ESAU Electrical Services--especially Ernesto--deserve more than 5 stars. They recently installed multiple light fixtures in my home, including an incredibly complex raindrop chandelier on a 22-foot ceiling. This wasn't your average job--it required creativity, precision, and problem-solving at the highest level. Ernesto handled it with genius-level skill and calm confidence. What really stood out was how fun and easy it was to have them around. Working with ESAU felt less like hiring contractors and more like spending time with good friends. They were here for several days, and by the time the job wrapped up, I actually missed having them around! If you're looking for a master electrician who's not only brilliant but also down-to-earth, reliable, and an absolute pleasure to work with--look no further than Ernesto and Marguerite of ESAU Electrical Services. I won't call anyone else in the future. read more

I reached out to them through Yelp. My project was simple--I just needed a few light switches around the house to be repaired. They followed up by text message to give me a quote and set up a day and time. When the day came, the electrician and his assistant were polite and efficient as they completed the tasks; they were done within 30 minutes. It's been about 6 months since the repairs were done, and my switches are still working nicely. read more

My wife and I noticed a few of our neighbors putting up permanent outdoor LEDs and we really liked the idea, so we started looking for an installer. I reached out to several "Christmas light pros" and ran into different issues with each -- proprietary hardware/app, overpriced, couldn't install till late December, etc. I decided to look for electricians with exterior security/lighting installation experience instead. Ernesto initially responded to my project request by explaining how the cost varied significantly depending on house size and power accessibility. After sending him a photo of my home, Ernesto was able to answer all of my questions, suggested the same set of Govee lights that I had already been eyeing, and provided photos of similar projects they'd done. Within two days, he and Marguerite came out to take measurements so I knew what length to buy and told me to call them as soon as the lights arrived. Measurements were taken Tuesday, I ordered the lights directly from Govee on Friday, lights arrived Sunday. ESAU team came out Wednesday and finished the job same day. Fair price, excellent attention to detail, and very receptive to feedback/nitpicking. I couldn't be more satisfied with the result! read more

Ernesto and his apprentice Marguerite are a dynamic duo. Marguerite provided a detailed and clear quote for all the different tasks we needed help with (new circuits and outlets for appliances, new porch light, repairing non functional outlets, installing a hood vent for a new induction range etc). Although each task was small there were a LOT of them and they needed to be done right! The house is very old (circ. 1910) so it is full of weird difficult quirks that making working on it challenging. I am appreciative to everyone who comes out and is willing to work with it! Ernesto is quiet, focussed, and very knowledgable. He worked diligently while also making time to train his apprentice (which I appreciated and I thought was cool - we need more people in skilled trades and I enjoying seeing someone learning a new skill). He supervised everything and I feel confident everything was done well. There was some unavoidable damage to drywall which was expected (the historic construction style of our house doesn't lead to easy electrical access) and they were fair about reimbursing the small areas which were deemed accidental/avoidable. The ESAU team was also extremely fast. I was surprised how much they were able to complete in just two days. They stayed late the final day and worked overtime to make sure everything was completed in a timely manner. We will hire them again for our future electrical work. read more

I was very happy with the work performed by Esau. They were professional and work done per their estimate.

We had an electrical fire in our RV and they were able to come to us and fix it. It is Hard to find an electrician for RV's, you usually have to drive them to a repair shop and they take months to get back. This was so convenient and reasonably priced, I couldn't be happier to have found them. They also went above and beyond to work with me and my schedule. I highly recommend this company. read more

I can't say enough about my experience with ESAU in fixing my non-working, vintage floor lamp. John and Marguerite were incredibly friendly, responsive, and the work they did went beyond what was expected. They not only repaired the wiring and sockets (which is all I asked for), but they made other repairs to hardware and refreshed both the wood and glass pieces as an added surprise. They were also incredibly accommodating with pick up times and even offered to deliver the lamp to me. Thank you guys for being such great people on top of the amazing work you did. My lamp is better than new! read more

Ernesto and Marguerite are the best in town. They are two dedicated professionals who run a honest and fantastic business with a goal to ensure that the work delivered results in customer delight. We needed to get lighting done in our yard for a large event and after an initial review of the work and estimate ( which was very very reasonable) , they got right to it and in 3 days as promised had everything up and running and all with a smile. I have worked with 5 electricians in the past and they are the only electrician I have called back for more work. These people were amazing. Not only were they quick to respond to Yelp's quote blast, they were also the first. = 1 . They were the first the quickest available to come out and inspect (unlike some who didn't want to come out). + 1 They were super nice and super knowledgeable. They had a few different options to correct my problem. +1 After inspection, they quickly gave me a bidding quote less than a few hours. + 1 On top of it, they gave me a lower bid than others! +1 THAT'S FIVE STARS . Hey, Yelp! Can I give more stars? Because these people deserve it! They were able to schedule the service quicker than expected. +1 When they got here, they remained super friendly, professional, and efficient! =1 They are now my #1 go-to electricians. Esau Electrical Services are excellent!Ernesto and Marguerite make an incredible team. If you want the best advice, the best work and a real commitment to do the best job possible, give them a call. Over the years I've dealt with a lot of businesses who appear professional but often fail in their work because of lack of knowledge, poor communication and or expertise, on a scale of 1-10 they'd be lucky to get a 6. Esau Electrical Services was great from start to finish! After sending a message via Yelp, the whole process was quick, professional, and simple. The team came out right away to take a look at the work we needed done; they walked me through the entire plan and made sure I was on board. I've had to wait for estimates before but they had a thorough and easy to understand quote for me within a few hours of leaving my house. There was a lot of work we needed done and the price was incredibly fair for all of it. They were able to start almost right away (only delayed by the long holiday weekend) and got the big job done very quickly. Throughout the job, they were wonderful at communication and making sure we knew what was going on. All of the work seems to be done well and we are very happy with everything they did. I had the most amazing experience with Ernesto and Marguerite. I had called many other electricians based on personal referrals and from Nextdoor, including the FB groups. Out of the 8 that I contacted, I got two responses but they both ended up ghosting me. I know that there are "bigger" and "better paying" jobs out there but I'm really big on responsiveness. At least let the potential client know that you aren't available. Regardless, ESAU returned my call promptly, they met with me promptly, and Ernesto took the time to do some heavy research on what what causing my electrical problems. I'm very satisified with ESAU and I am already booking them for additional work. I hope you all give them a chance to bid on your work. He's very meticulous and professional. read more

I sent out a Yelp service request of ESAU was among the first to reach out. Marguerite is very responsive, accommodating, and kind. Herself and Ernesto showed up right on time, diagnosed the issue that other electricians couldn't, and managed to solve my issue with minimal disruption. Whereas other electricians wanted to open up about 4 feet of drywall to install a new doorbell transformer, Ernesto was creative and used his ingenuity to get the job done with NO wall breaking. They were professionals, making sure to clean up after themselves and put everything back in its place. Highly recommend their services! read more
