Matt And Oleg helped us move all our belongings from two storage units in Irvine all the way to our new apt in Torrance; and they got it all done within exactly 3 hours (including travel time) so we wouldn't have to spend more money than the minimum! I had a great experience with AMC Move aside from a small scuff on the door frame that couldn't be avoided when they moved our huge 3 cushion couch through a narrow doorway into our living room. Horrible company! After telling AMC three days before the move that I can not move past 10 pm at my storage facility due to property hours, they pushed my move time back three times. The original time was from 1-3, then moved to 2-4 the day before the move, and the day of the move 4-5:20. It takes two hours to pack, one and fifteen minutes to get there, then another hour to unpack. They started at 5:30 pm. Oleg showed up with another mover and hardly had any moving material. Oleg got an attitude with me because I noticed his other worker shoving my fragile boxes around. He said that they didn't have to help me move and they can remove my stuff from the truck. He was rude and confrontational. If it weren't for my guy friend helping they would have never got this done on time. We made it out of the storage facility 10 to 10. Oh, and they did a shitty job of shrink-wrapping my furniture, didn't want to lend me blankets or boxes, and they didn't remove my chandelier And had the nerve to ask full for the full payment. He insulted me during payment and tried to blame everything on me. These guys are cheap and they do a shitty job and they are disrespectful. You're better off paying a little more and hiring a professional. read more

I was hired to help organize and orchestrate a move for someone in San Juan Capistrano. My duties were mostly packing/organizing things and using my truck to move the smaller items. We hired on a moving company to transport the bulky/large items. Moving PLUS was the company we hired. The three workers who assisted us were Ed, David, and Adrian. It was a pleasure working along side of these guys. They were on time, efficient with their work, and were a great team. They work fast but take great care of customer possessions, being sure to wrap and secure things well in their truck. Most of all, they are all easy to communicate with and keep on the same page. DO NOT HIRE THESE GUYS THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE! I called them on 8/12 and asked if they could do a long distance move to Washington state and they said no problem. They came over and looked at my belongings on 7/12 and said they would send me a quote. They sent me a quote same day via text CONFIRMING it was going to be $3800, date, time the movers would be here and what is included. So I wake up this morning and receive a TEXT "that they have some major issues going on with one of the trucks that was supposed to be on my moving project and that we are unable to provide long distance service suggested. Sorry" THAT WAS IT! First of all why didn't I receive a call?? Moving is stressful enough and they cancel on me via text and I'm moving in less than 30 days, and now have to find another moving company!?! Totally unprofessional! So I call and speak to one of the so called movers in charge and express my frustration and all he could say is sorry! So I said you can't fix the truck or find a new truck?? No explanation or answer, just a sorry...that's it!! I asked to speak to the owner and they REFUSED to give me his name or phone number!! Why is that information a secret? What business owner doesn't speak to their own customers? You don't run a business this way or treat your potential customers with disrespect!! Why can't I speak to the owner? Any professional business the owner is more than willing to speak to an unhappy customer. I am appalled that this company is even in business! I tried looking them up on the BBB and they are not listed. I also tried calling the first number they have on their website and it's disconnected so I sent and email and the email address doesn't work. What a bunch a frauds! I bet they don't even have any insurance or an LLC! If you look up their address it belongs to the USPS in Irvine so they don't even have a professional office. We moved on 9/8/17 with the help of Ed and another guy(can't remember his name). They both provided excellent service and were at my home at 7:45 ready to start. It was the quickest move I have experienced. They were both very fast and cautious not to break anything. They shrink wrapped the furniture and made sure it was all safe to load. These guys were AMAZING! Very professional, courteous, and reasonably priced. They did all the shrink wrapping for my furniture to keep it safe. I called them the day before I needed the service and they were able to fit me in and actually came sooner than expected! They were able to get my 1 bedroom, loft, living room, entertainment center and dining room moved within 3 hours. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Orange County area looking for movers. They also bring a very large sized truck, which is included in the moving price. I definitely will be using them again when I buy my house! :) read more

I was scheduled to move this past Wed. to have Th + Fri to clean old place (I booked ONE MONTH in advance!). Got a call from "Jennifer" at FIVE P.M. Tuesday (the day before move) saying they weren't going to make it THE NEXT DAY! I told her it was suppose to rain TH but she said they move in the rain all the time. What was I suppose to do? NO WAY could I get a different company to come out on Wed. when it was FIVE P.M. on TUESDAY! The movers came + after looking at the contents of my 500 sq. ft. apt. they said, "Oh, we can do this in 4 hrs. no problem!" EVEN THOUGH they only sent TWO workers and I requested THREE! They got the job done in just less than SIX hrs. I was not given a discount for them cancelling at the last minute or having to endure moving in the rain because they cancelled the day before at the last minute! I was charged the 2-man rate but so what? Three men were suppose to come! AND one guy kept saying, "we would do this or we would do that but because of time constraints we won't." I was their last job of the day! What time constraints? I ended up having to pay for an extra day at the old place to make FIVE more trips myself (I am a disabled senior) and have time to clean the place. They are nice - but watch out. They could cancel on you at last minute AND not do anything to make it up to you AND not move everything you want moved so you end up having to spend hours + hours yourself finishing the move. I DO NOT recommend if you want a smooth move. They can say what they want as a comment but THEY DID CANCEL less than 24hrs. before the move date, they moved (part of my things not everything- because they kept saying they had time constraints) IN THE RAIN, and spent just under 6 hrs. to do it. read more

Moving PLUS was amazing! Best decision we've made to hire them. They hustled and was able to move us into our 4 bedroom, 3 bath (2 level) home in under 5 hours (including drive time from Buena Park area to Laguna). We booked them to move the morning after 4th of July and they were on time, courteous of our belongings and home. They were also extremely polite and asked whether they could use the bathroom, each time. I had a wonderful moving experience with this company,they were on time,moved all of my 5bedroom home in a timely fashion. I noticed all my furniture and items were wrapped professionally and safe. I noticed all of my belongings we're fit into the moving van to utilize space and insure that nothing would be damaged. Everything I specified about placement of my furniture in our new place was done correctly including re wiring our televisions,appliances and assembly of the new furniture.
