I come here all the time, but after this experience I will never come to this establishment again…read more I rarely write reviews, but I don't want anyone else to have to go through this. I was a walk in appointment, and they told me to come back in 40 minutes. Totally understandable, so I did. When I returned, I checked in and then I sat there waiting for another 10 minutes before another woman walked in and said she also had a 6:00 appointment. The staff then told a client whose nails they were already working on that they couldn't continue her design because the woman who had just arrived had an appointment. After hearing that conversation...and knowing I had already been waiting over 20 minutes myself...I spoke up and said that I also had a 6:00 appointment. The other woman left because she was understandably frustrated, and then the staff proceeded to ignore me. I get it if they are busy, but the fact that there was no communication between any one of their employees or me was ridiculous. I finally asked how much longer they think it would be. They said they were finishing a design. (Even though they were about to stop the design to work on the nails of the woman that came in 10 minutes after me) I asked again, and they told me about 20 more minutes. So I was told to wait 40 minutes before coming back, then waited another 20 minutes after I arrived, only to be told to wait an additional 20 minutes. That's completely unacceptable and incredibly disrespectful of customers' time. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never be coming here again.

Lynn is a Queen!…read more This was my third time here, and I have never been disappointed! They take their time, really listen to what you want, and offer great suggestions and tips to help bring your inspiration picture to life. The salon is clean, they use organic products, and they have a great selection of current brands and colors in both dip and gel. For my set, she actually combined both options, which turned out beautifully. I also love how well my nails grow out between appointments--they continue to look good as they grow. The attention to detail really makes a difference. I had previously tried another popular salon in Glen Ellyn, and unfortunately, even a basic French manicure there was subpar compared with the quality I consistently get here. I'll definitely continue coming back!

Admittedly she did a great job with my super blonde highlights but I was very disappointed with the fact of her refusal of getting lowlights as well!! I desperately needed to tone down all the copper, orange to go away. She just didn't seem confident enough to handle it. She cut the back crooked and I brought a picture of the style I wanted and couldn't even get that!! During the comb out she was using a teeny tiny comb which would be perfect for a balding man, no wide tooth comb in sight! She kept on sticking the blow dryer directly in my ear and cutting time it felt like she was slicing my ears off I've learned my lesson and will never ever go back there again! She didn't even know what a toner was, now that's sad.
