, on the other hand, had way too much when it should have almost none. I don't know if it was excess salt, MSG or something else, but not good. I should have sent them back. I hope this was just an off night for the kitchen.

I went with 2 other ppl and we all got their Onigiri Combo, which was ~$16, and you get 2 onigiris, a miso soup, and a cup of their sides (edamame, sweet egg, pickled carrots). For my combo, I got a Sukiyaki Beef onigiri, which was my fave one, and a Salmon onigiri, which was fine, just a bit plainer than I'd like. But, I like that they added furikake seasoning throughout it to add flavor. I didn't care much for their sides - the egg was too sweet for my liking and the pickled carrots were too soft. I ordered an addtl Kinko (mushroom) onigiri bc I was quite hungry and it was alright. Def a lighter taste. Overall, a decent spot for a solid, reliable, good bite! Place is clean and service is friendly. There's a bathroom down a hallway that does the job. I'd come back for a meal that's great value!
