Autumn, Jasmine, and Ashley were the heart of this place. Service was too notch, food was excellent (thank you to the kitchen staff) and drinks were great. Highly, highly recommend, we will be back! read more

Never felt more welcomed and taken care of than I did at this lounge. Andy and Malik were excellent and very personable. I could tell they really cared about making the experience great for my girlfriend and I. I have been to about 20 other airport lounges while traveling and this was the best customer service experience. The food and drinks are also excellent. 10/5 stars read more

Didn't expect to find this gem at BDL. Was delayed and spent some time working and relaxing here. One of the best lounges I've been to across Europe and North America. Thanks to Andy and Alex for their awesome hospitality. read more

I flew through Hartford, CT and saw this lounge. Previously I had only seen lounges tied to an airline. I tried it out. It was pleasant. A great concept. The food was good. The service was excellent. Jacqueline who who was working at the time was fantastic. Escape Lounges should be glad they have her. read more

Comfortable space, the morning i was there they had a delicious egg spinach and egg round as well as the usual breakfast spread. Great deal if you have a Amex Plat card, a bit pricey if you pay full price however unless you have quite a long layover read more

Great service, comfortable chairs, decent selection of food, coffee drinks, sodas, and full bar. I took off one star, because it was freezing in there. Other than that, great experience and was happy to have this safe haven to stay at for ~5 hours while our flight got delayed 3x. Damn you Spirit Airlines! Never again. read more

Escape is a great lounge. We finally had an opportunity to try it out and it's awesome. It ranks up there amongst the best of the "proprietary" lounges. Convenient, comfortable and peaceful. Good food and snacks. Pleasant and according staff.. And do I need to mention Tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons?!!! WOW! read more

Awesome drinks and a level of craft cocktails that you won't find even in a larger city. Alex was fantastic, as well as Andy and Joanna! This is a hidden gem and can't believe I'm just discovering it. Thank you all and I'll see you next time! Oh and don't forget to try Andy's Negroni! read more

Escape Lounge - Airport Lounges Near Me - Windsor Locks, Connecticut

Wow, this is a very nice lounge with a great bar, quiet ambiance, screaming fast internet and awesome food. I had the braised beef and polenta served in a small individual crockpot. Pretty cool! read more

Great service by John and Andy! It's nice to see the lounge back following the closure during the height of the pandemic. Food is ordered and served you by the servers, hence reducing some touchpoints. The only complaint I would have is that the lounge currently closes at 2PM. Hopefully the lounge will soon have regular hours! Looking forward to my next visit. read more

Andy and Jonathan are great! They make you feel welcome and the venue is immaculate. The food is always good and it really is a great escape! read more

Jacqueline and Johanna were incredible hosts at a surprisingly great airport lounge. Food was spectacular. I go there a lot but it was never this good. Must have been a change of personal but someone needs a raise. These guys put in a GREAT show. Short rib was great. Found out the chefs name. Paul you are doing a PHENOMENAL job, just sayin. Definitely going back read more

This is Bradley Airports hidden gem tucked neatly behind a glass door near Gate 1. At first I walked past it,but as I turned back it was right there. I walked into this place and a friendly face greeted me with a warm welcome her name was Jackie. This place is free for Amex platinum members all you have to show is your card or boarding pass that day . Today I had a Groupon which normally would be 45.00 but cost me a mere 20.00. I recommend checking Groupon the week before you go so you could print it out. The hostess told me where everything was and there was a list of alcohol beverages which starts at 6 a.m ,it was only 5 a.m. opening time for this lounge ,so I proceeded to the coffee bar which you could get a coffee or hot tea or make yourself a cappuccino. There is plenty of selections of fruit, cheese, yogurt and breads . I saw a frittata with asiago and spinach which was under hot lamps it was very hot when I took one out. Nice and thick square or goodness. I had eaten three by time I left this place, lol. There is a lovely assortment of jellies in mini jars you could bring back to the table with you which I loved. There is a boarding schedule near the food area and in the waiting area just to keep you updated on your flight!!! I patiently waited till 6 a.m. to get my first complimentary champagne prosecco. Ended up having three by time my flight was ready to board, lol ! There was music playing on a good station and the lighting was very good too.Wi-Fi had the best speed in was posted a different places so you know what the password was! Plenty of tables and seating in the back which you'll find a cookies bar which was Gourmet cookies of peanut butter, oatmeal or chocolate chip with bags so you could take them to go on the plane with you! Plus Plus for me . I love snacks to go. Also was a candy bar with Jolly Ranchers and Starburst that you could take to go with little baggies. The bathrooms were very clean and tidy. Visual wise this place is fancy ! You have plenty of windows in the lounge to watch planes move in and out or watch the sun rise or set if your there around that time . I would suggest that you take at least 3-4 hours to enjoy this place before your take off. I wish I had spent more time there ! read more

Wow. Excellent small plate food items, friendly service, and comfortable lounge space. Just wonderful.

Andy and John were awesome! So accommodating and welcoming, definitely my new go too when flying out of BDL!

Always a pleasure to visit. One of the best non airline lounges around. Thoughtful, and attentive service. Jacqueline and Andy were spot on with their service today, in spite of unprecedented business due to weather delays. Right On! read more

I used to look forward to arriving early to hang out in the lounge, but recent changes has cheapened the experience. My gripes are: breakfast ends at 10 - who wants short ribs at 10am? Starbursts have been replaced by Tootsie Rolls - which the candy preference of NO ONE. You now have to ask for fresh fruit or bottled water - I guess bananas thieves are on the loose. Considering the criteria to access the lounge they need to step up their game - not dual them back. read more

My favorite Escape Lounge ! Andy and staff are super friendly , personable , helpful and truly hospitable ! Food is great too .

A happy coincidence landed me at this lounge. Tomato soup is ethereal ( made from scratch) and the Mac and cheese entree yummy! The staff bends over backwards to accommodate. I'm here on a Saturday of a holiday weekend so the lounge is pretty empty. Highly recommend. read more

Leaving a review might be a bad idea because I don't want all you Yelpers to blow up my new favorite airport hang spot! Escape lounge is very affordable, relaxing , awesome staff, and has clean bathrooms! Alex and Andy were exceptional hosts. Definitely making this a regular part of my airport routine here at Bradley. read more

My wife and I paid to spend time here for the 3 hours wait for our flight. There are no other lounges (to my knowledge.) There is a very decent buffet, excellent desserts, and free non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Service was excellent. The only downside is that it is small and got full while we were there. I would suggest making an online reservation. read more

Jonathan was legit. This was a great experience! If I'm in Hartford again I'll be back here for sure!

I travel quite a bit, and I enjoyed one of the best "lounge experiences" in the past year or so at BDL's Escape Lounge. Granted--it doesn't compare to some of the international setups when you're flying out of LAX or the Centurion Lounge at LAS... But, the service I enjoyed at Escape Lounge out rivaled the competition from other larger hubs, and I absolutely loved the selection of beers, especially Flower Power IPA! read more

It was great to be able to visit after such a long time. Andy and John provided excellent, attentive service!

It may not be the biggest lounge in the world but he staff here really make his place wonderful. Everyone is incredibly attentive, helpful and cheerful. A great respite from the stress of traveling. read more

Great place to kick back away from the hustle of the gates. They take good care of the guests. Special kudos to Andrew who was full of energy and service on even a gloomy rainy day. Table service of little snacks made it worth the visit. read more

Great experience ! Andy was extremely friendly and accommodating. Excellent service from a wonderful staff. Andy, Shane and Josh made sure our family was well taken care of . Highly recommend read more

Johnathan is amazing! He made us feel like we were at home and was very sociable. I loved my experience.

Andy and Jonathan are awesome. They remember you and greet you as you come in the door. Food is great and above normal airline lounges. The folks there are truly invested in making sure the guests have a good time. read more

I would have rated higher as it is nice but the fruit flies all over the place and on the food grossed me out. In todays day and age there is a thing called n exterminator. They also sell fruit fly traps. I was so grossed out I left my dish and drink and walked out. How does the health dept let them get away with it? read more

This is the best thing going at Bradley. Excellent food and beverages - connection with the Millwright chef I believe. Tapas style small plates. Nice bar. It's worth the dollars to enter or free with business class on Aer Lingus. Great place to take a break from the busy single terminal in Hartford. The staff is consistently great - super helpful and engaged. Well done team and management!! read more

Just visited the BDL Escape Lounge for the first time and absolutely love it! Great selection of food, especially compared to The Club lounges, and it was all delicious! A very comfy atmosphere to relax before a flight. And the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Jackie and Andy! Used the wifi and the bathroom, no complaints there. And how did I almost forget the to-go cookies and candy?! Just make sure you have the right Amex Platinum and you're good to go :) Can't wait to come back! read more

Today is my third visit to the Escape Lounge in the BDL airport (Hartford-Windsor Locks). The food is very good for lounge food. The bar is great. But it is the staff which makes this a stand-out lounge. Attentive and nver too busy to address a need...even when jounge is packed. I've been in United/American/Delta/Alaska lounges and these guys challenge the very best. I'm so glad since I will be flying out of BDL for the next 18 months. read more

Lovely welcome addition to this airport that I frequent and sweet "no attitude" staff Comfy chairs and despite being small, it felt spacious Nice coffee machine but could be cleaner as I noticed it could really use a wipe down Food choices were good, nice presentation but wish they had some healthier options Soup was very flavorful. A small fridge with help yourself cold drinks would be a suggestion to add. Noticed crumbs on the floor when I placed my charger in the floor outlet and bathroom is atrocious with overflowing trash and toilet paper off the roll holder, so another suggestion would be to have regular checks on these areas and improve the cleanliness read more

Andy and John went above and beyond. They made our brief stay there enjoyable and relaxing. I do wish the hours were extended beyond the 2pm closing time, but our time in the lounge was great. We will return! read more

After a rough weekend at my father in laws memorial service, we arrived early at Bradley international b4 our 2nd coast to coast trip in a month. We were basically told I had the "wrong" AE Premier Card and told it would be 90 to use this lounge. No where at the door does it say anything about having to have a specific AExpress card. Bad on you American Express, the one time I need you, you deceive and mislead. Double bad on you escape lounge for not posting your real rules. read more

It was my first time in an escape lounge and Jacqueline really took care of me. She had great customer service and made sure I had everything I needed. I would highly recommend. read more

If you've got an AMEX Platinum card, some time to kill, and don't like waiting at your gate, the small, quiet escape lounge is your solid option at BDL. With the lack of major airline lounges, the Escape Lounge gives you what they would and does it with friendly staff and tasty small bites. This is a welcome addition to this small airport. As they say, "There's no such thing as small airports, just small people." read more

This was the best $20 (Groupon) spent... fantastic small plates - and free drinks. We arrived at the airport 2hrs early, and then were delayed an hour. We definitely used the $20pp fee.. plenty of plugs to charge - clean bathrooms.. comfy.. and everyone is super friendly.. if you're early (or delayed) - take advantage! read more
