Wow, I don't even know where to begin. I initially called David Electric for a quote to install some outlets and David asked if I would like one over the phone, or if I wanted a person to come out. I opted to have someone come out just so I can be clear on what I'm looking for. Prior to arrival I received a text that Sam was en route. Sam arrived on time, and looked at where I wanted the outlets and quickly provided me a quote. I went ahead and called back to accept the quote, and Sam was able to come out the next day. Sam and Dallas showed up on time and went straight to work. They were both hard working, respectful, personable, and extremely knowledgable. They installed 4 GFCI outlets and replaced another outlet in about 3 hours. I was very impressed because every time they wanted to move personal items on the countertop they would ask me first. Sam also noticed that I was working, so he would warn me when it was going to get loud, and asked if I would be in any meetings or if it was okay to shout out to me - I found this to be extremely considerate. I asked Sam a few questions about what he thinks I should and shouldn't consider, and he was very honest. He had valid reasons for what I should consider, and he bluntly told me he's not going to try to sell me on something I don't need. I really appreciated the transparency. You could definitely tell by the way Dallas and Sam treated not just me, but one another that they are both men of integrity and it was such a pleasure to have them come out. Had intermittent electrical issues throughout the house. Called Dave and their tech, Aiden, came out the next day. Aiden found an issue with the AC breaker in our panel (because the issues seemed to happen when the AC came on). They fixed it, we paid, they left. Happy as can be. .... But then discovered the issue wasn't fixed, so Aiden came back out just a few hours later, spent another hour tracking down the issue, found it was an Edison problem. No charge. They could fix it, but Edison would do it for free, since it was their equipment. Very happy with service, response times, and how professional and friendly they were. Highly recommend. read more

David Electric is the most honest, professional, thorough, and courteous services I have encountered in contracting home upgrade and maintenance work. My electric control panel was original to my 60 year old home. It had stopped working and protecting the house against power surges and would not shut off electricity thus making my house prone to very dangerous fire hazards. I had experienced 5 electrical danger episodes since December. However no one told me the root of all these problems was the electric panel. Moreover, these problems had previously been addressed by the big electric sales and repair company that sold me my HVAC system in the winter of 2024. They quoted me $20,000 to do the work that David Electric came came to fix, After evaluation of the status of the house , David Electric sent staff to the house on emergency basis and performed all the work and separated circuits in the kitchen all in one day. My house is now safe and up to date with the best electrical equipment and current building codes. David Electric did all the work and evaluated existing outlet and light switches for problems. This was done at less that half the price that the big electric company quoted me. All work was done with permits that David Electric obtained and their work was inspected by the City of Santa Clarita David electric staff were very clean, their work is guaranteed, they are licensed and bonded. They even had a stucco man come and put the holes in the wall as if it was the original stucco work when the house was first built. David Electric is the only company I shall always call in to address all future electrical needs. read more

Found my new electrician! David Electric was the best and I'm so glad we decided to try them. Dave was referred to us from a friend that used them for a large project and had nothing but great things to say. I thought our job was pretty small but decided to give them a try. I left a message and Dave called me back about an hour or so later. I explained the situation and when we tried to schedule the appointment I wasn't available until later in the week so Dave (on his day off) came out himself the same day! His team was already booked and because it was a small job I really appreciated his offer to come himself. He explained the pricing on the phone and how the price would increase ONLY if he needed to install extra parts. Dave showed up on time and repaired the outlets for the price we already discussed and cleaned up after he was done. Very helpful and he also recommended another company for a project we're working on. He's an SCV local with an excellent reputation. Turns out we know other people that have used him on different size projects and they all had positive feedback on his work and integrity. Since we really liked Dave and the work he did, we scheduled another appointment and Kyle came out to replace a GFCI outlet that happened to catch fire. I was expecting it to cost a lot of money and for more things that needed to be done but Kyle was just as amazing as Dave and didn't hit us with any surprise work. Kyle tested all the outlets outside that were affected by the burnt outlet after he was done to make sure everything was working properly. He made sure to show us that there was power to all the outlets. It was also really hot outside that day and he was not complaining or trying to rush out. He took his time to answer our questions and made sure we were happy with the work. We asked about changing out some outdoor covers that we didn't think were doing the job but Kyle reassured us we didn't need to change them and that our current covers were still good. He said we could change them and that he had all the parts but that there was no need to spend the extra money. WOW!!!! We will be telling everyone we know in the area to give Dave a try. Quick, responsive, and fairly priced Needed a small chandelier light hung in the dining room, a light fixture replaced at the front door, a light fixture added at the back sliding door with a separate switch for a higher power light on a pole. The chandelier cord was too short, but they gave us the name of a shop to take it to to get it rewired with a longer cord. They got what they could work on that day done quickly and well.
