They really kept me on task/gave direction when I needed to sift through things which was incredibly helpful. Otherwise when I had to work or was busy with my kids they never seem to waste a minute. Moving with two toddlers was completely overwhelming, but they unpacked and got us organized in the new house in just two days. I called them back to organize the garage I'd managed to stuff full with overflow and in just a day they had it all perfectly purged, sorted and stacked. They showed up on-time and worked without stopping aside from a short lunch break (which was always fun getting to chat with them) -which was quite impressive given the slog I put them through. He had no lights on his trailer so I didn't see him until he was about 50 feet away. I went under the trailer and hit the axle at around 45 mph suffering head trauma among other things. My life was forever changed. Assessing the damage still years later it was found I lost the ability to organize things around me and remember what I had. I tended to keep things out in the open so I could see it every day and take an account of what I had. Then I moved in with my entire household of stuff into my grandmother's home which was also full of stuff. To make matters worse I had become a bit of a shopaholic after my accident. I could never remember what I bought so I bought it 4 and 5 times over in many cases. I was tripping over boxes and furniture and my family or friends would no longer come inside to visit. My mom did some research and hired Randi Lyman of A Helping Hand. She couldn't have picked a better person to help me. Randi is very considerate and a positive force even in my life today. She is so supportive and in no way looks down on you regardless of your situation. She is so compassionate and incredibly professional. My house is now organized and de cluttered. She helped me make decisions where my thought processes had broken down. I can't thank her enough for what she did. Things to consider: It's an investment - time, efficiency and the sense of joy of an organized home should be considered the criteria as success. Handyman charges an hourly rate of $140/hr. In hindsight, I would rather a fixed rate by project. You can save costs here if are handy and have the desire to do things on your own. I spent more than I planned, because I didn't have the interest or capacity for such. I was a bit hands off and didn't get overly in the details. I had Just closed, eager to get settled. Everyone I've shown the finished product to is excited about how my project turned out and wants to do the same thing for themselves. I will likely revisit using them to help me edit and keep myself organized, which is a service they offer. I'm back to work off holiday break, with an unboxed home that's organized, but it will cost you. When I move again, I will definitely factor this service in my relocation budget.

Moving is normally so stressful and overwhelming but having Moxie here was the magic cure for that! (The other major component was using Heavenly Moving to do a full service move that included packing- highly recommend!) The Moxie team had EVERYTHING out of boxes with the cardboard broken down and packing paper all bagged up when they were done. They left me with a beautifully organized home, including all the drawers, cabinets, closets, even the "junk" drawer (which is too nice to even be called a junk drawer now lol) and the peg board in the garage! If I had tried to do the unpacking myself it would have taken months, it wouldn't have been completed so nicely, and there are things that would have probably never gotten done at all.
