I am one of those people that likes to decorate my home for the holidays. As long as I can remember, I have been hanging Christmas and Halloween lights around the perimeter of my house. As I've gotten older, I have began to dislike doing this more and more, especially since it involved climbing up and down ladders. Just yesterday, I had JFX Lighting install Govee pro lights around my house. Govee lights are LED lights that can be programmed to do all sorts of different light patterns. I live on a corner so I wanted the entire perimeter covered. JFX Lighting showed up on time and did a wonderful job installing the lights. I was a little concerned with getting the lights installed on an area with stucco only and no eaves. JFX Lighting did a creative install in that area and I am completely impressed with how they turned out. JFX did a masterful job installing everything. All lights blend in well with the rest of the house. JFX Lighting are good at what they do! Since my house is basically the first in the neighborhood to go with LED lighting, I'm sure my neighbors will inquire about it. I will for sure recommend JFX to them if they decide to go with this setup. read more

John was super quick to respond and setup my appointment! I had some installed in a different area of my house and wanted to extend to the back. He was very knowledgeable and even walked me through the app to make sure I was using it correctly. Thanks to much John, I will definitely recommend you to others! read more

I cannot say enough about John of JFX Lighting. From the moment I contacted him requesting a quote to the moment he finished the job for me, he was on time, extremely friendly, and I could tell he knew what he was doing. For about 10 years now, I have been wanting a fountain in one of our flowerbeds and tried to go the cost saving route of having a solar fountain. Let me tell you, even though you may save money not hiring an electrician, you ultimately will spend money that is wasted on a solar fountain that only works part of the time and is easily broken by a rogue soccer ball kicked by a nine-year-old. John and his employee Blake actually left the area cleaner than when they found it, and I cannot wait to install my new fountain. Do yourself a favor and reach out to John immediately if you would like the job done right. read more

Let's see... what went well? Easy answer, Everything. John was amazing, super nice and very knowledgeable. Price? Value? I'm 65 and every year for the past 20, I hung lights on my 2 story home. 3 spine surgeries and age puts great value on the service that JFX provides. With that said, it was less than I was expecting. Very happy customer read more

We hired John today to install lighting around our house. Halfway through the project, I realized the placement wasn't what I expected, so we asked him to redo it. Without any extra charge, he removed everything and started again. John pays great attention to detail! the lights look amazing, very clean with wires hidden as much as possible. He is organized, professional, and arrived on time. On top of that, he's friendly and easy to talk to. We're extremely happy with the final result and highly recommend him! read more

Finding this company was a pleasant surprise. We saw a small poster while driving, later checked the Yelp reviews, and decided to give them a call. After getting an acceptable quote we scheduled a time for them to come by to look at the house. 1.5 hours later they had completed the installation, upstairs and downstairs. John (extremely patient with us as we're not all that tech savvy) guided us through using the app to control the lights (they can change color, change for holidays, create motion effects and so on.) Installation is very professional looking, as was the crew that installed them. We only had the lights put in the front of the house, but if we decide to add more lights in the future, I can confidently say we'd use them again. read more

We had such a great experience with John. We have been going back and forth about backyard lighting. We wanted string lights, but never pulled the trigger due to some really expensive estimates. We saw John's information in our neighborhood and decided to give him a call. We didn't have a specific design in mind, but gave John some details. We wanted clean, simple, and symmetrical. He didn't disappoint. He even suggested to put lights around the playground (which we agreed to). We were not disappointed. John was knowledgeable, professional, and reliable. We wanted to see if we could get it done within a week, and John delivered. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for outdoor lighting. read more

I had a bad experience with this company's crew out of my safety I have decided to leave an anonymous review, please do not reach out and get a quote from these people. they left after getting into a argument of what I wanted and left a mess of supplies around my house as well as the lights dangling. This is not the level of craftsmanship I expected from a professional company. Stay away from them read more

I would not recommend this permanent lighting company. The installation was done very poorly, and they used hot glue to hold the wires in place, leaving glue all over my stucco. It looks unprofessional, and now I'm left trying to remove the glue without damaging the exterior of my home. What made the experience even worse was their response after I brought up the issues. Instead of taking responsibility for the workmanship, I was told that the problem was with my house and not with them or their installation. In my opinion, that was an excuse to avoid addressing the poor quality of the work. Despite the condition they left my home in, I have not been able to get a refund or a satisfactory resolution. Customer service is just as important as the installation itself, and I was disappointed by both. If you're considering permanent outdoor lighting, I'd recommend looking at other companies that stand behind their work and take responsibility when something goes wrong. read more

I've been wanting string lights for my backyard for the longest time, and I finally reached out to JFX Lighting. I spoke with John, shared my vision for the space, and he immediately got on the same page with me. After our conversation, I sent him a video of my backyard, and he called me back right away with some great ideas. He was confident in his suggestions, gave me a clear breakdown of costs, and mentioned he could start after the weekend. I was already impressed by his professionalism. As the installation day approached, I couldn't contain my excitement. I pictured hosting dinners, having cozy date nights in my string-lit yard after the kids went to bed... I couldn't wait to see it all come together. Let me tell you, JFX Lighting didn't just meet my expectations--they exceeded them. Wow! The results were beyond what I imagined. If there was a 0 rating that's what they would get. They came out for a simple job, but made so complicated so they can milk the time they were here. After an hr they packed up & wanted to invoice me without fixing the problem. The whole time they were at my house, I was telling them where the problem was, but they kept on looking at other places to waste time. When I refuse to pay them, they argued and said fine they will look at where I was directing them. The problem was two wires were disconnected & all they had to do was connect them together. That took 2 hours. Very frustrating and amateur work. They changed me $360 for something that should've taken 15 minutes top. I had to call another company to vix the additional problems that they created.... I wouldn't use these unprofessional people if they were the last company (electricians) on earth. I highly discourage anyone from using them... read more
