Great service by John and Andy! It's nice to see the lounge back following the closure during the height of the pandemic. Food is ordered and served you by the servers, hence reducing some touchpoints. The only complaint I would have is that the lounge currently closes at 2PM. Hopefully the lounge will soon have regular hours! Looking forward to my next visit. read more

This is Bradley Airports hidden gem tucked neatly behind a glass door near Gate 1. At first I walked past it,but as I turned back it was right there. I walked into this place and a friendly face greeted me with a warm welcome her name was Jackie. This place is free for Amex platinum members all you have to show is your card or boarding pass that day . Today I had a Groupon which normally would be 45.00 but cost me a mere 20.00. I recommend checking Groupon the week before you go so you could print it out. The hostess told me where everything was and there was a list of alcohol beverages which starts at 6 a.m ,it was only 5 a.m. opening time for this lounge ,so I proceeded to the coffee bar which you could get a coffee or hot tea or make yourself a cappuccino. There is plenty of selections of fruit,cheese,yogurt and breads . I saw a frittata with asiago and spinach which was under hot lamps it was very hot when I took one out. Nice and thick square or goodness. I had eaten three by time I left this place,lol. There is a lovely assortment of jellies in mini jars you could bring back to the table with you which I loved. There is a boarding schedule near the food area and in the waiting area just to keep you updated on your flight!!! I patiently waited till 6 a.m. to get my first complimentary champagne prosecco. Ended up having three by time my flight was ready to board, lol ! There was music playing on a good station and the lighting was very good too.Wi-Fi had the best speed in was posted a different places so you know what the password was! Plenty of tables and seating in the back which you'll find a cookies bar which was Gourmet cookies of peanut butter, oatmeal or chocolate chip with bags so you could take them to go on the plane with you! Plus Plus for me . I love snacks to go. Also was a candy bar with Jolly Ranchers and Starburst that you could take to go with little baggies. The bathrooms were very clean and tidy. Visual wise this place is fancy ! You have plenty of windows in the lounge to watch planes move in and out or watch the sun rise or set if your there around that time . I would suggest that you take at least 3-4 hours to enjoy this place before your take off. I wish I had spent more time there ! read more

I used to look forward to arriving early to hang out in the lounge, but recent changes has cheapened the experience. My gripes are: breakfast ends at 10 - who wants short ribs at 10am? Starbursts have been replaced by Tootsie Rolls - which the candy preference of NO ONE. You now have to ask for fresh fruit or bottled water - I guess bananas thieves are on the loose. Considering the criteria to access the lounge they need to step up their game - not dual them back. read more

A happy coincidence landed me at this lounge. Tomato soup is ethereal ( made from scratch) and the Mac and cheese entree yummy! The staff bends over backwards to accommodate. I'm here on a Saturday of a holiday weekend so the lounge is pretty empty. Highly recommend. read more

My wife and I paid to spend time here for the 3 hours wait for our flight. There are no other lounges (to my knowledge.) There is a very decent buffet, excellent desserts, and free non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Service was excellent. The only downside is that it is small and got full while we were there. I would suggest making an online reservation. read more

Granted--it doesn't compare to some of the international setups when you're flying out of LAX or the Centurion Lounge at LAS... But, the service I enjoyed at Escape Lounge out rivaled the competition from other larger hubs, and I absolutely loved the selection of beers, especially Flower Power IPA! read more

This is the best thing going at Bradley. Excellent food and beverages - connection with the Millwright chef I believe. Tapas style small plates. Nice bar. It's worth the dollars to enter or free with business class on Aer Lingus. Great place to take a break from the busy single terminal in Hartford. Just visited the BDL Escape Lounge for the first time and absolutely love it! Great selection of food, especially compared to The Club lounges, and it was all delicious! A very comfy atmosphere to relax before a flight. And the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Jackie and Andy! Used the wifi and the bathroom, no complaints there. And how did I almost forget the to-go cookies and candy?! Just make sure you have the right Amex Platinum and you're good to go :) Can't wait to come back! read more

Today is my third visit to the Escape Lounge in the BDL airport (Hartford-Windsor Locks). The food is very good for lounge food. The bar is great. But it is the staff which makes this a stand-out lounge. Attentive and nver too busy to address a need...even when jounge is packed. I've been in United/American/Delta/Alaska lounges and these guys challenge the very best. I'm so glad since I will be flying out of BDL for the next 18 months. read more

Lovely welcome addition to this airport that I frequent and sweet "no attitude" staff Comfy chairs and despite being small, it felt spacious Nice coffee machine but could be cleaner as I noticed it could really use a wipe down Food choices were good,nice presentation but wish they had some healthier options Soup was very flavorful. A small fridge with help yourself cold drinks would be a suggestion to add. Noticed crumbs on the floor when I placed my charger in the floor outlet and bathroom is atrocious with overflowing trash and toilet paper off the roll holder, so another suggestion would be to have regular checks on these areas and improve the cleanliness read more

After a rough weekend at my father in laws memorial service, we arrived early at Bradley international b4 our 2nd coast to coast trip in a month. We were basically told I had the "wrong" AE Premier Card and told it would be 90 to use this lounge. No where at the door does it say anything about having to have a specific AExpress card. Bad on you American Express, the one time I need you, you deceive and mislead. Double bad on you escape lounge for not posting your real rules. read more
