I am one of those people that likes to decorate my home for the holidays. As long as I can remember, I have been hanging Christmas and Halloween lights around the perimeter of my house. As I've gotten older, I have began to dislike doing this more and more, especially since it involved climbing up and down ladders. Just yesterday, I had JFX Lighting install Govee pro lights around my house. Govee lights are LED lights that can be programmed to do all sorts of different light patterns. I live on a corner so I wanted the entire perimeter covered. JFX Lighting showed up on time and did a wonderful job installing the lights. I was a little concerned with getting the lights installed on an area with stucco only and no eaves. JFX Lighting did a creative install in that area and I am completely impressed with how they turned out. JFX did a masterful job installing everything. All lights blend in well with the rest of the house. JFX Lighting are good at what they do! Since my house is basically the first in the neighborhood to go with LED lighting, I'm sure my neighbors will inquire about it. Finding this company was a pleasant surprise. We saw a small poster while driving, later checked the Yelp reviews, and decided to give them a call. After getting an acceptable quote we scheduled a time for them to come by to look at the house. 1.5 hours later they had completed the installation, upstairs and downstairs. John (extremely patient with us as we're not all that tech savvy) guided us through using the app to control the lights (they can change color, change for holidays, create motion effects and so on.) Installation is very professional looking, as was the crew that installed them. We only had the lights put in the front of the house, but if we decide to add more lights in the future, I can confidently say we'd use them again. read more

I would not recommend this permanent lighting company. The installation was done very poorly, and they used hot glue to hold the wires in place, leaving glue all over my stucco. It looks unprofessional, and now I'm left trying to remove the glue without damaging the exterior of my home. What made the experience even worse was their response after I brought up the issues. Instead of taking responsibility for the workmanship, I was told that the problem was with my house and not with them or their installation. In my opinion, that was an excuse to avoid addressing the poor quality of the work. Despite the condition they left my home in, I have not been able to get a refund or a satisfactory resolution. Customer service is just as important as the installation itself, and I was disappointed by both. If you're considering permanent outdoor lighting, I'd recommend looking at other companies that stand behind their work and take responsibility when something goes wrong. read more

If there was a 0 rating that's what they would get. They came out for a simple job, but made so complicated so they can milk the time they were here. After an hr they packed up & wanted to invoice me without fixing the problem. The whole time they were at my house, I was telling them where the problem was, but they kept on looking at other places to waste time. When I refuse to pay them, they argued and said fine they will look at where I was directing them. The problem was two wires were disconnected & all they had to do was connect them together. That took 2 hours. Very frustrating and amateur work. They changed me $360 for something that should've taken 15 minutes top. I had to call another company to vix the additional problems that they created.... I wouldn't use these unprofessional people if they were the last company (electricians) on earth.
